Help a Father Walk Again: A Desperate Appeal for Hope

Five years ago, my world turned upside down in an instant. One moment, I was a businessman, a husband, and most importantly, a father who could run, play, and dance with his children. The next moment, after a devastating accident in 2019, I was fighting for my life in a hospital bed, my left leg shattered beyond recognition.

I survived but at a devastating cost. My once-functional leg now hangs lifeless, constantly reminding me how dramatically life can change. For five long years, I’ve been trapped in a body that won’t let me be the father and husband I desperately want to be. My two beautiful children, both just over 10 years old, have had to watch their father struggle with the simplest tasks. My wife, my guardian angel, has shouldered burdens no spouse should have to bear alone.

The businesses I built with years of hard work have crumbled without my presence. Our financial security, once stable, has vanished like morning mist. But what hurts most isn’t the physical pain or the lost income – it’s the look in my children’s eyes when they want to play, and I can’t join them. It’s watching my wife exhaust herself trying to be both mother and father, provider and caregiver. It’s feeling like a burden to the very people I’m supposed to protect and support.

Now, I face a critical deadline that fills me with terror. Without urgent surgical intervention – both knee and neurological procedures – doctors say they’ll have no choice but to amputate my leg. The deterioration is accelerating, and time is running out. This surgery, costing $25,000, is my last chance to reclaim my life, to stand tall again, to be the father my children deserve.

For five years, I’ve knocked on every door, explored every possibility, and pursued every opportunity to raise these funds. Each rejection, each dead end, has felt like another small death. But I refuse to give up. I can’t give up – not when my family’s future hangs in the balance.

This is why I’m reaching out to you today, with humility and hope in my heart. I understand times are hard for everyone, but I’m asking you to consider helping me take this one last chance at walking again. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to:

  • Standing beside my wife as an equal partner, not a dependent
  • Playing with my children in the yard, instead of watching from the window
  • Returning to work to provide for my family
  • Regaining my dignity and independence
  • Keeping my leg and avoiding amputation

The $25,000 needed for these surgeries seems like an insurmountable mountain to me now, but I believe in the power of human kindness and collective compassion. Your support wouldn’t just be paying for a medical procedure – it would be giving a father back to his children, a husband back to his wife, and a man back his dignity and purpose.

Time is critically short. Without intervention this month, my doctors say amputation will become inevitable. Every day that passes brings more pain, more deterioration, and more fear about what the future holds for my family.

I never imagined I would find myself in a position where I had to beg strangers for help. But here I am, humble and hopeful, asking for your compassion. Any amount you can contribute will bring me one step closer to walking again, to being whole again, to being the father and husband my family deserves.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your consideration alone means the world to me, and your help, if you’re able to give it, would mean everything.

With profound gratitude and hope,

Injured man trying to work from home.

My name is James. I used to work a regular job but I was in a terrible car accident and now I have 3 metal plates in my right hip and two in my right arm.                        I just get a small check every month and its really hard to live on.

I started selling on Ebay. I look at websites that sell items at a discount. I buy what they sell and list it on Ebay. The problem is that I need to buy better products to sell.

I would also like to start my own website. A website that I could pay someone to design for me. I’m not sure how to do that.

When selling online I believe to be profitable I need at least 10 orders a day. I know that if I had better products that I would sell much more.

I thought about a loan but I get not enough money to pay it back.

I did learn a lot from selling over the years on Ebay.

I will need money for a postage meter and shipping supplies. a fax machine and advertising, especially if I start a website. Thank you.

I am seeking   Fifteen thousand, I believe that it would be a great help.

Thank You

A Journey of Resilience: Seeking Support for a New Beginning

Life has been a relentless series of trials for me since 2016, but my love for my children and my determination to rebuild my life have kept me moving forward. Today, I am writing to ask for your support as I strive to create a stable home, pursue education, and build a better future for my youngest son and myself.

In 2016, I gave birth to my second son. What should have been a joyful time quickly turned into a battle with postpartum depression. A suicide attempt left me scarred but alive, determined to change. My relationship ended, and I moved in with my mother, bringing my two sons along. Yet, the environment was difficult, and I faced a lack of support that made my struggles with stress and financial instability unbearable.

Despite working two jobs, I was overwhelmed, and the only coping mechanism I knew was the one I fought hard to avoid—substance use. While I wanted to seek help, the logistics of being a single parent made it seem impossible. The tension at home escalated, and I eventually found myself homeless, living out of my car and working as an Uber driver.

