Hello. I’ve, never done something like this, and I learned about this sight while searching youtube for how to fix my financial situation. Long story short, I was in the US Navy, but only for 4 years. I only joined so I could hopefully try to dig my way from being born in poverty to having a stable life, and be able to pay for college.

But, now I’m 24 woman who walks with a cane, unable to get a job because I’m young and disabled. I’ve been barely able to stay off of the streets using my entire disability money to live in airbnbs.

I’ve struggled to get into a college, and am barely keeping up with an online Environment and Sustainability Degree.

I’m not looking for much, as I know I’m on the verge of making it to stability. After a year of trying I was finally approved for an apartment, and I can just barely afford it. But I don’t get my GI until the end of January.

Between rent, utility start up costs and a dropped class due to being unable to complete it because of my disabilities, I’m looking at having, about $30 for the next 2 months.

I don’t own furniture. I have little clothing, and nothing winter worthy. I was thrown out to the streets by my conspiracy theorist ex fiance at gunpoint cause his mother convinced him I was cheating on him with someone that sexually assaulted me, and he has refused to send me my belongings as he promised me, and its been over a year now.

It’s been, a very hard year, and I have been trying to figure out how to get past this last hurdle, to afford food, and maybe a mattress.

My name is Marty. I’m 54 years old, single and disabled. I lost everything during COVID due to being hospitalized with Encephalitis and Covid in 2021 and became homeless. Lived in Atlanta homeless until 4 months ago. My oldest sister who is also disabled insisted that I come and live on her 4 and a half acre property so I moved to Rock Spring, GA. We agreed on $500 for renting her shed out back which is 12’×7′. We are both on fixed income and the property is in desperate need of many things for which we cannot afford. There are a few important things that are needed that would really contribute and help us a lot around here and that is a work truck or farm truck if you will. I’ve been selling firewood to the locals around here but I’m having problems with getting the wood split because of my disability. The farm is dormant and hasn’t been used in years but if I just had a good running work truck I could help her a lot around here and this would in return help me. I’ve got some good ideas on what to farm we’re going to need things like a good running tractor and a decent running work truck. I am disabled and I received SSI which is only $943 a month. And every month that $943 is going within one day for bills and groceries and it leaves nothing for me to save or to invest towards a tractor and a truck. I know and I feel in my heart that if I had the proper used equipment I would Farm as much of this property as I could and my sister has given me permission to do whatever because she has very little hope. Her single story ranch home is about to come off of the foundation on one side of the house. The original barn that was built I believe in the ’50s or ’60s is dilapidated and has already been damaged from a large cedar tree and she had some neighbors just help her prop everything back up and it looks so dangerous to walk under. There’s even a small pond and it won’t hold water. I need a good running tractor and and a decent running farm truck please because I see almost no other way but to swallow my pride and ask for help. Farmall tractors that are used and in decent condition and running are price between $4,000 and $20,000. A good running farm truck that has the capabilities of a farm truck such as tonnage hauling capacity and in some cases four-wheel drive. I don’t think we need four-wheel drive around here but it could come in handy one day. Most trucks that I found that I would need to do the kind of work that is need to be done around here is priced between $7,000 and $30,000. I’m planning to grow corn, raise honey bees, and goats. But I can’t do either of these without the proper equipment and tools. If I had a tractor and a truck I can begin preparing these four and a half acres for these projects that will sustain us as well as provide for us the kind of help we need to straighten up the foundation on the house and to tear the old barn down and build a new one while providing corn, bees to pollinate our food, and raising goats for their hair, to clear land, for their meat, for their milk, and even for pets. If you’re reading this and you’re considering helping I would be so grateful and happy knowing that there is someone out there that cares. And I don’t want your money. I would just like to have your help with some very necessary equipment so that I can get the ball rolling. I would like for anyone who may be considering to even visit and see for yourself to help we could use to farm these four and a half acres that will provide more for us and our community. it’s been a rough year. Living pay check to pay check and 2 jobs and still just barely staying afloat.  I need the money to pay off my credit debt and medical bills so I can breathe at the end of the day. I need to get a new gas water heater and a new back door to my house because it got kicked in my credit cards have all been maxed out and just making minimum payments and then the interest hits just keeping me stuck and no way to get get ahead I am never this bad with money.  But this inflation is killing me.  I am about to get a 3rd job doing the uber eats just to try to make some extra money.  It’s just been so hard to get ahead.  I have never asked for help like this before and do appreciate any help if at all possible.  Thank you so much for understanding.

My baby is due in 6 weeks. I’m a certified nursing assistant and work for a private family, taking care of a young girl with cerebral palsy. My hours have been cut due to my patient being in the hospital for two weeks before I welcome my son into this world. I applied for CalWorks and was denied because I “work too much”. I make 1200 a month and pay 500 in rent. It’s hard to hear that because I work all the hours I can while I’m over 8 months pregnant for a girl in desperate need of nursing care, I’m denied help. I currently have 29 dollars in my account and will only be working two more weeks until I go on maternity leave.

