Hi I am a 25 year old father of 4. I have 3 daughters and 1 son. My oldest daughter is 8 my son is 7 and my 2 youngest daughters are 4 and 2. I’m sorry for asking I ha e never do e anything g like this or been so down and with financial issues. I have worked concrete since I was 16 years old till june 17th of 2023. I was Involved in a serious car accident with me being the passenger of one of the vehicles. Me and a co-worker where heading home from work when we where in a head to head on collision with a 2500 dodge truck. I broke my ankle in 3 spots my knee and 4 ribs 3 on one side and fractured one on the other. I was given a small settlement and with my funds I have saved up from work I have been able to pay rent and all utilities and all my kids necessities. But now that I am still out of work till my injuries are healed I have nothing g left to pay bills after this month. My water boiler went out TBE 21st of November and my house was broken into and robbed Dec 18th 2023 and have stolen my TVs my presents an other material things as well. My wife was also in a car accident in October as well after taking the kids to school. She was not hurt or Injured bad or to serious as well but totalling out only transportation we have a 07 dodge Durango. Since then we have been taking the public bus to take the kids to school. I ha s beenthe o my one supporting me and the family alone since our sec child to make it easier on us with having no help from family or any type of welfare benefits for my wife to be a stay at home.mom and me working to support us. But after everything these last 3 months funds have been really tight and hard for us and now with our Christmas being ruined due to our house being robbed We are really on need of assistance. Hello and thank you for reading ALL of these hardship requests. I was reading many of them myself, and it became quite sad and overwhelming. So many requests, so many hardships, and so very telling about the state of our country.  The middle class is being systematically squeezed out and the gap between comfort and suffering is wider than ever. But I digress.

As I said, this is my 2nd request here. I don’t know if the 1st one was even published due to the huge volume of requests, and I couldn’t afford to pay for the front of the line. In other words, it was a bust. But at the same time, it was a great opportunity for me to write most of it out. It was long, messy and miserable. Basically, it was yet another pity party I threw for myself. Boring. And even though all my bullet points were shocking and interesting in a train wreck sort of way, I’ve decided my story will be best told in my book! Not tear stained and weepy as told by the victim, but in the witty, gritty and disturbing manner that Quentin Tarantino will definitely want as his next project! So yes…I’m healing. And I discovered something very interesting. Something I wish I had figured out in my 20’s versus my 50’s! In the midst of my misery that I just could not pull myself out of, I was actually creating my next crappy day, my next agonizing week, and manifesting 4 whole calendars of a horrendous period in my life!

In order to save my own life, I’m making some positive changes. Being grateful for what I have instead of focusing on what I’ve lost.  Plodding forward and putting myself in a better place. And I’m working on my relationship with Jesus Christ which brings me enormous comfort.  Don’t get me wrong. I struggle hard. It’s not all rainbows and unicorn farts, but I’m smiling again and that is huge!

So let me now get straight to the point. I need $2,000 and I need it quickly.  I need to save my 2 storage units and I need my rent (which is actually affordable now) for January 1. I’ve been job hunting, but I am determined to find a good fit and something that makes me happy. I promise you; I cannot afford any more stress or discontent! So yes…. I need to save my possessions so I can go through it all and have a massive sale. I’ve realized that “stuff” weighs me down.  But there’s also things I couldn’t bear to part with.  And rent is pretty self-explanatory. I also need a car, and dental work, and a bunch of other stuff I detailed in my 1st request. But the good news is I now live where I have access to public transportation! And I’m only missing a few back teeth, so I can still smile and eat (for the most part)! I’m blessed that I can recognize that I can overcome these setbacks. I still have my health and my sense of humor is slowly returning. So I’m quite positive that the amount I’m requesting will help immensely in getting back on my feet. A friend of mine said to ask for more so I could concentrate on the book. But I’m only asking for what I need. God will take care of the rest.

Hello. I and my wife of 2 years, 6 months have been in our home almost 3 years now. We now have a blended family. I have 4 grown children and she has 5. It hasn’t been easy, but we work together to take care of the things that we need to do. I myself was married before for 37 years to my childhood sweetheart. Unfortunately she became very ill and passed away. My present wife’s husband had left them over 20 years ago. We’ve worked together to make our house a home inside and out. We’ve mulched,  added a few solar lights on the ground and I’ve tried to keep up with the care of the yard. I’ve been retired since 2011 due to a back injury. I can’t stand real long or sit long. I worked for 27 years for my county and was a committed employee. My wife was injured on her job and she has been jumping through hoops ever since. She is stressed most of the time because she has to go through the same long process that I did. Workers Compensation. The only real income that we have comes from my Pension and  my BWC. My wife only gets a couple hundred dollars from her husbands ssi. I’ve stood on my own 2 feet for most of my life without much help. Now I’m 60 years old and haven’t had an opportunity to do any of the things that I would like to do. Travel, take my wife to see some beautiful places,sunrises and sunsets. See what it feels like to walk barefoot in the sand, catch a big fish or just relax by a fire. We have some much needed repairs and also some projects that we would like to complete. We don’t have the necessary funds that it will take to accomplish all of this. We bought our home when the interest was only 3.8%. Now it’s between 6 and 7%. We’re the second owners. It was built in 1961. Our wiring needs upgraded,we need  some big trees cut down(unbelievably expensive). The original windows are casement windows. The wood around them is very old and they need to be replaced. These are not insulated windows. We would also like to update the bathrooms.
