Emergency Money For Rent & Utility Bills So We Don’t Get Disconnected From Our Basics

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we find ourselves in desperate need of financial assistance. My name is Tina. My husband & I are self employed. We have a home based HR company. We are owed over $19.5k as of October 16th 2023, but have been unable to collect it from our client, who has just disappeared from the face of this planet. Subsequently, we are in arrears 3 months, and desperately require funds before utilities get disconnected as notification have started to roll in: rent ($3855), utilities ($980)Gas, water & Hydro plus telephone ($300), which totals $5135K. Settling this amount will allow us to retain our residence and utilities plus phones while continuing to apply ourselves to our work and generating revenue for future needs & growth.

We thank you & pray for continued blessings upon you; perhaps one day soon, we can once again lend a helping hand to a fellow brother/sister in need.

Please Help! I Need A Hand Up

The last 3 years have changed my life. I’ve worked as an RN for the past 15 years. I’ve worked in ER, in a care home, ophthalmology, surgery, and medicine. I have even worked 1 year in Saudi Arabia 12 years ago. It’s safe to say I feel confident in my practice.

At the time when the Covid Pandemic started in 2020, I was working as a casual staff where I provided relief for staff that go on vacation or are sick. For 3-4 months when the Covid Pandemic started in 2020, I was lucky if I got 1 -2 shifts a month. I had to utilize the CERB assistance during that time to pay rent and cover other bills. Later in 2020, I got a temporary full-time position. In a span of a year, I was seeing so many changes in regard to policies being pushed out in the hospital I worked in and the other facilities in my area, that it was negatively affecting the care being provided.

I had to make a choice as a healthcare professional if I was going to go along with these changes, knowing it was going against the ethics and nursing standards that have been laid out for many years. I chose to advocate for patient safety. I was ridiculed, bullied, harassed, and eventually fired from my position. Those decisions cost my career. My employer submitted a complaint to my regulatory body about conducting myself unprofessionally, which forced me to give up my license to practice.

During my career as an RN, I wanted to start a real estate investing business and had successfully purchased a rental income property several years. However, since losing my nursing job, I had to sell my rental property just to cover my rent and bills until I could find any job. I had applied for a loan over a year ago and it’s still pending. That delay has really messed me up in the ability to move forward. I’m now facing eviction at the end of November. For the past 2 years, I’ve been trying to find a job and I just recently obtained one as a caregiver, which is a far cry from being an RN. As a result, my rent and bills are mounting. I feel like I’m drowning and it’s very overwhelming at times. I would appreciate a hand up so I don’t lose my place.

I’m asking for $30K to help clear things off and get me back on solid footing. I definitely appreciate more than ever the stress of being behind and potentially losing everything. It’s changed my outlook on things. I’ll definitely pay it forward and help others on this website once I get out of this stressful situation. Thanks so much!

Medical cover

A humble plea for support change my life

Dear kind Donors

I arrived in Canada with my husband and our three children, carrying with us a treasure trove of dreams and hopes. I was determined to enhance my prospects, so I dedicated myself to learning English, a vital skill in this new land. As time went on, I decided to further my education by enrolling in college. However, life had a twist in store for me that I could never have foreseen.

During this journey, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, a devastating blow to my family’s aspirations. The treatment journey was grueling, consisting of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. Despite the pain and challenges, I persevered, determined to fight for a better future for my children.

But life’s trials weren’t over; seven months later, I was faced with yet another daunting diagnosis: brain cancer. This was a turning point, one that tested my spirit to its very limits. With immense courage, I underwent a delicate brain surgery and continued with radiation therapy.

The toll on my body and spirit was significant. I found myself in a position where I could no longer work, and my husband, nearing retirement age, struggled to secure employment. Our financial situation grew dire, and we found ourselves burdened with a substantial debt of $90,000, unable to meet our obligations.

In the face of these challenges, I felt my hopes slipping away, and a sense of helplessness began to consume me. I couldn’t fathom how I would provide for my children, who were my driving force throughout this tumultuous journey. The weight of uncertainty and the fear of not being there for them weighed heavily on my heart.

In these trying times, it feels as though I’m living on borrowed moments, unsure of what the future holds. The one thing that keeps me moving forward is the enduring love and resilience of my family. We hold onto the belief that there is still a glimmer of hope, and that there are kind souls out there who can offer a lifeline to help us navigate this challenging chapter in our lives.

