Need help paying education fees

Hello dear people of the internet,

As I read through the pleas of so many of the other good people on the site I think that my troubles are quite small in comparison. If you feel you need to give to anyone else here, than please do so. For a quick summary, I am in need of 5000 dollars to pay the remainder of my tuition by Friday, March 31st or I will be deported.

Currently I’m an immigrant in Australia studying Physics. I’m in my final semester of my Bachelors degree. I’m from Bhutan a developing country in the Himalayas. So far I’ve managed to fund my living and tuition fees,. I’ve worked both part time and cash jobs to make ends meet. However this term I’m short 5000 dollars due to having to help pay for my family’s debts. My father is a traditional painter and his business suffered from some losses during the COVID period and since then we’ve been struggling a little but now in my last semester we haven’t been able to keep up.

Due to my limited visa, it’s difficult to get accepted for any loans, which I had previously been using to help pay the fees in my earlier years. When I began to write this, I felt that my situation was truly dire. I don’t have any wealthy relatives or friends whom I can ask for help. I didn’t know who to turn to and I don’t really know all too much about this. I happened to come across this site from a recommendation by a friend.

In order to make a better pitch, I read through some of the other entrants and felt a tad humbled. I decided to write out a more honest pitch instead. I don’t stand to face anything more than the disappointment and heartbreak of my family, face the poor economic conditions of my home country while trying to pay back loans and debts accrued while pursuing this degree and a great deal of time and money wasted on a degree I’ll fail to complete at the last leg. Although I understand that this is not so bad in comparison to the range of suffering out there, to me it is still terrifying and leaves me with an awful feeling and a heaviness in my heart.

I recognise that my struggles might even be insignificant compared to some of the folks here, and that I’m perhaps a selfish human being for wishing to be helped here. I apologise for the rather mixed and haphazard request I’ve written up and thank you if you’ve spent the time reading it. Despite this I’ll be forever grateful to you if you’d help me in any way you might be able to.

Assault Survivor and Veteran asking for help getting back into school

My name is Devin Johnson, a 29-years-old from the vibrant city of Chicago with a humble plea for assistance to help rebuild my life after facing unimaginable challenges. My life took an unexpected turn when, while Serving in the United States Navy and studying at Tuskegee University, I was forced medically discharged due to a traumatic incident of sexual assault that left me not only emotionally scarred but also battling the harsh realities of living with HIV, this also forced me to have to drop out of school due to my mental health, being diagnosed with PTSD, and no longer having a means to pay for college. The aftermath of these events led me down a dark path, filled with thoughts of suicide, drug abuse, and a constant struggle with mental health issues.

Through sheer determination and the support of loved ones, I managed to find my way to recovery. I successfully completed rehab and emerged with a newfound strength to confront the challenges that lay ahead. However, the rising costs of mental health treatment and medication have become insurmountable barriers to my progress. Just recently, I faced the heart-wrenching decision of choosing between paying for life-saving medication or retaining my means of transportation to work. The consequence was the repossession of my car, plunging me into a deep depression.  Although, My dream of becoming a father and completing college felt as though it was unfairly taken away from me by someone who had no regard for my well-being, I still have hope, and as hard as this is for me I am desperately asking for assistance and putting aside my pride.

I am asking, not just as a plea for financial assistance, but for a chance at redemption and a renewed sense of purpose. My goal is to raise $50,000 to cover the costs of mental health treatment, medication, my first semester in school (I was recently accepted into the Los Angeles film school to study audio production) and the necessary steps to continue getting back on my feet.

Your investment will not only help me regain stability but will also contribute to breaking the cycle of struggle that has plagued my life. I envision building a business that not only sustains me but also supports my family and, one day, allows me to fulfill my dream of becoming a loving and responsible father. I understand the gravity of my request, and I approach you with the utmost respect. Your support is not just a financial contribution; it is a lifeline that will help restore hope, dignity, and purpose to a life that has weathered immense storms.

I seek not only financial support but also your emotional investment in the possibility of a brighter future. Every donation, no matter the size, is a step toward rebuilding a life that was nearly shattered. I humbly ask you to consider being a part of this journey by contributing whatever you possibly can. Your generosity will not only change my life but will have a ripple effect on the lives of those connected to mine. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering being a part my journey to rebuild.

