A Humble Plea For Help

Dear Potential Donor: Greetings! Peace and blessings!

I truly thank you for taking a moment of your time in seeing my message and hopefully you will find it in your heart to bless me with the urgent help that I desperately need in these trying times in my life.

I need help getting on my feet after being homeless for over 10 straight, wasted years. Over 20 years I’ve lost everything from my place of residence; losing my children to the system to even losing my husband when he died early in our marriage. I have no one. I’m all alone in my midlife years trying to start over with at least the dignity that I have left.  I have no family connections whatsoever either. They all live 1200 miles away though they hardly ever cared as it is.

After many long, tolling years of searching for housing,  I finally got approved for an apartment as of these past two years or so which I am extremely grateful for. Anyway I’m living here with no furniture at all except for a bed,  fan and nightstand. I can’t even invite a guest over without so much as a place to sit. I have no clothes to start going to school.  My goal is to get into cosmetology school. I like doing hair and make up. I’m in so much debt from all the years of unpaid bills I accumulated living in the homeless gutter. My dental health is declining and I can’t afford the extensive work that it takes to repair the damages which runs at about $3000-$5000. The deep-state controlled state insurance doesn’t cover certain types of what they deem not “medically necessary” treatments.

I’m hoping and praying that I don’t lose this apartment I’m in now. I’m already $8,000 in rent arrears and I don’t know how I will survive this situation.  I’m on a fixed income. Disability.  I can’t find work due to my mental diagnoses. If I can get my cosmetology certificate,  I know I could do legitimate work at my home where it is stress free.

So I ask you in all sincerity if you can help me, please? Your help would make a major improvement in my circumstances that I couldn’t possibly ever thank you enough for.  When I reach my goals that I intend to accomplish very soon, I will definitely be reminded of your generous contribution towards the betterment of my life.

Thank you so much. I wish you peace, joy and happiness always.

Please Help

I have been unemployed more than a year and half.  I get a lot of interviews and I have had a few offers but the offers always get pulled at the last minute with no explanation of why. My unemployment benefits have been exhausted months ago.  My advisor at the unemployment office said it his belief that the bank that fired me is blackballing me because they have a reputation of doing so and with my resume and skills test they had me take there is no reason for it to take this long.

People at church have been more than gracious, giving to pay my bills and I am more grateful than I know how to express but I think signs are showing that they are getting tired and pulling away and I understand that its I just don’t know what else I can do but continue to apply and interview.

A short synopsis of why I was fired is I got a call from an elderly man who said it was the staff of his care facility that kept taking his bank card and using it. I looked at his history and this would be his 5th new card in 2 months. When I said I would cancel his card order a new one he said no. He claimed to be on the wrong plan at the facility to get meals included and last time it took more than a week to get the new card and he could not  eat at all during that time.  I contacted management asked what do I do and they basically said it is his problem to figure it out.  Cancel the card and do the normal process.

I just could not tell a 92 year-old tough you can’t eat.  I called a para-church organization I know about and arranged 10 days of free meals for him then I cancelled his card and ordered a new one.   Then I was fired for 3 issues 1st is I disobeyed management, 2nd I overstepped the bounds of my authority by arranging for the food delivery 3rd was I broke the privacy laws by giving out his name to get the food delivery arranged.

Obviously I want enough to pay bills on and not have to frustrate the people at church who have already done so much but if there is a lot of donations where I have enough for a few months to live on and still $8,000 over that I will pay my car off in its entirety so that cannot be taken away.  My PayPal link is

