Being a single mother especially in today’s era can be extremely overwhelming. If you are one of those mothers who is doing it alone every day you know what I am talking about. It seems like the bills just continue to pile up and never end.

Researchers have said that just in 2015 year ending alone over 80 percent of the households in America that we’re single households we’re in fact ran by a FEMALE head of household which we’re mostly living very poor.

Many people may say well there is government assistance for them to get a grant but it’s hard to find and information regarding that said topic anywhere. So in hopes to help the single mothers out in the world this article will give you some insight on the different assistance topics we can cover including where and how to get a grant or scholarship. Also, you will read and see how simple it is to receive help with income expenses and medical insurance.

Are there really grants for a single mother?

Of course they do but these grants are not only for single mothers. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t help for a mother to receive one. I know its mind boggling that the government hasn’t had any means created for money for a single mother that is actually in the shape of a grant. One thing the government does for a single mother is they assist them through a group or have set sponsors through a company, and sometimes they are covered by the actual income assistance completely.

Below are a few websites that will redirect you to free items that you can get just for registering on the website.

Low Income Assistance for Single Mothers / Government Grants

As I said there is not an official grant for a single mother available that is FEDERAL. However a single mother can go through federal programs and register and sign up for them. Those kinds of programs are usually for households with low income. Which means you would also qualify for Welfare. No matter what the case these are programs to help those who make below the limit and live poorly.

Below are different types of assistance based in the United States.

TANF – TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES

TANF is a crucial for many low income families located within the US.

With TANF you receive a small amount of cash every month that you can use toward your food, rent, and other necessities. However you only receive TANF for up to 60 month limit.

If you are a single mother and you have children in your home who are less than 19 years old you are eligible for TANF.

SNAP – SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food-stamps or SNAP as other people may refer to is financial help for meals. You can receive money every month to place food on the table if you are on low or no income.

For most of Americans living in poverty SNAP is potentially the only assistance they can get.

Research has shown that in 2015 SNAP benefits have helped at least 45 million Americans. Most of the ones who receive the stamps are under are up to the age of 18.

When you go to use your benefits for SNAP you have your own personal debit card to ring your groceries up with at the register. If you are interested in trying to get on with SNAP benefits all you have to do is fill and application out and send it in or take it into a local office that deals with SNAP benefits.

NSLP – NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM

This is a program that gives free (or discounted) food to students whose parent’s income is bellow a poverty level. The income needs to be at least between 130-185 percent bellow the poverty line.

Most the time if a person is a receiver of SNAP benefits their children will be accepted into this program for free lunches. But, that doesn’t mean if you don’t have or receive SNAP that your children are disqualified.

You need to contact your child’s school to apply.

TEFAP – THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Food for the American families who are in the poverty range not matter what the age.

If you have received food stamps before or any other program assisting you and helping you such as the ones in this article you could also be approved for this program.

You will need to contact your State distribution agency to learn more about the Emergency food assistance program.

Local Food Banks

A food bank doesn’t exactly fit into the whole “Grant” program area as it is actually a location in your town where you can get food if you are in need.

Do not allow you or your family to go without food. If you ever reach that trouble you can call 211 and ask them where the nearest food bank is based on your location.

More then 200 food banks exist with the feeding america foundation and they supply enough food to feed over 40 million people.

WIC – WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN PROGRAM

This program includes a package deal where you as a mother are able to receive healthy foods, whether you are pregnant or a new mother, and also to children who are 5 or under.

WIC is a program that is temporary and only used for a short amount of time – usually between 6 to 12 months.

EARLY HEAD START / HEAD START

These programs are for children up to 5 years old.

You can receive free child’s medical and dental care along with their schooling, and dietary needs.

Find your closes headstart office on their website or call at 1-866-763-6481.

Insurance for unemployment

This is a special program which will pay you weekly if you are unemployed and it had nothing to do with you for you being fired or let go. You will only be able to receive this benefit for maximum 26 weeks. Different states have different benefit rules. But most states will average out at about 45% of whatever the average weekly income is.

Single mothers who are out of a job temporarily can find solace with these benefits and can help make the burden less for themselves because this pay will restore what you have lost from losing your work.

If you want to try and get this started and opened for you, you will have to find your local unemployment office or apply on the website for this specific program. Most states will allow you to also try to sign up for this over the phone.

Section 8 housing

Section 8 is basically a program that helps a family be able to pay for their housing. If approved you will receive a voucher of up to 70 percent of your bills (utilities and rent). You are expected to pay the other 30 percent.

