Cancer Treatments Finished Then Lost My Job

I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer (Triple Negative) in February, 2022. I began an intense treatment plan of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, mastectomy, entire lymph node dissection, etc throughout 2022. Unfortunately, the immunotherapy ruined my thyroid, which took over 6 months to fix and we had to discontinue it. The immunotherapy also gave me an autoimmune disease called Vitiligo, which is white patches all over my body.

In 2023, I had to begin oral chemotherapy due to my cancer’s aggressive nature. While on oral chemo, I went back to work part time while I was also on long term disability. I completed my treatments in November of 2023 and was finally able to come back to work full time towards the end of February, 2024, two long years from my diagnosis. I was so thrilled to get some “normalcy” back in my life. A week after being back at work fulltime, I was let go from my job, with only 2 weeks of severance. I still do not understand why they terminated me, as they told me the company was restructuring, but nobody else was let go. I will be filing a lawsuit for discrimination against a cancer patient, but even if I’m successful with that, it will take years.

Since I have a high recurrence rate of 40%, and will no longer qualify for any sort of disability with a new employer, I am terrified this cancer will come back and kill me. I had to give up my apartment and move back in with my ex-husband which is not ideal, but I don’t have anywhere else to go.

I have been out of work almost 2 months and although I have had a few interviews, I have yet to secure a new job and I am hoping someone can help me with paying my bills and credit cards, since I spent all of my savings on my cancer treatments and moving so I could be closer to my hospital.

I am a worker, have always worked hard and am senior in my niche position. Finding a new job has been extremely difficult in today’s market. I am upskilling to add data analytics to my resume, and taking free courses in the hopes to receive a google certification, so I can have more varied job opportunities.

My ultimate goal is to get a new job and put some money away in the hopes that I won’t be homeless if my cancer recurs. I have never been unemployed, so this has been a difficult transition for me and I feel worthless, especially after fighting cancer for 2 long years and now fighting unemployment. Two months of unemployment has completely broken me and I have nowhere else to turn except here, so I ask if you can help me, it would be so appreciated.

Just a minor setback!

I was born and raised in the UK, and I had a close friend in Canada whom I’d known for 15 years. When I visited her for the first time, (July 23) I noticed her relationship wasn’t healthy. Having been through an abusive relationship myself, I recognized the signs and felt compelled to help her.

I was so committed to supporting her that I considered moving to Canada.  I took the leap. I resigned from my job, booked a return flight, and secured a Canadian IEC experience visa within a month. Everything seemed promising, and I even had plans for a few business ventures in mind that I was eager to kick-start.

However, upon arriving in Canada (Sept 23)  finding affordable housing became a financial burden. Most of my savings were spent on temporary accommodations. By December, things became more challenging. I reached out to my friend for help, and although she covered my expenses for January, she cut off communication with me afterward.

The tension escalated, and by February, I had no choice but to leave the house we shared for a while. Eventually her and her mother threw my things out and have threatened me multiple times. I was still not financially stable so didn’t have much choice. Since then, I’ve been homeless. Despite this, I’ve managed to secure a remote job (requiring me to be stable) and I’m eager to continue my business ventures.

Now, I’m seeking help to find stable housing. With $5,000 USD, I can cover my living expenses for the next two months, allowing me to focus on settling into my new job and support myself moving forward.

Your support would mean the world to me!

Evacuate my family from Sudan

My name is Hassan zakariya , basically from Africa , Sudan , I have arrived to Canada recently through refugee program and thank you Canada for protection.
well , the my family actually are still in Sudan , I want immediate evacuation from Sudan to Egypt amd then to Canada , the cost of trip from Sudan to Egypt for 4 persons is 12,000 , and i as new comer I don’t have that money and I want you help , at least to see my family I haven’t seen them since 7 years .
please we need $12,000 to evacuate 4 persons from Sudan to Egypt .
my dad and mam are older and sick and I have lost two of my borther in last generation , we need peaceful place to live in it .

Sudan has been torn apart by a year of violence between armed rivals.

One year ago, the war broke in Sudan.

Over 8.5 million people have been displaced since April 2023 according to Refugees, which includes 6.5 million people internally displaced and over 2 million people have crossed the border to neighboring countries.

The UN has warned that more than 200,000 children could die of starvation as famine looms in Sudan.

Alarm bells have been ringing on Sudan for a year, but there’s been a spectacular silence in international response. Today could – should – see a shift in the world’s approach.

Can you help a good man who is struggling to start over at age 61?