Survived stage 4 cancer but lost everthing else

Hello my name is Candy Atohi, I guess I’ll start with a little about me I’m 54 years old soon to be 55 March 17th 2025 I’m always been independent very hard worker I worked ever since I was 14 years old I’ve always worked out I’ve always been very healthy there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my family and then I’ve overcome a broken back and something was eating my spine the doctors couldn’t figure it out I was even with my last right I had a year and a half old son I overcame that and I’m still here.  I’ve never been married have two beautiful kids small their adults now I sure that I would spend every minute I could with my parents because so many people have regrets and I didn’t want any I was holding my father when he breathed his last breath and the only thing I regret is not taking him to Lowe’s when he wanted to go other than that I miss him terribly but at least I know I spent as much time with him.  I stayed with my mom and she eventually started getting sick and I was taking care of her and then my brother died and I couldn’t leave her she was a mess we got through that and then she got sicker and my oldest brother came to stay with us and he watched my mom when I was at work and you know I took care of all the bills and stuff like that but then in 2019 I found my brother dead in bed and that really destroyed my mother and me and my two kids, so my daughter ended up quitting her last year of high school to help with my mom she stayed home with my mom while I worked and then we ended up in a bad situation and everything was okay we were making the bills and I had a savings mom had a savings and then of course you know stuff happens and we ended up in a bad situation again worse this time, we ended up using all my savings and my mom’s savings but when we got through all of that, we started saving again and then the kicker I was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer had surgery then ended up disabled, now I have a scar from between my breasts all the way down to my crotch area, but in the middle of recovey my mom passed away and that killed me and my daughter and I ended up going through what we had saved up to pay for her funeral and  other expenses, and I still need to get another surgery done which means I have to get cut Open again, and still if that isn’t bad enough my mechanics had my car for over 3 years he gave it back to me to take my mom’s car and give it an oil change even though it wasn’t fixed yet it broke down in Tennessee on my way back from the doctors and now he won’t give me my mom’s car so I have no vehicle he’s just being a a brat about the whole thing and he’s making up excuses not to give me the car and again if that’s not bad enough my phone screen broke and I was using my mother’s phone but I can’t get any information off my phone which has a lot of videos and pictures of my mom and dad and my brothers and the rest of my family on it and very important things but the phone locked me out and I can’t afford a new screen for it and then the phone I was using “my mom’s” and that phone also the screen decided it didn’t want to work anymore and everybody keeps telling me oh it’ll get better and every time someone tells me that something else happens and it gets worse so now I have no money, no car, no phone, I can’t even afford to get any of my medicine including my cancer medicine, I’m not supposed to miss a dose and I haven’t had it in 2 weeks and it’s pretty sad when I can’t afford the copay for my medicine. I’ve exhausted all resources and charities and most of them wouldn’t even help and the ones that did could only help with the electric. I guess $870 a month SSI was to much income for resources to help with rental assistance. If I didn’t have bad luck I wouldn’t have any. I have never in my life been so hopelessly helpless I’m so humiliated and disappointed in myself but it’s not my fault I got sick I’m very proud person very independent person I’ve never been in a situation like this before but I am begging for any kind of help please and if you can’t now at least thank you for taking the time to read this and I have pictures and any other kind of information you might need to back up what I’m saying but please I am literally begging for help. paypal.me/candyatohi

Mother of one, needs career change certification course fee

Greetings,

I am a veteran of 14 years military service with hidden disabilities. Due to the current climate, I must make adjustments to not lose all I’ve fought so hard to attain.

I have a sick mother who lives out of state and my college-bound young adult who relies on me for support. Now that things have shifted I am aware that I will need to seek out a new skill by learning a trade quickly. The course is $500 and I am respectfully asking for the full amount if not more to cover other expenses piling up.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

No weapon formed against us shall prosper.

It’s been a rough road, but somehow I’m doing my best to keep the pieces together. I’ve got five sibling And none of our dads are in the picture. Our mom has been scraping by since I can remember, but life hasn’t been kind to her. One hurdle after another has knocked her down, and sadly us with it. though she fights, it’s hard to stay strong when things keep falling apart.

I’ve always been the man of the house doing my best to encourage everyone and keep us pushing another day, but Every day feels like I’m carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. There’s always something that needs fixing—rent, the ones that have vehicles face issues with them, left with no way to fix fhem. Someone is always not feeling their best and we all have some medical debt. We try to avoid the hospitaI bills the best we can. Ive always done what I could with what I can with what little we have, but sometimes it feels like I’m just barely keeping us afloat.

Life’s been like that since I can remember. Don’t get me wrong we stay positive and 2 of my sister’s even went to school but they have their own families with kids so i.trg not to be other them these days

We do good keeping the basic needs around for the most. These days though basic needs have turned into a very big expense for a lot of people and every single day, I’m trying to figure out how to stretch a dollar, how to make sure everyone doesn’t feel the weight of everything all the time. The youngest don’t need to know all the details, but I can’t ignore the fact that we’re struggling. Our rundown vehicles won’t last forever, and I don’t know how to bring in enough money to pay everything. Rent’s always due again, and I’ve been pushing bills aside, hoping i can come up with a solution to knock a chunk of debt away, but it doesn’t seem possible. I pray all day everyday for guidance and the strength to keep pushing us ahead. Ive had my own struggles so I know how dark it can get without some light.

I don’t want to burden anyone with our struggles, but it’s hard. I try to stay hopeful and give my siblings the love and stability they need, even when it feels like the world is working against us. Every day I wake up hoping something will change, that I’ll get the help we need to finally break free of this cycle. But for now me and my mom will keep fighting for them. Because they’re my family, and I won’t let them fall apart. All we have jn this world is our word our and family. We have to protect them with everything we have.