If you want to apply and feel you qualify you can get in touch with your local office involved with public housing, the HUD office.

CCAP – CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

This is a benefit for families who can’t afford to place their children in daycare while working.

You still have to pay a certain percentage but it isn’t a big lump of money. The less you earn, the less you need to contribute.

EITC – Earned Income Tax Credit

It is a tax benefit for people with low income. You could potentially get as much as $6,000.

If you normally have a tax rate of $1050 but you are allowed $5550 then you get refund of $4500.

There is a Children’s Tax Credit too for as much as $1,000 for EACH child.

LIHEAP – LOW INCOME HOME ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

LIHEAP is a program that is a one time help to help pay for heating / cooling expenses.

Most of the time this is for the disabled or families with children or disabled person in the home.

If you need any extra information regarding this topic you can get in touch through the number 1-866-674-6327 or a local number for your local LIHEAP office.

WAP – WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Weatherization assistance program lowers energy bills for families in need. Usually the elderly and families involving children are accepted and put to the top of the list before all.

Your monthly income need to be below 200 percent poverty level.

To apply, find a local WAP center.

Medicaid

Medicaid is help with medical expenses. If you do not have health insurance this gives you certain benefits as long as your income restriction meets the level it should.

A lot of single mothers may meet the standards to be recipients of Medicaid even if you are unemployed.

Every state has different rules about Medicaid plans. You can find out exact requirements on this website.

Together with ObamaCare it ensures that even single mothers who didn’t receive any health benefits will now be able to have coverage.

CHIP – CHILDREN HEALTH INSURANCE

CHIP gives children without health insurance a chance to have health benefits all the way up until they are nineteen. It is for families whose income is too high to receive Medicaid benefits.

It provides every type of benefit you can think of — dental, eye exams, and even annual doctor’s exams.

Every state has its own rules. If you would like to learn a little more about this specific benefit you can call 1-877 Kids now (1-877-543-7669)

Federal Pell Grants

Aid program for students of up to $5,815 for those in need to be able to set foot into college.

This is the best opportunity for a mother who is single to finally be able to finish her schooling and finally continue in the workforce. The money is completely free of charge with no interest rates or paybacks ever.

You need to fill out an application and submit it for a pell grant and have it turned in on or before June 30th of every year.

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant

Similar to the Pell Grant. If you already have had pell grants and you are at the top of the charts in need you will be first on the list to receive this. Depending on a persons needs that are wrapped in with their financial struggle will ultimately decide who will receive anywhere between $100 too $4,000 annually.

Charities

Charities can be a way to seek help for you and your children whether you are in need of food or clothing or even housing. A lot of charities around the world actually have their own food banks that they run and they will give you bags of free food.

If you go to salvation army a lot of the times they will let you sleep there if you have no where else to go especially if it is a result of violence.

Churches

Most churches will offer you food and clothes or maybe even a place to stay if you have been recently kicked out by the one you are living with.

To find information on this you should look through your phone books local listing or yellow page. You can also research online and see what churches are available to your area and call them and ask what services they do offer.

Loans

Single moms can receive loans usually relatively quickly but I would not recommended that at all. You could potentially go into debt and not be able to rise back from that.

Sometimes you have no choice because you have to fix your broken car or maybe pay for utilities and food and need the help right then. But you have to be able to pay that loan realistically quick.

Pay attention to your credit because if you try to get a loan through a bank or anyone they will check your credit score and see if it is even available to be able to place a loan out to you. If it is a loan that is for payday loans or credit card advances they will not run a check but you will end up paying more after fees and costs.

Line of Credit

If your credit is decent some people ask a bank for a loan personally. Most of the time this is a better idea then asking for a payday loan because if you need quick money with lower rates of interest this is it.

Personal Loans

On a personal loan interest is lower dramatically but you have to pay in instalments. It doesn’t really fit criteria for an emergency. Normally if you just tell them you do not have any more funds and that is why you need this they will turn you away. If your credit is poor you will not be able to even touch this offer.

Short term (payday) loans

This is a very popular type of loan. You may know it by the term “Cash advance.” The interest runs really high on these and it is a loan that is only for a small time frame.

This is a loan that would more then likely be considered if a problem arises and you needed to repair your car or had a disastrous dental emergency. You have to know for sure you will be able to give every penny back.

If you do not pay this type of loan back you could be in loads of trouble financially.

