Greetings, My name is Benjamin Storie and I am a retired RN. I am 67 years young and love to learn and study. I receive a small retirement check from the government. I need to work to help make ends meet and have been doing Door Dash. I had a head on collision a month ago and the car was totaled. I contracted blood sepsis while working as a home care RN a few years ago which put me in the hospital for nearly a year. The sepsis got into my cervical spine causing paralysis. I have since regained 90% function. During that painfull time I exhausted all my resources not having an income. A year later the sepsis ruined my right knee replacement and I endured surgery number two. Modern knee replacements are made of plastic and titanium ane the sepsis was hiding there. I again needed another R-TKA, physical therapy and have difficulty walking.

During my nursing career I was a medical foster parent and cared for 35 sick children in my home over 3 years. I adopted two Russian orphans and a handicapped black child who was in my care.

These days, traffic accidents are a daily occurrence. The number of individuals purchasing cars is rising daily, which is contributing to an increase in traffic accidents. In addition, folks these days are also more reckless. There are many different types of transportation, particularly in large cities. In addition, cities are getting denser and the highways are getting narrower.

Resulting in both material and fatalities. Regardless of the kind of transportation anyone uses, people should exercise greater caution when driving. Due to the increase in these incidents, even those walking are not safe.

My story isn’t really different than any other. I was on my way to work on the highway on a bright and beautiful Saturday morning, heading onto an off-ramp exit to get onto another highway. Traffic ahead at 45 mph and bottle-necked, due to this low speed people were constantly braking, then boom I was rear ended at this low speed of 45 mph causing me to bump into a truck in front of me.

The back end of my car was damaged along with the front end of my car, my only source of travelling from point a to point b. I don’t make enough to get a new car so I am here asking for help. I am appreciative no one got hurt, and I am grateful for what I do have. I just need assistance so I can continue to make a difference in this world by making sure I can complete the jobs I have ahead of me. Clients need their products, and my service provides them.

I am 23, living in the Bay Area and currently really, really struggling to the point that I’m swallowing my pride and begging for any assistance you can give me to help pay my car insurance. In 2020 I had nearly 3k stolen from me from a manipulative person and it set my finances back so far that I’ve been in debt pretty much since the pandemic started. To day life doesn’t go like we all picture it is an understatement to say the least. Hi my name is Donna and here’s my story. Hopefully someone can relate and help me or at the very least have a good laugh. Where should I start. Will without going as far back as my childhood lets go back five years ago. It was 2018 and I decided after talking to my Dad one day on the phone I had no choice but to drop everything and move up to the mountains. I’ve always been a daddy’s girl.  So much that in my parents divorce I out of  six siblings went with my dad. He later told my I had literally saved his life. Fast forward to my new life living near Yosemite. I admit it was a struggle to rebuild once again but with the encouragement of my dear Ol dad I found work and began to save my money to fix my Chevy pick up. I named her blue Betty. Fifteen hundred dollars later and countless hours wrenchingI had got her running. Timing couldn’t be better. The following day I headed down victoriously down the mountain. Half way in my ride the motor blew and i ended up missing my unit grand daughters third birthday party. So what else could I do at that point but to dust myself off and get back to saving for another truck. After months of breaking my back cleaning vacation rentals from Sun up to after dark I’d managed to out away enough to buy another pick up. Only a few months in the transmission went out. For the love of sam things only got harder. After six months i caught a break and found a tranny for five hundred bucks. I changed it myself and proudly was back in business. Literally. In the Course of my time up here in between helping my dad with all the much needed and long overdue house repairs I had started my own cleaning company. Well I then learned a very good lesson the hard way when that truck was stolen from a crazy lady fresh out of prison. Since I hadn’t registered the truck yet since I didn’t have all the dmv fees she took advantage of this loop hole and drove  away in my truck. Along with all my tools and equipment. Not to mention my clients linens. So here I am so blessed to have a supportive dad willing to drive me to my jobs anytime i need him so that’s cool. Here is when I’m supposed to throw my pitch and ask for someone to help me out and buy the motor i need to get my new used truck on the road. I got a great deal on it since it needs an engine so I’m willing to do the work of anyone out there can help me but a Dodge ram 5.7 l hemi for a 2008 pick up Is more then appreciate it. Hi. My name is Darnell Duncan. I am a 41 yr old man who is having a hard time getting things back on track. I currently work part time at a gas station and seeking a better job. My income isn’t much. I have anxiety and depression which causes me to tremor at times. That causes me to lose some decent positions when these attacks happen. Due to the company don’t want to be reliable if I get hurt. I am limited on some positions for work. I have a 2013 Dodge Avenger SE that i currently only owe $1450 from $7000. I have had my car for 2 years now. I have put a fair amount of money into the car because it is a good running car. Once I am able to pay off the rest of the car, hopefully some better opportunities become available. Hello, I am writing this because I found myself in a very unfortunate situation and desperately need help from someone kind and willing.

