Well I don’t even know where to start. I have 4 kids just struggling with life in general. These last 2 years or so have been one thing after another. I have been just barely making it paycheck to paycheck and then last year a new company bought out our park. It started with extra charges then lost checks, a new manager and more lost paperwork week after week, threating eviction and so on. I ‘ve been struggling trying to find another job I really need something work from home for extra income. I would much rather do that than ask for money, but things are soo bad, and on the verge of homelessness i just need that boost. I would like to be in the position where I can help people. So now to top things off I’m dealing with court I’ve never imagined I’d have to do. Me and a lady backed into each other in a parking lot, literally a BUMP! at like 1 mile per hour. Hardly any damage at all and all was good then I get a call two weeks later she’s got all these medical issues and is suing me! I’m behind on rent now, behind on taxes, and to top it off my car is in the shop the only car and may cost a couple grand to fix. Can’t get a loan, can’t afford a payment, have no savings, If I can’t find a car or able to get money to fix it I’m lost. I feel like I failed my family I just don’t know what to do.
So I looked up stuff online and found help sites so here I am hoping for a helping hand. Money initially would of course help, but It’s also temporary. So along with money I also ask for help, tips or leads on jobs, anything with some options to make some money so I can help other people in this position. On top of the challenges I face in the trucking industry, I was blindsided by the high electricity bill that has accumulated to $9,200. This surge in my electricity bill is mainly due to the fact that my solar panels, which had previously helped offset my energy costs, were out of commission for over two years. During this period, I was unaware of the accumulating bill as I believed that the solar panels were still contributing to my energy savings. Discovering this sizable debt has been an additional burden that has added to my financial woes.

I must emphasize that my intent was never to fall behind on my financial obligations. I have always been diligent in managing my finances and ensuring that my bills are paid promptly. However, the unprecedented combination of factors in my professional life and the unexpected energy expenses have left me in a precarious position. I am genuinely committed to rectifying this situation and regaining financial stability, but I find myself at an impasse without external assistance.

