My name is Jaime, I am a military vet with the Navy from VFA87 from Oceana (discharged Dec 31, 2003).

I am humbly asking for assistance with income because my Fiancée was having pains on his side & they had gotten so bad His boss sent him home.  I took him to the ER 06/24/24 to find He had a kidney stone.  Referral for Urologist. (No problem right) Well Urology saw him, the Kidney stone was stuck, and Surgery was scheduled for the following morning 07/03/24.  The urologist called me once the surgery was complete to be informed the surgery was not successful and he had a 100% kidney blockage.  The Urologist placed a stent from his kidney into his bladder which allowed his bladder to drain.  He was placed on FMLA unpaid & leave of absence.  We finally got the information to HR to get his FMLA put into play.  The Urologist placed him on a leave of absence till Aug 5, 2024 with his follow-up surgery scheduled on July 29, 2024.  Leading up to the follow-up surgery with his last day of work being June 20, 2024 (His work schedule is a Monday through Thursday work week) we were moving into 4 solid weeks of no pay and maintenance bills for the home (power, food, gas for the propane tank for hot water, vehicle insurance, phone bill, internet ) were and are behind, then we add in the now current over $5000 in medical bills from ER visits and the 2 surgeries ).  The second surgery known as the follow-up surgery was on July 29, 2024 and was successful.  The urologist got the scope to the stone, removed it, and sent those fragments off to the lab for test so we can learn how to prevent this in the future.  A temporary stent was put in place, with instructions for removal of the stent on Thursday, Aug 1^st, 2024.   We were informed he should get better but will still be sore.  Jon was now feeling more pain on each side, and in his back, but was able to use the bathroom and empty his bladder.  For him was still a relief due to having to urinate in a bottle since 06/24/24.  We were told to wait it out, the bladder can spasm and that could be why he is still feeling pain after the removal of the kidney stone.  We waited, Thursday rolled around, and it was time to remove the temporary stent.  He was unsuccessful at the first few attempts to remove the stent at home under the advisement of his Urologist.  We requested assistance from the office making him an appointment.   Friday, Aug 2^nd at 4:30 am Eastern time in the morning I heard a really loud yell and him yelling my name, which I found him in the bathroom in our home shaking.  He had finally been successful in pulling the temporary stent out as he was advised from his Urologist.   The Urologist office said he should be feeling better in few days, if by Sunday 08/04/2024 he doesn’t then he needs to go to ER.   He was having continuous pain, now both sides were hurting, feeling pain in the upper part of the thigh, and He is feeling completely lost.  I attempted to get him to see Urgent care on Monday 08/05/24 but Urgent care refused to see him due to not having the equipment to provide CT scan due to his previous surgeries.  The Urgent Care recommendations were to call his Urologist first thing in the morning or ER.  Tuesday Morning came around and we reached out to the Urologist’s office, which there were no available appointments. We were instructed if he was having that many complications to return to the ER.  So back to the ER on 08/06/24.  CT scan completed – no more kidney stones however he was diagnosed with a complication that can happen to up to 25% of patients who have this procedure done called Ureter Colic.  He has been put back on leave of absence with a new return date of 08/19/2024.  I do work remotely and have a “hobby” where I make wood décor and tumblers for extra money, but it is not enough to begin to cover the expenses and loss of income which will be at 7 weeks before he is currently scheduled to return to work then having to wait 2 weeks for a paycheck because of pay period cycles.  We are begging and asking for any assistance. We have been married 15 years and together for 19 years. I’m certain all marriages have their ups and downs. Recently, ( earlier this year) I found out my husband was cheating on me with a female coworker. I didn’t know how much cheating, perhaps flirting, lunch dates etc..  I never thought our marriage was horrible and I’ve always thought marriage was worth fighting for. We also have 3 children and I didn’t want to break up a home and have the kids be “ suitcase “ kids. I was raised in church and that divorce is not a good thing. Also divorce is exhausting and to me, can be embarrassing or that it’s a sign of failure. I am definitely not putting anyone down who has divorced. Sometimes it is a necessity especially if abuse. There is no abuse in our situation. Instead of the hard work and the toll divorce takes on your life…. I wanted to put in the hard work to save our marriage. My husband was not receptive at first. Unfortunately, there was some fighting in front of the kids. I prayed a lot for my husband and our marriage. I prayed for months. He slowly came around and then to prove he was serious… he got the girl fired from his work! Even though she is a home wrecker or my husband had fed her lies about the status of our relationship… I didn’t necessarily need her to get fired but of course it always bothered me he would go to work with her there.( as we tried to work on our marriage ).He said it was best for him to do to have us move forward. We do go to counseling now and we are doing much better, woo hoo! I’m pretty certain there was sexual cheating but we are working and healing on that through counseling.

