Trying to catch up financial hardship

Dear BeggingMoney Community,

I am writing this with humility and hope. I have been struggling with serious financial hardship, and it has taken a heavy toll on my lives.

One of the biggest challenges right now is my car. It has major problems that I cannot afford to repair and payments. it’s difficult for me to get to work consistently Because of this setback, my wife has been forced to take on the full burden of our household expenses. While I am grateful for her strength, it has left me feeling depressed, overwhelmed, and guilty that she is carrying everything on her own.

We are doing our best to push forward, but the weight of falling behind financially has made it very hard to see a way out. I am reaching out to ask for help in this moment of need. Any support you could offer would go directly toward repairing my car and helping us catch up on essential expenses, which would give us the chance to breathe again and work toward stability. Over 7,000 on the loan but repairs could cost up to 3,000. I’m in a loss on what to do. My credit is not the greatest and just making it hard to get a head financial with other obligations.

Even a small contribution would mean more than words can express. Your kindness would not only help us financially but would also bring me hope during a time when I have been struggling with discouragement.

Thank you for reading my story and for considering helping me and my family.

With gratitude,

Bryan

Relocating Funds for daughter and I to get away from Abuse

Due to husband and her father’s addictions we are literally losing everything and doesn’t seem that the law truly understands the safety issues of living like this because they are just not helpful or make the situation worse. My daughter is autistic and has come so far with behavior and social skills that she finally doesn’t even have a special ed classification. But due to his manipulation just to play a mental game that shouldn’t be played with children involved he is slowly messing with routines and changing things that mess up her whole schedule. Just telling her to shower at a different time messes her up and he does it on purpose because he can. I have tried to have him removed and it’s causing a safety issue so I will leave the house I own with my daughter to get us mental peace and her living away from this insanity, I just do not have the fund for first and security or to replace anything we will have to leave. This is taking every bit of dignity I have left but she deserves so much better, and we deserve to not live in fear

Please help a single mom start over!

Hi everyone!

My job relocated me and my children to a new state where we know absolutely nobody. Two weeks in they let a bunch of us go. I went ahead and found myself two jobs however those jobs didn’t start immediately so I couldn’t pay my rent. On top of this all, I was unable to make my car payment. I know I am asking of a lot but, I’m hoping somebody sees this and is willing to help out a mom keep her house and her kids happy. Since moving here, my son has become a social butterfly. He used to be closed off and never left his room. He has now joined many clubs at school and even sports. My other child was suicidal prior to the move he is only 6 years old. He is now very happy and doing WONDERFUL. My daughter is only three and she is making friends on her school and thriving. And I don’t want to pack up and leave where we are finally able to live life the way we have always dreamed of living. So I am asking for help with $2,700 to keep our home and my car to get to and from work. I do appreciate any and all donations made to me. Thank you for reading and helping us out!!

Urgent Help Needed: Facing Jail Without $4800 by October 1st

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my request. I never thought I would be in a position where I would need to reach out to strangers for help, but life has put me in a very difficult situation, and I am running out of options.

I am a single parent, the sole support for my children, and I am working two full-time jobs just to keep a roof over our heads in a very expensive tourism-based town. Every bit of my income goes towards the rent, utilities, food, transportation, and the basic necessities of raising my family.

Unfortunately, even with working around the clock, I have come up short in a critical area that would change the course of our lives.

More than nine years ago, I made some mistakes while under the influence of alcohol. I immediately took responsibility for my actions. I served time in the justice system, in a very intense solution-based program that I am forever grateful for. I also sought traditional treatment on my own, and after completion have never turned back to alcohol again.

My recovery is something I am extremely proud of. I am a huge part of local Alcoholics Anonymous and Celebrate Recovery chapters. I also work with other women of addiction/alcoholism- if it could happen to me, it could literally happen to anyone.

I have been doing everything in my power to build a stable and healthy life for myself and my children, we have come so far with emotional healing and rebuilding. But part of moving forward means completing the obligations of probation.