Credit card cash advance

Do you own a credit card? If so you will be able to get money from a bank as easy as 1, 2, 3. This is not a method that is highly praised though because as soon as you start taking money out of the bank the interest keeps rising and you also are charged for using and pulling out of the bank a fee. This is potentially the easier options if you do need cash asap but you have to pay it back and make sure you absolutely can.

When it is all said and done grants will not solve your money issues within your home if that is what you expect. To get a grant is definitely not easy it isn’t a walk in the park by any means.

If you are looking to get a more stable source of financially being stable you should probably look in areas around you or find a women shelter until you can get back up on your feet.

If you think you have all the time in the world you can apply for other areas of assistance such as Food stamps, HUD, and etc. They do take a lot of time and effort for someone to get back with you and let you know if you have been accepted and enrolled. Try finding a part time working job as a way to financially start becoming stable again.

The moral of this is you can not expect a grant to fall into your hands without effort and take all your worries away. They are only here too do one thing and that doesn’t usually fix anything with your financial setting.

This is all on you and what you decide, no one else can decide for you.

I just want us to be ok…

Thank you for reading this.

My name is Alicia and I am a lucky mommy to 2 beautiful boys. The 2 beautiful boys I speak about came with some unfortunate circumstances. Thank God it was me because I was strong enough to handle the ups and downs and the struggle that came with thia circumstances. Now that the hardest parts are over, medically, I’m finding it hard to make it financially.

My first born, James, was born at 1 pound 7 oz at just 24 weeks. His eyes were still fused shut for about 3 weeks after he was born (just to give an idea of how premature he was). We had a 5 month NICU stay in Indianapolis, IN before I was able to take him home. I stayed everyday, which I credit to him being so strong and healthy now. No long term complications, no defects, no surgeries. He truly is a miracle.

My second born, Jaxon, was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome or HLHS. His first open heart surgery was when he was 4 days old. His second when he was 6 months old and his very last one just a few months ago. The total of PICU stays add up to 6 minths. He’s the strongest, toughest, and most independent little babes you’ve ever met.

With the worst of it in the past, I’m finding it hard to provide and give my children the necessities. Let alone, anything extra. I went into debt and used up all options while unable to work so I could be with my kids. I can only afford rent and utilities and some groceries. I’m in debt and feel like there’s no way out.

I’m asking for anything because anything would help. We didn’t fight so hard for life just to barely live. If someone is interested in total debt, my total debt is around 65,000.  I would be happy with just $300 to get me to and from Thanksgiving next week with family. I would be happy with just enough for dinner tonight.

Thanks for reading. I’m not good with asking for help or handouts but I figured I would give it a shot. I really just want us to be ok.

Single mom left violent home; trying to stay out of a shelter with my daughter for Christmas, possibly through March

Hello,

I am writing to ask for help staying out of a shelter for Christmas, and possibly through March.  I’ve found a wonderful long term stay apartment for traveling nurses that is willing to let me daughter and I stay here through the winter, until March 22nd.

I’ve maxed my credit cards and spent my savings trying to keep them open.  We’ve been in 4 different places, until we found this small, furnished apartment.  I am able to cook meals and have a clean bed to sleep in.  The area of the city is also very safe.  I am down to $500 that I need for food.  I am nervous to apply for assistance as our family was financially stable.  I’m also scared of being found by my ex or someone in the “family.”  My daughter is 11 years old.  We chose to homeschool, simply because I have a M.Ed and we live in a major city where public schools are severely underfunded and don’t have a school nurse on a daily basis.  Now, sending her to school will only help her father find us.  I am seeking legal assistance with custody, filing a PFA, although it took an hour for police to arrive when he was punching me in the head and strangling me.  My daughter calling 911 only turned his attention to her.  I don’t have much hope in our city’s police.  A piece of paper isn’t going to stop my ex.  The minute he finds me, it’s all over and they couldn’t possibly arrive in time to save my life.

I left her father after 18 years together.  He slowly slipped into a depressed state during the pandemic and while emotional and financial abuse were always present, it wasn’t until this past summer that things really escalated.  It turned physically violent in September.  We were able to leave with the clothes we were wearing.

He is looking for us and is making threats on my life.  We are safe in this situation, as it isn’t a lease but a long term booking.  Unfortunately, it costs $2500k/mo but all utilities including high speed internet are included.  I am looking for online and remote work so that my daughter can continue homeschooling and taking supplemental courses through Outschool.  Those classes are $85/week.