The adversities we face may seem insurmountable, but I hold onto the strength within me, the love of my family, and the belief that there are compassionate individuals who can make a difference. It’s my fervent wish that my children can fulfill their dreams, and I can only hope for the chance to see them achieve the bright future I envisioned when we first set foot in this land of opportunity.

The journey has been long and arduous, but I haven’t given up. I’m a fighter, and I’ll keep fighting for my family, no matter the odds. We may be facing one of life’s darkest chapters, but I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and the power of compassion to light the way forward.

For a good start be my life changing event…

Dear Donor,

My name is Philippe Arguin and I am writing to you today asking for your help. I am passionate about the world of technology and particularly about the domain of cryptocurrencies and online businesses. My goal is to actualize my aspiration and achieve financial independence by setting up online revenue-generating businesses and investing in the economy of the future – cryptocurrencies.

However, to reach this dream, I require an indispensable tool, a laptop and starting funds to invest in cryptocurrencies. Without these two elements, it’s challenging for me to get started and break into this fascinating realm.

This is where you come in. With your generous aid of $10,000, you would be helping me take that leap. This investment would not just allow me to buy the necessary equipment to initiate my projects, but will also pave the way for my adventure into cryptocurrencies.

In return, I guarantee you that your investment into my ambition won’t be in vain. I am determined and prepared to tirelessly work to turn this dream into reality. Ultimately, my goal is to reach a point where I can give back to the community and help others achieve their dreams, just like you’d be helping me today.

I understand that the world of technology and cryptocurrencies may seem risky to some, but with the right strategy and an abundance of resilience, I am confident that I can succeed.

I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read my request and consider helping me out. Each donation, no matter how small, brings a person closer to their dream. In this case, it’d be helping me fulfill mine.

Thank you immensely and best regards,

Philippe Arguin

TUITION FEES FOR AN ORPHAN

Hi. My name is Utanu and I am the aunt of the prospect recipient of your donations. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada where I welcomed my nephew, Haguy Bakafwa. as an international student. So, I am coming to you to humbly beg money on behalf of my nephew Haguy, a brilliant and lovely young from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, now attending the engineering school at the Polytechnique Montreal of the University of Montreal in Canada.  I am writing you to raise funds and help a less fortunate, yet immensely promising young soul achieve his dreams of becoming an Electric Engineer. Haguy is so intelligent and dedicated to his studies that, as a first-year student, he is already part of the student’s Technical Society with the mission to build an electric car and compete internationally. This dream will become possible only with the help of kind-hearted souls like you. Your donation will be greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your support. I asked Haguy to write you and talk to you directly. Here is his letter:

“Hello, everyone,

I’m Haguy, and I’m a 19-year-old international student currently living in Toronto, Canada. I’m pursuing my dream of studying Electrical Engineering as a first-year student at the Polytechnic School of the University of Montreal/Université de Montréal, where my journey began on August 28, 2023. You can find proof of my admission attached.

My goal is to become an Electrical Engineer and make a positive impact by providing clean and renewable energy solutions for our planet. But, to achieve this dream, I need financial support because education is expensive.

I want to share a bit about my background. I’m an orphan; I lost my father in 2019. My mother and my aunt have been my pillars of support, doing their best to take care of me and my three siblings. Thanks to the kindness of someone from my church who believed in me, I received a student visa to Canada. My mother and aunt worked hard to pay for this opportunity. I am forever grateful to that person.

I arrived in Toronto on January 19, 2023, as an international student from the Democratic Republic of Congo. My aunt is helping me with tuition and living expenses. I initially planned to study Electrical Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland after completing an English language program. However, I discovered that the University of Montreal offers the program in French, which is my first language, so I applied and was accepted.

I’ve been in class for a week, but I’m already feeling the financial strain. My aunt has been incredibly supportive, purchasing an expensive laptop for my engineering studies, paying three months of rent in Montreal, and contributing $5,000 toward my $14,500 tuition fee for this fall. The total cost of tuition for a year is $29,000. My aunt also covered my books and provided me with living expenses for the first three months while I looked for a part-time job.

