My name is Chris and I am here reluctantly asking for assistance. As a father of 2 beautiful boys and a husband to an amazing wife I find myself in dire straights due to recently being released from my corp. job after being employed for 3 years. I really enjoyed my job and was great at it, but find myself in a foreign space after being let go due to policy change based on my remote location. When I was originally hired it was for remote work and my location was not an issue. After the policy changed it affected anyone not within range of a handful of onsite locations for the company scattered all over the US. In my case the nearest point is over 7 hours from home so without being able to relocate I was let go.

I’m here for support for my family. I love my sons and my wife dearly and want nothing more than to provide for them while I navigate the job market in order to reestablish financial foundation and stability for my home. I have attempted the unemployment route along with applying for many jobs within the last month. I am no stranger to working as I have been employed in some way shape or form since the age of 14. As a man now at the age of 38 my family is my world, my peace, my happiness. Just the thought of not being able to support them hurts me deeply.

We currently have a roof over our heads and food in the fridge, but as I am burning through what is left of my 401k while I scour the job market attempting to find someone that will hire me, I am just asking for your assistance. Anything you are able to donate to help me keep the lights on and by babies fed until I secure a new job. My sons are 3 and 9 months and are the light bringers of my universe. Every moment with them keeps my sanity in these times we are in. My wife is amazing as well taking care of the boys and our home. I want nothing more than to keep floating above water long enough for me to continue to interview and/or obtain further education and training from an educational institution.

Hello. I have been in an abusive relationship for 24 years now and I cannot do it for 1 more day. I have 2 grown children that I had at the so very young age of 15. Hi my husband and I are in our 50,s we have both worked since we were 16. Even when covid hit I worked as my position was considered essential. My good friend passed away and I inherited his beloved Afghan Hound Tezzie.

Unfortunately he is in Florida and I am in Seattle.

Ace fell in love with my first Afghan Hound many years ago and finally found his precious Tezzie.

I’m asking for funds to transport him to me as I am on a fixed income.

His landlord wants everything out of his home in one week.

My uncle has agreed to pick him up and put him on Alaska airlines for me.

My car has been recently, (night of 11/06/23) side swiped by a vehicle that did not stop (hit & run). There is no police report, due to the fact, that the towed-truck arrived first. The next day, I contacted my insurance and made a claim. They suggested, a body shop, (John’s Auto Body) that had overpriced my insurance over $6000 for just a front and rear minor dent also rub rims. (pictures are available) The body shop had, NO need or permission to work on or touch the engine. After two weeks of not hearing from the body shop. I showed up unexpectedly, to find parts of my engine outside of the car, (air intake, spark plug coil pack removed). This was my first red flag. The owner of the body shop said he could not start the car, also that he flooded it, which is impossible, when you have to step on the brake, to start the car. Also, I inform him, when I dropped it off, he will need to charge the battery. After, I left that day I contacted my insurance agent. He said there’s nothing he can do at this point. At that moment, I was very livid. The next day the body shop took my car, without my permission, to an auto shop, to see if they can fix it. Suddenly my car needs an engine. As of 11/11/23, I have been renting a car it is now 03/02/24 and I am still in the rental car. I’ve had to rent a U-Haul with trailer, to towe my car myself, 2-1/2 hours from my home, to where I purchased my car, for proper repair. They clearly stated the engine is blown. I am the second owner of my car, I have saved up for a long to have my car, an this crocket body shop, has put me in so much debt, an on the verge of losing my dream car and sanity, due to their negligence. Now, every week I am paying over $200 on the rental car. On top of all my other bills. Each week I get paid, my account is in the negative, not to mention, the overdraft fee’s, every week since. It’s getting hard to feed myself, so I can just get to work. The dealer said, the engine may cost up to $10,000. I am so hurt from this situation. I don’t have family to help me. I built my own life and now I am suffering because of some crooks. My job has no overtime and now, they stopped weekends, so no time an a half. I have been searching for second job just to stay above water. My point, I need help. With my engine repair and hiring a good attorney. Hello I’m a single female that is homeless. I have just recently received a housing voucher. But with no job due to being homeless from hurricane Ida. I’m having a issue with coming up with the deposit of 1200.00. And having the electricity turn on because of a outstanding bill of 1057.00 that I came back to after being displaced for 8 months from the hurricane. The first week of me being evacuated I was held against my will in my hotel room by someone whom I had dated for a short time. He strangled me for hours letting go for a few seconds at a time to get a few short breaths. I  managed to get out of the room a few feet to make some noise then he pulled me back in.  While he locked up the door again I took the phone off the hook and pressed 0 for the front desk and went the other way so I wouldn’t draw attention to the phone. Every time I said help to Loud he would tighten his grip around my Neck. Someone did hear me I don’t know when but they did and called the police.  It seemed like forever but when I heard that knock on the door and he opened it up and I heard the officer all I could do is scream help!!! Heis now doing only 5 years and that’s after he escaped from jail. It took about a year or so for them to find him although they really wasn’t looking for him. I  stayed at another hotel until fema ran out and haven’t had a job, car, or home since. I’m also trying to get a car and need help with that deposit for that and the insurance for it so that I can get a job and try to get my life back. I can’t get a loan because my credit went down the drain since this happened. I had mental health issues before and even more so now. I’ve been denied disability.