With sincere gratitude,

Devin Johnson

Determine to fulfil my dream.

Hello everyone,

My name is Latoya, and I have a burning passion for making a positive impact in the medical field. Ever since I was young, I’ve dreamt of becoming a medical doctor, and now, I’m reaching out to ask for your support in making that dream a reality.
The journey to becoming a doctor is a long and challenging one, both academically and financially. Unfortunately, I’ve faced a significant hurdle along the way. I tragically lost both of my parents to cancer, an experience that profoundly impacted me. Witnessing them battle this disease in hospitals highlighted to me the urgent need for change within the medical field.
Despite the heartache of losing my parents, I am more determined than ever to pursue a career in medicine. I firmly believe that the medical profession needs compassionate individuals who are committed to making a difference. My goal is to become one of those individuals, advocating for patients and implementing positive change in the healthcare system.
However, the financial burden of medical school tuition and related expenses is daunting. That’s why I’m turning to you, the community, for assistance. Your generosity can help me cover the costs of my courses, textbooks, and other essential resources needed to excel in my studies.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping me achieve my dream. Your support will not only enable me to pursue my passion but will also empower me to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering supporting my journey to become a doctor. Together, we can create positive change and make a difference in the world of healthcare.

I Want to Go Back to School, and I Finally I Have The Tools I Need

I am seeking financial assistance to go back to school… not just college, which I recently applied to, but also for a short intensive training program that will allow me to move up in my job and earn a higher salary while I am finishing my degree.

I am a 45 year old single mom of one wonderful boy. While I am very aware of my many blessings, there were aspects of my life that were always frustrating to me. From a very young age, I was considered “highly intelligent”, testing at high levels, reading well above age range, etc.… but it really didn’t help me much, because I wasn’t very productive. I didn’t finish assignments, couldn’t pay attention in class, and had a hard time seeing long term things through. This pattern followed me into my young adulthood, where I started and quit community college, then acting school. I’ve always worked, but frustrated both myself and the people who believed in me by never living up to the potential we could all sense. I eventually finished an occupational therapy program and became licensed as a a massage therapist in the state of New York, and while I was always able to work steadily, I never managed to really focus and follow through with the day-to-day details necessary to launch a successful independent practice, the scheduling, the follow up, the paperwork, etc. This made me feel terrible about myself… yet another skill that I was good at, that wouldn’t lead me to success and stability because I wouldn’t do the things that other adults managed so easily. My son was born, and I left the field of bodywork to take a desk job that offered insurance and a steady schedule. I often thought about returning to school to seek my BA, which would allow me to move up in the organization where I work, but I was too afraid that just like so many other times in my life, I wouldn’t be able to see it through, and all the money and time away from my son would be for nothing.

Everything changed when a trusted teacher recommended that I have my son assessed for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. I began to research ADHD, and what I learned changed my life. The symptoms and behaviors described could have been a story about me. All the things that I struggled with, both as a child and to this day were a result not of my being a lazy, careless loser, but a condition that was treatable! I began behavioral therapy to learn how to navigate self–defeating behaviors and began taking medication. Over time, I saw profound changes in my life. The struggles that were such a source of shame to me-time management, money management, household chores, not to mention managing my workload… things that it seemed to me that other women navigated so easily… became more and more manageable. Work managed in a timely fashion, dinner made on time, laundry done and put away BEFORE we ran out of underwear! I suddenly have time at the end of my day… time on the weekends… and going back to school is now doable.

I can’t help but wonder how different my life would be if I had been classified with ADHD as a child… who knows what I could have accomplished? The fact is, in the 80’s, it was rare for girls to be classified with ADHD, especially since most don’t present with hyperactivity-(I didn’t) rather just “day dreamy”, “lazy”“distracted”and “stubborn”. I’ve made my peace with it, though. I’m grateful that I can address  it now, and most of all, I’m grateful that my son will grow up with the tools and support necessary to navigate his ADHD and be successful at anything he wants.