However, her resources are stretched to the limit. She is also dealing with serious health issues and medical bills for my mother, who was in a car accident on the day I left for Canada. My aunt is a strong single mother, but she can’t take on additional work to support me further. Without her help, I won’t be able to pursue my dream.

So, I’m turning to all of you for help. I’ve started a GoFundMe campaign to raise the funds needed to cover my tuition and make my dreams a reality. Here’s a breakdown of what I need:

  • $29,000 per year for tuition as an international student (proof in my admission letter).
  • $9,500 to cover the remaining balance of my fall semester tuition by November 2023.

I’ll also need support to cover the $24,000 yearly tuition for the coming years while searching for scholarships and working part-time.

To give you a bit more insight into my background, I lost my father when I was 14. He was a successful Civil Engineer. After his passing, my paternal family tried to take everything from us, but my aunt stood up for us. Despite limited means, she’s been a rock for our family, supporting us in various ways.

My mother worked tirelessly to provide for us until her life took a painful turn in a car accident on January 19, 2023. She is currently hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, and my aunt is covering her medical bills. The financial strain has taken a toll on my aunt’s health as well.

I’m asking for your help to make my dream come true. Even a small contribution can make a big difference in my life. I promise to work hard and give back to society through my education in Electrical Engineering, contributing to the development of sustainable energy solutions and better lives for those in need. Proof of my admissions to the engineering school and attendances can be provide if required.

I humbly thank you for your support.

Warmly, Haguy.”

Urgent Request for Temporary Assistance: Support Needed for My Children’s Education and Financial Stability

Urgent Request for Temporary Assistance: Support Needed for My Children’s Education and Financial Stability

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you with utmost sincerity and hope, facing a temporary but pressing challenge that has left me in a difficult and uncertain situation. It is with a heavy heart and a humble spirit that I seek your assistance during this trying time.

As a single father, my highest priority has always been the well-being and education of my two beloved children. It is their future and happiness that drive me each day. However, due to unforeseen delays in some projects and the recent economic turbulence that has affected us all, I find myself in a situation where I urgently need to pay for my children’s school registration fees, books, uniforms, and the next few months of their school fees.

This unforeseen financial strain has also led to a mounting pile of bills and payables, creating a significant burden on my shoulders. While I have received support from a close friend, I am hesitant to burden them any further, and I wish to stand on my own feet once more.

I am confident that within the next two to three months, my financial situation will stabilize, but this current phase is emotionally taxing, impacting not only me but also my children. My primary goal is to shield them from the stress of financial difficulties and provide them with the stability they deserve.

In my search for assistance, I wanted to avoid involving friends and family, as I understand the potential for discomfort, embarrassment, and unwanted discussions. Therefore, I am reaching out to you, hoping for an anonymous helping hand that can provide me with the temporary relief needed to clear my financial obligations.

I assure you that all the bills, school vouchers, book receipts, and other miscellaneous payables are readily available for your verification, should you require them. This message comes from a place of genuine need, and I am stepping out of my comfort zone to seek assistance during this challenging period.

Additionally, I have mentioned my desire for a travel allowance to take my partner on a much-needed holiday to rejuvenate our spirits and return with a positive and productive mindset. I chose to include this request here to be transparent and straightforward.

Below is a breakdown of the financial assistance I am seeking, in parts, or whole:

  • Kids’ school fees: $1,350 USD
  • Piled up rent, bills and payables: $12,042 USD
  • Debt owed to a close friend: $10,000 USD
  • Miscellaneous kids’ safety net for two months: $3,000 USD
  • Miscellaneous domestic safety net for two months: $3,000 USD
  • Decompressing holiday with my partner: $10,000 USD

For your convenience, I have provided a PayPal link where you can make a contribution: [PayPal Link: PayPal.me/hasanslink (@hasanslink)]

I am also available on WhatsApp, phone, or Zoom, should you wish to verify the authenticity of this request or speak with me personally.

I am open to exploring the possibility of reciprocating and providing a service or assistance to you in return, as a gesture of gratitude for your support.

Regardless of your decision, please accept my sincerest gratitude for taking the time to consider my request. Your kindness and generosity will forever be remembered, and my prayers are with you, wishing that the universe brings blessings to you and your future generations when you need it most.

Thank you for your compassion and understanding.