I am looking for help with the monthly charge for December, January, February and March.  That totals $10,000.  If at all possible and if it’s not too much to ask, I need help with my daughter’s classes.  She was looking forward to a trip to NYC to see the Rockettes and have dinner at the Stardust Diner but I don’t have access to our car anymore or extra money for such a trip.  A snow globe from the Rockettes would be nice.  She loves snow globes.  She understands that I can’t tip Santa this year, so there won’t be gifts but as she still wants to hold on to the magic of Christmas.  She’s hoping there will be something from Santa and I have let her down so much already.  I didn’t know I couldn’t leave the state.  I thought we could stay with a relative and be safe on the other coast, in a small town.  However, custody laws here say that unless I have full custody, I will be arrested for kidnapping if I take our daughter out of the state.

We’re both on waiting lists for therapy through organizations in our city.  I’m also seeking legal assistance for custody so that we can leave the state.  Until I have full custody, we can’t go anywhere cheaper and far enough away to be safe.

My ex is born and raised in this city.  His “family” reaches far and wide.  They have kept me in fear for too long.  I am well educated and am finally out of that prison.  Student loans aside, I can make a life for us.  I just need some help getting on my feet, finding healing for both of us and getting the resources we need to move on.

Thanks so much for reading this.  Anything you can donate is so greatly appreciated.  I didn’t know anything like this existed.  I’ve only heard how everyone is out to get me for the past 18 years.  That’s wrong!  My daughter and I have been out of that house since early September and there are kind people.  From the girl at the first hotel we stayed in, who brought us food on her day off, to the organization of traveling nurses that is allowing us to stay in one of their housing units, even though I am not a nurse.  There are good people and I am so grateful to each and every one of them.

It is humbling to need this much help.  I thought I would be in a very different place in life by now.  I studied hard, I had a good job and I got involved with the wrong man.  Slowly, he isolated me from everyone. He threatened anyone who tried to help me.  He told lies about my step-father that cost my mom her job where she was the church secretary for almost 2 decades!  I don’t blame her for never wanting to talk to me again.

Our daughter is amazing and she is meant to be here.  She has heard that she’s a mistake from her father.  Her father’s mother told her she should’ve been aborted.  Her uncle just changed the password on her Animal Crossing island.  An island that she’s spent 4 years playing on and enjoys one online class on Fridays for socializing.

She has lost so much but we are gaining a happier, healthier life, even if we do end up in a shelter. This journey is helping us grow, find gratitude every day and become stronger.
I appreciate any donation and if you can’t donate but can add us to your thoughts, I appreciate that, too.  If you are someone who prays, please pray for us.  I lost my faith but I am finding it again.

Breaking the Chains: A Single Mother’s Journey to Financial Freedom

The need for financial assistance is a pressing reality for many individuals, and my personal  situation is a testament to the challenges that life can present.

My journey as a driven, hardworking, and responsible individual who took the courageous step of returning to college as a non-traditional student while simultaneously raising a son as a single mother, speaks volumes about my determination and resilience.

The financial strain I am currently experiencing is a result of various factors, including the consistent fluctuations in interest rates and prices that have impacted my existing student loans, credit card debt, and other financial obligations. The burden of managing these debts has led me to explore options like debt consolidation, only to face repeated denials.

This situation has left me with limited choices, and I am now contemplating selling my home to alleviate the financial pressure and avoid the looming threat of foreclosure.

My pursuit of education and the responsibilities of parenthood, have undoubtedly stretched my financial resources. Student loans, which are often seen as an investment in one’s future, have become a substantial part of the financial burden I am currently carrying. The accumulation of credit card debt, compounded by rising gas prices and other everyday expenses, has created a financial web that seems challenging to escape.

My combined debt amount and the total amount needed to finally be 100% debt free, is $250,000. The $250,000 I am seeking, reflects the comprehensive nature of my financial challenges, encompassing student loans, credit card debt, personal loans, a car loan, and a mortgage. This amount represents not just a desire for financial stability but a sincere effort to break free from the cycle of debt that has become an overwhelming aspect of my life.

It is evident that my goal is not merely about convenience or luxury but a genuine yearning for financial freedom. Every paycheck, instead of being a source of relief and progress, is currently dedicated to servicing high-interest debts, leaving me with no disposable income to invest in my future or cover unexpected expenses.  I have also exhausted the 401k I once had.

