Single woman got scammed by a Tinder guy

Hello!

I am begging you to help me stand back on my feet.

I am a single woman who got scammed by a man I met on Tinder. We talked for 2 weeks and he was very charming and attentive, always thinking about my wellbeing and acting like he cares about my safety.

He talked a lot about having a good, stable job and being ready for marriage. He also mentioned that his previous girlfriend cheated on him and left him for his best friend, stealing all his money at the same time. He presented himself as a victim, who got later on helped by some people who were teaching him how to make money on cryptocurrencies.

He said he can also teach me. We told me how to set up an account with my own ID and use it for some transactions. I made a little profit. But his behavior started being aggressive and I wanted to withdraw the money from the platform he told me to use.

Then he pulled the big move and, , acted like he borrowed my 20000 on the platform and then multiplied it many times but to withdraw it, I had to pay “tax” to the US government. Long story short, if you don’t know how these platforms work, it’s very scary. People don’t have the knowledge and get scammed. I didn’t pay the tax, I asked around and learnt there is no such thing. That cryptocurrency website was a well organized scam and this man was working with them. A man I met on Tinder. I escaped him thinking that I only lost 900 dollars.

But that’s when the real nightmare starts. I wanted to learn how the real cryptocurrencies work and make my money back. I wanted not to be just a woman, a victim, who allowed such humiliating treatment and abuse.

I have already been unemployed for 2 years previously, single, broke and now also angry and humiliated. All my guilt and shame I experience during my entire life just exploded in me.

I took an online loan for 1500 dollars and found another website for cryptocurrency trading, this time a legit one, to start making trading. I have also found a teacher, a real finance man who was gonna tell me how to do it. He also borrowed me 3500 dollars to make up for I lost to the scammers.

We made the transaction successfully and after I tried to withdraw the money, I got a message from the website that my account is being frozen on the suspicion of being involved in the money laundering.

The people who I though were just normal thieves and scammers, the guy from Tinder, was way worse. He was a money launder who used my account. Now a legal financial website for cryptocurrency trading thought I was one of them. Somehow they can see that my account was involved with that fraudulent website. In the cryptocurrency the only law is money. They asked me to participate in an investigation. They asked me to fulfill multiple steps. It already consumed thousands of money that my loved ones have borrowed me. They dropped the money laundering accusations a pretty quickly but since I was a new user and my credit score was low, I couldn’t withdraw the money. And they website owners kept saying my account is suspicious behavior and now they want me to go back to proving that my account is not at risk of being stolen and the only way to prove my identity is with money. I am already having a nervous breakdown and I think I am going crazy. Now they are asking 6628 dollars. No bank will borrow me money, as I have been unemployed for 2 years. I can’t ask family or friends anymore because they worry about me, they knew I lost the ground under my feet long time ago. Nobody really understands what it all means.

I am begging you for any contribution and when I collect this money to pay the fee to the crypto trading platform, I still have a shot of getting my money back. Otherwise I am completely bankrupt and humiliated. For being a woman, for trusting men, then for trying to prove my identity, for clearing myself from the accusation of a money laundering. For being naive and having dreams like anyone else. Especially for having a dream of a partner who will support you.

Please help, maybe together we can collect that money and I can get my sanity back.

Car Out for repossession

I am a young single woman who lives alone. Entrepreneur, whose business has taken a fall due to the pandemic and now inflation. My car lender has charged my car loan off and now I have to pay the car off in full to keep it. This is my only form of transportation. My only other option is to file bankruptcy. I don’t think that is a good idea for me because I plan on getting out of this bind and getting back on my feet soon. The bankruptcy will keep me from being able to keep my business or get business funding later. Without my car I won’t be able to work. The total amount is 18,000.

Out of Options, Time, Resources,and Chances

While our need is far greater than the $1500 I am asking for help with today, this will prevent our eviction, losing our home, pay our car insurance set to cancel tonight and register my husbands car that was due in June. I have nowhere else to turn. I have no more ideas as to where I can find help and robbing Peter to pay Paul has been more than exhausted. The overwhelming stress, of just trying to survive, is destroying us, emotionally, mentally and physically.

December 19, 2021 my husband became ill and had to be off work. Despite taking multiple test for Covid, which returned all returned negative, he was admitted to intensive care on January 11, 2022 with a severe case of Covid Pneumonia where he remained until January 16, 2022. In that 1 month our son also got Covid and was home sick. I know I got it but being the person who had to take care of our family in that moment meant I had no option but to do whatever it took to stay standing. My husband was unable to return to work until March 18, 2022. During that time I applied for Short Term Disability and FMLA for him. Sixty percent of his normal income was better than nothing I thought but instead it was the beginning of this nightmare that continues today. First payment of STD didn’t come until February 26, 2022 and it was only for $236! He did not receive any further payment from them until the day after he returned to work. That only happened because I went through hell with his HR dept. and the STD provider and making it part of, what was to become, my new full time job, surviving. Things only got worse upon him returning to work. His employer took his entire paycheck not just once but three times to repay insurance premiums they said he owed. I thought getting sixty percent of his income was bad now we had zero for almost 2 months. This lead to us having to take 401K loans, expensive pay day loans, title loans on our vehicles and pawning countless items that we also are about to lose. I also had to apply for Rental Assistance, Food Stamps, HEAT assistance and all that those processes entail. I also discovered, when going through my husbands paystubs, that his employer had been imputing his income for my portion of the insurance benefit because I was his Domestic Partner and not his legal Spouse. By law I am his legal dependent and they should not have been doing this. This began an entirely new battle that continues to this day in an effort to recover that money along with the money they kept his entire paychecks for, which I found out was also illegal.