Right now, I am facing a deadline that I cannot meet on my own. By October 1st, I must pay the remainder of $4800 to the court in order to be compliant and complete probation. I have done everything else that they have asked of me, but if I cannot come up with this final amount in time, the consequence is going back to jail. That would mean being taken away from my children, losing both my jobs, and devastating the stability I have been working so hard to provide for my family. We all just want and need this nightmare to finally be behind us- as they tell me, they have their “supermom” back.

I am not asking for luxuries or extras- just for help in meeting this very specific and very urgent need. Every single dollar would help us get closer to this $4800 goal, and every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference in keeping my children’s lives intact. They would not only be missing me, they would lose friends, a school they love, numerous sports programs, and other extracurricular activities that they also have worked hard to build up.

I would like to emphasize that I am committed to continuing to work hard, remain sober, and provide for my children. I am also a full-time student with Abilene Christian University, and am slated to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Mental Health and Addiction in March of 2026. I will continue to always work towards my recovery, and the recovery of others as well.

This request is not about giving up responsibility- and I have no problem with repaying any help given to me. This is simply about asking for a little grace in a moment that I can simply not do it alone.

Thank you so much for your time, your compassion, and for any help you can give. I don’t entirely understand how this works, but if you are still reading, you are someone with a helping heart, and I am beyond grateful that you exist. Thank you for reading our journey, I pray that some help will be able to end this nightmare, and we can finally move on with our happy and normal lives.

With extreme gratitude,

Ann Rott

Rental assistance, please

For ten years, I dedicated myself to my family, tirelessly working seven days a week as a theater janitor to provide for them. This unwavering commitment, however, came at a significant cost to my own health. Years of relentless work prevented me from seeking necessary medical attention, leading to a critical deterioration in my well-being. The 2020 closures forced me to deplete my savings, setting the stage for a precarious financial existence characterized by constant paycheck-to-paycheck living and mounting debt. Even after regaining stability, the unexpected eviction notice 60 days before our move added immense stress, further exacerbating my health problems.

The move itself, undertaken to secure a new home for my family, pushed me beyond my physical limits. The strain of the relocation, coupled with the long commute, ultimately culminated in a car accident that forced me to confront my deteriorating health. Medical tests revealed dangerously high blood pressure and sugar levels, requiring immediate medical attention and rest. Despite my desperate need for time off, I continued working, driven by my responsibility to provide for my family. However, my pleas for temporary assistance were ultimately met with termination, leaving me without an income and facing an uncertain future.

Now, facing unemployment and mounting medical expenses, I humbly request assistance to support my family. A contribution of $5,000 would provide invaluable stability during this challenging period. In addition, any leads on suitable employment opportunities would be deeply appreciated. My unwavering dedication and commitment to my responsibilities, coupled with my resilience in the face of adversity, make me a valuable asset to any organization. I am eager to return to work and rebuild my life, and I am confident that with your support, I can achieve this goal. And i thank you Already!

Help a family of 5 stay in their home

Hello, my name is Deneea. I have 3 daughters and I also take care of my younger sister. We are scheduled to be evicted tomorrow morning if we don’t come up with $2,929.  I am a single mom who has recently lost my support system due to cancer. This year has been very hard as I suffer from severe anxiety and I am also in search of a job so that I can catch up on my bills. I have not been able to afford birthday gifts, school clothes or shoes, and so much more. Please help us not to be displaced. One of my daughter’s birthday is in 11 days and I would hate to start her birthday homeless. Thank you.

Keep a Roof Over My Head After a False Accusation

For over 20 years, I worked diligently in IT, building a stable and independent life. In a devastatingly short amount of time, that life has been completely dismantled by a perfect storm of betrayal, a severe mental health crisis, and a legal system that failed to protect an innocent person.

It started when a repetitive strain injury from overwork ended my 13-year career. My employer, who I considered family, let me go and dodged their responsibility by stringing me along with minimal freelance work until it was too late for me to file for short-term disability.

I fought to rebuild. I sold my house to free up equity, planning to downsize into a manageable home I could own outright, creating a stable base to launch a new invention-based business. The proceeds from that sale are my entire life savings and my only shield against homelessness.