The consideration of selling my home, a significant step that reflects the depth of my financial struggles, is driven by a desire to take control of my financial destiny rather than succumbing to the dire consequences of foreclosure. This decision underscores my commitment to overcoming financial challenges, even if it involves making difficult choices.

In conclusion, my need for $250,000 is not a frivolous request but a plea for the opportunity to regain control over my financial well-being. It is a call for support as I strive to break free from the shackles of debt, secure a stable future for myself and my son, and achieve the financial freedom that has been elusive for too long.

Thank you in advance. I look forward to finally building a savings account and no longer being stressed out and depressed. I am a working class woman who just needs a hand up.

Single Mom of Two Faces Job Loss: Struggling to Make Ends Meet

Hello,

My car got stolen along with my 2 kids’ car seats on 11/2/2023. I found myself in a difficult situation because it’s just me and my two kids and I had no way to take them to daycare so I could make it to work.

I didn’t have enough vacation to cover a week off so I had put in an emergency leave of absence because I didn’t have anyone to watch my kids at home while I work and I have no car seats to take them to daycare. My job denied my requests and said that transportation issues don’t fall under leave of absence requests and that I had to use my time. This back and forth put me in the negative with my time off work and so I made the decision to resign so that I’d be able to come back if anything.

Presently, I’m behind on a few bills and groceries are running out. I’m so scared and saddened by all of this. My insurance has covered a rental for me and I have claimed their car seats but I have to wait until all that is worked out to receive reimbursement for it.

I don’t even know if I’ll be able to afford my car and all my other bills once this is all done with because right now I’m jobless and currently looking online and locally. I keep thinking how will I afford to pay daycare to start a new job because I have no money. With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, I don’t know how I’m going to make it.

I would appreciate anything and I’m so blessed to have found a site like this. Thanks for reading my story.

Just a mom doing my best to raise good people

Hi. Thank you to anyone reading and considering helping. Single mom of 2 doing all I can to keep up with bills while loving my kids and raising people who will make a positive impact on those around them. Pouring all of myself into running a household and raising kids has now left me no paper trail of work experience and not enough education to make something of it. I’m taking on both jobs of provider and caretaker, it’s impossible right now. With no help from their father I’m left financially and emotionally burdend. Absolutely heartbreaking when you are doing all you can and there is just no end in sight. Heartbreaking to meet every opportunity with hope and just realizing there may actually be no way out of a situation without help and no one to turn to for help. I’m the sort of mom that teaches my kids to hold doors and sit with lonely kids for lunch. The kind of mom that teaches kindness and tries to lead by example. It saddens me that my lack of finances is effecting the quality of life my kids have. If anyone out there is willing to help it would make a world of a difference in a difficult time for a woman doing her best and 2 kids in a situation that is no fault of their own. The help would go to my car repairs, balding tires, and my payments which are almost at repo status. Then things my kids need, winter clothing and shoes. If you’ve gotten this far thank you for reading. If nothing more, this is at least off of my chest and maybe someone else will see it and not feel so alone in their own struggles. ‘Hold the door for who’s next in line.’

Single Mom Crying Out- Funding for bills, car and home PLEASE READ

My name is Sharon M. I’m 43 years old and I have 3 sons. I’m requesting funding for bills or towards a vehicle and a home. I am a Entrepreneur (Jewelry designer) and I do multiple side gigs delivering groceries and packages to stay afloat. In 2020 I was rear ended (on my birthday of all days!) and my car was totaled and I was injured (neck and lower back). Me and my children currently are living with my elderly parents (79 & 78) and I have been using their vehicle to do deliveries. I lost my home some years back because my fiancé cheated and left me with the children and the bills and I couldn’t hold it all up by myself. My parents graciously stepped in and helped by letting us move in.
I found out this year that my dad has cancer and my mother has had multiple health problems for years. I transport my parents to their doctors appts and to the hospitals when their health is failing. Assisting my parents takes away from me being able to work which has hit me hard financially. I also transport my nieces to work and school while being a mom. I have fallen behind in several of my bills and I leaned on my credit cards and now they are over the limit. I help everyone but now I need help. I feel like I’m drowning and I need some hope/help. I want my sons to see me on my feet. If you read this, please consider. Whatever you can do. My bills are around $3000+, but I need a car too. Anything would be appreciated! Giving thanks, Sharon M.