I got into a wreck the other day due to ice on the roads and hit a Ford company truck. At the time I did not have insurance due to an issue with the paperwork but was able to get that resolved following the wreck. I was not however able to cover the wreck with said insurance and now must pay out of pocket to fix the damages to the company truck. The company requires the truck to be fixed at a Ford approved body shop and the estimate given was the amount of 5,896.54

I do not have the means to pay that amount and if I am sued I would be forced to file for bankruptcy. I am a disabled veteran and have had issues finding work even after applying to countless jobs because of this fact. I started an online business and work every day to get it going. I need 6000 dollars to repair my truck, and buy a new battery, wheels and tires.  If anything’s left, I’ll get a jack, because my old one broke.

Last May(2023), my truck stopped working. I’d done repairs on it, but it got a hole where one of spark plugs went, that wasn’t able to be repaired.  I tried to get some money together to get another vehicle and got 1400 together by the end of June (most of which came from my 401k). During the time that I didn’t have a vehicle, I had to share my grandfather’s truck.  I found a truck for 1400 at the end of June.

I went to see it, test drove it and decided to buy it.  The vehicle ran ok, and didn’t seem to have many issues.  The vehicle is a 2005 ford expedition.  The first issue I found, was that there was no air conditioning.  Since it was a new buy, I took it to the mechanic to be checked out.

Upon evaluation, the entire undercarriage (catalytic converters, pipes, etc.) needed repair.  Fortunately that had recently been done to my previous vehicle, so they removed it from my old truck and put it on the new one.  The a/c was also recharged.  Then, I got a tuneup. All 8 spark plugs needed to be replaced, and some of them had to be soaked to get them out.

Then, the check engine light came on.  That issue was resolved.  The a/c stopped working again.  The diagnostic found several issues which I was unable to afford to have repaired (and still can’t).  The inside console light facing the driver doesn’t work.

The headlights stopped working.  My grandfather and I troubleshot the issue.  I replaced the bulbs, then bought and installed a headlight connector.  I need one more, but haven’t had the money for it.  I don’t have my grandfather do repairs or most things related to my truck because he’s 84.

So, the headlights mostly work currently.  The high beams work on one side and the entire light works well on the other.  The light on half of the dashboard doesn’t work.  I checked and replaced a few fuses.  The backup alarm was working, then it stopped.

The windows (passenger front and driver rear) get stuck sometimes.  The driver front window just stopped working 2 days ago.  When winter arrived, the heat worked great.  It went out last week.  The check engine light returned.

The dashboard says check suspension. There is a small leak from the sunroof when it rains.  Some of the rubber stoppers around the windshield and doors are loose.  The jack that usually comes with the truck isn’t there.  My jack will not work, I don’t know why.

I’ve never replaced the battery.  One tire has a slow leak, and two tires are almost bald.  There is no spare.  The wheels have a crinkly looking quality to them.  These are the current issues with my truck.

I’m a single parent of a teen boy.  Most of my money goes to bills, gas and food.  I’ve had some ups and downs financially, and a couple of major issues recently (dryer broke, fridge broke) but I’m working on bettering myself.  I just need some help with this issue. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Noah Crowley. I’m a full time student. I recently bought my first car, a Honda CR-V 2010 for am expected 4,500. The taxes on it was over 500. Okay, I was smart and saved money. Well the car ended up needing a butt load of maintenance. I found the cheapest and best mechanic but it ended up costing about another 900. I took it to Valvoline, and the oil stick was bone dry. They also quoted me many more maintenance that needs to be done on the car for about 400. The mechanic said the control arms and balls were cracked and I would need to replace those too, another 800. I signed up for auto insurance with USAA and needed to pay a 400 down-payment as well as my monthly bills. Already about 6,500 spent in just 1 month. I thought I as going to move to Washington with my family so I bought a steal of a deal car there for 2,000. Yet since I didn’t I never used it, my family is trying to sell it. Making my expenses for this about 8,500 with another about 1,500 in expenses left. I’ve run out of money, I can only afford 2 months of auto insurance bills, gas is so expensive these days and it’s killing any scraps of money I have left. I was without a job for the last 6 months and just recently got one last week. I’ve tried to be smart, I’ve avoided student loans so far, had jobs, going to a community College, but the extra 4,000 in expenses in just almost 2 months has erased my financial abilities. I am in desperate need at the moment because my fiancé car recently broke down. He is working two jobs right now, taking care of his 5 kids, paying rent and other bills constantly. My fiancé lives in Miami at the moment for work so I am not able to see him. His kids live in another city as well about 2 hours and 30min away. He has been saving up money to get to them & also me for months.

My name is Percy Clark II.

In February 2023, I was a blessed to purchase a much needed car. A 2015 Chevrolet Equinox with approximately 97,500 miles. This car has made it possible to further assist my family, picking up or dropping off some of my church family and commuting to my job. The regular car maintenance needed was affordable and some parts were easy to repair.

Until my engine light came on and the auto mechanic diagnosed the engine. He said I will need an engine timing change. His service includes  the part and labor, will be $1600.00.

I’m also in dire need of replacing  the front rotors and front brakes. The cost is  $500.00 for the parts and labor. This will be done by a  different mechanic

Last year my  catalytic converter was stolen. When it  was replaced, the  mechanic stated that when the thieves cut off  the catalytic converter, they damaged a connecting part. this will cost an additional $300.00.

While the car is being repaired, I will need to rent a car for at least a week. The additional $600.00 should cover the cost for the car rental.