Then, catastrophe struck. My former partner, who suffers from severe, untreated schizoaffective disorder, destroyed our home during a psychotic episode. As I calmly left to de-escalate the situation, she injured herself. When police arrived, she falsely accused me of assault.

Despite providing irrefutable proof of my innocence—including her own recantation, witness testimony, and a documented history of identical prior incidents that police had correctly identified as mental health crises—I was arrested, jailed, and slapped with a protection order.

This order was the final, crushing blow. It locked me out of the property I was still legally leasing, severing my access to over $80,000 worth of business inventory—my only means of generating income. It trapped my possessions alongside the person who destroyed them. Most cruelly, it has prevented me from using the funds from my home sale to secure a new home, as I am trapped in a legal nightmare, forced to spend my finite savings on lawyers and temporary housing instead of stability.

I am now watching the money for my future house—my last chance at security—drain away every single day to fight a charge that should never have been filed. I am facing down the very real prospect of homelessness because the system chose to ignore the truth.

I am innocent. I am a victim of circumstance and a failed process. And without help, I will lose everything.

How the Funds Will Be Used

My entire future hinges on securing this one property. The opportunity to own a home outright—my one chance at stability—is slipping away each day as my funds drain on legal battles and survival. This is a strategic investment to prevent total financial collapse.

Every single dollar you contribute will be dedicated to one goal: securing the house and making it a livable foundation from which I can rebuild.

  • $10,000+ Bridge Funding to Close the Gap: This is the critical, immediate need. The proceeds from my home sale are being depleted by legal fees and the exorbitant cost of temporary housing. This money will directly cover the shortfall to ensure the sale of this specific house can be completed, protecting me from the rental market and homelessness.

  • Essential Repairs & Move-In Costs ($2,500): The property needs immediate, vital repairs to be safe and habitable (e.g., lock changes, minor fixes). This also includes costs for turning on utilities and securing insurance.

  • Legal Fees to Secure Access & My Future ($2,500+): A portion must continue to fund the legal battle to dissolve the protection order and clear my name. This is non-negotiable; without a clean record, my ability to work and rebuild is permanently crippled. This is an investment in restoring my ability to earn an income.

This isn’t just a donation for a house. It’s a rescue mission to:

  • Stop the financial bleeding caused by daily legal and living costs.

  • Create permanent stability so I can focus on healing and working, not on where I’ll sleep next month.

  • Protect my last chance to own an asset and have a foundation for my future.

The $10,000 goal is the minimum required to stop the immediate crisis. Every day of delay increases this amount. Your support is the barrier between me and irreversible loss.

I have always valued my independence and worked hard for what I had. To ask for help like this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I am not asking you to take sides in a legal case; I am asking you to help provide the most basic human need: shelter.

Please, if you are able, contribute to helping me get a safe place to live. If you cannot donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world to me.

Thank you for your compassion and for helping me find solid ground again.

Emergency Support for Me & My Service Dog

My name is Ed. I’m 44, permanently disabled, and living with the reality that I may only have a few years left due to complications from two failed TPIAT (pancreas) transplant surgeries. Doing my best to stay positive, and one of the main reasons I can is my service dog, Cassie. She has already saved my life once. She is an Australian cattle dog that I rescued after she had suffered terrible abuse. Her former owner killed her puppies in front of her and even shot her. Despite everything, she is completely dedicated to me. We rely on each other—she helps me physically and emotionally, and I give her the safety and love she deserves. I live on $1,154 a month from SSDI. For almost three years, I’ve managed to keep a roof over our heads in a small one-bedroom apt. But recently, the property was sold, and the new owner has made life here impossible. Since April, construction crews have broken into my home without notice, ripped out my air conditioning, destroyed my security cameras and lights, and left me surrounded by constant noise and damage from morning to night. They even ruined my $3,000 medical bed, which I depend on. It is a clear attempt to drive me out through constructive eviction. Because of the chaos, I had to board Cassie for her own safety which has cost me everything i have and been devastating for me. My lease is up soon, I have no savings to cover first month’s rent and deposit elsewhere, and my truck needs $600 in repairs just to stay running. I’m stuck in an impossible position, and the stress is making my health worse. I never thought I would have to ask for help like this. I don’t want to sound like I’m begging always tried to be independent—heck, I used to own my own successful lawn and landscaping business and employ and helped others…Ivebnever asked for help, but this is an emergency…What I need is support to secure a safe place for Cassie and me to live, cover moving expenses, and make sure I can get to medical appointments. Every contribution will go directly toward starting fresh somewhere safe. Cassie and I have both survived a lot, and we’re determined to keep going together. If you can help, I would be deeply grateful. Even sharing this with others makes a difference. I truly appreciate your help and ever dollar will go to securing the sage housing we need 1st and then the repair of my truck…Thank you from the bottom of my heart…