I really want to go back to school, and I am confident that I am ready, but I cannot pay for it on my own. I am the sole provider for my household, and I haven’t been in the position to accumulate savings. I used to have a second job, but I lost it during the pandemic, and I know that realistically, I can’t navigate a full-time job, a home, a child, and a second job. I have filled out a FAFSA, but I am still paying off student loans from the first time I went to school. I am planning to go back to school to get my BA in Liberal Arts in an accelerated program that also awards credits for real life work experience and work–related trainings. In addition to enrolling in college, I want to take an intensive 6-week course for court interpreters that will allow me to apply for better paying position within my organization. I’m not sure how long it will take me to finish my BA, but I know I’m looking at at least two years, and I can’t wait that long to start making moves and increase my income.

I need $2845.00 for the interpreter course.

My university is $512.00 per credit, from 1-11 credits, or $6713.00 for full time students,  from 12-19 credits.

If you can help me, know that you’ll be making a little family’s life infinitely better, and putting us in a position where hopefully one day, we’ll have the chance to pay it forward. Thank you so much for reading.

Title: A Mother’s Plea: Empowering my daughter’s Educational Journey in Veterinary Nursing

Title: A Mother’s Plea: Empowering my daughter’s Educational Journey in Veterinary Nursing

Dear Community

I am widow residing Botswana, who has faced the loss of my husband to suicide and the loss of my job at the end of last year. I have been striving to establish online businesses, though progress has been slower than anticipated.

Last my daughter, was accepted into the veterinary nursing program at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. This institution is the sole provider of this degree on the African continent, boasting international recognition. Her acceptance on her first attempt fills me with pride, especially considering some of her fellow students had tried a few times to gain acceptance into the university. There are only 50 first-year veterinary nursing students that are accepted annually.

I have managed to pay the initial deposit for her university fees, the remaining balance of $3,500 feels impossible to achieve given my current financial circumstances. As a single mother, I am really wanting to provide my daughter with the education she has worked so hard for, recognizing the future impact this shall have on animal welfare.

My daughter’s persistence and dedication to her dream career through hard work, as she begins with her second year studies. She has shown commitment to her fellow students by being elected as the Veterinary nurse representative on the student Council. Her passion for animal welfare from childhood, and promising contributions to the betterment of society at large through her chosen profession. My daughters continued journey hinges on the support and consideration of individuals like yourself.

I am therefore requesting assistance to bridge this financial gap in our time of need. Should you require any supporting documents to substantiate my request, I am more than willing to provide them.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request for financial assistance.

Kind Regards

ASSISSTANCE WITH UNIVERSITY TUITION

Dear Kind Souls,

I hope that all is well with you. I am a 21 year old student seeking some assistance with tuition costs for the remainder of my year at University. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. To give you a backstory on how I ended up in this predicament, I must start from the year 2020, when I was 17, soon to be 18. In March of 2020, I became very ill. My legs began to swell, and I had a seizure relating to my illness that led to me being in the hospital for two days. After leaving the hospital, I began taking supplements and my body slowly began to heal. At this time, I was completing my A levels in school, and I had to drop out because I was too ill to physically continue schooling. Around June-July of 2020, I was healing slowly, but quite nicely. I began getting more sleep (was having issues with insomnia due to the illness), and everything was good. COVID was still running rampant, and so I was still home throughout my healing process. In August of 2020, my mother told me of an ad she heard on the radio that spoke about a scholarship for persons who had recently graduated highschool to be able to apply for an associate degree. I agreed to apply for it, since it was an online course, and I thought I could manage it despite not being 100% healed as yet. I applied for the Associate Degree, but was met with disappointment when I was made aware that only 2020 graduates (I graduated highschool in 2019) were being offered that scholarship. I was dejected, but decided to just keep my eyes open for any new possibilities.