But we need help. Financially, we can’t make it on our own. I’m trying everything I can but we need a hand up—a little light in this long, dark tunnel. Everyone has their own problems, everyone struggles. One day I pray we’ll be in the position to help people the way your organization does. You’re a blessing. A light at the end of the tunnel.      I’ll leave my Cashapp code below. Anything anyone can do to help is much appreciated. You all have a blessed day and and blessed life. You and your families deserve it💙.

Replaced sewer line

About 10 years ago or so I was told I should replace my sewer line as there were breaks and tree roots in the line. I could not afford to at the time. A few months back my line clogged and I snaked it out like I had been doing regularly. The next day it was nearly completely blocked again and had to have a plumber look at it. He said I really needed my sewer line replaced, and they cleared it out and inspected and told me it could be relined as it was cheaper than having it replaced. I opted for that. I figured about 5000 dollars in cost. He quoted me 16000 dollars. I figured I had no choice, and was able to get financing , but with what I could afford it was 206 dollars a month for 15 years, meaning after it’s paid for I would pay around 20000 in interest. I’m also still paying for the electrical panel I had to have replaced in the basement about a year and a half ago. Other work needs to be done on my house but can’t afford it right now. I am hoping some generous souls could help me pay at least some of amount I owe on my sewer line so I could get it paid off quicker and not have to pay such a high amount of interest. Also I’m almost 60 years old, and by the time it’s paid I’ll be 75.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Send anything you can give to:

Standing together through crisis

I am writing to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your kind consideration and urgent financial assistance during an incredibly challenging time in my life. As a single mother to my daughter, Shay, I have recently faced a series of devastating events that have left me in a precarious financial situation and struggling to make ends meet.
Recently, my daughter bravely survived a suicide attempt. This has been an emotionally traumatic experience for both of us, and while we are focusing on her healing and recovery, it has also resulted in significant and mounting medical bills. The immediate aftermath required a 75 mile ambulance ride to the closest inpatient facility to help her. Ongoing therapy and support are crucial for her long-term well-being.

In order to be there for Shay during this critical time, I have had to take significant time off work, resulting in a substantial loss of income. This loss of wages, coupled with the unexpected medical expenses, has made it impossible for me to keep up with our regular bills.
Adding to this already difficult situation, the immense stress and emotional toll of these events have unfortunately led to a divorce, further compounding my financial and emotional burdens. I am now solely responsible for all household expenses and my daughter’s care.

I am reaching out to you with humility and hope, asking if you might be able to offer any financial support during this crisis. Any amount you could contribute would make a significant difference in helping me cover our essential expenses, alleviate the overwhelming financial stress, and allow me to focus on my daughter’s recovery without the constant fear of losing our home or not being able to provide for her basic needs.

I understand that everyone has their own financial obligations, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my letter and consider my request. If you are unable to provide financial assistance at this time, your thoughts and prayers for my daughter’s recovery and our family are also deeply valued.
We are hoping to raise $30,000 to cover the medical/life expenses. If you are able to help, you can send money through PayPal to @Nevergivingupmom.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion and generosity. Your kindness during this incredibly difficult period would mean the world to me and Shay
Sincerely,
Dorothy, strong but tired
Mom

Divorce

After 25 years my wife tells me she wants a divorce. I had to literally beg her to get counseling with me. She did but would set on the divorce. She never gave me a reason; just only said she wanted a divorce. I asked her, was it someone else, but she would only reply that she wanted a divorce. She started sleeping in our guest bedroom and not speaking to me. It was the most hurtful thing that I can remember happening to me other than the death of loved ones. Over the 25 years I had caught her a few times or more (I lost track) speaking to other men, ex-boyfriends and guy friends prior to us meeting one another. She always said she would stop communicating with them and it was because I wasn’t giving her enough attention. I’ve heard her tell them she loved them and wanted them to meet our children – one time she was on the phone and didn’t know I had come home. A matter of fact is that she was never satisfied; as soon as she got what she wanted, she wanted more – every time. We started off in our marriage with very little. We both wanted children, and I told her I would work as much as needed to provide everything we needed plus more, and she did not have to work. Although I made good money as an engineering technician, she told me she wanted to work, therefore I worked 2 jobs by picking up a second part-time job working at night so she could go to school and become a nurse. Upon her completion, it helped a lot as a two-income family. She was excited because she had very little growing up and no one to encourage her to do more in any positive way. It was good to see her excel and being promoted into management. She would come home and complain, I would listen to her and provide feedback carefully.