Best wishes and warm regards,

Hasan

Lost money in crypto scam

Hello,

My name is Serah. I am living in Canada, I am divorced, being on my own for over 10 years now.

Last year I needed some extra income to help me to pay off my car loan, customer proposal debt and other living expenses.

I responded to the add and invested $250 in cryptocurrency to gain more money. I worked with the broker and slowly my money grew in my investment account.

The invested money were growing to the point where I wanted to withdraw them to pay my bills, but the broker told me I have to invest $3000 CAN dollars in order to withdraw what I already had in my wallet.

Because I am very inexperienced in cryptocurrency, to my disappointment, after sending $3,000 dollars to the company, I have never been paid the money I supposedly earned.

I felt frustrated and started loosing faith in humanity and in the goodness of this world.

I was left with over $3000 dollars in debt on the top what I already own to the other creditors.

It took me a lot of time to recover from the fact that I was scammed and to get over the feeling of total disappointment.

I learned my lesson in life and I will never repeat the same mistake again.

I still own those money to my credit card company as I am only able to keep up with a minimum payment.

I am asking from the bottom of my heart to help me to clear that debt and I will be forever grateful.

I want to believe that there is someone who cares and I will pay forward the same kindness to someone else in the future.

Thank you,

Serah

Disabled And In Debt

Hello, I hope this note finds you well. Thank you for your time and consideration. My name is Naomi I am 52 years old, single, living on disability income. My income is well below the poverty level. I have just over twelve thousand in credit card debt. With your contribution I will pay down that debt.

During the pandemic I was renovicted from my rental and my mom died. Renovicted means I was evicted so that the new landlord could renovate and charge more for the rental. Prior to those difficult emotional and financial changes,  I could manage my credit card bill much easier.  Today the monthly credit card bill  takes a good chunk out of  budget that I need for my living expenses.  Rent and all of my expenses went up. I am having difficulty getting the things I need.  If I could eat cheaper food I would, but I have food allergies. It’s expensive to have these extra considerations for my health.

I have been living with arthritis since I was a child.  It’s the reason I am on disability income support and it is not much.  I have arthritis in most joints in my body including my fingers and neck.  I am an artist learning how to use a graphics program on the computer. My plan is to create artwork to sell online.  With my health the way it is, my progress is slow.  Despite that my art and learning keeps me focused on eventually improving my income through my own work.  It can take hundreds of pieces of art to have a competitive presence online.  It will likely take time before I see a return on my effort.

I am asking you for help today to help me create a better financial situation for myself that allows me room to get the things I need.  When I get the balance of that debt paid. I will be lowering the limit on that card, so that I am never in this spot again.  It was too easy to get into this financial difficulty. My income is not enough. Rising expenses, unexpected expenses, emergencies were charged to the credit card.  And despite always keeping up to date with payments the credit company hiked my interest rate to  twenty percent and twenty-two percent for cash withdrawal. I phoned to ask why and was basically told because they could.

They recently lowered the rate on my card to fifteen percent, thankfully.  I hope they never find a reason to raise that rate again. I really appreciate your time and help. Have a good day. Thank you. PayPal.Me/Naomi82888

Single mom with Child with disability

Earlier this year my husband and I separated and I was left to look after our two young boys alone. 8 and 4. The youngest was diagnosed with level three non verbal autism shortly after and while there are benefits and help available, it is slow moving.  As a result of his diagnosis, his school was not taking him full time which affected my ability to work. I’ve had car repairs and bills piling up and I just need a break till his disability benefit kicks in. Even just 5,000$ would make the world of difference. Once things have settled I’ll be ok but I feel like I can’t provide for my kids. It’s upsetting me and affecting my mental health. With the cost of living and groceries for a special needs child with a sensory disorder it can be hard. Food banks don’t always provide what I need. I just want peace of mind which is all any of us want. PayPal: @tthibault0216

Student in need of money for school

I’m studying to be a teacher because I have a strong desire to work with children and shape their destinies. However, I am at a crossroads, dealing with financial difficulties that threaten to derail my route to accomplishing my cherished desire. I’m telling you my tale in the hopes that you’ll be the guiding light I’m looking for.

For me, teaching is more than a job; it’s a calling, a mission. Every day, I am motivated by the conviction that education can mold young minds, stimulate creativity, and pave the way for a brighter future for our planet. My academic career, however, has been hampered by financial difficulties.

