Emergency Help Is Needed For Health & Hardship

Hello beautiful people!

I am Jim C.

The last corporation I worked for since 2009, laid me off, 1 month before I turned 62 years old in November 2023.

I was able to collect unemployment until May 2024.

Since I have always been a contractor until January 2020, I have not had a 401k.

I have applied to over 700 job opportunities and only had 5 interviews, but no job offers.

I live in Houston (East Spring Branch).

I survived the Tornado in May 2024, lost all of my food in the Deep Freezer & Refrigerator, thousands of dollars of beef, turkey & chicken.  I struggled during the 8 days without power & 14 days without the internet.  I was only able to get 2 weeks of food after the Disaster.

Then a few weeks ago, I suffered through a hurricane.  8 days without power, again and lost what little food I had in the Refrigerator.

I have suffered from heat exhaustion twice, plus I have a plethora of health issues:

Diabetes

High Blood Pressure

Neuropathy

Sleep Apnea

Hepatitis C

Crohn’s Disease

Kidney Disease

Severe Dehydration

Anemia.

I currently have no money and a bank balance of-38.72.

I have not been able to pay July Rent ($ 1,725) or August Rent ($ 1,725).

My medicines are depleted.

My blood pressure is rising daily.

My blood sugars are high since i have no insulin.

I have no gas.

Electric & Internet are past due.

I have no food and feel depressed since I have never been in this situation before in my life.

Any support of any amount is GREATLY appreciated!

Many thanks In Advance!

Jim

A Single Mother’s Fight for Survival: Help Us Overcome This Nightmare

My name is Natalia Ventura, and I never imagined I’d be living through the worst nightmare of my life, but here I am, fighting for survival every day. I’m a single mother, struggling with disabilities that have made it impossible for me to work. After being denied SSI benefits, I now have to start the grueling process all over again. The weight of this situation feels unbearable, but what breaks my heart even more is the thought of my one-year-old daughter depending on me during this time of immense hardship.

As if my own struggles weren’t enough, my dear mother was recently diagnosed with cancer. She had to undergo surgery to remove one of her kidneys, and now she needs ongoing treatment, transportation, and a safe place to live. But with my current situation, I can’t even afford to help her. It devastates me that I’m unable to provide the support she needs during this terrifying time.

We’re two months behind on rent, and I’m struggling just to put food on the table and buy basic necessities for my daughter. Every bill feels like a mountain I can’t climb, and I feel like I’m failing the two people who need me most: my mother and my baby girl.

I’m reaching out because I’ve exhausted all other options, and I’m desperate for help. Your generosity could make the difference between sinking and surviving. I can provide evidence of my current situation to those willing to help. Please consider donating to help us stay afloat, provide the care my mother desperately needs, and give my daughter the chance at a stable life. Every little bit count, and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your kindness and support.

Support a Family in Crisis: Job Loss & Medical Struggles

We’ve shared 15 years of love and partnership, but this past year has been the hardest of our lives. I lost my job in June 2023 after a layoff in the tech industry. My partner, who battles severe ADHD and depression, hasn’t been able to work in over a decade because of his condition. And now, we find ourselves in a fight for survival.

In addition to his mental health struggles, my partner is suffering from stage 3 liver damage due to a devastating pharmacy error with his SSRI medication. If he reaches stage 4, he will need a liver transplant. Watching someone you love endure so much pain and uncertainty has been unbearable. He’s incredibly intelligent and dreams of entering politics one day, but his condition and the recent health crisis have taken a toll. Most days, he’s bedridden, and I feel powerless to help.

For years, I was the sole breadwinner, managing to keep us afloat. But since my layoff, our savings have evaporated, and we’re now struggling just to make it week to week. We’ve been fortunate to have his mother take us in, but we were once the ones helping her. Now, other family members are stepping in to cover the bills, but they’re also living on tight incomes. The burden they carry for us weighs heavy on my heart.

