It all happened on October 23 we were bringing are son home from a football match what we thought was the turbo going in the jeep was a bigger problem. Struggling to get by

Hello, thanks to anyone who will take the time to read this.

I am really struggling to get by. I work a hard and stressful job for very little pay. My mum is sick and I take care of her but it’s a struggle to provide for my family all by myself without any financial support. Our kitchen appliances barely function and it’s hard to keep good food on the table.

My dream is to go to university this year to make a better future for myself and my family. I am prepared to work as hard as I need to but I am asking for some help to get me going. I don’t know how im going to come up with the money to study but any help would go a long way, no matter how big or small. Even if it’s just to help with food or bills. Hi, my name is leoni and im in dire need of help.

i have been living with my mom for the majority of my life until my parents split up. i would switch between households, which are two hours apart on train, regularly until my dad got drunk and we had an argument so i got kicked out of his house and I’ve been staying with my mom ever since. unfortunately my mom has now given me a week to move out because i am now 18. this is extremely unfortunate as i need housing whilst waiting to join the military. i live in London and am searching for a job but i have no place to stay so PLEASE help a guy out i dont need anymore than £5,000. renting around London is extremely expensive even for a house share but any help is appreciated.

Job Fell Through – now I can’t pay my mortgage

Hello kind people. Last year I was told I may be made redundant so I started to look fr work. I was offered an amazing six figure contract which was my dream job and I was so thrilled. The catch was it was “urgent” and I had to leave my job soon as they wanted to start the new job in early January ’24. I begged to be let out of my job early so I could start the new contract. I figured I would make the money back really quickly as the new job was paid so much more than the old one.

Amazingly my manager agreed and I left my job forfeiting a month’s money and the chance of any redundancy compensation I may have been owed if indeed they had picked me to be made redundant. As soon as I was out of my new job I was told that the client “hadn’t signed off the contract yet” and I should wait. I waited a month and no contract. I waited another month and still no contract. We are in March now and I am pretty sure it isn’t coming. I have been made unemployed by an unscrupulous employment agent who lined me up for a non-existent job. I feel awful.

I used up most of my life savings during Covid and the rest during 2022 when I slipped a disk. I cannot pay my mortgage this month nor pay my bills. I have been told I should sue the agency that messed me up but I need to find a lawyer.

I have no one else to ask. I have asked all the friends and family that I have helped in the past but everyone seems to be broke. Some don’t take my calls anymore.

I know I will be ok one day. I know I will get another job and be ok again – it is just a matter of time. I am 56 but I know I will be ok one day but I would be really grateful for any help to get me through this month.

When I get back on my feet I will come back here and donate. Because everyone needs help occasionally.

Hello friends!

 

I’m not very good at asking for help, but due to circumstances beyond my control I have very abruptly found myself in dire need of financial assistance.

 

I am a lone parent with no external support network and me and my daughters currently have no food in the fridge and our hygiene products are running out.  I am a caregiver for my youngest who is autistic and I unfortunately have a multitude of physical health problems myself so rely heavily on my other daughter, who amazingly with out a grumble helps where she can. I was able to work part time until recent months where my physical health took a turn.  Ive also been scammed by a car garage who sold me a faulty un road worthy car which has left me massively out of pocket and car less.

Now I find a massive struggle to pay my monthly bills. We have now not had any money to do any essential shopping and unfortunately pay the rent plus credit cards bills now as they are what I have been managing off, which have now reached their limits.

My mental health has taken a drastic turn for the worse which I am trying to seek help from support agencies but waiting lists are long. I am worried and at a loss.

I have worked all of my life of upwards of 60 hours a week and trying to build a career.

last year my partner had a bad accident and hurt their shoulder and has been unable to work – this means that we are unable to pay our bills (mortgage/general etc) and are only just getting more behind

Left in debt by husband

I started a Nursing Degree in January 2023 after working as a Caregiver for 20 years , l was not allowed to study , drive a car or have a siocial life by my husband , l married him when l was 17 in Africa , and we moved to UK over 20 years ago, l didn`t know that the relationship was not normal , he left me in 2006 and went with another woman for tw0 years , and he came back in 2009 and l took  him back , while he was aware , l enrolled for a Foundation Degree , which l finished and also did a topup to be a full degree , when he came back  he later started his controlling behaviour and he denied me opportunities to improve my life , then last year l fought hard with him to enrol for MSc Nursing program , he started an affair with a younger woman from the church where we worshipped together , in June 2023 , he left the house while l was on placement , leaving the front door broken , l paid £300 for the door to be fixed , he cancelled all the bills he was paying , leaving me in debt for force me to drop off the course , l stayed on the course and now l am on my final year, but l am struggling to catch up with the amount of bills he left. l am currently working temporary job while studying and going on placements which are compalsory. l need support to clear the bills and finish my course on the first week of December 2024 and l will be able to work and take care of myself, any donation will be appreciated.

Help a girl catch a break – Seeks stability amidst (health) struggles.

