Hi, my name is Mitchell and  I have student loans to pay off, matter of fact I have been paying in the since the 1980s, I am 67 as of toady. And it never seems I can get these knocked down. I still owe almost $19,000. And if anyone has ever had a Student loan, you how they can take your tax returns, even my Social Security checks. I’m not in default. So that stops them. But since I have retired, forced out is a better word. I have decided to start my own business, in photography. It’s always been a hobby and I have had a little success. But that was years ago. I love shooting animals and still life. I would take these photos and frame them, then sell them to friends and just anyone that liked them. So this is really a 2 part asking. Hello my name is Charles Anderson i’m 46yrs old. Ill start first by saying thank you and God bless whoever donates to this post.  The reason that I’m writing this now is because I have no where else to turn to, I just had a Mild stroke Sunday 3-17-24 and found myself in Community Hospital in Munster Indiana not being able to talk without stuttering and not being able to walk because my lift leg is shut down because of what i’m about to explain to you.

I started a Construction Company (NB Investment And Construction) to help Ex Offenders in Chicago when they get out of prison get a job and teach them skills that would allow them to be recognized in the work force as someone that were worthy to be given the opportunity to have a REAL second chance in life. I also employed young men to keep them from going to prison in the hopes to make a change in the community. My goal was to help them feed their selves and their families without them falling back into the criminal lifestyles that they were living before. I myself was face with this problem and noticed that it was nearly impossible to get a GOOD paying  job for more than $15 hr, which is barley enough to feed yourself let alone your kids when I was released in 2013 and that is what inspired me. I did this for 6 years growing into a construction laboring force. Teaming with other Plumbing and Electric companies teaching men skills that they could use to build their own companies and plus building workshops to show you how to get a LLC until Covid came.  When the Pandimic hit I was hit hard for 2 years fighting to keep the ball rolling but NOT able to work in peoples homes was tough to do business. I couldn’t get a PPP Relief loan due to my record and I had to downsize. It was hard but I made it work I ended up with only 4 workers the men that are still around with me today that expect me to help still feed them and their families.

Bringing you to Current events, I have been struggling the last 2 years and right this very moment i’m $5,000 behind on rent, can’t get my work truck out the shop from a transmission repair that cost $2,000 and I have over drawn my accounts by $3000 ($1,400 to Paypal, $1,600 to bank of America). For the last 8 months any jobs we done would only mange to pay my workers and would leave me with barley enough to get by. My Fiancee left me 5 months ago and moved to Houston Texas and as I’m typing this letter my Landlord is looking to KICK ME OUT!

THIS IS WHY I HAD THE STROKE I would assume and I don’t have any insurance to help me so I was told I had to be discharged from the hospital.

I am an author. I recently published my first book, Annie the Adventurer (so you know I follow through!) and just started writing my second. I have several other books outlined, but I can’t do everything all at once! I am also a business owner that is looking to get out of her current business to be able to write full time.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved books, reading, and writing. I loved being assigned essays and book reports in school because I am a nerd (and nerds are cool.) Now, it is really all I want to do for many, many reasons. After 15 years of doing hair, I am burnt out and my body hurts. I need regular injections in my feet just to be able to stand and walk, and even those aren’t helping much anymore. I just physically am at the end of that career, and mentally tired. I want to write more books, and since I am self-published, and since the publishing industry doesn’t do much for authors anymore, I am here asking you to help. Essentially, asking for money as an “advance,” so that I can step away from the salon and focus on writing.

I am good at what I do. I believe in the book that I have written and the books I am writing. I believe that once they are in the world, they will bring joy to others, and once I am financially stable from the sales, that I will be able to give back in so many ways. People tell me I write beautifully, and that they love my stories. I’m not just over here tooting my own horn. I am self-aware enough to know that there are some things I am good at, and some things I am not, but I am good at writing. I have been a finalist in writing competitions, I have been chosen as a Top Story on various writing platforms (I publish a piece twice a week.) So I know I can do this. I suppose I could continue juggling work and family and find time to write- other people do it too- but I know there are people out there with money that like to help others so hey, why not try and see if I can get enough to at least take a month or so off of work to write. Three months would be ideal. (Especially with the heat of Texas creeping in, it would be awesome to go somewhere cooler to write for a few months.)

My name is Nicky, I am a mother of a wonderful 19 year old son. I find myself in what is truly a financial precarious situation and am going on pure faith, a wing and a prayer at the moment. I realize now, I am a powerful soul and am ready to get to work!  I feel so strongly about the power of meditation and need for healing not only for individuals but also for the collective consciousness that I am working feverishly on all kinds of designs related to this topic which are witty and uplifting and am in the process of launching a website, Etsy, and Shopify in the next 6 weeks. I am of the belief we are all pure souls who have all been on a very long journey and all brothers and sisters.