Three Disabled Women Two Wheelchair In Need Of One Safe Home To Live

My family and I had a house fire back in January of 2022.  We were instantly displaced and we have been displaced for over a year. We are in need of help and we are out of time to continue to stay where we are now. We recently received a five-bedroom housing voucher grant that is worth $3,346.00 per month to assist our family with rental payments. After a year of using the housing grant for rent, we can use it to buy a home.   I am writing this letter on Monday the 25th of September 2023. We have to have a place to go by October 24th because we moved into a house that didn’t pass inspection for our housing grant and the homeowner will not make the repairs that are required for our housing grant to pay. Before I get into explaining the details of our needs I would like to share some things about who we are.
I’ll start with my daughter Ashley aka Lady Bug. Ashley is 35 years old and she uses a motorized wheelchair. She was born prematurely and she has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, hydrocephalus, mild moderate developmental delays, Orthopedic issues, depression, anxiety, and obesity. Recently after the house fire Ashley was diagnosed and hospitalized for blood clots. While she was hospitalized they also discovered that she had a stomach ulcer and she has been having nightmares about being locked away from me and being alone and scared. Those are some of the health issues she deals with but I would like to tell you a little bit about her personality.
Ashley has always been a caring person. She is creative and she likes to write poems and songs. She loves listening to music. She’s a music connoisseur. When she was about 15 years old she told me she wanted to start a club for people with physical and mental challenges. She said, ” Although people call me disabled I don’t like that word. She said she would rather be called or referred to as a person with modified capabilities.
Ashley was rarely able to spend time with other people with modified capabilities so then she said she wanted her own radio channel that encouraged people with modified capabilities to believe in themselves and make their dreams come true. She felt like she could reach more people and encourage them with music, inspirational conversation, and good advice.  Ashley now has a book of poetry entitled Modify Capabilities and her Lady Bug Radio channel https://urbanstarradio.com/lady-bug-radio/   We hope to soon be able to add content to her channel that supports her dreams, but for now, we are all in survival mode.
Now, about my mother, Emma. My mother is 74 years old. She has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, kidney disease, diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis. My mom uses a wheelchair and sometimes oxygen. She moved here from Louisiana when my sister had to take a job driving trucks across the country. My mother needs someone with her 24 hours a day so she came to live with me.
 My mother and father raise my two sisters and myself and there are 9 grandchildren and 12 or more great-grands. My dad passed away in 2016 and my mom told me yesterday that she really misses him very much. A couple of days ago she had me go to YouTube and play Daddy’s favorite songs. It was emotional for all of us but I saw the pain in my mother’s face. I see the sweetness too; she needs to be comfortable and not stressed. She got to Las Vegas on December 19th, 2021 and since January 2022 after the house fire she has been hospitalized four or more times and she also had to stay in a rehab facility for a little over two weeks.  While she was there I saw that she was very sad.
Now about me, I am 55 years old. I was diagnosed with degenerative osteoarthritis in 2015 and given a motorized wheelchair. I had hip replacement surgery in December of 2017. Afterward, I’ve been able to walk without so much pain and I am thankful. I have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and insomnia. I have developed pretty good coping skills over the years but they are difficult to apply when we don’t have a stable place to live.
We had a little money saved before we moved into this house. The owner lives in Florida and he assured us that he would work with us to make sure the house would pass inspection but when he found out the cost to repair the heating and air-conditioning he refused to pay and asked us to move out. Then he filed for eviction.
We are asking for help to get money to find another place to move, fees, deposits, movers to help us move, a moving truck, and if we need a place to go before we find the right permanent place we’ll need help with that too.
We need a place to stay where we are all together with our live-in personal care provider and safe. We cannot afford to do any more rental applications when we are not approved for the home or apartment.
We need something that is wheelchair accessible and safe. We need someplace big enough for our medical equipment. We have searched for a single-story home that is large enough to accommodate our family’s needs and it has been a challenge to say the least.

Desperately in Need of a Blessing

Hello,

I am a single mother of 4 who has fell on hard times. I am writing this with the hope that it touches someone to help me. I am in desperate need of a financial blessing. I am currently unemployed (actually I’ve been placed on an unpaid administrative leave) and I am unable to pay rent for September and the month of October. I have received a demand for rent letter, which has to be paid by October 5th or else I will be facing eviction.

I like to take pride in the fact that I am a very independent person. I’ve been working for the past 25 years and while it hasn’t been easy I’ve been able to make it. This year unfortunately I had an accident, I fell and broke my ankle in 3 places which required surgery. I had my surgery in April and took time off of work. When it was time to return to work in June the company did not have placement for me, so I was placed on an unpaid administrative leave. Since then I have been looking for at home work, due to the fact that I am still in the healing process and can’t be on my feet for long periods of time. I have received a job offer, however the start date is pending. I was also receiving unemployment but that has been exhausted, so currently I do not have any income coming in. The amount of rent that needs to be paid for September is 1,541.69. This amount includes rent,water and late fee. This will be the same amount in October as well if paid after the 3rd. So I’m pretty much in need of 3,033.38. This covers what I’m behind for September and will take care of October as well. Any help is greatly appreciated. I’ve tried reaching out to other resources such as rental assistance programs but I have been unsuccessful. This is pretty much my last resort. Please help me support my family. I just lost my job.

Hello.  I’m a woman of four children.  Two school age and two under the age of five.  My youngest is five months.  I’m married and my husband and I hit hard times.  We are struggling to make ends meet now that we are living off one income.  It hit us pretty hard with me losing my job, having a baby, and using up our savings.  We have been doing everything we can to keep it together until I find employment but I haven’t heard anything.  With the boys birthdays coming up, drowning in debt (maxed out cards), things coming up for them with school, needing to buy them clothes, worried that we may not have the funds for Thanksgiving or Christmas, food in general, vehicle issues, we could really use some help.  We have really tried to keep things together for the family, but it’s taking its toll on us. Hello, my name is Naudia. I would like to request a moment of your attention. I am a single mom in between jobs in the Oil and Gas industry. I worked for my last employer for 10.5 years. I decided in November 2022 to start my own online drop shipping company. I couldn’t devote my time fully to work, my online business, and my child at the same time. I still believe it was a great choice, but it has taken longer than expected to start producing income. desperately need a new car