COVID-19 brought more challenges, but also a glimmer of hope. My brother helped me secure a brief stay in a hotel, during which I met the man I would later marry. However, that relationship introduced new layers of trauma through domestic abuse. My youngest son was diagnosed with autism during this time, and I fought to provide him with the care and education he needed, even as I grappled with my own instability.

In 2022, my ex-husband’s abuse escalated to a near-fatal incident, leading to his incarceration. I sought refuge in rehabilitation again, hoping to reunite with my children. Tragically, my oldest son had grown distant, coping with his own struggles through substance use and gang involvement. His mental health deteriorated, leading to schizophrenia and multiple suicide attempts. Despite all my efforts, he passed away after his final attempt.

The pain of losing my son has been unbearable. It has also been a profound wake-up call about the devastating consequences of untreated mental health issues and the over-prescription of pharmaceuticals to minors. I am determined to honor his memory by creating a stable life for my youngest son and advocating for change in mental health and substance abuse treatment.

My vision is to go back to school and study psychology, with a focus on alternative and plant-based medicines. I want to spread awareness about the dangers of over-prescription and advocate for holistic approaches to mental health care. To do this, I need a foundation: a stable home, reliable transportation, and the resources to pursue my education.

I am humbly seeking financial support to achieve these goals. Your help would provide the means to secure housing, cover schooling costs, and ensure that my youngest son and I have the stability to heal and thrive. My journey has been marked by unimaginable pain, but it has also taught me resilience and the power of hope.

With your support, I can turn my pain into purpose. I want to be a voice for those who feel unheard, to create a brighter future for my son, and to honor the memory of the son I lost by making a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you for considering my story and my request. Your generosity would mean the world to my family and me.

Sincerely,

Crystal

Help Rebuild My Father’s Legacy: A Battle Against Unfairness and Loss

Im asking for $75.000 In 2017, I made a promise to my dying father that I would be there for him in his final years. He was suffering from cancer, and I was homeless. He asked me to move in with him, and I agreed. We spent three years together, helping him through his final days. But after he passed away, the struggles didn’t stop. In fact, they only grew harder. The Fire and Loss Six months after my father’s passing, I woke up to the worst nightmare I could imagine: my home was on fire. I fought through the flames to escape, burnt my hands but the damage was severe. While the house was still salvageable, I had no insurance, the fire was started by my fiends make-up lights fire men told me it was  caused by an electrical short and I was already in financial distress. I had plans to rebuild, to restore the home and honor my father’s memory. A Town That Turned Its Back However, I quickly learned that the town where I had lived my entire life wasn’t going to make it easy for me. Despite my father’s long-standing contributions to the community, including donating thousands of his art prints to the Alberta Summer Games and having his work displayed in the governor’s residence, the town refused to let me rebuild. They claimed the house was unsafe, even though it was perfectly sound. For the next two years, I fought with every ounce of strength I had just to survive. Lost Opportunities and Intimidation I tried to buy a piece of land nearby, but when the town got wind of it, they threatened the owner with bulldozing his house if he sold it to me. I was left with no options. A friend kindly offered me a fifth wheel to put on the property while I worked to rebuild, but again, the town intervened. They told me I couldn’t live there, threatening my elderly neighbor, who was simply helping me with power, that she would face charges if she continued. They even went as far as condemning my father’s home and bulldozing it down to the ground, erasing a legacy that meant so much to me and so many others. A Community’s Disrespect This wasn’t just about a house; it was about a legacy. My father was a provincial artist who was beloved by many. His art brought people together and created lasting memories. I am not a drug addict or a criminal. I’m a crossdresser, and sadly, that seemed to be enough of a reason for some people in this town to treat me with disdain. It was obvious that I wasn’t wanted there.  by some of the town folk A Call for Help Now, I’m turning to you. I need your help to rebuild not just a house, but a home, a legacy, and the life my father and I dreamed of. The struggles I’ve faced have been overwhelming, but I am determined to honor my father’s memory and restore what was unjustly taken from me. If you can, please donate to help me rebuild my father’s home. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing my story with others who may be able to help would mean the world to me. How You Can Help  If you’re unable to donate, any support you can offer—whether through sharing this post or offering advice—would be deeply appreciated. Together, we can help make sure my father’s legacy is never forgotten and that the home he worked so hard to create will rise again. Thank you for your kindness, your time, and your support. Closing: With heartfelt gratitude,

Mark bell

Let’s help Nancy fulfill her dreams

We want to share with you the story of Nancy, a 59-year-old woman who has dedicated her life to caring for others, leaving her own dreams and desires in the background. Nancy turns 60 in a few days, but her path has not been easy.