I’m asking for 500 dollars to cover some needs I have for my child. I just spent 300 on his car seat and need a little more to cover some other expenses for him.

I live in Asheville NC and the hurricane destroyed everything around me, my home, my car and generally everything in sight. I have four dogs, my husband and me living in our home.
We really need help recovering from the hurricane. Fema did nothing. I applied on Oct 2 I turned in all paperwork and called many many times. Still nothing to help us.no explanation of why they have t contacted us in any way either. They strongly suggested I apply for a small business loan.
, I went blind a couple of years ago and had to have cataract surgery and since that time I havent been able to work. My husband is disabled and waiting on disability to approve him. I hope someone reads this, that can relate to my situation and could help me out.

I need a Civil Lawyer in the worst way. I’m not able to pay the Average $5000 retainer that almost all of them want (for a decent attorney with experience) up front.

I have tried to get a pro Bono one, which is almost impossible in my state. If I lived a couple hundred miles north, it would a possibility but as I have research for weeks now…its really a not gonna happen here!

I’ve checked the low income lawyer assistance sites, the bar association, and every probono page I could find. They were all willing to assist in filing paperwork, and how to fill it all out. Not go to court on your behalf with you, so you would have a fighting chance against people that have pretty good attorneys.

I have a great case against them too. There’s NO WAY they could beat me on this. I’ll give you the short version…

 

I moved onto a family friends property in my motor home, as I needed a serious surgery for a full pelvic collapse. Then covid hit and they stopped all “elective” surgeries until further notice. Still don’t see how it was considered elective?!?! Anyhow, it had been canceled and now the whole country was in lock down.

We had agreed that instead of paying rent, that I would HELP out on the property. They had 2 pregnant mares, a stray cat and acreage that had NOT been cared for in years, as well as a toddler. They both worked full time, and asked (before covid hit) if I would HELP with the2 horses, and Help out with yard stuff, and watch the little one when something would come up, or he would be sick and couldn’t go to daycare. Seemed agreeable to me.  Oh yeah, as well as I would pay rent when I had my surgery and wouldn’t be able HELP do the physical things for a while. The first mistake I made…not getting anything in writing! Not sure if you seen the HELP them or not. That would mean they would be involved in some way. They were at first, but it gradually just stopped all together, and I was taking care of ALL 6 horses (the mares had their babies and they purchased 2 more), the now I think it was 10 chickens as well as 5 turkeys, their toddler full time as well as the property and having to keep up their house(for people that are beyond lazy as to picking up after themselves). Not to mention ALL the little projects the wife said needed done.

Mind that I was now having to work more hours than a full time job, and not being paid, just parking my motorhome on the property with an extension cord for power. No water and I paid every other month for my septic to be dumped. Sorry to have to tell you this, but back 5 years ago, the cost of an RV space with full hook up was only $350 a month plus electric at the coast. The hours and expected duties I was being asked to do so passed what I would have paid for rent ANYWHERE. I mean at minimum wage(then) of even $10hr at 40 hrs a week(5days a week( is $400 a week, right? What if your days went from let’s say 7:30 and ended anywhere from 5:30 to 8pm, with the usual NO call or notice of the common LATE evenings. And Heaven forbid you text and ask if they had a time frame on when they would be home, as they wouldn’t answer the majority of the time anyway.

So needless to say…my average work week was over 60 hours a week. Then there were the weekends when she would be home (he worked every other weekend at first) and expect me to still take care of ALL her animals and property. When I tried to say something about it to her, she would make a comment like ” maybe we’re not a good fit anymore”, and how the typical stall cleaners worked 7 days a week. When I told her that was a lie(as I previously worked at a 60+ stall facility) and only occasionally  did they even work 6 days a week, and only to cover someone else when they were sick. Besides which, I wasn’t a stall cleaner. I had become a full time child care, house keeper, cook, landscaper, animal care taker, maintenance worker, etc. They were getting a lot more out of the arrangement than if I had just paid them rent. I got off track, sorry. Okay, at just 40hs=$400 a week, which is $1600 a month. Not counting the average let’s say15-25 hours extra each week about 8 months of the yr, and 10hrs a week extra the rest of the time. Oh yeah, did I mention that I was there to HELP them with these things!

All this would be hard for the average healthy person. Now, how do you think a person with multiple auto immune diseases, diabetes, and MS, as well as there because needed surgery, but covid still had all non life threatening surgeries put on hold, doing all this? Well that’s me, and when I had to leave the property recently for a devided 3 weeks to help my parents, all hell broke loose. I came back to a “you need to move,Now!”. What the H*llc?