Few months ago, my car broke down and a friend of mine was kind enough to lend me one of her cars, which has been of tremendous help to me. However, I need to return it soon and I do not have enough funds to get a decent car that can hold for the next few years. In fact, since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, it has been hard for me to recover financially and make ends meet.
In addition to getting a new car, I resume my student loans repayment in October. I have medical bills to pay and I need to travel back home (Cameroon) to visit my father who has been critically sick for a while. Though all the above mentioned are all priorities to me, I believe that getting a car is the first I should tackle.
This is the reason why: prior to getting the car that I am currently using, I had two jobs. Unfortunately, I had to quit one. There were days that I would work both jobs and needed to catch the bus in between. However, the bus was not always on time, which caused me to show up late to my second job multiple times. That is the reason why I decided to quit instead of being a burden to my fellow coworkers.
Working only one job has significantly reduced my income. With a car, I will be able to get another job, provide for myself, and get the money I need for the other things on my list. So far, I have been able to save $2,000 but I need a total of $9,500 to get the car that I desire to buy from another friend of mine. He is selling a Toyota Rav 4 in good condition and with low mileage. It will be very helpful given the harsh winters that we get in Minnesota.

Hello Everyone,

I don’t have a super sad story and I’m sure there are a lot more people that need more help than I do. All my life I’ve had dental issues. My parents did their best with dental care when I was a child. I’m 38 now and I’ve lost just about all of my back teeth, I have an over bite to were my top and bottom teeth don’t touch when I close my mouth. I’m in constant pain, I can only eat certain foods, sometimes I can only eat half of my meal because of the pain. Covid destroyed our life

Hello. My husband and I are 54 and our daughter is 17. We were fortunate enough to have a stable life- enough income to cover our expenses and not too much debt, until the pandemic.

My husband fell into a severe depression because of covid. All around him he saw our country falling apart and going to war over masks and vaccines. Working in the healthcare industry where your goal is to take care of humanity and do no harm, covid took away his hope and idealism over the nature of human beings.  He was only able to work sporadically and at much effort mental health wise. I was still working but it wasnt enough.

We started relying on government pandemic loans to keep everything afloat. And now those loans are coming due. We had to put our home as collateral on these loans and are looking at losing our home, our pets, our belongings, all because of covid. And to make it even worse we both contracted covid last year and are still struggling healthwise due to our age. Chronic exhaustion, breathing issues and decreased quality of living.

23 year old just trying to make it

I’ve struggled with being financially poor my whole life. My family was never very well off, and they are simply unwilling/unable to help me. I don’t have a lot of connection, love or support from my family to be honest. I also struggle with adult ADHD (professionally diagnosed). It’s been a huge challenge running my own business this way, but I’m very passionate about my work so this keeps me motivated. I work much better running my own business than I do working for others.

I had been running a pretty sufficient small business selling my work since 2014. I’m an author of a currently ongoing comic series that I publish by myself, and I’m also an illustrator who sells my art products online. I was making a lot of great progress, until COVID completely ripped the rug out from under me. Everything I had worked so hard to build, what little financial stability I could obtain, my credit, was totally obliterated by the pandemic.

Now I’m in a fair bit of debt, and the payments I constantly need to make have made it impossible to save up for anything or invest in my business. I’m consistently struggling to pay my rent and bills. I’m living in constant fear of being evicted from my apartment. I’m currently only eating one meal a day because its all I can afford. I often need to sacrifice making a bill payment on time in order to keep my business running and my customers getting their products. Even this is a huge struggle, because I am also terribly behind on shipping my customers orders because the money always has to go elsewhere… I really need the financial help to deal with this.