From a young age, she faced great challenges. She never received the warm support of her parents, who, marked by a strict upbringing almost 80 years ago, did not offer her the affection she needed. Despite this, Nancy found her purpose in life: to give unconditional love. At 40 years old, she adopted her children, dedicating herself completely to raising them with dedication and sacrifice, leaving aside her own desires.

Unfortunately, Nancy suffers from kidney failure, a condition with no return. She now faces an uncertain future, but we want to change that. Although she never had the opportunity to travel, explore her city or fully enjoy life, we believe that it is still possible to give her moments of happiness.

In Argentina, the economic reality is harsh. With a minimum pension of around 400 USD per month, it is difficult to cover basic needs, much less fulfill dreams. However, we are determined to give Nancy the opportunity to experience things she never got to enjoy.

How can you help?

Your contribution, no matter the amount, will be a step towards the goal of making her remaining years full of joy, unforgettable experiences and moments of peace. With your help, we can fulfill Nancy’s dream and show her that it is never too late to live fully.

Any contribution makes a difference. Help us give Nancy the opportunity to see places, enjoy activities and create memories she will treasure forever.

Thank you for being part of this very special cause!

Divorce/Child Support/Living Expenses/Disability

To whom it may concern,
I am now a single dad, and I have been struggling since January to find steady work. I was fired due to the fact I was going through severe anxiety and depression leading up to and after the divorce that my ex-wife announced on Dec 26th 2023. I am in an apartment in Orlando, and have been barely able to make rent or make enough money to feed myself. When I do have money that isn’t going towards bills, I use it to feed my kids or invest in the business I’m building. I also recently saw a sleep doctor who told me I likely have narcolepsy due to the extreme stress and depression of the divorce, but I have not been able to officially make a sleep study appointment due to the fact I could no longer afford my health insurance, so I have no official diagnosis. However, it is greatly affecting my day-to-day life, and I am having trouble being able to focus on any work that I do have, no matter how hard I work to focus and stay awake during my episodes. I also have been told by the court since the divorce that I need to pay $1135 monthly in child support despite the fact I lost my job in January, which like I said, I don’t have a regular job (even though I’ve been applying like crazy), So I am barely able to make rent or utility payments. If this goes on much longer I will end up homeless, and my kids won’t have a place to go to see their dad on a regular basis, which I see as extremely important, as they have been through so much with their narcissistic mom. Any help would be very appreciated and God Bless!

Severe Financial Hardship

First, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read about my situation. Secondly, this is a very hard ask. I am an independent contractor, and my income is based on clientele. I am an esthetician, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. I am no stranger to working. Unfortunately, my finances/savings have been depleted, and my bank account is in the negative, which is scary and embarrassing. I have an upcoming phone and health insurance monthly premium payment coming due. I also need to replace the grinding brakes on my vehicle. It is not a fancy vehicle. She is quite old, but it got me where I needed to be. I have medical co-payments due at the time of service for a couple of doctor appointments. Each co-payment is $20. It seems to be a small amount, but it is huge when you don’t have it. It seems as if everything happened at once, leaving me blindsided. I am in need of $471.38. I thank you again for your time and consideration. Be well

Seeking Support After Job Loss and Scam Devastation-Anything will help

I never imagined I would find myself in this position, but I am reaching out for help after experiencing a series of devastating events that have left me struggling to make ends meet.

Right before the holidays, my position was unexpectedly eliminated, leaving me without an income and facing the harsh reality of supporting myself with close to nothing. The timing could not have been worse, as it has left me scrambling to cover essential expenses like rent, car payments, and food.

In my desperation to secure a new role, I fell victim to a sophisticated “pig butchering” scam. It began with what appeared to be a promising opportunity on LinkedIn. Trusting the process, I engaged with what I thought was a legitimate job lead. Tragically, this turned out to be an elaborate scheme that robbed me of nearly all my savings. The financial and emotional toll of this betrayal has been overwhelming.