After all these 5 yrs being here in my RV, she decided they aren’t set up for an RV. Why??? Because according to her.. ” you could have said No!” Excuse me, my mom is a double transplant recipient with numerous other health issues, and my dad is on dialysis.  Both of which were extremely sick and in and out of hospital. But she had become accustomed to having a SLAVE around to bid her calling.  She was pussed because I was helping someone else.

But my body has been through hell out here doing all this stuff for them, and already told them I couldn’t do everything anymore, so she was already irritated at that. But they were happy enough with my work, to ask if I wanted to move up to their other property that her mom gave them and help get it ready for a barn, home etc. To be put on it(10acres). I said I wasn’t sure about wether my body could take it or not, and left it at that. Now she is saying. That I’ve been here for 5 yrs and never even paid rent, that the agreement was to be for a fee months. EXCUSE ME???

What about all the work,the supplies never reimbursed for, even though promised I would get back? As well as all the projects done, like chicken coup, stall pasture making and leveling, cleaning hay barn, so it could hold hay, cleaning out barn as it was so covered in webs(it took 2 days with2 people to get it dome),getting a water line to barn(they ran into spicket attached to wall) they broke in about 2 weeks, burning piles and piles of rotten trees, brush, etc. That I cleaned up, and that doesn’t even include all the work done in the back yard.

What about the almost full yr of child care that you gave me $50 for, after telling me they paid $950 a month before me. And the cheapest quote gotten to put the water line in was I believe just under $12000. The moss taken off their roof, which they only Paid $100, and I did too because they were gone( going rate…over $2000), as well as the New John Deer Riding mower I was able to get them with a warranty for under $500(look them up), oh yeah, a $3500 metal carport (20′ × 30′) for  $250, and another one(10×12) for $100, and the list goes on. All that was supposed to be covering my staying. But she just keeps saying I have been there 5 yrs and never paid rent!.

When I told her we could add up all the hours I have worked, projects done and money not reimbursed,and when I leave she would still owe me a boat load of money.

All I get from her is ” you were only supposed to stay a few months”, and when I asked her about her wanting me to stay, everything done and her wanting to go to the property, she doesn’t respond or threatens to have my motor home and car towed off.

All the while, she still won’t tell me why, all of the sudden she wants me gone.

I’m on a limited income, I can’t pay all at once what it will take to get the motorhome road ready(after sitting 5 yrs),  filling the gas tank alone is over $200, then having to license it  again is almost $300, and my flatbed she borrowed to haul hay then parked at her parents instead of here suddenly has no wiring, when it did have, and all worked when she used it, so that’s going to take a few hundred dollars, since they said they don’t know what happened to it and it’s not their concern. Really???

With these friends, I’d rather deal with enemies. Anyway I gotta get out of here. I don’t want to stay where I an not wanted. It’s gonna take both time and money. I hate to have to do it, but I want to get back the money I spent on supplies etc. I am still going thru my receipts, but the first yr alone is around $900.  The way she keeps saying I never paid rent, I think they should have to pay me for ALL the hours I work, as well as the special(oversided) project I did, that saved them Thousands of dollars each. Then I can hand her the rent she wants and still have plenty of money to do everything needed and get off the property.

It’s time for me to finally take care of me. Oh yeah, I did have my surgery. Though now it needs redone, only now…they say I am gonna have to have a colostomy bag. The Dr isn’t sure if it would be temporary or permanent until he sees the damage that has happened fromm all the work, etc. Where I live.

Hello, my name is Wes, My wife and I have five children together we’ve just moved in to the home we physically built as a family. Due to some serious delays and financial hits along the way we stand to loose the home we work so hard on. My wife and teenager daughter both picked up extra work in order to keep food on the table and the bills at bay. At this point we are out of options, credit cards are maxed out, utilities aresult delinquent. We could really use some breathing room. We’ve expunged our resources. All we need is to start the next chapter of our lives on a good note! Our family has been to he’ll and back over the last 3 years. For the past year. I have been in a financial crisis with trying to purchase a new car.  Every time I bring my car to the shop they fix the one problem then a few weeks later. Something else breaks. No matter how hard I try to save my money. I can’t  keep up.  all the money that I am trying to save keeps going to an All the money that I am trying to save keeps going to a car that is constantly breaking down. Everyone tells me just take a loan out  it’s easier said then done. About six months ago I was out of work for three months due to the patient. I was caring for that passed away due to the age and having surgery. And with the work that I do it’s hard to keep a steady job because of the elderly you never know what’s going to happen. I need a vehicle to get me to my job. I work in home care working with elderly in there homes. They rely on me to be there to help them with their everyday needs cooking, cleaning, taking them to doctor appointments.and going grocery shopping.  Everyone always has a dream with the perfect vacation or a beautiful brand new home. and all I want is a brand new car. just to go to work to see the patient’s eyes light up with happiness when they see me walk through the door.