The used car I drive is almost undrivable at this point and mechanics are telling me its not really worth repairing, and I live in a city where a car is very necessary for daily errands. I would really like to be able to afford to get myself another used car in better shape so I can stop worrying so much about that, also. I need my car to be able to do things like grocery shopping, shopping for work supplies, and other things of the like.

I’m on my knees pleading for any generous soul out there to help me get back on my feet. I really want to get my business back on track. Everything That Can Go Wrong Has And I’m Afraid of Asking What Else

I wanted to relocate to central America and continue with my business (SERT Data Recovery) as well as start new more passive income. I really hate to be negative but ever since I left my state things went terribly wrong. When I left i had $3000 and jobs I carried with me. I dont have a drivers license in the States so I packed up what I could of my office and my studio in my friends van and took off. I dont know how else to put it but before I even crossed the border I was left on the side of the road and in two hotels as I was dragged around Cali. 3 weeks of Cali and moving 6 times from airbnb to airbnb as my friend was trying to make some money with an old company (which she actually got sexually harassed tight in front of me 4 other employees of this guy). Being abandoned, psychologically tortured, threatened and blamed for everything and I was simply trying to continue to operate my company which I made pretty good money. The person I left half of my office and studio with a friend who I was trying to train to run the business ended up really hurting me and causing my business to crash hard and me lose a lot of money on top of it. Fast forward once crossing the border, I swear there is a connection between the Officials on the other side not stamping your passport so once you try to enter you are stuck in between. Literally. There are certain people waiting looking for people like me who needed to get past the line and into the next country but were refused because we didn’t get stamped. I have never driven out of the country i had no idea what to expect. I really dont want to talk about that much for obvious reasons, so fast forward to arriving in the destination my friend wanted and was familiar with in Guatemala. There is a huge lake and then there are a couple cities, and i needed the cities so I can run my businesses. So longest story of my life shortened here’s the details. Having zero control of anything except my actions (broke, spread out really thin, bounced around 15 times, kicked out of 2 places after making me promise 3-6 months because I offered to upgrade and pay for the wifi so I can work, Was making money even on Twitch streaming live mixes, but I found myself in a situation waiting to sell my house for 6 months. My cell phone shut off from ATT lost the number that verified my whole life. Which just happened again due to the means of 40 minute moto ride to an ATM i can use. I sold my house paid off many loans the mortgage and was left with what I would have made in 5 months at work. That was invested in a digital marketing business and more an AI education, a motorcycle accident intended to extort money from me and they have my bike still, a lawyer i couldn’t understand and sat and watched another lawyer in the ER write up some letter I couldn’t understand, this was actually after I found out the apartment i was living inby myself for 6 months was completely contaminated with ecoli and beechos (bugs). I realized why i had been sick so bad every month like clockwork. The owner who rented knew the lid to the water deposit wasn’t on it and long story short thinks its funny. I bought a new water deposit and had it installed so i could stop being sick. I invested alot of money and time into learning about the water situation here and it’s a sad sad story. I actually was developing a water testing and oversite company with education and regular testing and best practices would change the lives of so many people here who have for the last 40 years been contaminated with ecoli and other terrible things in the lake. I started seeing weird things and hearing and feeling bad vibes so i cut that project. I cant get too specific about some of these things as I’m stuck here still and in another n ew gorgeous house that has ecoli in the a water as well. I was setup in business deals 2 times basically robbed of a good bit of money additionally and if you can think of anything terrible that could happen to someone in Central America add knowing too much about the things you cant talk about. I have literally been working every day building my business and working towards a passive income as I’ve worked for my employees for 15 years. I’ve also given probably 30% of my income to church or some other type of philanthropical reason, Ive helped handfuls of people and made many people a lot of money. Now I have asked every business owner I know, and can help grow their business to let me do work for them, I have been mocked laughed at and disrespected by people I helped or tried to once upon a time. Its as if I’m asking for them to give me cash. I haven’t been broke and homeless in over 25 years, and I have helped thousands of people. I have 40,000 dollars worth of data recovery equipment and production gear and I cant even sell any of it, as no one has any money here where Im stuck. My leg doesn’t feel right from a motorcycle that slipped out on rocks, mud, and wet grass im not used to riding on and i had a softball on my shin. Everything in my life is jacked up and i keep working trying to get a client and get out of this contaminated place where ive been sick for 9 months. I have been living barely through one friend sending me what she can probably because she feels guilty. I cant get a friend that knows my capabilities to buy a service and i get leads everyday to my company that I cant run because i cant ship their drives the way I would need to. Between being sick, injured, extorted, robbed, setup, stuck in a place that would be cordoned off and evacuated in the US, and literally I made wise investments that a service provider caused me to lose a lot of money, and I have 12k coming to me from a  client i helped get 185K for when the IRS pays them their ERTC credits which could take up to 9 months. It’s crazy how little it would take to get me back in an at least healthy (not dying) place and get some clients. I need an abagado I can win damages from the rentor who terrorizes me over a power bill but laughs that i am sick. There really is just too much to really write and things I just cant, but I have no one that will help and I mean give me some work to do for them. Not even my mentor lol not my mom my sister commented on how bad i looked and then didn’t talk to me and didn’t know id been sick. OMG do I need help and my spiritual father  ….. I really can’t believe what my situation has done to the few relationships that were real. Ive lost access to my business emails, some accounts, my phones and numbers, and all I can do is talk to the locals here about the water and suggest different things i mean i get laughed at, but most don’t know HOW bad it is. They know its bad, but ok. I’ve never asked for a dime I didn’t earn and usually gave a dang discount even then. I still dont intend that. I have many ways to help business owners, the people here need help, because of the tourism I cant say anything else, but there’s many people come here and think that things are what they are not. I need to move to a safe area of this beautiful country where I can make a living, and help people which Ive done for 16 years. This place is 30 years behind the US. They dont understand the power of digital marketing and taking your business online. I’d love to educate them and I try and they could improve their QOL, but now I’m just as bad off and well….. i need help like ive never needed help and I have no friends or anyone that will help me give me some work without trying to completely take advantage of me. Let me do something to help you help me PLEASE! Not sure what’s gonna happen being sick so long, and now my leg and I need to vacate this  house in two days. I would like to get my bike back and press charges for extortion but i cant even get back to the place where it all happened and then get the guy who got me sick off my back and have the last laugh there but id like to be able to take a shower in water that is not contaminated. Dental Work Needed