Mom w/ autistic daughter 🙏

Hi.
Im a single mom to a beautiful, completely non-verbal autistic 11 year old girl. Non-verbal autism is the most challenging thing life has thrown at us. And there was a lot thrown at us for 11 years!
Because Lily has no words, this means she cannot associate any words having any meaning. For example, she still hasn’t been able to be potty trained at 11. She’s still in diapers. She has also developed a new tic where she punches herself repeatedly (sometimes for hours on end!) in the face and she ends up covered in bruises! Because she is doing this and can’t TELL anyone why, I end up having to stay home from work to keep her home with me on her “bad” days because the school says it’s (understandably) too disruptive to the other students. So not only am I scared for her and worried about her being in pain physically and mentally and wishing I could find a way to help her so she doesn’t do this, but now I miss work fairly often from this and we have fallen far behind on bills and rent. My dream is to be able to take her to a specialist that can hopefully give some much needed insight as to why it’s happening and how to help her through it. But our insurance doesn’t cover the kind of specialist she needs.
I am asking and begging really, on behalf of Lily and myself, for financial help during this incredibly hard time. It’s so hard to do but Lily and I are desperate. At this time we would need about $575.00 to cover the down payment at the specialist and the travel expenses to get there since we live in a rural area without immediate access to the unique psychological help Lily needs. ANY help would be a godsend. As of right now im lucky enough that my landlord has been very sympathetic and understanding of our situation but he won’t be able to let us stay there for free for long. He’s given me an extension so that I can try to get Lily help before I have to pay him so I have until January first. If im able to get Lily feeling better she can go back to school so I can go back to work.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my long winded account of our situation. And even if you aren’t able to help us at all, thank you for being open and giving enough to consider it. In our book, you are all guardian angels.

My PayPal is PayPal.me/wins69

We need your support , Single mother of 2

My name is Judy, and I am 31 years old. I live in Manassas Virginia. I have 2 boys ages 14 and 12. I have a full-time job but lately I can’t catch a break. I recently lost my car due to financial issues. It was hard and emotional to tell my kids what happened with the car when they seen it got repossessed. My kids are so strong and understanding they said mom it will get better. My kids are at that age where they are starting to care about what type of clothes or brands of shoes they like and want. I heard about this page a while ago but was always too embarrassed to admit that I am Broke. I need help, your help. I just want to give my kids the world and Christmas is around the corner. I appreciate you of taking the time out of your day to read my situation. May God Bless you and your family. My phone number is 571-487-3621 if you want to reach out. Have a great day and Happy Holidays.

Single mother of 3.

Looking for anyone to help!
I am looking for some help with finances.
I am a 22 year old single mom and I have 3 kids and 2 are twins who were just born.
I need help to supply them with diapers wipes, clothes for the winter and for their medicine’s since they have not been able to receive medical coverage yet.
I am taking a leave from work to care for them and they do not offer maternity leave. I had to leave earlier than planned due to medical issues and I have applied to hundreds of online jobs but nobody has gotten back to me for months or have denied me the job.
We currently are just getting by to be able to stay in our home. It has been so very hard to just keep food on the table and get around with the basic day to day necessities of living.
I feel helpless not being able to provide them with what they need and now that it is getting colder out and the holidays are around the corner it is making it so much harder to push through these next couple of
months.
If anyone could please help donate that would be so greatly appreciated.
My Cash app is $NNC0316

Fallen on hard times

Hi,I’m a 39yr old single mum my husband passed on in 2011. I recently lost my job in July because my work permit had expired. I’m a Zimbabwean and i was working in South Africa. I applied for another work permit last year in April and I’m still waiting for it to be processed.
Losing my job has made life very difficult for me and my two kids. I’m struggling to put food on the table and pay rent. To make matters worse my son is going to high school next year he needs uniforms and fees. At the moment I’m unemployed and efforts I made  in finding another job are all in vain. It’s not easy to find a job without a work permit in South Africa. I have resorted to selling fresh chips and russian sausages but I don’t make much since people don’t have money, SA’s economy is fast deteriorating. Going back to my home country- Zimbabwe is just not an option because there are no jobs there and the unemployment rate is 80% as a result most graduates are just sitting at home.
I need help with my son’s education who is going to high school next year. Any kind of assistance or any amount of money will be very much appreciated.

