Emergency Funding for a children’s home

Over the last several years I have single handedly supported orphans in Nairobi, Kenya. With a single pay cheque income, I have been able to share the little that I have earned with the vulnerable children in Africa. The heavy rains and floods that have hit Nairobi unfortunately have left our children homeless. This has made it difficult for me to keep up. This is why I’m here hoping for good Samaritans to help support the cause and partner with me. Your generosity will go a long way.

My passion for helping and supporting the vulnerable children stems from my own experience of losing my parents at a young age. Hopeless, confused and unsure where the next meal will come from, I relied on the kindness of good Samaritans who took me in and helped me get on my feet. I have empathy towards the orphans because children are innocent and shouldn’t have to go through the pain of losing their parents. However, these circumstances are inevitable. I have since found purpose in helping and coming alongside these children who need a safe place to call their own home.

When I saw the sorrow and hopelessness on the faces of children who at times have to go to bed hungry, go to school barefoot and oftentimes be separated from their siblings, I made a commitment that when I was able to help financially, I would start a home where children who have lost their loved ones can call home. I did not want to call it an orphanage as I did not want the children to always be reminded of their state. I wanted them to feel loved and take pride in having a safe place to call their home. A home where they can celebrate birthdays, share joyful successful moments like learning how to read, share laughter, enjoy a meal together and grow together.

In 2018, I traveled to Kenya ,Africa for my Grandfather’s funeral. After the funeral, I had the privilege of visiting a home in the rural community of Nairobi, Kenya. There I met children who were struggling with a shortage of food, clothing and no place to stay. When I saw their beautiful gentle faces, My heart was deeply touched and I knew I had to do something right away.I took it upon myself to start sponsoring them by providing them with food, clothing and shelter.

Over the last year, the number of children has increased from seven to fifteen in our care. This has led to having more than six children in each room because the home is becoming overcrowded. Having done this single handedly, I feel compelled to reach out for support. I am seeking help towards expanding and renovating the house that was recently flooded due to heavy rains that Kenya has experienced over the last couple of months. My goal is to raise $75000 to help with renovating and expanding the home, buy school supplies, provide food, school fees and clothing. Your help and support will go a long way.

Thank you for partnering with me in bringing hope and joy into the lives of these beautiful children.

Together we can help make it a better place for the vulnerable children to live in. Thank you for your generosity.

Business humbly in need

To whom it may concern,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Shawn Lee, and I am the proud owner of S & S Custom tattoo studio, a business dedicated to the art of tattooing and inspiring the next generation of tattoo artists. I am reaching out to you today with a humble request for financial assistance, as I find myself in a difficult and somewhat embarrassing position.
In December 2019, I made the decision to expand my business by purchasing another tattoo shop. This move was intended to improve our location and increase our client base. However, I soon discovered that the previous owner had not filed taxes since 2015, and I am now in the process of rectifying this situation. Additionally, I recently learned that my own accountant had failed to file taxes for us since 2017, resulting in an unexpected debt of $22,000 for the services of a new accounting firm to address these issues.
The impact of these financial burdens, combined with the $120,000 in costs incurred during the COVID-19 pandemic (due to 7.5 months of the unexpected lockdown and time closed) and an additional $150,000 in government debt, has put an immense strain on my business and personal finances. My credit score has suffered, and I am struggling to keep up with both business and personal bills.
On a personal note, I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and large fiber neuropathy, which has made it increasingly challenging for me to work full-time. Despite these obstacles, I remain committed to my business and to the talented young artists who are part of our team. For the past 15 years, I have poured my heart and soul into this studio, and I am proud to see my staff’s dedication and drive to ensure its continued success.
To overcome these challenges and secure the future of S & S Custom tattoo studio, I am seeking $150,000 in funding. This amount will allow us to address the government debt, stabilize our finances, and continue providing a nurturing environment for the next generation of tattoo artists. My goal is to see this studio thrive for another 15 years and beyond, fostering creativity and artistic expression in our community.
I understand the gravity of my request, and it is with great humility and respect that I reach out for your support. Your assistance would not only help me overcome this financial hurdle but also ensure that my staff and I can continue to inspire and serve our clients with the highest level of artistry and professionalism.
Thank you for considering my request. I am more than willing to provide any additional information or documentation that may be required. Your support would mean the world to me and to the talented artists at S & S Custom tattoo studio.
With sincere gratitude,
Shawn Lee

Widowed Senior Finally Asking For Help

Hello. My name is Terry.

First, let me take a moment to thank you for viewing my request. I appreciate you taking the time to consider helping me. I have never been one to ask for help, especially financially, but I have nowhere else to turn.

Let me tell you my story. I apologize in advance for the length of it but I want you to know exactly how things are since I am asking for your financial help.

I’m 66 years old and, like most people my age nowadays, I can’t afford to retire so I’m working full-time, living paycheck to paycheck.

Several years ago I was hit by a car while crossing the street. The impact sent me through the air to the other side of the street. The only thing I remember is suddenly being on my back on the other side of the street. The paramedics said if I had been 2 inches further I would have hit the curb and broken my back. As it was, I had a haematoma in my right leg and a permanent injury to my lower back.