Hello, my name is Kim. I am sixty-seven and female.

I am going to be honest with you, I really need your help.

All my adult life I have been independent, worked hard and took care of myself. I never married. I have always tried to live a Christian life. I was a foster parent for years, always trying to help children who were in need. I have also been a volunteer in my community at the men’s and women’s shelters and worked faithfully in my church.

When I was in my late twenties, I had to have work done on my teeth. My mother had soft brittle teeth and I inherited that from her. Long story short, I wound up having to get three bridges and crowns. The dentist did an amazing job. That dental work held up for thirty-five plus years, until my diagnosis with breast cancer in July 2018.

The cancer was in my left breast and duct tissue. I underwent six months of chemotherapy and steroids. I lost all my hair, eye lashes and eyebrows. Despite my appearance, I put on a wig and makeup and went to work every day, arriving at 7:00 a.m. and leaving at 3:30 p.m. to go for treatments. At the end of January 2019, I had a mastectomy. I was off work for six weeks for surgery and recovery. That is all my insurance would allow. During June and July of that same year, I underwent thirty-seven treatments of radiation. The radiation burned me across my chest area, and it was raw in areas, yet I got up and went to work every day. I also had two reconstructive surgeries, the last one being in December 2019. I was recovering from my last surgery in early January 2020 when COVID hit. I went back to work in February. By mid-March, I was working from home. I continued to see my oncologist and complained about my teeth chipping, breaking, turning yellow and feeling sensitive. Three or four times while I was eating, my teeth broke off and I had to spit out my food because it had tooth particles in it. I was so stressed out with medical bills. I could not afford a dental bill. My goal was to keep paying the bills and hope my teeth would hold up. Most of my time was spent indoors, so I really did not encounter a lot of people.