It all got a lot worse on October 11, 2022, just 7 months after returning to work from Covid, my husband was badly injured on the job. His had was broke in several places and required immediate surgery. Once again we were living on sixty percent of his income and once again when he returned to work February 26, 2023 they kept his entire paychecks for multiple pay periods leaving us nothing.

Through all this we had to keep refinancing the high interest loans loans we had taken out, took out another 401K loan, made a hardship withdrawal from 401K, lost our Food Stamps because now that he returned to work we were “making to much money” so I began that battle as well which continues today. We also had an increase of our rent of almost $400, had to pay for repossession of my husbands car and were trying to find an attorney for the employment issues who had a free consultation and would work strictly on a contingency fee with no retainer.

Today we are paying out over $600 dollars a month for everything we had to borrow during my husbands illness and injury. We were wrongfully evicted (very long story) and we have been battling the number one eviction attorney in our state for the past year as Pro Se Litigants, all of which is reliant upon me because he is at work. We have been denied any help with our rent both in the previous apartment and with our current lot rent. Why? Because we received rental assistance during Covid! My parents helped us by our mobile home and what have they received for helping us out by carrying the mortgage? One payment in a year. I have applied for the Housing Assistance Fund and been denied twice and currently awaiting my appeals hearing. We are going to be evicted which also means the loss of the home we are buying which will leave us nowhere to go. I am faced with the reality of having to handle another court case on our own for the employment while still battling the previous landlord in court. The application for Food Stamps has issues, again, and without the Food Stamps there will be another fight trying to get HEAT assistance and the state still won’t come to our aid with any assistance for rent. We have also been on the waiting list for HUD Section 8 for over a year now.

We just need to save our home, vehicles and have a mere second to breathe. The cost to pay of everything borrowed during Covid and bring the mortgage current etc is $20,000 and with God’s help we will find a way to make that happen.

Today $1500 will save our home, vehicles and give the chance to fight another day. I can’t begin to tell you what it would mean to us if anyone can see their way clear to help us out with this money. Words would never be enough. We are in need of a miracle and help from people we don’t even know. I turn this over to God now and pray for help.

Hello , I am A 55yr old female with debilitating arthritis in almost 95% of my joints, So  i cannot work a physical demanding job. I do collect social security disability to a big whopping 1600 check every month. My credit is bad i mean bad 560. So a loan from a bank is out of the question. Here is what the money is needed for…..1. I have had my truck for over 15 years I am the second owner. My ex to which we have been separated for 4 years. Well long story short when we were married he decided to drive my truck through 41/2 feet of water and hydrolocked  my trucks engine i was given an estimate of 8000 to replace the engine with a new one since the truck is a collecters item its best to replace with the same  as the original. Well this truck is very sentimental to me in the way i took both my mastiffs to cross the rainbow bridge in it. My grandson whom i adore had his very first car ride ever from the hospital home. i can no longer see him after him being in my life for four years now, his dad refuses to let me see him because him and my daughter are no longer together he proved my daughter unfit she cannot see him either due to her increased drug use, which i understand but in michigan we do not have grandparents rights, well i havent seen him in 2 yrs now, thats just the tip of the memories in my truck. I have a emotional attachment to this truck. Everyone says just to sell it but i cant fathom that idea. 2. I need to get my divorce so i can put my mobile home in my name so i can get some much needed repairs done. The home was left to me by my late aunt and the home has mold and carpet beetles bad, I myself pulled up most of the carpet and bombed my house but beetles remain and the mold is tearing my skin up i have very dry skin iy cracks on my face ,arms ,neck etc.  Unfortunately its made me so self conscience that i rarely go outside even on beautiful days. My hair started breaking off and so i had to cut 12 inches off my hair just to make it look somewhat normal, now my truck my skin my hair are just a few things i need the money for . I was told it would cost me 1200 dollars to tent my house to take care of all the pest problems. its now affecting my dogs and pet raccoon. they are also loosing hair in patches and constantly scratching. And no they do not have fleas. It was different when it just affected me but my fur babies are suffering now. 3.My terrific genes from both parents left me with soft teeth in my later years i have no molars to chew they broke in half luckily my medicare paid to have them removed but now Iam missing many teeth and along with my skin issues i am a mess and i cry myself to sleep almost every night. I dont go out because of my  money  situation and who would want a reptilian no teeth girlfriend with a messed up home and no vehicle i have alot to offer i cant stand to look in the mirror at myself much less try to get a boyfriend. And the kicker is I used to be a beautiful human being. The money would be used also for dental implants that cost up too 15000 out of pocket or i could finance them but like i said in the beginning my credit score is very bad so financing is out of the question. And my insurance will not pay for a dermatologist. Again out of pocket money which is 150 for just the office call besides whatever tests they perform.I also would like to get some kind of cheap flooring put down like vinal flooring or wood floors instead of looking at plywood floor with stains in the wood that will not come up. So too put into perspective what i need the money for is to fix my house to look like a home on the inside and fix the vinyl siding and roof so the leaks stop and the mold will stop growing. And the hopefully my medical conditions hopefully will improve my skin ,hair etc. A new smile so it will get my confidence back and maybe a significant other, fingers crossed. My divorce which no kids or property is only 1500. I am tired of his last name as to where we have been separated long enough. Hopefully to hire a lawyer to be able to see my grandson before he forgets who i am. Rough estimate around 5000-10000.Then theres my truck that i am so sentimental about 10,000, Then 1000 to take all animals to the vet to get proper meds and tests to help improve their condition.500 to a dermatologist, So I am begging for 50,000. what ever is left over from the list above will go into my grandsons college fund.