It’s hard to believe when I say I’m not in the business of victimising myself, when I’m asking for money from strangers, but I’m really not. But, truth be told, I’m desperate and weary of battling my astrological 2H chiron, as the stargazers might say.

Life has presented its fair share of hurdles for me. Born as a sickly epileptic child in a country grappling with an insecure healthcare system, I faced adversity from the outset. Despite these obstacles, I defied expectations and successfully obtained a master’s degree through unwavering determination and hard work. From an early age, I embraced a strong work ethic, dedicating myself to various pursuits.I’m a survivor, and hope someone here helps me to keep surviving as I have done for the past ~25 years.

Now, health’s thrown a curveball at me – got hit with endometriosis and fibromyalgia diagnoses six months ago after nearly a decade of grappling with debilitating pain. Tried to soldier on as a Healthcare Assistant, but eventually, I had to throw in the towel. Pushed myself to the limit, but had to accept that it was time to step back completely.

Not to sound too Earl Hicky, but here I am, residing in a homeless hostel, managing with pot noodles and eggs boiled in a kettle. I’m grateful, as I know there are others facing even greater challenges. I understand the difficulties many are dealing with in the current times. Nonetheless, any amount of support would make a profound impact and be received with genuine gratitude. Hopefully, I can pay it forward in the near future.

Single going through hardship

Hello,

I would first like to start off by saying thank you to anyone who provides any assistance and reads my cry for help.

I am a single Mum with 10 years old boy. My son’s biological father left me 7 months pregnant and  refused to even meet or know anything about his son. I never haven’t received any financial help or support from him, rising my boy. I was a mum and dad for my little boy since he was born. When my son was 4 I met one man and after a while I let him in our world. After a couple of years he started abusing me till one day he beated me up in front of my son and checked us out in the street the way we were standing. I was so afraid of him at that time that didn’t press any charges against him and later was too late. Social services (police contacted them) helped us by finding a temporary accommodation where to live. After 9 months we have got a bungalow from Housing Association. Starting from this point, since we lost everything we had, also a job at that time, I hade to make a fresh start for my son, for us. I took a credit to help us to get the main things. Started working 16h a week now, but all I can afford are main bills and food for my son. I am driving an old 2004 year car (the only one I could afford cheapest just to help to get me to work), which is now breaking down and according to the mechanic is not fixable (he said I need a new car as I am driving daily at my own risk). I simply can not afford the new car. All the previous debts, which in total are nearly £8000, car issues, son is need of a laptop (he needs to do homework on it twice a week) is killing me. I am a hard working, but due this incident I have back issues myself and stress, on the top I am still taking my son to the doctors as he has got tinnitus (caused by stress my ex caused) that made me ill. I don’t know how to pay all my debts off, get back on my own feet again and help my son, so he wouldn’t be stressing, would get better with his illness, and wouldn’t stay behind with his learning. And he loves school and learning. I am so stressed so please do excuse my grammar mistakes.

My partner and me are becoming risk of eviction 

He is trying to work as many hours but they have been capped by the company he works in. I have struggled with PTSD and depression so I’m working limited hours for years and we are both trying to have a good income. However around a few months ago he lost most of his shifts due to more recruitment and we had no choice but to take out credit card loans. Family are abroad and unable to help but the debts we’re in are very straining and we are now at risk of eviction because of accumulated rent arrears. We are barely surviving.

Family reunion

My name is Love, I am a wife and mother of two lovely girls.

I am currently on a health and care worker visa and I work as a Healthcare support worker in the United Kingdom where I support vulnerable adults and young adults to maximize their full potential and make every day of their lives count.

I have been separated from my young family for a year now and it is getting to everyone. Single Mum and Widow With Autistic Daughter Seeking Urgent Rent Assistance & New Home

I am requesting personal financial assistance for myself and my Autistic daughter to find a new home. I am 65-year-old mother and widow living alone with my daughter who is 30 years old with Medium Learning Disability Autism. When my Autistic daughter screams during the night, her noise disturbs our neighbours from sleeping and they ask me to stop her from making noise and to do something to make her calm down, which is impossible to do. In 2019, I developed an ulcer on my right ankle. After 2 months, it healed up but I developed another ulcer on my left ankle. Since 2019 this ulcer has not healed, and I am very worried about my health and inability to work and earn enough money for my daughter and me. I have not worked since 2022 as I have no strength to carry on working like I used to because both my legs are now very painful and weak to walk and stand for long period of time.

My main concern that keeps me up all night is how I am going to secure the funds to rent a safe and comfortable home for my daughter and I BEFORE the DEADLINE day, 14 February 2024.

AN URGENT PLEA TO HELP COMPLETE MY TUITION FEES

Good evening.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to ask for assistance in completing my tuition fee and also upkeep for me and my children while I study. I came into the United Kingdom in August 2023 to study for my postgraduate in hope that when I return to my country, I will find a better job that will enable me to be financial stable enough to take care of my children and aged parents.