Dear friends and kind hearts,

I have a friend who has had an undeserved rough time of things over the past 3 years. I’ve known Joe since we were children and I’d like to share with you his story.
Joe was a good husband, father and member of the community. He volunteered in his community and was also a volunteer firefighter. Joe’s descent into depression seemed to have begun after his brother’s suicide. He loved his brother deeply and had him as his best man at his wedding, I was his groomsman. Joe didn’t take his brother’s death well. I feel that he somehow blamed himself.
A week after the funeral Joe’s sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. Joe and his sister were also very close. He was a groomsman at her wedding. I enjoyed hearing the stories of when they were children. Five years she came to visit him in November, they both knew that their time together was limited. He was so proud of her. He would brag about how strong and brave she was. It was clear, at least to me that as time drew to a close for his sister he would become more withdrawn. It was hard to see him go through this. Men are supposed to be strong but even the strongest of men would break under the stress and circumstances that would follow.
In the time between his brother’s passing and his sister’s passing Joe’s wife left him and their two children citing that she needed to care for herself. He now found himself being a single Dad. I really don’t know how he stayed so strong because life wouldn’t be done challenging him. Six months after moving into a small house that his kids could call home the company he worked for was purchased and he was laid off. He was able to secure work with a small renovation company but two years later that company would close it’s doors owing him 6 weeks wages.
Undetered, Joe set out to establish his own renovation company. He was successful for 18 months when there was a down turn in the economy and he once again found himself needing work. He landed a job with a restoration company that would ultimately seek to destroy him after five years of loyal service.
During those five years Joe was estranged by his children. I say here unjustly so and I believe that he was the victim of parental alienation when his wife decided become a part of their now adult children’s lives. Joe has only seen his grand daughter a few times and has never met his 3 year old grandson.
With an empty house Joe took in his parents in after they were evicted from their lease and they took over his house and lived rent free for nearly 2 years before they could secure residence in a retirement lodge.
While this was happening he started being harassed by a supervisor at work, all this was driving him into a deeper depressive state. With a lot of coaxing he started to see a doctor for his depression. Again with an empty house he decided that he would rent out rooms to help pay down his mortgage as quick as possible so that he could invest in his retirement. As luck would have it Covid19 struck that month and any plans to rent out rooms went up in smoke. Six months later he would attempt to end his life. His employer promised accommodation while he was being treated for major depression but instead keeping that promise his employer would escalate the harassment subjecting him to gaslighting, misleading instructions, micromanagement, sabotage and denying him basic human rights.
Joe just doesn’t deserve to be treated like this, no one whether living with depression or not does. Every person that he helped would end up stealing from him, others taking advantage of his situation, the city, realtors, scammers, family. Most of what I thought were his friends turned their backs on him. As he was losing his home the city would be harassing him as he tried to cope. He sold his vehicles in an attempt to save his house that he ultimately lost along with most of his possessions.
Joe was a model employee, outperforming his peers, every job profitable with 100% client satisfaction. It was six months after he was unjustly fired that I figured out that his former employer was painting him in a bad light.
Joe now lives in a broken down minivan, he’s been hospitalized for his depression. He doesn’t have the resources to renew his driver’s licence, insure a vehicle or even have a vehicle that he could use for work. He’s lost in there area of a quarter million believing and investing in people.
I feel like I’m failing him because I’m unable to help him anymore than I have been and so I’m reaching out to kind people such as yourselves to please lend a hand. I don’t want to lose my dear friend and I hate seeing him lose his faith in humanity.
In order to help this kind man get back on his feet I’m hoping to raise $10,000 so that he can at least have a vehicle to go to work with, regain his dignity and hopefully gather up some of the pieces of his broken life.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless!

urgent appeal for help! owing 12,000 in rent. I risk eviction with 3 kids

Hello Everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to everyone  with a heavy heart, seeking your support in a time of great need. Our home, a place of shelter, safety, and warmth, is at risk due to outstanding rent totaling $12,000. As we navigate through challenging times, we find ourselves in a position where we are unable to meet this financial obligation alone.

The past year has been incredibly difficult for us, and my family and I have not been spared from the financial hardships brought on by inability to get a job. Despite our best efforts, we have fallen behind on our rent payments, and our landlord has issued a notice demanding immediate payment of the outstanding balance.

Losing our home is a prospect that fills us with fear and uncertainty. It is not just a roof over our heads; it is the place where we have built memories, shared laughter, and found solace during life’s trials. It is where our children feel safe and loved, and the thought of uprooting them fills us with anguish.

With humility and desperation, I am turning to everyone for help. Your generosity has the power to change our circumstances and prevent us from facing eviction. Every dollar donated brings us one step closer to securing our home and preserving the stability of our family.

