Hello, my name is Lisa. I have never done anything like this before, but I am in dire need of financial help. I would like to tell you about myself. I was raised by a mom and a dad who loved me dearly, and taught me all I needed to be a good hearted person. I always try to help whenever I can, no matter how small. I have always been a hard worker, until I had an injury to my left knee. I have to have knee replacement and I am only 55 years old. My husband and I have not been able to save the money for that surgery and it has been 2 years. I need the 10% out of pocket expense in order to even schedule the surgery. Not to mention, all the other bills that are behind, including a power bill. The cost of everything is just out of our reach it seems. I barely eat, losing 45 pounds in the past 6 months, because I always put everything before myself.

We also rescued several horses in the past when we were both working; now that we do not have my income we are barely scraping by. I know you may say to yourself then you should sell or rehome some of them. We are trying to as we speak, but we ran into an issue there. The vet said, that our pony cannot travel and needs a breathing treatment before she will be allowed. This alone is breaking my heart, knowing 2 of my babies are leaving.

Additionally, my husband started a new job, and now the health insurance is literally $1300.00 a month just for me, we know I need surgery, but the health insurance is killing us. We are behind in almost every bill. I can honestly say I feel helpless, and to some degree worthless. There seems like there is nothing I can do to change the situation. Hello all, so first. My Name is Greg, and I am new to this. I have exhausted all of my options and found myself here. I’ll explain. Due to illness and loss, I have now become my family’s primary the breadwinner, my younger brother and sister live with me. Work was rocky for a while, especially with the way covid destroyed my main places of employment years back. It’s been an uphill climb ever since. I had newfound hope, with landing a third job. Thinking, now I got this, but at the moment, I truly do not. Back covid bills are now starting to really Reak havoc. Also, that this MUST be resolved within ten days of receiving the letter, which will be this Friday the 21st, or they have no choice but to move on to the possible eviction process, because the domicile is considered no longer habitable. The domicile. Is our home. My little family is everything to me, and it kills me to hug my little sister with a smile, staying positive in front of her while she says to me, everything is goanna be okay. I am ashamed to say that I almost have to hold back tears. But I will NOT give up. That’s why I’m here. Hello, my name is Levi. I’ve never done anything like this and am not sure if there is a “standard model” per se and I hope that you will bear with me. I’d like to begin by telling you a bit about myself. I’m a country boy at heart and soul, born and raised on a family dairy farm in Southwest Missouri. I have three beautiful young ladies of my own. I’ve been a hard worker, giving it my all since about age 9. I’ve never really been one to ask for help, but the first to offer a helping hand when the opportunity would arise. These parts of my moral compass have stuck with me into adulthood. Although lately I can’t help but feel as though I’m only drowning and running out of breath . For the past good while I’ve just been sinking under the cost of life and circumstances. So Im humbly asking for some help, please.

To begin, I’ve been laid off for the last 3 months and hoping to be able to return to my full-time job soon, but my bills have not stopped and I’m now looking at shut offs and am currently about 3 months behind on my rent. It alone runs me $1,200 a month. I’m blessed to have a decent job but compared to the cost of living, it just barely cuts it and I’ve only hardly been getting by for about as long as I can remember. Currently Im in the situation where I had been and will be walking to work and anywhere I need to go, whereas my blazer had broken down going back home to see my youngest babygirl almost 2 years ago, and I have not been able to get nearly ahead enough to buy another vehicle. Unfortunately, currently I don’t have custody of her and had moved 2 hours North to Kansas City to be closer to my middle daughter, making trips back home to see my youngest on the weekends. Although, since my vehicle broke down, I have not been able to see my youngest as her guardians are not willing to work with me on visits to bring her to me at all or even part way, and I have no one here to help me out. Apart from being buried in the debt from my bills I am also in desperate need of any transportation, not only to be able to make the trip back home to see my baby, but even for everyday use to and from work and especially the grocery store and such. Also, especially for the security and well-being of my other children. This would take a great load off of my heart and shoulders. I had tried to buy an older Ford Escape a while back and even working two jobs was not able to get financed with having no credit or anyone to co-sign for me. I have tried to use some public assistance programs but have not had any luck as they run out of funding very fast, and I just don’t have any more time to wait as the hole is only getting deeper every day. These are the necessities I’m trying to meet and generally as long as that is so for my children and I, I’m pretty content, though of course I would love to be able to offer them more and know what it’s like to live a comfortable life not always scraping to get by. I’ve been trying to develop some income online though I have not had much success with great takeoff yet. I struggle with severe ADHD and fight hard to not let that and the circumstances pull me into depression. I am keeping my head up though and doing my best to keep on keeping on but I could desperately use any financial help right now that anyone has to offer, please. I have a 9:00 to 5:00 job but can hardly make ends meet as I also must support other family members. My mother is 76 years of age and is very ill with high blood pressure, diabetes, and arthritis. She cannot do much for herself and we cannot afford a helper, so I have to provide a monthly stipend for my brother to cook her meals and basically stay with her for the majority of the day while I am at work. I also support my aunt monthly with a small cash allowance and by paying her electricity bill as she is unable to work because of her knees which keep slipping out. The most recent diagnosis from the Doctor is that the muscles in the knees are worn out. To make matters worse currently, my brother on whom I depend on to assist my mother requires surgery for an enlarged kidney. We just cannot come up with the money for his surgery any time soon.

I rely heavily on my credit card to help cover some of the expenses and my monthly bills, but I have not been able to pay the credit card bill and my bank keeps deducting interest and insurance fees every month from the card. The limit on the card is almost exhausted and I am desperately in need of help to pay the credit card balance. I could have acquired a loan to pay up the card balance as the loan would be at a lower interest rate, but I do not qualify for an additional loan as I already have a loan that is being serviced through salary deduction.

In order to tap into another stream of income, I have enrolled as a student with Transcribe Anywhere Online Transcription Training School to learn transcription. I know that this course will help me to become a professional transcriptionist and provide more income for me which I badly need.

Currently, I find myself in a bit of a need, I find myself reaching out with a heavy heart. I am in urgent need of emergency funds to reclaim my vehicle, which was recently repossessed. The series of events leading to this predicament began with a sudden and necessary repair of my car’s alternator and battery, followed by the replacement of the front axle. The costs were substantial, depleting my financial reserves, which led to an inability to meet the subsequent car payments. Despite my best efforts to manage my finances, the repair expenses took priority, resulting in a two-month delay in car payments.

My girlfriend and I are moving closer to our family members because they’re all we really have, but as much as they would want to support us, they’re not in a position. I found a new job already, and I start July 9th. Overnight shift at a grocery store that pays not much, but whatever, it’s something. Neurodivergent gf is still looking, but keeps watching suicide prevention videos because the thought of masking constantly at work is so overwhelming (don’t worry, she does have a therapist to reach out to). I know this will get better for her if some of the other stressors are alleviated. 

Needless to say, we’re trying to do things in service to protecting our safety and mental health, but the financial burdens are hampering us from feeling like we’re going to make it.