In late September of 2020, I was told by my aunt about a company that was hiring work from home workers. I decided to apply for that, and to work and save for my eventual return to school. By October, I was hired and training from home to start the job. I worked and saved until January 2021. In December 2020, the school that I had applied to had reached out to me via email with an opportunity too good to give up. I was offered to  study a Bachelor’s Degree that I could complete schooling for online, and due to my good grades, I was being offered a 50% off scholarship for the first two years and 25% off the final two years. After some discussions with my parents, we decided to go ahead with resigning from my job and starting school in January 2021. Conversations with my doctors had told me not to try juggling both full time working and school from home, as a lot of my issues stemmed from immense stress that I was experiencing in the period, along with genetic illnesses. I was able to pay for my first semester from my savings, and my parents agreed to help me with my payments until the end of my degree. 2021 and 2022 ended like that, and I was doing well in school, maintaining a 3.67 GPA in school.

My first semester in 2023 was completed in April, and this is where the problems started. At the end of April, my father lost his job. While it was a hit to us financially, my mother’s job was able to keep us afloat for a bit. In May, my mother lost her job as well. For 2021 and 2022, I did school for all possible semesters in the year (including summer) without a break. So this time, I decided that I would not do the summer semester, and instead work to help out and save some money for the fall semester. I began applications for a job at the end of May, and did an interview at the beginning of June. By the end of June, my mother and father had both begun working new jobs. We decided that I would remain home for the summer, since the semester had already started, and my younger sister (4) would usually stay home with me (instead of hiring a babysitter).

So by now, the plan is to stay home with my sister (who was home for summer) and continue schooling in September. September rolls around, and the funds for tuition is still not here, as my parents have been working to break even for the two, almost three months that  they were not working for. The third week of September, my father told me that he was working hard to put together my tuition amount, and asked to me seriously consider whether or not I would be able to manage starting school 4 weeks late, and having to catch up with all that content while having regular classes and quizzes. I decided that I could not manage, as I was ending year 3, beginning year 4 and the courses had gotten a lot heavier. We decided that I would apply for another job from home. That way, I could save for the next semester (January 2024), and I would be home when my baby sister came home from school, so they would not have to incur the additional expense of a babysitter.

I applied for the job in late September. The next day, I got an email requesting documentation and asking when I would be available for an interview. When I sent the information, I was made aware that my ID was expired and that I needed a valid one in order to be considered. In October, I applied and gave fingerprints for an ID. I was told that I would not get the ID until June 2024. Which leads me to where I am now. I do not wish to sit out anymore semesters, and my parents can not afford to assist me. Since I am also unable to get a job, it would be much appreciated if I can get some assistance to be able to pay off my tuition for the next semester. At the current moment, roughly US$32,000 would sufficiently balance off my remaining tuition fees, and the deadline for final payment is February 29th. Thank you in advance for any and all donations. Happy New Year to all.

Urgent Appeal for University Tuition Support

Dear Recipient

I am currently facing unexpected financial challenges that are jeopardizing my ability to continue and complete my studies, and I am seeking help to cover the $6000 needed for tuition fees, textbooks, and essential expenses associated with my academic journey.

Financial assistance to help pay my tuition fees

My name is Karen, and I am an aspiring international student from Ghana with a burning passion for data analysis and a desire to make a difference in the technology field. I am reaching out today with the hope of raising funds or finding a sponsor who can help me pursue my dreams.

I have recently been admitted into Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, to study Applied Data Science for a two-year program starting in September 2024. However, I find myself facing a significant financial hurdle. The total tuition fees for the program amount to approximately 40,000 Canadian dollars, and I am required to pay 9,200 Canadian dollars for the first semester by February 19th, 2024, which I am unable to fulfil due to my current financial circumstances.

I come from a humble background, being the second of ten children in my family. My father, who is the sole breadwinner, works tirelessly to support our family and cover my siblings’ educational expenses. Unfortunately, the high cost of my tuition, coupled with the challenging exchange rate in my country, has placed a tremendous burden on my family’s financial resources.

I am a diligent and determined individual, and I firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking opportunities and realizing my potential. I have taken the initiative to work as a cleaner to contribute to my education fund, but the earnings are not sufficient to cover the substantial costs associated with my studies. Furthermore, I recently fell victim to a scam, where I lost a significant portion of my savings, leaving me in an even more precarious position.