Tuition, textbooks, living expenses, and other education-related costs have grown prohibitively expensive, making it increasingly impossible for me to focus on my studies and attain the grades required for success. I refuse to give up on my aspirations, but I can’t achieve it on my own.

Your contribution, regardless of the amount, might be my saving grace. Here’s how your help can make a difference:

Tuition Assistance: Your gift can help fund my tuition expenses, allowing me to concentrate on gaining the skills necessary to be an amazing teacher.

Teaching materials: Access to crucial teaching tools may dramatically improve my academic performance and, eventually, my capacity to build a dynamic and engaging classroom.

Living Expenses: With your help, I can focus on my academics rather than worrying about the essential living expenses that come with being a student.

Transportation: Having reliable transportation allows me to attend classes and participate in hands-on teaching experiences, both of which are critical for my growth as an educator.

Professional Development:

Your generosity will allow me to pay for seminars, certificates, and courses that will help me become a qualified and passionate teacher.

Your contribution is not just an investment in my education; it is also an investment in the next generation of students I will have the privilege of teaching. By assisting me, you are assisting in the development of young minds, the opening of doors of opportunity, and the realization of my potential as a passionate educator.

Your gift will not be forgotten, and I am fully dedicated to paying it forward in the future, enhancing the lives of numerous children.

I am appreciative for your concern and assistance. With your assistance, I am determined to realize my ambition of being an inspirational teacher who will have a significant influence on the lives of the future generation.

Thank you for believing in the power of education and for being the guiding light on my path to shaping young minds.

With immense gratitude,

Sam

Facing Homelessness

My name is Mylene and I have a dog who’s 7 years old, it’s a Staffordshire terrier Pitbull, Diezel Bumbum and he’s my best friend.   Up until a year ago, we we’re renting a home for 5 years, a place we called home, where we could lay our heads at night and feel safe but January 10/21 I found my boyfriend deceased in the bathroom.

The moment that happened, my whole world changed and I experienced grief for the first time.   Then the news of my landlord selling the property was shocking and devastating because we were going to lose a home we loved.  October 4 of last year, we ended up on the street because I was unable to secure another place that would allow me to have my dog.  Nothing can prepare someone for the shock of becoming homeless overnight, it’s a scary moment and you feel so helpless.

I managed to find a hotel that would allow dogs but the cost is quite extensive and now winter is just around the corner and I’m out of money.   I will never get rid of my dog because he’s the reason I get up every day despite feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, always wondering how we’re going to make it another day.  If I was able to secure a place where my dog is safe so that I can return to work, that would be the dream.  I hope everybody and anybody would give the shirt off my back and now I’m the one seeking a little help so that my dog and I don’t have to live outside in the cold.

I’m only asking for a little bit of money to stay afloat because I’ve always been a hard worker and I give back as much as I can so if anyone can stare a few dollars to help us out to get back on her feet to where we used to be, I would be utterly grateful.

I just want to say thank you for everyone who takes the time to read my plea for help during this time of struggle and I promise to pay it forward.

Young girl who needs little help for best friend and self

https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/my/profile

I’m Kayla, a 22-year-old woman who’s been through a tough time lately. A few months ago, I unexpectedly lost my job due to a sudden company closure. It was a shock, and I found myself without a source of income just when I needed it the most.

To make matters even more challenging, my beloved cat, Luna, fell seriously ill, and the vet bills started to add up rapidly. Luna has been my constant companion for years, and I can’t bear the thought of not being able to provide her with the necessary medical care.

On top of these difficulties, I’ve been living in a small, rundown apartment, and my landlord informed me that the building is being sold, giving me a tight deadline to find a new place to live. I’m struggling to make ends meet, and I don’t have the financial means to afford a security deposit and the first month’s rent for a new apartment.

I find myself in a situation where I’m trying to cover essential expenses, including Luna’s medical bills and the costs associated with securing a new place to live, all while facing the challenge of unemployment. Any assistance would be a tremendous relief and would mean the world to me during these tough times. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Send me a message on the side and maybe I can show you my appreciation and gratitude by making you some art, or by send you a card, just something to show how thankful me and Luna are. ❤️ https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/my/profile