In 2020, the job I had aggravated that injury to the point where I could no longer work. I went on medical employment insurance and my doctor said I may not be able to work again.

That same year, in November, my wife got sick and had to stop working. Her feet swelled up so bad, and she was in so much pain, that she could not walk. I was able to borrow a walker with a seat to push her to the bathroom and back. Doing that seemed to help my back and I was able to function better. However, my wife, misdiagnosed by our family doctor, did not get better. After a visit to Emergency, the doctor on call was able to find the problem. They flew her to a hospital 4 1/2 hours away. This was during COVID so I wasn’t allowed to go with her.

She went there on Sunday and died Tuesday night from complications. A blood clot (the real cause of her illness) moved to her lungs. Her blood pressure had dropped too low to perform surgery and, by the time that it improved, the clot had reached her lung and she was gone. The nurse was talking to me on the phone at the time. She said they had been trying to revive her for half an hour. She died 2 months after our 25th wedding anniversary.

I was in shock. I felt like my heart had been ripped out, like my life was over. The woman I had spent the last 25 years with was no longer there. For the first time in a long time, I was alone.

I went into a deep depression. My friends tried to help by bringing me meals but I couldn’t imagine life without her. I thought about ending it but couldn’t bring myself to do that so I somehow carried on.

However, my income was now less than half of what it was before and I was still on medical employment insurance. I asked my landlord for a reduction in rent so I could stay in the apartment. It is the cheapest place in town. They gave me a $50 reduction.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t pay my creditors. I called them all and tried to work with them, asking for 2-3 months to get back on my feet, but they just wanted their money. So, I had no choice but to file a Consumer Proposal to stop them from harassing me. My car loan didn’t want to go that route, though, so they repossessed my car, leaving me with no transportation.

In March of 2021 I got COVID. It was the worst sickness I had ever had. It lasted 2 long weeks and there were 3 days where I actually thought I was going to die. It was that bad. To make things worse, I was now alone in my apartment.

In September I finally got a job. I worked there for 1 week and had a heart attack. They flew me to a city 8 hours away and put 5 stents in my heart. My employer was nice enough to hold my job for me but I could only have 2 weeks off. My cardiologist said I should take 2 months but I couldn’t afford to do that.

For the next several months I was a zombie. I had no energy, couldn’t think straight, and wondered why I didn’t end things when my wife died. Again, I went into depression.

I went onto some pen pal sites because I felt I needed someone to talk to. I helped a few people with their English skills because I like helping people and that distracted me a little from the pain of no longer having my wife, but it was only a temporary solution.

Then I met Victoria. I wasn’t looking for another relationship, not after losing my wife of 25 years. But Victoria was sweet, kind, and extremely understanding. We messaged, emailed, exchanged photos, and talked on the phone, and discovered that we had much in common. Our view of life, of relationships, of how marriage mates should treat each other, was in complete harmony.

I never expected to find someone after losing my beloved wife but I fell in love with Victoria. She was from a foreign country but her English was quite good. She told me about her life and I told her about mine.

I made my situation clear from the very beginning: I had no savings, no house, no assets, and would not be able to help her with a visa. She didn’t care about any of that. She was just looking for someone who would love her from the heart, be honest with her, faithful to her, so we could spend the rest of our lives together.

Victoria has made me happier than I’ve been in a long time. I still miss my wife. That will never change. And, of course, I still love her. That will never change, either. But now I have a chance to be happy again, to share my life with someone again. Victoria has said that she wants me to give my deceased wife the biggest place in my heart. How many women are that understanding and caring?

So now we would like to get married. She has been trying to get a visa to visit me but with the backlog of applications since COVID it hasn’t materialized yet. However, I did manage to get a visa to go to her country and the plan is to be with her at the end of August of this year.

I have calculated the expenses that I need to maintain things here while I visit her, along with the travel cost, and have been saving as much as possible. But I am coming up short. She is willing to pay for the wedding (it will be a civil ceremony with a small celebration with her family) but I need to get there and maintain things here so we have a place to come back to once we’re married.

I have calculated that I will about be $2,194 short. Without this money I will not be able to make it.

If you can help in any way, even a small donation, I would be forever grateful.

I have been given a second chance at love, something not everyone gets. I just need a little help to get there.

Thank you for reading my story. I hope your life has as much happiness as Victoria has brought to mine.

Sincerely,

Terry

seeking support so i can continue to be the owner of my studio apartment

Hello everyone .