We are still recovering from financial strains that happened when we were going through the rough patches of our marriage. Sad to say my husband was giving her money, when it could of been spent on our family and bills. He also spent money on expensive hobbies to fill the void when he wasn’t happy in our marriage. We are trying to play catch up on many bills. My husband even got a second job but we cannot make ends meet. We are requesting our electric bill be paid before it gets cut off next week. Hello. I am the Mother of two beautiful and sweet boys. I work around 50 hours a week on top of raising them. My oldest boy, aged 6, who is so beautiful and lovely, has level 3 autism. That means that he is non-verbal and has significant special needs. He still wears pull ups because he is not toileted, needs help eating, and cannot function in many environments that other children can. This is Victoria Andrade. I’m originally from Ecuador. I have been living in the USA since 2022. I work as a nanny of 2 boys. However, the money I earn is not enough since I have to provide for my parents who live in Ecuador and are very sick. My mom (her name is Teresa) suffered a fall back in 2023. She had a femur replacement. This was around May. She is walking with walker assistant. Also, my dad (his name is Armando) suffered a cerebrovascular accident in October 2023. The 2 incidents happened so fast. I was able to visit them in November.2023 because one of my daughters paid for the air ticket; otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to go. Also, my 2 daughters took care of the 2 boys during the week I was absent, so I can get paid for the week I was away. I have been paying for nurses and therapists to help my parents to make their lives a little bit easier since they are very old and no one can take care of them since the rest of my family works.

Since I don’t earn that much as a nanny (I only get $500 per week and sometimes less due to some holidays and when the kids are on vacation), I have had to get some loans with high interests to be able to cover the expenses for my parents. Thank God I don’t have to pay for anything here in the US since I live with one of my daughters and even with this big help, I can’t afford to make the payments for the loans I have requested to help my parents.

I’d like to start by saying thank you for taking the time to read this. I have never done anything like this before and just found out this sort of thing existed. I’m a single mother with 2 children ages 3 and 17 years old. i have no family but my children. my father passed away when i was 2 and my mother and sister died in 2009, both sets of my grandparents are deceased and i lost my baby bother in 2023 at the age of 29. So I’ve never had a village to help me with my children or emergency situations.

that being said the reason im writing this is because this is my last hope . I have reached out to non profits , every charity i could find and every church near me. About 8 months ago i had a pipe bust that ran under the laundry room and master bath and bedroom going to the hot water heater. i took me awhile to get someone out to my house to cut the water off and get it fixed. well after that it busted 2 more times . it soaked the bellybag under the house and mold started growing in the bedroom and batheroom faster that i could clean it. so i shut the room off and hung a big blanket up trying to make sure the room was sealed from the rest of the house. i then started searching for help and here i am 8 months later and still have not found help.

My daughter has chronic eczema and is allergic to grass, trees, dust, cats and dogs. My son has asthma and I have alot of health issues also. I have tried looking for hotel vouchers and nobody has them. I was even speaking to people that buy houses for cash so I could buy an RV but I  own my home and land and would end up starting all over again… we have no family to stay with and no where to go. so today Im asking for help to purchase an rv I can put on my property and to get out of this house that is making us sick. Hello, my name is Brendan. I am a recently honorably discharged Combat Medic Specialist from the US Army. My wife and I made the expensive and painstaking move from Austin, TX to Louisville, KY in order to pursue educational goals. While we were expecting it to be somewhat challenging, what we found out is that a lot more can go wrong in a short period of time than people thing. 2 of our 3 cats, in the last month, have been taken for emergency vet visits, totaling to over $3500 in labs, tests, and treatments.