DISABLED MOTHER WITH TWINS SICK WITH CANCER AND OTHER HEALTH ISSUES

Hello, I’m a disabled single mother with cancer raising twin boys on my own. I have breast cancer and have been battling it for the last 3 years and still fighting. I also have multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, had 2 strokes, a huge hole in my heart that may require surgery, I have vertigo that is caused by having to much cerebral fluid on my brain and may need a shunt surgically placed, my kidneys are not working properly nor is my bladder. My doctors found spots in my colon and on my brain and very concerned my cancer may have spread. I receive social security disability which don’t amount to much especially when raising 2 children on your own with no help or child support from their abusive father. I receive food stamps but only $156 per month and we have barely any good and my children are hungry. My children have very little clothes to wear because they have grown out of everything. They have 1 pair of shoes to wear but are falling apart. They have no winter coats to wear and it’s getting very cold outside. My vehicle needs new brakes, tires, and needs inspected so I can get to my doctor appointments and chemotherapy treatments and where we live I have to drive over 2 mountains to get to the town where all my appointments are at and it takes a little over an hour just to get there and my vehicle is not safe to drive that far in it’s condition. Due to my health my children have not gotten 1 Xmas gift in 3 yrs let alone a birthday gift and their birthday is on November 22nd. I am behind on my utility bill and don’t have the money for my car insurance or internet bill this month and I need internet because my children go to an online charter school so they can be home to help me because I am very sick at times after getting chemotherapy. I have applied for multiple grants and different help and have been denied by them all. I use to be a nurse and love caring for and helping the less fortunate and now that I’m in that situation no one is there to help me and my family. I have no family or support and both my parents have passed away. I don’t know what the new year is gonna bring or what condition I will be in or how long I will be around. I am not one to ask for help and hate doing so, but for the sake of my children I need help and I would love to give them a nice birthday and Xmas this year because it may be my last one with them because of my health. If anyone can help me with the money I need to put food in my kids belly’s, clothing on their backs, and get to my appointments and treatments to keep fighting so my children don’t lose their mother and have a nice Xmas it will be so greatly appreciated and I PROMISE TO NEVER STOP FIGHTING… thank you for taking the time to read and God Bless everyone!!!

HELP ME, I Feel Desperate …

I’m a woman, single-parent mom, who’s been through a lot, most of it hard, and yet I had to beat them.

I managed to survive a rape, a dangerous beating at the same time, that in my struggle to survive, to come back and not to deny my life, I was also the victim of serious medical mistakes.
In surgery I was slaughtered gynecologically, I was in danger of dying in the operating room, and after I managed to survive, I had to live with many accompanying medical health problems, which led me to have from the age of 37 years inability to become a mother again, severe osteoporosis to the extent that I lost many times my bone density from the spine with the danger of permanent disability, and a little later I began to face serious problems of autoimmune diseases, these monsters that eat my body, life and mind.
The first autoimmune disease from distress was Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, a devastating disease that affects many organs, since it essentially mimics other diseases.
After some time, not only did I not get well, but the autoimmune increased, I also acquired Fibromyalgia, and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Both of these diseases affect muscles, tendons, nerves, bones, all tissues, all organs. I ended up being examined in University Hospitals, where they gave me the corresponding diagnoses, but they left me untreated, suffering from the pains and very often not being able to support my neck and body, being necessarily bedridden.

I live every moment of my life with excruciating pains all over my body, with pains that drive you crazy and no one understands them. And no one would stand them.

The diseases I mentioned aren’t the only health problems I’m dealing with. I have a spinal tumor and I don’t have the money to do the travel, the necessary health tests, and the treatment of the tumor with radiotherapy. I don’t know how it’s turned out. Also, I have automatic spinal fractures due to osteoporosis. Once, it was necessary to have spinal surgery and I was asked for 25000€, which I still need, I never had the surgery, of course.
I have stopped going to any doctor for some time, I don’t have a picture of my health anymore, because I don’t have the money to see if and how long I will live.

Of course,
My marriage is broken, too. But I had , fortunately, a little child, a precious girl, a few years before I lost my ability to be a mother again, at the hands of doctors, and before I lost another child.

This little child, my daughter, did not grow up on the offer of both her parents. My daughter did not see her father near her, she did not grow up from his financial help, she only experienced deprivation, financial, emotional and moral.

I fought and I’m still fighting to raise her. Now she is 17 years old, I have to find the money to help her study, get through to university and already it is all very difficult.
At the moment, only my daughter’s tutoring classes cost 600€ every month for the preparation of the Panhellenic Exams, I often don’t have to give her a single euro anymore, I can’t pay for these tutoring classes, I can’t help her to study, I can’t even take her to the doctor, i can’t help her to grow up, because I have NOTHING.