In need of help with unexpected debt

Hi

I am reaching out to this community for help because I have nowhere else to turn. In the last several months, I have been slapped with surprise after surprise of financial debt.

In February 2023, the start-up company I work at began to fold. I was given notice that my final day was March 31st. I was receiving severance, and my insurance (that was 100% covered) would end on April 15. I already had my doctor’s appointments scheduled prior to the notice, so I wasn’t concerned. Lo and behold, on June 5th of this year, I received an $ 11,257 medical bill. My previous employer ended my coverage on March 20th, 2025, 3 weeks sooner than I was told. Now I’m stuck with this bill that I can’t afford.

It took me 8 months to find the job I have now, and I make significantly less money than I did before.

Then, my fiancé (now Ex) somehow got into my safe, where I kept all of my rainy day credit cards, and maxed them all out. Two cards are maxed at $5000, and the other is maxed at $2000. The engagement ring she claims to have “misplaced” is  $10,000, and the down payment on the wedding was $5000.

I am doing my best to get back on steadier ground, but these surprises keep knocking the wind out of me. I am barely covering my rent and basic living expenses. With nearly $40,000 worth of debt, I am at the end of my rope.

If you can find it within your means to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and attention.

Thank you and God Bless!

Need some help with medical bills

My name is DeDe. I am a 46 year old mom of 2 adults, married to an amazing husband and father.

For years I have dealt with some female issues but it finally came to a head about a year ago. I started my period but then it grew very very heavy and I bled for 61 days. Those days consisted of an ER Visit, urgent care visit, doctor visits, new family doctor, fibroids, prolapsed fibroid, biopsy, new obgyn, heavy bleeding, anemia, lightheaded, nausea, weakness, hard time sleeping, always feeling tired, had to quit my job as a lunch lady, not walking as I usually do, headaches, iron pills, high amounts of birth control pills to help control bleeding, lots of anxiety, waiting and more waiting, never feeling well, etc. it finally ended with getting a hysterectomy and 3 blood transfusions and lots of healing.

And just when I thought my troubles were over – the insurance decided that they weren’t going to cover my hospital stay – despite my doctors writing to them and despite getting pre authorization. They determined that they would pay for all the other stuff but they wouldn’t pay for the hospital stay which ended up being $49,000.

This has been such a hardship for us. My husband works so hard and we try to help people and live a good life. I am a lunch lady and have a small graphic design business. My son is autistic and still lives at home with us and our daughter is going to college. We are struggling with debt and paying for my daughter’s schooling.

If there is anyone who could help us pay this medical debt – it would be a true answer to prayers. Thank you for listening and being our angels on this earth.

Thank you.

Emergency Moving Help

Hello friends,

Thank you for reading my request. We have discovered our apartment has mold in the heating and air ducts. This is our second apartment in this complex due to another mold issue in the prior unit. I’m disabled with lupus and this has caused me to have nosebleeds, ringing in the ears and severe headaches. My son has been experiencing breakouts with hives off and on the last sixth months. I need $6100.00 to do this. I found a home and they require first month’s rent, deposit and this includes a truck with three helpers to get it done. We could move in by September 6, 2025. Any help you could give is greatly appreciated! I found out last week that I have some hearing loss. This was caused from the ringing and the mold. @paypal.me/emeraldt59
I’d like to send you warm wishes and blessings.

