I wish to buy a property in the valley so that i can have more space for helping animals – There are some pieces of land but are over $100,000.00.  I currently have more than 10 dogs and one cat. I let so many go without my care and help due to not having enough room at my house which has a small normal lot. I care about the neighbors not having so much noise since these homes are only 10′ separate from each other….There are so many pets out without a loving home. Now that is cold is even harder to see them alone in the streets. I truly am grateful for all the rescuers out there. Let’s keep helping whenever we can and hopefully more people can do the same. When i get a big enough property, many more will be rescued and live happy for the rest of their lives. I’m doing good with feeding them and keeping up with vet visits but, would like to ask for donations to do something bigger and greater for them and others that are waiting for their much better home and land to play. I recently got a Parvo (in between rounds of shots) for my puppy. I am devastated. I have been extending all and any financial means to keep him in care for this awful virus he has no chance to survive if I have to take him home early. I visit him everyday and it breaks my heart to see him so sick and down. Hello, I am here to introduce Mr. Rocky, who is currently a three-year-old French Bulldog; we have been fighting this ear infection for quite some time. I have taken him to multiple vets to get different opinions on his ear, and they all told me other things. He has been to vets in Dallas, TX, and Los Angles, California, where we currently live. Remind you; that every vet visit costs me a minimum of 300 dollars. The vet prescribed him an allergy medicine called Apoquel; sure, some of you may be familiar with that. Also, a prescription is called Simplicef, which is an antibiotic medication indicated for dogs with skin infections or any bacterial infection. I added myself to a few Facebook groups to get pointers on this. I have tried Zymox Ear Cleaner- That Didn’t Work; Yeast Release Max supplements; someone told me that would help break down the Yeast Bateria- That Didn’t Work. Allergy Aid for dogs 120 Chewable tablets, Digestion- Prebiotic, Probiotics, Enzymes to help his digestion system, Pet Armor Antihistamine Diphenhydramine HCI to help for allergies a dog Benadryl, Mometamax Otic ear solution prescribed by the vet-That Didn’t Work, NaturVet Aloe & Baby Powder Scent Dog & Cat Ear Wash-That Didn’t Work, Dog Ear Powder to dry up the bacteria and again still NO LUCK. I had an insurance policy with Healthy Paws but had to cancel it in December last year due to financial hardship. So I started using my Care Credit Card, and they decided to drop my credit limit from $13K to an outstanding credit limit of $4k. Never thought that would ever happen. He is currently up to date on all of his shots.

I must say this has to be one of the hardest things to do, which is having to ask you guys for help. I have donated to a lot of different platforms on Gofundme for years now anonymously, but I never thought I would be the one making a profile. But Gofundme has been a fantastic software to help people in need. I asked for $7,500 because his first surgery cost me $4,800, not including med refills. They had to take out his whole ear canal; now, it has traveled to the other ear. I spoke to a vet out in Dallas, and she told me she might can do a TECA EAR procedure. That is still giving me a cost anywhere from $3800-5500. I have not had any sleep meanwhile woke up yesterday where Rocky was pouring blood from the side of his face. So I have been up all night waiting to rush him over to the Vet; I may have to cancel my flight today again, which I cannot AFFORD to do either. Hopefully, I can upload pictures of him currently.

The bond between a woman and her dog is a sacred one, often transcending the boundaries of mere companionship to become a relationship of mutual dependence and unconditional love. This story is a heartfelt plea from a medically retired Marine Corps veteran, who is seeking financial assistance for her dog’s medical operation and subsequent treatment.

I (LCpl Riggins) was medically retired in 2017 due to a severe back injury, have been living on a fixed income through the VA since that period of my lifetime. I live in California where the cost of living is a little on the pricey side. Unfortunately, this income is not sufficient to cover the cost of the surgery my dog that Major desperately needs. Right now she is being made to be as comfortable as possible with the use of prescribed pain medication. Despite attempts to secure Care Credit, I was denied after being pre-qualified, leaving me at a loss for what to do next. I also looked into pet insurers only to find out that they wouldn’t cover and pre-existing conditions. I’m not sure on what else, if anything, can be done to help in this situation.

Major, my young bully pit/boxer mix, is more than just a pet to me. As a childless women, Major is my family, my best friend, and my fur baby to say the least. Major’s gentle soul has won the hearts of everyone she meets. My neighbors and even my landlord love her. However, two years ago, Major was involved in a hit-and-run accident that injured her back right leg. The veterinarian explained to me that the trauma from the accident had caused a hernia to form, which has since grown in size, making it difficult for Major to breathe properly. From what was explained was that her organs are being pushed into her chest area and her lungs are affected by that. After the hernia is removed, they have to reset her organs back in their correct places. This whole process is performed by a specialist and not the veterinarian who took her x-rays.

Currently, Major is on pain medication until the I can arrange for her surgery. The hernia is so large that it obscures her heart in x-ray images. I wish I could post them here, so the severity of the situation can be seen. Despite her condition, Major, who is just a young 3 years old girl, is full of life and is the perfect companion. The estimated cost of the surgery is around $6k, but at the moment, I only have $500  to contribute to the process. I’m am sincerely asking for any assistance with this situation. I truly love my fur baby and wish to see her live a long and healthy life.

I am earnestly appealing for any form of assistance to help Major get the treatment she needs. This situation has taken a significant emotional toll on me, and i am  hopeful that someone out there can assist me. The bond between the Major and I is a testament to the profound relationships that can exist between humans and animals, and it is a plea for compassion and assistance in a time of need. My name is Elena. I am a mom to 16 year old cat Coco and 7 year old pomeranian Penelope. Penelope has severe laxating patella case ( dislocation of the knee) and needs surgery ASAP.