By pursuing Applied Data Science at Thompson Rivers University, I aim to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of data analysis. I have witnessed the success of many remarkable women who have ventured into the technology industry, and it has further fueled my determination to make my mark in this field. I am confident that with the right support, I can contribute to the growing demand for skilled data analysts and serve as an inspiration for other young women aspiring to pursue careers in technology.

I humbly request your assistance and sponsorship to help me overcome the financial challenges I am currently facing. Your generous support would not only enable me to fulfil my educational aspirations but also empower me to make a positive impact in the field of data analysis. Your investment in my education would not go in vain, as I am committed to working hard, achieving academic excellence, and giving back to my community.

For funds you can send it to https://www.paypal.me/karenaseye

With utmost gratitude and anticipation,

MOM

Hi everyone,

Well,  I am 32 years old, married with two children, veteran.  I have been a stay at home mom for the last four or so years, since my son was born.  Things have not been easy but we have managed.  I experience chronic pain on a daily basis, and I am recently suspecting I may be have ADHD and may be mildly Autistic.  I have to get to a professional to confirm but, it would explain a lot of the things I have been struggling with.  So I suppose I am just here to ask for help.  We have struggled to keep healthy food on the table, pay the utilities and my daughters online school tuition.  We pulled her out of public school to try to protect her from liberalism and the private school nearby is even more expensive than the online school she attends now.  My husband, although I am proud he has turned his life around since being incarcerated,  is diagnosed ODD and ADHD, and does not have the slightest clue how to manage money and is too prideful to accept any help.  My daughter has not been able to attend school for almost two weeks because I have not been able to pay her tuition.  I have borrowed about $390 that I owe from a family member but, I don’t want to have to keep doing that.  I also homeschool my four year old.  I have been doing loads of applications to no avail.  A lot of the times, especially for the work form home jobs, they are scammers.  Hoping I will cash their fake checks or fall for their investment schemes.  For the last few years, I have been trying different entrepreneurial venture.  However, I have not been able to find any success as of yet.

In conclusion,  I am asking for $2000.  $1350 would cover her tuition for the rest of the year, and it would be one less thing I would have to worry about, and then maybe my husband can just focus on the rest of the responsibilities. The remaining $650 I would like to put aside for an investment opportunity.  Maybe purchase some wholesale products to sale.  That way I can start a path for myself to financial freedom.

Emergency! Urgent funds needed for studies and living expenses.

I am a 21-year-old second-year student with a 3.96 GPA studying Acting and Content Creation in a college in Los Angeles, California. While I am living and studying in America, I am originally from Toronto, Canada, and I am in a severe financial crisis. I need to urgently collect $13,000 US for tuition plus $6000 for rent and groceries, because if I don’t, I will have to drop out of my school, lose my place of residence, and as a result, I will also have to give up on my main aspiration in life. My family and I do not make a rule to resort to begging for financial help, but we left this as a last resort if our problems became truly unmanageable. However, this past year has been absolutely brutal to us, and it has completely ruined my family’s financial state. My mother even had to put up our family house for sale. Unfortunately, a miracle didn’t happen, we didn’t win the lottery, our house did not get sold yet, and my mother’s work and health predicament did not at all improve. Therefore, we had to use this desparate strategy. Let me explain everything that is going on in great detail:

