To rent a new place- need £800

I’m reaching out in the hope that you might be able to help me during an incredibly challenging time in my life. Unfortunately, I’ve recently found myself in a difficult financial situation due to circumstances beyond my control.

I had been working full-time and was managing my finances well. However, I lost my job unexpectedly, and despite my best efforts to find new employment, I haven’t been successful so far. This loss of income has put a significant strain on my financial stability.

To make matters worse, I’ve received an eviction notice from my landlord. With my financial situation deteriorating, I’m struggling to find a new place to stay. I’m facing the very real possibility of becoming homeless if I don’t act quickly.

I’m reaching out to ask if you might be able to contribute any amount to help me get back on my feet. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a huge difference. Your support could help me cover some of the costs associated with finding a new place to live, such as deposits, rent, or other essential expenses.

I want to assure you that I’m doing everything in my power to resolve this situation. I’m actively job hunting and seeking support from local services to get back on my feet. Your contribution would be a significant boost to my efforts and would give me the hope and motivation I need to keep moving forward.

Thank you for taking the time to read my message. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to me during this difficult time. If you’re able to contribute, please know that every little bit counts, and I’m grateful for your support.

I’m confident that with your help, I’ll be able to get back on my feet and start rebuilding my life. Your support would be a vital lifeline, and I’m grateful for your consideration.

God please forgive me, I have messed up

Hi my name is Carmen and I have completely messed everything up, I became a Christian 9 years ago and God has blessed me in many different ways since becoming one. My past life was always bad and I thought I had come through living in the flesh. I got married and had a child over the past 4 years and I have lived a wonderful life. Over the past few years, I have gotten myself into 30k worth of Debt and I have been spiraling out of control with it. To make matters worse Recently I had an ex boyfriend demand money from me that I owed him from several years ago, I got very scared and did the unthinkable and borrowed 10k from my mother in law to pay him back, I didn’t tell her or my husband what the money was for, so I have now paid that back but can’t pay her back or the other 30k. I have since told my husband the truth, he has now demanded we separate and he wants shared custody of our son. He wants me out of the house, I am not in a position to even rent a property so I really don’t know what I am going to do. I have been to the pastor of my church to tell him so I can feel less of a weight on my shoulders but my husband is not speaking to me, he is adamant he wants me out of the house, I just don’t know what to do. I wanted to set up the go fund me page so I can pay the debt I owe to my mother in law and other things and then I can see if I can try and make a mends and build the bridges. I would never come on something like this and disclose information but I really don’t know what else to do. I feel ashamed and guilty for what I have done and I am leaning on God as much as I can and praying through this situation.
i am sorry to everyone I have hurt and I hope you can one day forgive me.

A Fresh Start/ Pick me up

Hi
My name is Kyle and im 22 years old, i feel embarrassed to be in a postion where im asking for help but i don’t know where else to turn to. Ive got £1000 pounds in debts

Since my father passed away 3 years ago I’ve been financially supporting my mother where I can and also supporting my partner who I’ve been with for two years, we are both currently trying to save up together to live together permanently as she is currently foreign to the country, unfortunately as i have been the only stable income between me and my partner, supporting both my mother and partner has meant I’ve had to loan money where my income is not enough as im early in career, im not in a high postion or earning enough to be able to support both.

However, i feel things are now starting to take a turn for the good as both my mum and partner are in better postions now however the impact of debts is still felt and i want to pick myself up again and clear these debts before the interest on them raises to a point where I’m unable to support not just a loved one but potentially myself.

Even if it’s just a fraction of the £1000 pound debt, any amount would go a long way.

Eternally Grateful for you taking the time even just to read this.

Kyle

My story – my Testimony

When I was six years old I saw kids beaten in school to a pulp just because they did not have a rubber or a pencil- sometimes the whole classroom was punished. By this i mean taken outside and with a rubber lash kids would be beaten until they bleed.  I was never beaten because the teachers scorned me that I was too skinny, that if they even slapped me, they said I would simply die, because I was skinny. This is when I promised myself that when I grow up and have a child I would not raise my child in Africa. I was terrified. I am a musician. I did grow and got married and had a son. My husband and I decided to help raise young men from poor families and train them to be good citizens. We did this from our own savings. I was married in a very difficult  extended family and life became unbearable. The missionaries I served through my singing as a fund-raiser advised me to move away. Here in the U.K. I was fortunate to raise and school my son. Our life took a turning which left us very sad and desperate. My husband who still lived in Kenya, and had always “one more thing to do” before he came to join us – passed on with aids. Luckily I was living away from him for 10 years.  i had left on time.  I continued to send funds to help families I knew through the Churches I served because I was very passionate concerning this call that I felt I had. I helped pay school fees for children, and sent funds for various helps. What people did not know is that I had no money… nor a home, I just lived with friends. My son has grown to a wonderful young man and together we would talk and this is when he opened up a recording studio here in Bath. This is mainly just a project and those who have loved him occasionally pay a small sum to have their music recorded. He is amazing. We stay with a very good friend, but he is getting older and often times we are afraid we might not make the rent because this keeps going up! In the meantime, we have been through meningitis (my son), pneumonia (my friend) and Covid. I am by nature an interior/exterior/designer/ landscaper who loves to help do anything to make people happy as I recreate their homes. Both my son and I love working. I wonder whether there is someone out there who has an abandoned home which they do not need. /965I know we can create a home even without anything because we are not afraid of work. Having a home will help us have a proper base to live and promote those children in Africa who are suffering.  Thank you.