We no longer have health insurance, which means my partner cannot access the medication he desperately needs. Every day feels like a battle we’re slowly losing. I’ve applied for countless jobs – even those far outside my field – but the rejections have been constant. I’ve been told I’m too senior, too experienced, too expensive (even though I would accept any salary right now). And after many hopeful interviews, I’ve been ghosted by employers. I feel the weight of ageism, of an unforgiving job market, and of time slipping away.

I know things will change, that one day the market will improve, and I’ll be able to rebuild our lives. But I’m scared. Will we survive until then? Our money is gone. Our finances are in ruins. Creditors are breathing down our necks. We are out of options, and we need help.

If you can spare anything at all, we would be beyond grateful. Your support would help us get through this dark chapter until I can find work again. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and for any kindness you can extend.

Money for second chance

Good day, my name is Ivan, and I am from Ukraine. Since this site doesn’t work for us, I asked my son to write this letter on behalf of both of us. But first, I had to tell him the whole truth about my financial problems and how I am unable to provide our family with a future.

I understand that as long as I am healthy and have hands and feet, I don’t have the right to complain and ask others for money, but I see that my end is near, and in a little while, it will be too late to ask for help. So, if you have the opportunity to help, please help me get out of this abyss, get back on my feet, and continue on with life. In return, I promise to help others who are also in need of assistance.

My story began many years ago when I was still young and ambitious. After graduating from university, I returned to my hometown, a small village with a population of a few thousand. At first, I worked as a teacher for a few years, got married, and my wife and I had a son, Ivan, and then a daughter, Maryana. As time passed, I realized that working in a school would not be enough to support my family, so I decided to try my hand at entrepreneurship. Since I had no financial support from the state and the banks refused to lend me money, I borrowed money from people in dollars at interest.

Years went by, I worked, but not very successfully. At that time, I managed to pay the interest, so I kept looking for other ways to earn money, but that required more funds (which I had no choice but to borrow again with interest).

My first loans were when the dollar was worth 8 hryvnias here, and now it’s 41 hryvnias. But the hardest part was yet to come—the war started, and everyone I owed began demanding their money back.

How can I return amounts in the hundreds of thousands of dollars when I don’t earn that much and have nothing to sell? These amounts accumulated because I borrowed from one person to pay another. I didn’t want and was afraid that my creditors would come to my family, so I tried to pay everyone their interest. Now, in despair, having nothing to pay the interest with, I am writing this letter, hoping that maybe someone will help me, and in a few years, I will be able to get out of this pit and return the money to those who need it as much as I do.

I apologize and hope that the world is not without kind people. Thank you!

Broken & Lost

I was still grieving the loss of my best friend , My oldest son  & my daddy who I lost all within a 6 month period, my fiancee the only stability & constant companion passed very suddenly at the age of 36 in January of this year. On top of dealing with all the tragedy Ive endured I found myself also losing my home of the past 10 years. SO now at 46 Ive found myself alone and homeless. I feel as though Im failing miserably at life and Im uncertain what to do. I haven’t ask for help before now because I had family that was helping me, unfortunately that family member began using illegal steroids and neat me up pretty bad giving me a concussion & dislocated shoulder among other things. He also broke my phone making ot impossible to do almost anything, including calling for an Uber or doing remote task to pay for food and such. So at the moment I’m sleeping in the elements.  I’m completely homeless and broke. Paying for funeral services took a huge toil on my finances. I can go to a local Favor  House when they have space,  but there is no definitive date on that. And on top of everything else while being seen for the abuse I was put through a mass was found under my left arm that requires an appointment with an oncologist for further testing before it can be determined weather or not its cancerous, I really could just use a little compassion, a little humanity in my life and a hand up. As of now I have nothing and my will to live is getting lower and my faith is shaky at best these days. Please I don’t ask for help often and I’m begging those of you that can give please help me out if if its a dollar it adds up in the end