Since my early childhood it was my dream to become an actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. We were well aware that studying and living in Los Angeles was going to be more expensive than in Toronto. Nevertheless, my mom supported my dedication to acting and writing as well as my decision to go to Hollywood to study in the center of the industry. Our decision relied on the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) which we thought would completely cover all of the tuition and living expenses I would face during my time in Los Angeles. It was a huge disappointment to find out that while this financial assistance is available for Canadian students studying abroad, it only covers 25% of all of the tuition payments, and there is nothing left over to cover housing expenses and food. To avoid crushing my dream, my mom took a loan against the equity of our house to pay for tuition. To make matters worse, we had to rent an apartment as the dorms at my school were in poor condition. There were foul-smelling carpets which nearly caused my nose to run faster than my legs out of the rooms, the windows and the walls were broken to the point where I wondered if someone took out anger on them, and finally, the walls along the beds looked like they were painted by an eco-friendly modern Picasso who used mucus and feces as paint. The most insane part is that living in these conditions would have cost me $1200 per month. The rooms were so small to hold even two students, and it looked as if I would pretty much be paying just for a bed. Right before my first year started, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which made it dangerous for my health for me to be present in such spaces even for a little while. Taking all of this into consideration, and the fact that one of the dorms was actually closed down by the Los Angeles health authorities a year before this situation, my mom had to rent an apartment in an area close to the college and pay 14 months worth of rent and a damage deposit up front because, as Canadian citizens, we had no U.S. credit history and/or place of employment to show. We were not that disappointed because it made much more sense to take this option rather than pay $1200 just for a bed in a tiny and dirty room, especially since I planned to find myself a responsible roommate, and it would’ve cost each of us less than $1000 including utilities and internet to live in a spacious and clean one-bedroom apartment in a decent area within Hollywood. I was faced with yet another surprise as my attempt to get a roommate failed, since the superintendent informed me that it’s against the building’s company policy to have a roommate. Therefore, my mother ended up paying a much greater amount than she expected to pay for tuition and my accommodations. As I mentioned earlier, she covered 75% of my tuition costs and 14 months of my rent during my first year from taking a loan from our house equity. As for the second year, while she planned to take more money out of our house plus some savings to pay for my education and living expenses, I planned to make my own financial contributions by working at my campus which is only allowed after you reach your second year as a student. Unfortunately, all of these plans were shattered as well. Last year’s economical situation and the real estate market caused house prices to go down significantly to the point that there was not enough equity in our house for us to qualify for an equity loan. Prices for essentials (groceries and utilities) skyrocketed causing our savings to disappear. The situation became so bad and unmanageable that my mother had to put the house up for sale. The high interest rates made the mortgage payments impossible for my mother to handle.

I have tried countless times to apply for on-campus jobs at my school (which all pay minimum wage), but there were very few positions to choose from and I didn’t get the ones that I applied for. After failing to get a job at my school, I would’ve turned to job opportunities outside of my school to help me pay for college and for my overall survival in Los Angeles, except I couldn’t do that because I first have to submit multiple forms explaining how my financial situation has gotten worse in order to gain permission to work in America as a non-citizen. I had permission to work in my school since I was a student, and it didn’t matter that I was from a different country. However, finding a job outside of a college in America is not something I’m allowed to do at the moment since I have not yet filed for a work permit as a nonresident. What makes this issue more complicated is that I also have to pay a $410.00 fee to successfully file one of those required work permit forms. So now I’m in a situation where I don’t have money to pay for this application in the first place, but I still need to somehow do this for the sake of finding work in America. If I’m being perfectly honest, even if I found employment in America, the pay would most likely be very small, and I would have to dedicate a lot of hours to it which I don’t have since my school’s gruelling artistic program and subsequent homework assignments prevent me from having any sort of free time (even on weekends) to focus on some other important task.

To make at least some money, I have been taking advantage of scholarship opportunities that my school has told me about. I managed to get $1,000 from one of the contests, and I used it to pay for phone, internet, and elecricity bills, as well as other utilities and groceries. After all of that was taken care of, I was back to my original desperate financial situation.

In conclusion, I would like to once again emphasize that if I don’t gather the money to pay for my studies now, I will have to leave the college and the country altogether. The required amount I previously mentioned in the first paragraph is not the full amount required for the entire academic year. This is just to cover 30% of my tuition and 2 months of rent and groceries because my mother and I believe that our issues related to work load, health, and housing will soon be resolved.

While I have fallen on very hard times, I am not ashamed to admit that that is the case because I know that things like this happen to the best of us. I plan to become an artist in the fields of acting, directing, and screenwriting in the future, and that is why I look at problems like the one I am currently facing as nothing more than an instance of things becoming a lot worse before they get better. I would greatly appreciate any sort of donation from anyone kind enough to help me and my mother so that we can escape our inconvenient financial predicament and get to work on building better lives! By helping me out in this moment, you are not only doing a favor for a stranger, but you are also supporting that stranger’s journey to one day become something bigger than himself and to change the world of popular culture forever. I promise to return the favor to anyone who chooses to be generous towards me now by helping out other struggling actors and students in need the same way I was helped on this site!