I am actively searching for new opportunities in leadership roles such as Vice President, Senior Vice President of Operations, or Chief Operating Officer, where I can bring my extensive experience in transformational leadership, operations management, and business growth to make a meaningful impact. However, as anyone who has faced an unexpected job loss knows, the process of finding the right position takes time—a resource I am quickly running out of.

I am humbly asking for your help to bridge this gap. Whether it’s assistance with basic necessities like rent, car payments, and food, or a connection to a potential job opportunity, any support would mean the world to me. My goal is to regain stability and rebuild after these unforeseen setbacks.

If you can help financially, it would provide immediate relief during this incredibly challenging time. If you know of opportunities in my field in the southern California area or can provide guidance on the job market, it could pave the way for me to rebuild my career.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for any assistance you can offer. Your kindness could make all the difference in helping me turn this difficult chapter around and move forward with hope and determination.

Will it end this year?

2024 has been THE year!  My wife and I are teachers.  Earlier this year (June) my wife had to have her neck fused.  Then, hurricane season arrived.  Milton decided to take our roof.  Still waiting for it to be repaired.  Then, my back went haywire.  Instead of spending Christmas with family, we spent it at home alone.  I am currently recovering from an L4-S1 fusion.  Needless to say, 2024 keeps on giving.  Now we are preparing to repair our AC unit as it went out.

We had other minor things throughout the year as well that have basically wiped us out.  And, now, being off for the next 8 to 12 weeks, short term just isn’t going to cover it.

I’m asking for help to reach $10,000.  This will take care of not only the AC reapair and my surgery bills,  but will also keep us afloat until I return to teaching my kiddos again.  Anything is greatly appreciated.

My cashapp link is $FloofyFL.

Thank you for your support!

Divorced, Single Mom Can’t Get Job Because I Need Hip Replacement Surgery on Both Hips

Hi,

I am newly divorced after 17 years of marriage.  I have been a homeschooling, stay at home mom during that entire time and now.  My ex-husband constantly cheated on me.  In 2015, my ex-husband and I got into a fight about another woman he was cheating on me with.  During that fight, he threw me across the room, and I landed on my left hip.  When I got up from that fall, I noticed that my left leg was shorter than the right.  After some time had passed, my psoas muscles suddenly tightened with bone on bone arthritis.  My hips are now locked, and I can’t open my legs.  I have gone to numerous chiropractors, orthopedics, massage/physical therapists, acupuncturists, and none could help me.  A few of them have told me that I need hip replacement surgery.  I didn’t have the money nor did my ex-husband’s insurance cover it, so I tried other ways to help myself, but nothing worked.  Now that I am divorced and a single mother of 2 children, these mobility limitations make it very difficult to perform my daily tasks.  I also have not been able to get a job because I’ve been out of work for so long and because of these mobile limitations, where I am having a hard time paying bills.  I don’t have medical insurance, nor I can’t afford it.

I am reaching out for donations with the prayer that I will receive the money that I need for a total hip replacement surgery for both of my hips, and to help me catch up on delinquent bills.  I am requesting $100,000.  This request is for $40K per hip, current delinquent medical and utility bills, because I no longer have my ex-husband’s income to pay them.  The judge in the divorce did not award me enough money to support myself and my children, and I don’t have the money to appeal the judge’s decision, so I am really in a financial bind.  I really need this hip replacement surgery so I can walk and stand upright again and get a job to support my children and myself because I have no help.  If you help me, I will be eternally grateful.

I have attached a video from almost 5 years ago when I went to a chiropractor in Los Angeles to see if he could help me, but unfortunately, he could not help me either.  Your donation will be greatly treasured.

Help These Puppies: They Deserve a Chance!

A heartbreaking situation is unfolding for the littermates of my adopted pup. These 11 innocent puppies are suffering from eye infections and have not received the essential deworming or vaccinations they need to survive and thrive.

I’m stepping up to help give them the care they desperately need, but I can’t do it alone. My goal is to raise $1,000 or more to cover vet visits, vaccinations, and deworming for all 11 puppies. Once they’re healthy, I plan to house them until I can find them loving, furever homes.

This is not my personal litter—just the siblings of the puppy I adopted. But I believe every one of them deserves a chance at a better life. This would be the BEST Christmas gift!

Every dollar counts! Please consider donating and sharing to help give these sweet pups a brighter future. ❤️