Help for Rehab

I am 52 yrs old and disabled. I have Medicare but it only covers inpatient rehab at a medical facility…ie. mental hospital. I am not crazy therefore I can’t get the help I need for rehab. The president has a bill that will eventually allow Medicare to cover drug rehab but as of yet it’s just a bill. I need help now. There is a difference between inpatient and residential. That is why Medicare won’t pay. My son was recently assaulted (very bad) he was tied to a chair and beaten by multiple people and they then hog tied him and wrapped him in a tarp and was going to kill him. (He was held at gunpoint and also stabbed). He got away. And I took him to the hospital and he spent a few months acting out and I finally got him the help he needed and I made a plan that when I got him settled I would finally go and get the help I need. I’ve never broken the law and like I said I don’t need a mental hospital. I’m having such a hard time dealing with what happend to my son and I know I need dual diagnostic rehabilitation preferably out of state. I live in an impoverished community riddled with crooked police and drugs. I have worked my whole life and raised my children as a single mother until I became disabled and couldn’t work. I made a promise to God that if I got my disability I would use any extra to help others. And I kept my promise. But now I am the one needing help and I am broke. And broken. I know that I was put on this earth for a higher purpose and I can’t serve my purpose as long as I have “this monkey” on my back weighing me down. Also, my husband is an alcoholic and I have suffered physical and mental abuse for 6 yrs. It’s time. I want to make a change and it time for me to help myself so I can help others. This is something I would NEVER think I would have to do but I know as long as I pay it forward it is the right thing. My request is not all about someone giving me money. If there is someone out there that reads my story and knows of any resources that would help me please let me know. Although if you would like to donate my cash app is $Mseaton12….thanks for your consideration.

Dear friends and generous hearts,

We reach out to you today with heavy hearts and a deep sense of hope. We are facing an extremely difficult situation and urgently need your help. Right now, we are overwhelmed by $8,500 in debts, bills, and other unavoidable expenses.

My husband, who is deaf-mute and disabled, is struggling even more due to employment discrimination. This makes it nearly impossible for him to find work, and as a result, we have not been able to generate the income needed to cover our basic necessities. This situation is deeply affecting our family, especially our child, who is also suffering due to our financial crisis.

We are desperate and lack the resources to ensure the well-being of our child and ourselves. Your support and solidarity could make a huge difference in our lives. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us alleviate the burden of our debts and find some stability during this challenging time.

We are deeply grateful for any help you can provide. Your generosity will not only offer us immediate relief but also give us a glimmer of hope for the future. Thank you for standing with us in this crucial moment!

With gratitude and hope,

Unemployed 58 year old going to vocational school

First of all let me say how grateful I am to be here. I had no idea that a site like this existed and when I am back on my feet I will be helping those in need.  I have had a very rough year. I have been in an abusive relationship which ended with my wife breaking two wine bottles over my head. I left immediately and I haven’t looked back. My employer after 20 years of loyal service fired me after an incident where they failed to train me. At 58 years old I decided to go back to school to become a barber and I only have 3 months of training left. I am really loving it and I am getting really good. I am unemployed and my unemployment check is not enough to cover my monthly rent. I have exhausted all of my savings and I do not know what to do next.  I happened to find this site on accident and I am praying that there are people who can help me. I am a huge believer in charity as I like to give to those in need but now I am the one who is in need. I pray that someone out there who is blessed and has a big heart please help me. Anything will help. Again, I am grateful that this site exists and I hope I have an angel or a few angels that will help me. Thank you for reading this and may God bless you.

Help me bring my wife home

Hi

I’m in some desperate need of help. I’m trying to bring my wife to Canada. We are getting older and we want to have a child.

A little background about me. Over 10 years ago I went through a divorce and at the time my career was on an up swing. That all changed when I broke under the pressure.  I lost all my savings, my condo, my truck and my trailer. My brother and sister helped me to get on my feet. They found me a place to live and I found a low paying job. I never let myself go into bankruptcy but looking back it might have been a better choice. It took several years but I crawled back up. I traded my way up to a reliable car and advanced at my job. Things were looking up, I was able to pay my bills although they were increasing.

Last year, I met my future wife and we had a long distance relationship. I was able to go and meet her. Everything was perfect so I proposed. We made plans to marry and in February we did just that. I had to borrow for the wedding and flight which completely maxed me out but I was still okay.