Your support, no matter the amount, will make a difference. Whether it is the equivalent of a cup of coffee or a more substantial contribution, every donation is a lifeline that will help us bridge the gap and prevent homelessness.

To those who are able to donate, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your kindness will not be forgotten, and we promise to pay it forward when we are once again able to do so.

If financial contributions are not possible at this time, please consider sharing our story with your network. Spreading the word increases our chances of reaching individuals who may be in a position to help.

with help, we can overcome this challenge. Thank you for considering our plea, and may you be blessed abundantly for your compassion and generosity.

Here is the paypal information for the donation: tunjiade777@gmail.com

With heartfelt thanks,

Tunji

Urgent Rent Assistance. Need help from kind souls.

Normally, I’m not the kind of person to seek for assistance. I tend to think more along the lines of “I can handle it” or “I will figure it out myself.” I’ve never liked being reminded of the times I’ve needed assistance and had to ask others for it. But I’m in a bit of a tough spot right now, and I think it’s acceptable to ask for assistance occasionally.

I fell behind on my on rent this month by $1000 and my monthly rent amount is $1692. Now that I am in need, I find myself without anyone to turn to. I am literally living paycheck to paycheck, and I work full time and it is not much, I barely make it through each month to survive, trust me. I am currently looking for a second job to boost my income and not live paycheck to paycheck. Even with the economy the way it is now. I am hopeful and a fighter that I can turn this situation around for the better.

I am reaching out to kindly request assistance from any kind soul.  If anyone is able to spare even a small amount, it would be greatly appreciated. I really don’t want to get evicted from my apartment as there is no other affordable housing in the city of Toronto, Canada.

Below is my payment information. May blessings abound for every helping hand. Thank you very much for your consideration and support.

APPEAL FOR TUITION HELP

Dear Kindhearted Ones,

I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to you with a humble plea and a heart heavy with the weight of a dream deferred. My name is [Your Name], and I find myself at a crossroads in my educational journey, one where financial hurdles threaten to derail my aspirations.

Education has always been the beacon guiding my path. Growing up, I witnessed the transformative power it holds, not just in shaping minds but in illuminating futures. It became my fervent belief that through education, one can break barriers, challenge norms, and create lasting change.

However, despite my unwavering commitment to learning, the reality of financial constraints has cast a shadow over my dreams. The burden of tuition fees weighs heavily on my shoulders, threatening to extinguish the flames of hope and possibility.

I come to you today not seeking a handout, but rather an opportunity – an opportunity to continue pursuing my education, to defy the odds stacked against me, and to carve out a future filled with promise and potential. Your support would not only alleviate the financial strain but also serve as a beacon of hope, reaffirming my belief in the kindness and generosity of humanity.

With your assistance, I can access the tools and resources necessary to thrive academically and beyond. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, brings me one step closer to realizing my dreams and making a meaningful impact in the world.

I understand that times are tough for many, and your willingness to consider my plea does not go unnoticed. Your generosity has the power to ripple through generations, shaping not just my future but those of countless others who dare to dream.

As I stand on the precipice of possibility, I am reminded of the words of Helen Keller: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” Together, we can rewrite the narrative, defy the odds, and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.

From the depths of my heart, I thank you for considering my request and for your unwavering support. May your kindness be repaid tenfold, and may we both find solace in the knowledge that we are making a difference, one student at a time.

I live with an older person who can hardly walk because of a buggered up knee.  This person is afraid to go in for knee sergury for fear of dying on the operating table and among other fears.  This person a few years ago had an electric wheelchair stolen during the night from in front of their home.  They could have replaced her chair had a police report been made but this person was afraid of making the report for personal reasons.  If you could help me with enough to buy a new one I would be forever greatful.  Also. I’m in need of a few more bucks for 2 to train tickets for us to go see my mom before it’s too late, it’s been over 10 years since I’ve seen her,my father passed away and I didn’t make it. Financial help

7 years ago I went through a serious work injury. I had 4400 lbs of glass fall on me. I was lucky enough to survive however it still had sone life changing injuries. The doctors were lucky enough that they were able to save my left leg in which I almost lost. It took me 2 years to get back to the working force however, I was unable to hold down the jobs due to the injury. I have always had a dream of being an actor amd even went to school for it in my early 20’s however due to my life style and also my finacial situation I was never able to accomplish it hence how I ended up under 4400 lbs of glass.. I also suffer from ptsd from all that glass falling on me. Since now after so many years of not being able to pay my bills they have started to pile up and on top of not working again for the last 5 months they have only gotten worse to handle. I also want to try to pursue my acting again since I believe that career path will be the one I truly can succeed in. Thank your time and I will truly appreciate any help I can get.