She even went to the courthouse and filed for divorce. Finally, after two years, I signed the divorce papers. All those years, I took care of her and our two boys, everything (including credit) was in my name, so I just kept all the debt, because I could not trust her to pay anything. She left me $100,000 in debt and I (not her) continued to financially support our two children that were in college. I’m in my mid-50s, it would be nice to put a good size dent in all this debt, and I really would appreciate assistance.

URGENT PLEA: $4,400 Needed by May 1, 2025, to Save Our Home

I’m writing this message with a heavy heart, desperately reaching out for help during a time when our future is hanging in the balance. We are facing a crisis that threatens to take away the home we have worked so hard to keep—a place where we have built our lives over the years. We urgently need to come up with $4,400 by May 1st, 2025, or we will lose our home due to missed mortgage payments.

My husband, who has devoted 40 years to his skilled trade, recently had his hours dramatically cut back last October. This reduction in work is something he has never experienced in the four decades of his career—the last time such a setback occurred was over 30 years ago. Despite his lifelong dedication to his profession, the slowdown in work has left us financially strained and struggling to meet our basic obligations. When we tried to seek help through unemployment benefits, we faced further setbacks. His application was denied because he remains employed, and even after appealing the decision, we were met with the same unfortunate outcome. This has been a crushing blow, adding to our anxiety as we navigate this crisis.

In our desperate bid to keep our home and cover essential expenses, we recently reached out to emergency assistance programs. Unfortunately, we were informed that they couldn’t provide help because the state had not allocated any funds for this purpose. With our credit cards maxed out and no other source of financial relief available, we find ourselves cornered with very few options. My husband has started taking on a part-time job and is actively looking for additional work, but these efforts are simply not enough to bridge the significant gap in our finances. I, due to a disability, am unable to work and am not receiving Social Security benefits, which further compounds our difficulties.

This situation is overwhelming, especially at our age, as we never imagined we would face such an uncertain future. The thought of losing our home is terrifying, not only because of the financial loss but also because of the emotional toll it would take on our well-being. Our home is more than just a building—it’s a sanctuary filled with memories, a place where we have celebrated joys, weathered hardships, and found solace. The possibility of losing it leaves us feeling vulnerable, scared, and in desperate need of support.

We are reaching out in hopes that someone, somewhere, can extend a helping hand during this critical moment. Any assistance, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and could make the difference between keeping our home and facing homelessness. We are truly desperate, and we humbly ask for any help, advice, or support you can offer to help us overcome this dire challenge. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering our appeal in these desperate times.

Help Lucas Revive and Expand His Auto Detailing Dream

Hello, my name is Lucas and I am 31 years old. Recently, my life took an unexpected turn. I am epileptic, and after a seizure, I suffered a fall that resulted in a clot, further aggravating my health condition. This has prevented me from working as I used to, putting the future of my business, which is my livelihood and passion, at risk.
I run a mobile auto detailing and upholstery cleaning service, where I travel to clients’ homes to wash their cars or clean their upholstery. I have a friend who helps me with the business, and lately, only he has been able to perform the services at clients’ homes. Since I am not out on the streets, the business has suffered a significant financial deficit, and we are on the brink of closing, as the company is earning less than it spends monthly.
I am asking for your help to keep my business running while I recover. I need to raise $10,000 to settle the company’s debts and expand in a way that generates more revenue. This includes setting up another van, which will allow us to increase revenue and hire more staff. I don’t want to give up on my dream. I love working with cars, and this is how I support myself and my family. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in my life and give me the chance to continue fighting for my dreams. I am deeply grateful for any support you can offer. Together, we can overcome this challenge. Thank you very much!

Assistance Needed for a Disabled Vet and Retired Law Enforcement Officer with Family

I am a medically retired law enforcement officer and a proud disabled veteran, but also as a dedicated mother and wife (my husband is also a disabled vet).  I find myself in a challenging situation that has compelled me to seek your support.

After dedicating 18 and a half years of my life to a career in law enforcement, I was medically retired due to multiple sclerosis. This disease has introduced numerous obstacles, making it difficult for me to maintain financial stability. Despite my commitment to serving my community and my country, I now find myself burdened with a debt of $100,000. This situation has not only affected my financial health but has also had a ripple effect on my family.

I have three wonderful children—one just graduated from college, one is in college, pursuing her dreams, while my youngest is a 14-year-old navigating high school. I work tirelessly to provide for them, but managing both a chronic illness and financial hardship has proven incredibly difficult. The weight of this debt is overwhelming, and it feels particularly heavy knowing that my children are depending on me for their future.

I want to assure you that I do not take this lightly. I am using this platform because I wholeheartedly believe in the power of community and compassion. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, would be invaluable in helping me regain my footing and provide a stable environment for my children.