Then in April my work decided they didn’t want me anymore after 6.5 years. It took a month but I found another job at a 30% pay cut. Now i cant afford my bills. Each month im $1500 short. I keep looking for a better job but nothing yet.

My plans to bring my wife here are basically on hold. I hope someone reads this and is able to help in some way.

Bless you.

I do believe in paying it forward.

I humbly ask for:

$30,000 loans, taxes and credit cards

$15,000 immigration fees, lawyer fee, and flights

Thank you for reading this

Help to fix home

Hi. I’m seeking assistance to get urgent repairs to my house. It was badly damaged during Hurricane Dorian and is incomplete. I was approved for assistance, but it was cancelled because the area I live in is outside of the approval zone. Since then I’ve been battling with black mold which is affecting the health of my children. I’ve been in and out of the doctor’s office almost every month because of this. I also need assistance to put in plumbing, power and with basic materials to complete the house.  Because housing was and is so limited, I was forced to move into my incomplete home. Please help me protect the health of my family ance provide a safe dwelling place. Thank you. https://paypal.me/LarhueM?country.x=BS&locale.x=en_US

Seeking financial assistance as a mother of two.

I am reaching out today for any financial support you may be able to offer. I am a mother to two young boys, seeking assistance during what has been one of the most challenging times in my life.

I am really struggling to manage my financial responsibilities without a support system :(

My current situation has made it increasingly difficult to cover essential expenses such as rent and food. I work hard to ensure that my boys have what they need, but my income is often not enough to meet our basic requirements.

Each month, the rent takes up a significant amount of my budget. With rising housing costs, and my rent going up recently i’m constantly worried about how I’ll pay the bills. It is extremely important to me for my boys to have a safe and secure place to live, but the fear of eviction is always in the back of my mind :( .

Food is another concern… the rising cost of groceries often stretches my budget to its limits. Sometimes it feels like I am choosing between paying my rent and putting food on the table.
I am also unfortunately facing challenges with my car payments. My car is not just a mode of transport; it is essential for getting my boys to daycare and getting to and from work. Keeping up with these payments has become difficult, and I fear falling behind, which could lead to losing the only reliable means of transport I have.

I am burdened with other expenses including medical, constant specialist appointments for my son and other necessary bills, I find myself facing overwhelming debt that I struggle to manage while trying to care for my boys.

I don’t have family or friends nearby to turn to for support. Being away from my extended family has left me feeling isolated and desperate for help. I have always been independent, but the weight of these responsibilities has become too much to handle alone. I am determined to do what is best for my kids, and I believe that reaching out for help is a crucial step in providing for them.

I sincerely appreciate your time and any assistance or resources you could provide. I am hopeful that with the right support, I can find a way to navigate this challenging period.

Thank you for considering my situation.

Any support is appreciated, I am hoping to reach $6,000 to feel comfortable and confident in supporting my boys.

Please help me take care of my father who has dementia.

2 years ago my father was diagnosed with dementia. After he was diagnosed he stayed in the hospital for a couple of weeks then transferred to nursing home for short term rehabilitation. While in the nursing home he got worse. He wasn’t receiving the medication that was needed which lead him to be confined to a wheelchair. I would visit almost everyday so I could Advocate for him because some days he would be sitting in a dirty diaper which would cause sores on his butt. He also fell 3x while under their care which fractured his pelvis. I took him out of the nursing home due to the lack of medical attention and supervision he wasn’t getting. He’s gotten better since he’s been home because I’m taking care of him along with home aides but I don’t have enough money to take care of him. I’m barely getting by. I’m in debt trying to keep him home. He’s 87, and I don’t want to put him back in a nursing home where he was getting the treatment he needed. I would like for him to spend his last days home where he can get the love and treatment that he needs, but I don’t have the money. Please help us. God bless you all for your help.

Dear Friends and Kind Strangers,

I never imagined I would find myself in a situation where I need to reach out for help like this, but life has taken an unexpected turn, and I am humbly asking for your support.