Seeking support to complete My Film Production Master’s at Salford

Dear Sir/Ma,

I hope this message meets you well.

I am reaching out with a heavy heart, hoping you will understand the difficult situation I am facing. Two months ago, I lost my dear sister very suddenly after a brief, intense illness. The shock of her passing has been deeply painful for my family and me, and the unexpected hospital bills have left us in a challenging financial position.

Despite this loss, I have worked incredibly hard over the last few months to pay my school fees and stay committed to my dream of studying for a Master’s in Film Production at the University of Salford. I have taken on extra responsibilities, sought part-time work, and reached out to family and friends to continue my education. My passion for storytelling and belief in the power of film have kept me motivated through these difficult times.

However, the recent events have made it impossible for me to keep up with my remaining tuition payments. My last installment tuition payment of £3,500 is due this month. If I am unable to pay this balance, the university will be forced to cancel my student visa, and I will lose the opportunity to complete my degree. This is devastating, as I have invested so much effort, time, and hope into my education. My journey to the University of Salford has been marked by resilience and deep commitment, and I am desperate not to let these circumstances end my studies prematurely.

I am reaching out with humility and hope, asking for any assistance or guidance you might be able to offer. Your support would help me continue my education and honor my sister’s memory, whose strength continues to inspire me.

Thank you for considering my request. Any help, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated.

“Help Me Reunite With My Daughter and Give Her a Better Future”

Hello everyone,

Please, I need financial help. I want to apply for a UK visa for my 17-year-old daughter, who is struggling in South Africa. I’m a Support Worker in the UK and don’t earn much. I live with my husband, who lost his job five years ago due to kidney failure. Since undergoing a major operation, no one wants to employ him.

I’m the only one working, supporting both our household here in the UK and my family in South Africa, where my daughter still lives. My mother, who looks after my daughter, is no longer able to work due to arthritis, which affects her mobility. My two sisters are also struggling to find jobs, so everyone depends on me.

I would like to bring my daughter to the UK so she can continue her education and hopefully get a part-time job to help ease our situation. I need £3,000 to submit her visa application.

Please, any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance.

No where else to turn

Hi,

I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life.

Like many, I’ve faced unexpected challenges over the past year that have left me in serious debt — a mix of two quick maternity leaves and some ridiculous financial decisions. Since my two sets of twins, I’ve done everything I can to stay afloat, including cutting expenses, taking on side work, and trying to restructure my payments, but it’s simply not enough right now. I got into a vicious cycle of debt to try and repay debt.

I’m asking for support — not because it’s easy, but because I truly need it. I’m currently working full time plus trying to constantly sort out childcare for my 4 baby girls. I had to go back to work to pay my bills. However I don’t have enough now for food and petrol. I’ve maxed out every bit of credit I can get. Time has run out.

My goal is to raise £40,000 to cover the most urgent parts of what I owe and to stop the financial spiral before it gets worse. I know times are hard for many, so if you can give anything — I’d be incredibly grateful. I’m stressed and anxious all the time and want to provide a good life for my girls, but at the moment even affording their milk is a challenge.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your kindness means more than you know.

With gratitude,

Mortgage

My name is Debora , and I am a full-time caregiver who has dedicated my life to supporting others in their time of need. Today, I find myself on the other side of that equation — humbly asking for help to buy my house.

I have always taken great pride in caring for others, often putting their needs before my own. Whether it’s assisting elderly clients with daily tasks, offering emotional support, or simply being a comforting presence — I’ve done it with love and compassion. However, as many caregivers know, this work, while deeply fulfilling, is not always financially secure.

I take great pride in, as it allows me to serve and support those in need within our community. Despite the demanding nature of the job and the modest income it provides, I have managed to save £10,000 through careful budgeting and persistent effort.

However, we are still £25,000 short of fully paying off our mortgage, and the deadline to complete the payments is fast approaching. Owning this home would provide our family with long-term stability and security—a place where our children can grow up feeling safe, loved, and rooted.

We have exhausted all other options, and it is with great respect that I turn to you for assistance. Any support you can offer—whether financial or by connecting us with other resources or potential supporters—would mean the world to us and would bring us one step closer to achieving our dream of a permanent, stable home.

Please know that we do not take this request lightly. We are committed to paying it forward, and your kindness would not only impact our lives today but would be remembered and honored for years to come.

If you are in a position to help — whether by donating or sharing this campaign — I would be incredibly grateful. Every single contribution brings me one step closer to securing my home and continuing the work I love with peace of mind.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness could be the lifeline that helps me through this storm.