I am a single mother who has been facing difficulty financially . I aquired a studio apartment through mortgage but at this point in my life I am having problems paying on a monthly basis .  This studio apartment is in the caribbean . My account is in a chronic stage of arrears . Its a very small apartment and could not be rented out for much . my mortgage is 300 USD per month and  its rented for 100 USD ,I am the only  person on  the mortgage . I paid whatever the rent is , but that still is not able to service the loan  effectively .I was contacted on numerous occasions threatening that my account is in a chronic state , and is at risk of repossession. I have to be literally begging them and giving ficticious time lines in which I will be able to pay . I am becoming very depressed as I am very fearful of loosing the property . This is my only acquired asset so far after divorce . I am in arrears of about 8000 USD at this point . I am not expecting persons to pay my bills in totality , but at this stage I am seeking some assistance . Iam presently in Canada as a temporary resident ,but am am not able to work . i have to leave my homeland because my life was threatened by a student I did not even teach . I became very paranoid and fearful for my life , and so I decided to leave . I am closer to 60 years than 50 at this point , and might not be able to work to pay it off as my health is already deteriorating . Once there is evidence of payment being made , there is hope  of me still being the property owner. I am willing to show proof of ownwership as well as receipts already available . I am looking forward to your support as I continue to fight to keep this my dwelling .

Thanks Regards

Struggling with $6000 Personal Loan

Hello, I am Ray Anthony Mina. I’m a Canadian Citizrn but I’m pure Filipino. I was born in Ontario but grew up in the Philippines. I came back to Canada 6 years ago back in 2017 and I’ve been working in retail ever since until I quit last March this year here in Burnaby, British Columbia. I have $6000 worth of personal loan and that’s excluding interests. I have been looking for a job everyday and I’ve gotten into a few interviews but so far I haven’t been called back yet. I have been jobless for more than a month now and I only have enough money for a month when it comes to rent, groceries, bills and other necessities. I also have my cousin’s wedding this coming June in Montreal, Quebec which I promised to attend but I don’t know how to tell her that I’m in financial trouble. I know everything has to do with my decisions in the past, it is all my fault but I just want to have the opportunity to turn things around and become financially stable in the near future. With your help, I promise to help other people in need too when I get to a better situation because I know how hard it is. It even comes to the point that sometimes I wish I don’t wake up anymore just escape all of these problems but I know my family and friends would suffer. They are my inspiration to keep me strong and fight everyday. Please help me stand up to become stronger and I’d be able to have the strength and capacity to help those in need in the future.Thank you in advance and may you be blessed with more abundance in life!

Help me start my music school for less fortunate people.

My dream is to help people from troubled backgrounds, or drug addiction. I believe learning an instrument can be a healthy and rewarding experience, they say idle hands are the devils playground. I believe if you can take your mind away through music and practice, there is a better chance you can beat undesired addiction.

need help to regain my passion , profession and career

I’m a self-taught photographer and videographer located north of Toronto, Ontario

I have always favoured nature, animal and macro photography but my true specialty is unique photography. Playing with darkness, shadows and creative lighting effects to make the subject pop with vibrance.

I have been featured in many art galleries around the world and photography magazines and appeal to a wide variety of clients. I offered a variety of photo genres, in addition I serviced local photographers by editing photos and videos and tutoring clients.
Due to some health problems. I dropped down to 120 pounds rapidly (chronic IBS, vertigo, tinnitus and a pelvic hernia the size of an avocado) it took forever to improve because of the pandemic, limiting my ability for physical activity and quality of life. I haven’t been able to take photos for almost two years now. During this time I had to sell all my lenses, camera, accessories and computers to keep myself afloat, leaving me without the means to work in this profession nor the ability to continue to serve my clients, losing the additional source of income.
Having to sell my equipment broke my heart because it was never just a career, it was my passion and purpose.

Now my health has improved and am back up to 190 pounds but facing bankruptcy.

Heres my instagram pages for you to view my work, hopefully with your help I can get back into it and feel more like myself again.

Trauma difficult to function normally

Where is their hope?

For the first 5 years as a child, I was beaten with a belt buckle across my face and hands wrapped up in a belt. Whipped with a leash, and crying in pain are my childhood memories. There was on a separate occasion from different people where I was raped as a child until I fell asleep. Some also operated on me while I was home alone cutting my genitals open.

Hit over the head with one of those carnivals ring-the-bell hammers.

I’ve had over 8 unconscious blunt-force trauma incidents that knocked me out. Sometimes I lose track of how many there were.

Parents are alcohol and marijuana lovers and Friday night partyers. Can’t ask them for help.

I’ve tried working in minimum wage and am doing what I can for income, and It’s difficult to find salvation in money for this unfortunate life I’ve lived. Any amount of money would be exceptionally kind of you. I’m working online for $9/Day having to choose between food or clothes, can’t consider renting due to costs.

My mind is not in a safe place to go outside in public and work.

Desperate!!!!!!

Let me tell you a story. I answered an ad for a job online. It involves buying/selling data. Each “journey” consists of 35 reviews, which must be completed before you are able to cash out. My first journey went well and was completed without issue. On my second journey, I had to pay a large amount, which I did but unfortunately completed it 2 days late. Now I have a penalty to pay before I can cash out. I have spent every penny I have to be able to do this but I have nothing left. I am a widow and unable to find work. If I don’t pay within the week, my account is frozen and all is lost. I’m not greedy. I just want to live an average normal life. I help people when I can. I do not like to ask for help for myself. I just want this to be over. I require 18.5 ethereum or approx $78,000. I cannot do this alone. I can pay this back to you once my account has been completed if you so desire.
