Hey, I’m Jimmy, and after 14 years in law enforcement, I have decided to leave.
I have proudly served my community and know that I have positively influenced many people that I have came in contact with. I am now seeking to start my own business. I am not doing this for just my own future, but also to provide a better life and greater opportunities for my seven year old son, I am a full-time single father. I plan to start an asphalt maintenance business. The services that I will offer is asphalt crack repair, pothole filling, sealcoating, line striping/re-striping, and power washing. I have put in a lot of research into this and I know that there is a great opportunity for success due to minimal competition, not only in my county, but surrounding counties as well. My target customers would be businesses with asphalt parking lots and homeowners with asphalt driveways. I have a diverse work background that includes customer service, door-to-door sales, car sales, food preparation, and inventory tracking. This combination of experience has equipped me with valuable skills, such as strong communication, organization, salesmanship, and attention to detail, that are essential qualities for operating and growing a successful business. Also, my years in law enforcement have provided me with a disciplined work ethic, problem-solving capabilities, and a strong sense of responsibility and community service.