Thank you very much for your assistance and generosity!

need your help for tuition to stay in school

Hello my name is Omar and I moved to Manitoba Canada with my family in 2020. I was fortunate to be awarded a full time scholarship to McGill university to study biological sciences.

I am currently in my second year pursuing a passion that I believe holds the key to making a positive impact on healthcare and the well-being of communities.

The full-time scholarship initially alleviated the financial strain associated with post-secondary education. However, unforeseen circumstances have disrupted this support, leaving me in a precarious situation. This sudden and unexpected change has left me anxious with the reality that the financial resources I once relied upon to cover tuition, textbooks, and living expenses are no longer available.

As a result, I am faced with the daunting challenge of ensuring I can continue my studies and fulfill my dream as I come from a single parent household and my mother is working two jobs and not able to support me at this time.

Your support can make a significant difference in preserving the continuity of my education. By contributing to my post-secondary tuition, you are not only investing in my academic journey but also supporting the development of a future healthcare professional who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

I understand that there are numerous worthy causes competing for your generosity, and I am genuinely grateful for your consideration. Your donation will not only help cover the immediate financial gap but also empower me to continue my education.

If you have any questions or would like more information about my situation, academic progress, or future aspirations, please feel free to reach out. Your kindness and support during this challenging time will not be forgotten, and I am committed to paying it forward in the future.

Thank you for considering my request, and I hope you will join me in ensuring that the dream of pharmacy education remains alive.

NURSING STUDENT IN NEED OF HELP PLEASE!

Hello,
My name is Teisha Jackson and I am a BSN nursing student at Monroe College in Bronx, NY. My passion to care for patients and provide quality care is what made me pursue nursing. I took out school loans which I was only approved for 75% of the tuition leaving me with a $1,735 balance. I honestly can’t come up with that at the moment as I am a single mother of a 16-year-old struggling with day-to-day life expenses. I have two more semesters and I am projected to finish in August 2024. If anyone is able to assist me please it would mean so much to me. I fear my classes will be dropped soon for an unpaid balance. Any amount of help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Teisha Jackson

AN URGENT PLEA TO HELP COMPLETE MY TUITION FEES

Dear Considerate Donor,

Good evening.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to ask for assistance in completing my tuition fee and also upkeep for me and my children while I study. I came into the United Kingdom in August 2023 to study for my postgraduate in hope that when I return to my country, I will find a better job that will enable me to be financial stable enough to take care of my children and aged parents.

Not only do I want to be financially stable, but I also want to make a global impact in my selected field of study which I have so much passion for. My journey to keep acquiring knowledge has been very interesting and rewarding though tough. Every bit of the way has been struggles, paying fees, registering for courses and certification, all while still trying to survive has really taken a toll on me all these years.

I have never imagined this is something I would be doing, but as I sit to write this note, I know now, that I am left with no choice at all. Though desperate, I am hopeful that something positive will come out of this plea.

I was so happy when I gained admission to come and study in the UK at the Henley Business School studying International Human Resource Management, I thought to myself “This is yet another opportunity for me to increase my knowledge and add value to the world” but that happiness was almost immediately replaced with a deep sense of sadness thinking about how to raise funds. Thankfully, good and generous relatives helped from the little they had, and I was able to pay almost half of the tuition plus flight ticket and accommodation for a short while.

Since I arrived, I have looked for work with no luck, and right now it is really getting tight. The balance of my tuition is due, and upkeep completely depleted. It is so hard focusing as I spend all my time looking for jobs everywhere just to sustain us (me and the children).

I am reaching out here for help. Help to complete my tuition fees and help for upkeep to sustain myself and the children for the duration of my study. My children are looking up to me, my aged parents as well, I do not want to fail them.

So, I am humbly begging:

  1. Help my complete the balance of my tuition fee – 11, ooo GBP.
  2. Assist with financial upkeep for basics like groceries, rent and bills pending when I get work.

I know there are a lot of people in my situation or even worse that are in need, but any assistance I receive here will change my life and the lives of those that are looking up to me (my children, aged parents and the world at large).

I really appreciate you reading my note.