Sincerely, A weary mom

Creamation dream

My wife of 23 years died unexpectedly recently. I wasn’t ready for this and never imagined that she would go first. The cost of the cremation was more than I could handle. The social services dept advamced the cost and I am to pay them back before I can have her ashes. During our time together we had talked about things like this and agreed that if she died she would want to be cremated and her ashes be spread in Wisconsin at the same place her grandmother and mother now rest. I am a disabled veteran and on social security and don’t make much. I want to fulfill her request but just don’t have the financial means. I am asking for help. Paypal@Ri kySmith870

For my FGM Reconstructive Surgeries

Donate for my FGM Reconstructive Surgeries – End My 12 Years of Pain

My Story

I am a 23-year-old girl born and raised in America. At 11, after finishing my 5th grade, I travelled with my family to a ‘summer vacation’ in their homeland where I was subjected to female genital mutilation (FGM) — a violent act disguised as tradition. My stay there was prolonged, and I remained there for several years, returning to America again during my second year of high school.

For years, I didn’t understand what happened to me — only that basic bodily functions became sources of pain. This experience remained a puzzle in the background of my memory, something I didn’t understand but was simply there.

My Struggles

I grew up accustomed to constant pain during basic biological functions:

  1. Burning with urination
  2. Stabbing nerve pain when sitting too long
  3. Throbbing discomfort during walks
  4. Tight clothes rubbed my scars raw; that’s why I didn’t wear any
  5. Exercise became impossible
  6. Every month, I suffer from excruciating pain and extremely heavy periods

yet I assumed it all was normal or something all girls experienced. The chronic pain left me exhausted, anxious, and isolated — I missed out on friendships, dates, and simple joys because I was always in pain. I structured my life around coping with the pain, unaware for years that it wasn’t something every woman endured.

I was struggling mentally and psychologically,, still, with severe depression because I can’t engage in daily life. I feel like a prisoner inside my own body.

My Late Awareness

At university, I realized the truth: what they called ‘Purification’ or ‘Purity’ was actually FGM — an illegal mutilation that scarred me for life.

I learned about its effects and realized:

  1. The source of my constant physical pain, after even the slightest exertion.
  2. The difficulty of living a normal life.
  3. The impossibility of practicing any sport I wanted to try due to the physical deformity I suffered.
  4. I couldn’t even do jobs that required physical effort.

What I LOST

I missed out on simple joys like cycling because I was always in pain. I grew up wanting to try skating on roller shoes and playing basketball, but physically, I wasn’t able to do so. I grew up suppressing my needs and desires out of pain.

I wanted to get out with my friends more. I wanted to have close friends, but I couldn’t open up to people. I missed out on childhood adventures because my body couldn’t keep up. I wish I had more memories with friends and people growing up, not withdrawing into myself.

My Hope: Reconstructive Surgeries

While there isn’t surgery that can fully “reverse” FGM, there are certain reconstructive surgeries that can help reduce and eliminate pain and reduce FGM complications.

After I consulted with several gynaecologists and female reproductive surgeons, they suggested that I need 3 medically necessary surgeries to reduce FGM-related complications. These surgeries are recommended by The World Health Organization (WHO) for FGM survivors with chronic pain and complications.

With these surgeries, I dream of trying to do the sports I wanted to try and finally living without pain. Exercise like normal people do, these surgeries will give me a chance to live the simple joys that I missed as a child and wanted to do while growing up and couldn’t.

How your donation helps me and gives me Hope!

Your donation will help me:

  1.  End my daily suffering — no more burning urination, stabbing nerve pain, or mobility limitations.
  2.  Eliminate serious health risks caused by FGM complications.
  3.  Restore basic bodily functions.
  4.  Rebuild my confidence and emotional well-being.
  5.  Give me back my future — the ability to work, exercise, and experience relationships without pain.

And beyond physical healing, these procedures represent restoring hope for a normal, empowered life full of dignity.

After 12 years of suffering, these surgeries are my chance to finally heal my physical and emotional wounds.

Though partially funded, I still need $18,000 USD to schedule them by late November.

Because of your donation, I’ll soon make peace with my owb body. Every contribution brings me closer to healing.

I’m deeply grateful, and one day, I’ll pass this kindness forward.