Volunteer Nurse needing mortgage paid so she can go back permanently to Syria

My name is Sarah and I’ve been a nurse in the UK now for over 10 years. (I’ve been slightly grey haired for a while!) I’m looking for funding in order to become a full time volunteer nurse, initially based in Syria. Hence the need to clear my mortgage.

I’ve just returned home from Syria, where, as a volunteer nurse for an American charity I set up and ran a family/general practice clinic in a small town with a variety of drs and another nurse. During my time there I did everything. I was the nurse, HCA, pharmacist, cleaner, Tech support, medical equipment fixer, translator, on call service, first aide, occupational therapist and Physiotherapist to name a few. It was amazing. The patients I helped had been through so much during the previous regime and most had v. little.  The team I worked with were also soooo amazing. They put up tents, cleaned, plumbed, wired, cemented, sorted, sanded, dug and supported each other in too many ways to count or mention I was heartbroken to leave but had a house and bills to pay. The clinic is under the flight path of rockets and missiles going in both directions of Israel and Iran. I’m desperate to get back there in the next two weeks to help look after, the team and also the locals or anyone else who needs our medical help.  The charity I went out with and would initially go back to support is https://friendships.org/middleeast/ . You can also see part of what I helped this charity achieve if you have a facebook account and go to https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18PYqXZP2Q/?mibextid=wwXIfr.

Thank you for finding out about me and my dream. I’m sorry we’ve not managed to chat in person so that I could find out about you. I’ve also not been clever enough to attach photos. For now though, would you consider helping cover the costs which involves my mortgage, bills, travel, nursing registration and insurance? For a year and paying off the mortgage, it would cost£56,348.21 ~ US$ 76455 (according to google), or part of my mortgage, to enable us, (you through me,) to support these people? If not, what would you consider? I’m more than happy to supply more information. (I just didn’t want to bore your socks off with calculations!)

Thank you again for taking the time to stop by and thank you for choosing to help this community, and hopefully those further afield in the future. :)

Life has thrown some incredibly tough challenges my way as a single mum, especially after leaving a toxic relationship that left me in significant debt. Medical Assistance

Good day to all good Samaritans here. May God bless you greatly for your good and kind hearts. I’m making this appeal on behalf of my younger sister. We were five siblings in all but just two of us left. She needs urgent hip replacement surgery as she’s now wheelchair bound. My heart is bleeding as I write. I feel so hopeless because I’m not financially stable to support her financially. She’s researched several quotes for the procedure. These quotes have been astronomically high. We’ve managed to find a facility in Turkey who have offered to carry out surgery for £16,000. Please I’m appealing for urgent assistance. I don’t want to lose her. It’s cheaper to help treat her than pay for her funeral. Right now I’ve been able to raise £3000. Please help me complete the payment. They are requesting an initial deposit of £8000 before they can book a date. She’s in extreme agony. Please help us and God will surely reward you. Thanks.

Help Me Rebuild After Assault – At Risk of Losing My First Home

Hi everyone,
My name is Asanti, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency.

Just two months ago, I achieved something I was incredibly proud of: I moved into my very first property at the age of 22. It was the start of a new chapter, one I worked hard for through savings, planning, and dedication. I was excited to finally have a place to call my own.

But everything changed in an instant.

I was assaulted inside my flat, the very place that was supposed to be my safe space. This traumatic experience not only left me injured and emotionally shaken, but it also resulted in significant damage to my home and belongings. Furniture was broken, parts of the property were damaged, and my peace of mind was completely shattered.

Since then, I have been facing a mountain of unexpected expenses, including medical bills, home repairs, and the cost of replacing essential items. I have tried to stay strong and handle things on my own, but I am truly struggling. I am now at serious risk of losing my home and becoming homeless. The financial pressure is overwhelming, and I cannot do this alone.

That is why I am asking for your help.

Your donation will directly support my recovery by covering medical expenses, repairing and renovating my home, replacing damaged furniture, and helping me stay in my property. Every contribution brings me one step closer to stability and safety.

Please consider donating to help me get through this incredibly difficult time. Your support can make a life-changing difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for standing with me during this challenging chapter.

With gratitude,
Asanti

Please help me save my father’s life

Dear Kind Stranger,

My name is Charles, and I am writing to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for help. I came to the UK in 2022 as an immigrant, hoping to build a better future for myself and my family back home in Africa. But life here has been incredibly hard—I recently lost my job, and because of my visa restrictions, I’m struggling just to survive.

Now, I’ve received the most devastating news: my father, the man who sold his property to send me abroad for a chance at a better life, is critically ill. He needs an urgent kidney transplant, and as the eldest of three siblings, the responsibility to help falls on me. Back home in Africa, the cost of such a procedure is overwhelming, and without it, I could lose him forever.

It breaks me that after all he sacrificed for me, I can’t even afford to save his life. I feel helpless, but I’m begging—on my knees—for your kindness. Any amount you can give will bring him one step closer to the surgery he desperately needs.

Please, if you’ve ever been blessed with the love of a parent, imagine the pain of watching them suffer when you can’t help. My father gave me everything; now, I’m praying strangers like you will give him a chance to live.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, sharing, or donating. God bless you.

**With hope,**

Charles