Je vous écris aujourd’hui avec le cœur lourd et rempli d’espoir. Ma mère traverse une période très difficile. Depuis quelque temps, elle fait face à de graves problèmes de santé, et il n’y a rien de plus douloureux pour moi que de la voir souffrir ainsi. Elle a toujours été là pour moi, et c’est une femme qui a sacrifié tant de choses pour s’assurer que je manque de rien. Aujourd’hui, plus que jamais, j’aimerais lui rendre un peu de tout ce qu’elle m’a donné.

L’un de ses plus grands rêves a toujours été de faire le tour du monde, de découvrir de nouveaux horizons, de voir d’autres cultures, et de profiter des merveilles que la vie a à offrir. Malheureusement, sa santé est de plus en plus fragile, et le temps ne joue pas en notre faveur. Je veux plus que tout pouvoir réaliser ce rêve avec elle, lui permettre de vivre des moments inoubliables malgré les épreuves qu’elle traverse.

Cependant, ma situation financière est assez compliquée. Pour pouvoir accompagner ma mère dans ses déplacements médicaux et l’aider dans son quotidien, j’ai absolument besoin d’une voiture. Cela me permettrait de l’amener plus facilement à ses rendez-vous médicaux, mais aussi, un jour, de pouvoir voyager avec elle et lui faire découvrir certains endroits qu’elle rêve de visiter. Malheureusement, je n’ai pas les moyens financiers pour acheter cette voiture. Mes économies ne suffisent pas, et mes ressources sont limitées.

C’est pourquoi je fais appel à vous, avec beaucoup d’humilité, en espérant obtenir un soutien financier pour m’aider à acheter ce véhicule. HELP ME TO KEEP MY HOME

I have been living in this house for ten years after I got divorced from my late husband in 2005, who left me and my one son with nothing, giving all his money to his family (brothers and sisters). After my divorce I have been renting from place to place and stayed in five different places from 2006 to 2014.  I decided to buy a house for us in 2014 staying there for ten years now. I retired recently with no pension/provident fund whatsoever because I worked for an NPO. My life just changed overnight as I was sitting with a problem and could not afford to pay my mortgage bond. I am now in arrears with $3500 and a full balance of $14000. I cannot afford to pay anymore, and the bank wants their money and threatened to put my property on auction by October 2024. Property Tax Bill

When they decided to build the stadium near our community, many worried about what it would mean for our property taxes. Unfortunately, those fears became a reality, and the taxes nearly doubled. As a single mother, my home is the one asset I can pass on to my child, who has just started college. Please, I’m asking for help to save my house.

The bank is going to take it away from me because it has become very difficult for us to pay the installments.

The debt is in UVR (a type of currency that changes its price constantly in Colombia) and the payment is very high. My father was the one who was paying, but he took on other responsibilities and can no longer take care of it.

The main reason we want to keep the house is because of my little sister. She passed away and that house is the best memory we have of her since we lived there all her life. Her room is still just as she left it and her things, even though we have given away some things like her shoes and things like that, are still there.

Arriving at that house is reliving the memories of her life, when I arrived she would run out to greet me and hug me, we would play in the park in front, her birthdays…

We also know that it is something material and she will always live in our hearts, but it hurts more to lose our family home and the truth is that on the other hand it is my inheritance, it is where my mother is at peace, it is where our pets are.

My parents bought the house for more or less 80 million, my father paid on time for almost 7 years, after my sister passed away he left, my mother and I with great effort paid off the debt for almost 2 years, but since we couldn’t gather the total of the installments, what we paid was lost because the debt kept getting bigger and bigger and now we see the debt appears to be 80 million in total, all this time we have only paid the interest and nothing has been paid on the house, that is also frustrating.

At this moment we owe 20 million Colombian pesos to stay up to date with our payments. I am asking for help to pay those 20 million. I know that everyone has their own emergencies and situations, but I am asking for help because I want to do everything within my power.

I am a hard worker and I know that I will achieve financial success. I am committed to paying, and I am asking for a loan with easy payment options.