HELP TO PAY DEBTS, BILLS ABD TUTION TO BETTER MY LIFE

Hello, I am Brian a 31 yrs old but will make 32 in November. Am a father to 5 children one biological and the rest adopted but they are all my children and love them the same. I got those children because of their background, I grew up without a father since seeing children out there without parents is my worst scare I know, and the feelings, and traumas it causes. We all live in different countries and it’s hard at the moment to buy air tickets, since 2019 when I relocated to get them a better life. I have not had a chance to meet or see them and operantly meet their daily expenses, tuition and life. At the beginning of 2023 is when I lost my job at the same time scammed of all my savings after I had planned my trip to see the kids that was the beginning of my challenges, After an opportunity to make money came a few months to my travel I decided to add some money so the kids would have a happy holiday with their father but instead lost all of it to a scam.

Since 2021 my life has not been the same because I got a student loan to go to school to change my life but things didn’t go as planned, i got a job after school but was not paying enough to pay the student loan on time.

First forward, 2023 I lost my job but at the moment I was in school to advance myself to a better-paying job and life however I got myself another loan since I was doing a bit better for myself, I had trained myself for several opportunities, unfortunately, non is helping me at the moment. I dropped out of school because I was not able to pay tuition. My loan has grown to CAD 28000 and also asking for any amount that will help me complete at least a Truck license (AZ MELT) with its Tuition CAD 12000 AT THE BEST SCHOOL  I inquired from.

My daily living expenses are also drilling me left – right so any person willing to help me stand again on my feet will be appreciated.

If I had another way out of this situation it would have been my priority but am asking for help as the only help I can get, this is better than stealing, conning,  scamming or lying, I did not categorize this whole amount because it is of different finances. May God bless you as you help another person in need, thank you.

FINANCIAL HARDSHIP

Hello dear friends. I am coming to you with much humility and a thankful heart. I am also very desperate which actually brings me here asking help of you. 6 months ago, I was a very financially secure woman and, also debt free. That all changed when I invested with a trading company, which I later found out is not regulated to operate in most country.

I was led to believe that the company was legitimate, so with much coaching and convincing, I invested all my savings that I had put aside for retirement, I used up my line of credit, maxed out my credit cards and took on other debts. From everything I was told by the trading company, I would not only receive my profit but all the fees I was asked to pay. In short, I am a victim of crypto scam.

I am finding it very difficult to function in my everyday life. Yes, I am employed but, I am not earning  enough to pay my rent, everyday living expenses and my creditors. I continue to question how could this happen to me. My life is so different from the way it was 6 months ago. I am doing all I can not to fall into a depression. I also had an excellent credit and as a result, no lenders will consider me for any kind of a loan. I have to be borrowing from friends to help with my increasing expenses.

I came across this site while searching. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. The intent is to pay off my debts and start to rebuild my credit .I   have tried to get companies to help me recover my funds but, they need upfront payment and, I don’t have the money to pay. In addition, I was told most of them are also scammers.

overall, I have being scammed  134,000 CD it includes, my savings, line of credits, credit cards and installment loans.  I only found out the company was a scam after I fully invested.

Thank you for taking the time to read, and whatever you can contribute.

I am just trying to get my life back on track.

God bless you all for you help.

Donations Requested To Hire A Business Coach

Hi,
I’m Ashten and I’m looking for donations for $20,000.00 to fund my business growth. I am a professional pet sitter and have been in business for 1 year.
I managed to make a few thousand dollars profit last year but need to have more cashflow to ensure business stays afloat.
My plan is to hire a business coach who has had their pet sitting business for 23 years and is still thriving in the industry.
The business course is over a 12 month period and is $10,000 CAD. I am currently working through the free course material until I can pay for the course.
This program will help me implement the necessary automations and systems on my website to attract more clients, create more leads and give support/advice with how and who to hire to grow my business.
I have some high interest credit card debt I want to pay down with the money as well. (This accumulated from various necessities such as rent, student loans, my car payments and the cost of running a business by myself.)
I am a responsible individual looking for some help to take my business to the next level. This time next year I am planning on having 5 employees to help run my business so I can create jobs within my community and work ON my business  and not IN it.
A little more about me – I am a veteran, I have a College Diploma and University Degree. I volunteer twice a month as a Mentor with my local Big Brothers and Sisters organization and I donate a portion of the minimal proceeds from my business to a local animal shelter on a monthly basis.
Giving back to my community is very important to me and I enjoy helping where I can. I plan to give more to these types of organizations once my business is thriving.
Please donate to my link: www.paypal.me/ashtenabby
Thank you in advance!
Ashten