I was an educator for 18 years, but when I got sick and struggled for many years, a year and a half ago I had to quit my job, because the diseases I mention to you, especially Fibromyalgia, makes you unable to bear the voices of children, because the pain gets worse.
Then I tried to work a lot of jobs , I tried a lot, but that I can’t stand standing, or that I can’t stand the pain, has always been a serious problem, which leaves me out of work.
I have months where I don’t even have 10 euros , they are hosting us, I feel ashamed because we will have to leave here anymore. I have borrowed a lot of money that I cannot repay, and that is to learn to offer a service , to attend some seminars, so that I can work. However, I did not manage to finish them, because they are all very expensive, and I have no right to “study” myself when my child should be studying.
I am very ill, and when you see me, I only smile. I don’t know if I’ll be okay for a long time.,
but I have so many needs, I have so many needs to satisfy, to raise the child, to find money for tutoring classes, then for her studies, for my own doctors, for medicines, for medical tests that I have to undergo constantly, to pay back what I borrowed, to help my parents who have serious health problems…even to eat something.

I never imagined that I would come to the point of begging for help from some people whose magnanimity might allow them to offer me financial assistance.
I always said ” Don’t give up! Not now!”
And this ” now ” is full of moments when I didn’t give up. But I’m on the edge, abandoned by everyone.
Please, if you please, help!
I wouldn’t want to get help with any quid pro quo, please, it’s not what I can offer.
I need a lot of financial help, it’s all I can ask for, even now!
Thank you for reading me, thank you that if you can, you will help us, as if you were angels!
I’ll never forget it. Because you’re going to help a little kid who is dealing with so much financial and moral deprivation, and then help me!

For anyone who can offer, I give you my PayPal account, along with my gratitude!

My debts already reach many thousands of euros and I do not have the mental strength to ask you for a specific amount, I feel ashamed! However, the more money raised, the better we will live, but even if I do not live long, I will go away in peace for the help in my child’s life.

Single mother loves her children and needs urgent help.

Hi there and thank you so much for clicking on this post. I am a single mother of 2 boys and need help. We recently lost our house, rental, car and our belongings all withing a week and need more help then ever.  Unfortunately while this is all going on I am dealing with court matter issues for my 2 sons and my jobs have been impacted and the income is not as great as it was before. The lawyers has cost me over $30k so far and still need more. My older son was kidnapped which took $20k and another case open for custody which costs another $5k. Currently while this case is opened the younger’s son decides to file full custody too which is unfair as I have taken care of my son for many years all by myself as a single mother. Now I am in need of about $7k-$10k. I am in need of a car as well as the car accident got totaled in the rain. Please I ask God that he can take everything away but please not my children, I love them sooo sooo very much at the bottom of my heart and want to be a mother to them, to be there for them, to nuture and care. We are trying to leave the states near my family but with all this court going on , it is making it impossible. As embarass as I am to ask this and to be going through this with my children. I kindly ask and beg for you to please help me and my children out as we are in need of financial support and would really appreciate it if you could help in some way. I want to thank you again for taking the time to read this and that may God bless you too in some way and that he blesses your loving heart to even consider my prayer and proposal or to even have a thought of helping anyone or others out there. Thank you and have a wonderful and blessed day. I am forever thankful for your kindness. Best Regards,  our family <3

Peace without Justice

I am seeking donations toward the purchase of a new vehicle. Despite working hard to pay off, maintain and OWN my vehicle, my family has experienced a hate crime. Serpents were placed into the engine compartment, in the seats, and undercarriage of my family’s main mode of transportation. Despite having reported these incidents to law enforcement or seeking professional assistance to remove the serpents, I have been ridiculed, laughed at, and ultimately written off.

My concern grows, as I have lived without fear and continued to drive my vehicle in an effort to be the breadwinner for my family; however, for the safety of my children, I know that I must replace my vehicle after 9 years. The serpents are growing, as is my concern that the animals will eventually eat through the inner layers of carpeting, seat cushions etc. and will eventually break through the interiors before I am able to earn the funds to replace my vehicle.

The original purchase of my vehicle was for the safety and security of transportation for my children, and I always considered my purchase as “My Children’s Vehicle”. With the current state of economics, I am barely able to afford our expenses, and acting in humility to seek a newer mode of transportation. I would be most grateful should there be an individual that can assist our family with the funds we need to upgrade our mode of transportation.

Thank you in advance.