By the time we went back to work in the office, it was November 2021. I started having issues with my teeth. My bottom right bridge broke and I had to have it removed. Two months later the top right bridge broke and I had to have it taken out also. I have no teeth on the right side of my mouth. The left upper side of my mouth has a bridge as well and I am missing a tooth on the lower left bottom. I chew on the left side of my mouth. My front teeth are cracking, chipping, and breaking. Three of my doctors told me chemo and radiation do this to the teeth. I could not believe it. Now I am losing my teeth.

Yet, another health issue would be upon me, in 2022. My vision began to fail me. I could barely drive during the daytime, and I did not dare drive at nighttime. I used Dollar Store readers to help me get through work. Things were tight, but I stayed strong. Finally, I was able to get to a point financially where I could have cataract surgery in my right eye and purchase an expensive pair of glasses I needed. I felt so much better and relieved. But just when I thought things were starting to calm down, I would suffer another blow.

I was teleworking at home on a beautiful bright summer morning in June 2022. I received an email asking me to attend a 9:00 a.m. call. The call was short and to the point. My manager thanked all fifteen of us for our hard work and dedication to the company. She then informed us the company was terminating us. Once the call ended, I submitted my time sheet. Corporate planned to have the equipment picked up. That was it. I could not believe it. I spent the rest of my day thinking about what my next steps should be. I still had medical appointments to go to and medication I had to buy. I just shook my head. I filed for my social security. I wanted to have it in place before my unemployment ran out. I was under a tremendous amount of stress by now, both emotionally and financially. I knew unemployment was not going to be very much or last long. I applied to companies for work, but most applications that I filled out considered me handicapped, because I had gone through cancer treatment. I am still going through treatment, and I do have three or four issues such as lymphedema in my right arm and neuropathy in both feet, however that does not limit me from working. I am still trying to get a job. I still have various doctor appointments and tests to undergo. I am still taking medication. Hopefully, I will finish my treatments in 2025.

It is 2023 and I just had another cataract removed. This time it was my left eye. I have been able to weather the storm with all my medical issues and bills. It has been one thing after another. At this point, I am reaching out and asking for help. My left upper bridge needs removing, and a lower jaw tooth needs pulling. I feel tingling in both. Once this happens, I will not have any teeth on either side of my mouth. My front teeth are cracking, chipping, and breaking. I do not want my teeth to negatively affect my health. I need to take care of this before it gets worse. If I could borrow the money, I would, but I cannot because I am on a fixed income now. I am asking you to please help me. I want to smile and laugh again without covering my mouth. I will feel so much better. I would really like to get implants, so please donate.

A College Student Who Found Himself Homeless And In Debt In A New World

To whom It May Concern,

I arrived in Puerto Rico from the United States on the 16th of May 2023, on my 29th birthday. I left the United States and everyone I knew (including my immediate family) behind. I did it to fulfill my desire to move to Puerto Rico, study at a university, and get in touch with my Puerto Rican ancestral roots.

When I enrolled in college, I did not have enough funds to cover student housing cost of living. I also did not have enough funds to stay in hostels.

On May 31, I became homeless. I looked for programs located within the San Juan area that help homeless people receive temporary shelter. Until August 2023, I was homeless. I sought out homeless shelters to cover my needs: food, water, shelter, and personal hygiene.

I am currently a transfer student at a university pursuing an associate degree in Business Administration. In order to reside in student housing, I had to take out student loans to cover living expenses. Therfore, I had to get myself into debt in order to survive and give myself an opportunity to succed and thrive to improve my living circumstances.
