Divorced, Single Mom Can’t Get Job Because I Need Hip Replacement Surgery on Both Hips

Hi,

I am newly divorced after 17 years of marriage.  I have been a homeschooling, stay at home mom during that entire time and now.  My ex-husband constantly cheated on me.  In 2015, my ex-husband and I got into a fight about another woman he was cheating on me with.  During that fight, he threw me across the room, and I landed on my left hip.  When I got up from that fall, I noticed that my left leg was shorter than the right.  After some time had passed, my psoas muscles suddenly tightened with bone on bone arthritis.  My hips are now locked, and I can’t open my legs.  I have gone to numerous chiropractors, orthopedics, massage/physical therapists, acupuncturists, and none could help me.  A few of them have told me that I need hip replacement surgery.  I didn’t have the money nor did my ex-husband’s insurance cover it, so I tried other ways to help myself, but nothing worked.  Now that I am divorced and a single mother of 2 children, these mobility limitations make it very difficult to perform my daily tasks.  I also have not been able to get a job because I’ve been out of work for so long and because of these mobile limitations, where I am having a hard time paying bills.  I don’t have medical insurance, nor I can’t afford it.

I am reaching out for donations with the prayer that I will receive the money that I need for a total hip replacement surgery for both of my hips, and to help me catch up on delinquent bills.  I am requesting $100,000.  This request is for $40K per hip, current delinquent medical and utility bills, because I no longer have my ex-husband’s income to pay them.  The judge in the divorce did not award me enough money to support myself and my children, and I don’t have the money to appeal the judge’s decision, so I am really in a financial bind.  I really need this hip replacement surgery so I can walk and stand upright again and get a job to support my children and myself because I have no help.  If you help me, I will be eternally grateful.

I spent the last decade as an independent insurance agent, trying to be a bright spot in an industry that isn’t known for its warmth and compassion. As people are forced to have insurance for vehicles and homes I thought I could at least be a blessing by finding the best options and providing the best service possible. Emergency Assistance for Rent due to Illness

Last year, I lost my remote job in October of 2023 and was without work for 8 months. Then, I started another job in June, but during the time I was not working I fell behind in bills which included my rent. I cannot pickup a part time because of a Blood disorder illness which is called PCOS. This illness causes me to lose alot of blood which causes me to be anemic and very tired. In the past, I have passed out and had to get a Blood infusion and Iron infusion because of this. Now, I am due for another Iron infusion in January and a possible Hysterectomy (Serious Surgery).

 

I am reaching out because I am pass due on my rent and the Property Manager is threatening to evict me. I really need help so that I will not lose my home and also get back on my feet.

Hello, I’m reaching out today as my 18yr old daughter and I are facing an unexpected challenge. Last Friday night, my daughter was rear-ended while driving our only vehicle, and unfortunately, the other driver had no insurance. Now, we’re left with a $1,000 deductible that we simply can’t afford at the moment.

 

We both rely on this car to get around — I travel frequently for work, and my daughter works nights. Without it, we’re forced to rely on costly Uber rides, and  unrealiable friends. I normally would do food deliveries or secret shopping to suppelment the income but with no car its not happening.  I don’t have paid time off on top of  limited hours this time of yr so we’re doing our best to make ends meet, and just need help to cover this repair cost or pointed in the right direction. My insurance does cover rental but only $30 a day and my daughter is not allowed to drive rental bc of her age, but just now able to access that after 7days of no car, and paying 7 day wrecker holding  fee before towing to body shop, waiting to hear on other drivers insurance status just took forever and now the process can start on my car but I wont have the money once finished.

 

I’m not one to ask for assistance lightly, and do my best to  always have alittle emergancy fund, however that was used helping son and family out of their emrrgancy 6 months ago and here i am now needing the help.  So any contribution, no matter how small, would be a tremendous help in getting us back on the road and out of this bind, and avoiding bigger problems like lossing our jobs or falling behind on bills. Suddenly put out of work

My name is Jerry and I’m a 2 time cancer survivor (esophageal cancer) After being diagnosed with cancer I went thru 2 rounds of chemo and 29 radiation treatments to my lower face and throat… Neither of these were successful and I required surgery to remove my vocal chords, voice box, thyroid…. Basically everything in my throat so the cancer couldn’t come back later…. They gave me a hole in my throat to breathe with and inserted a tube so I could continue to eat normally…. The surgery worked but early in recovery it was discovered the incision wasn’t closing (they literally cut my throat from ear to ear), another surgery was required and things didn’t go so well… I was in a coma for almost a month and spent another two months in recovery… I needed a month of rehab to learn to walk again as I suffered a stroke while in the coma… I eventually made as full a recovery as one can from all this and a few months later returned to work

Recently I suffered another undiagnosed stroke and am experiencing partial paralysis on my left side (im left handed) and was put out of work by my physician… This was totally unexpected and I have no savings to speak of…. Im in serious danger of losing my home and vehicle while I go thru the process of filing for Disabilty again…. Anything will help and is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you in advance!!

Taking action to Succeed in Life

Hello My name is Kalisha Swindell. I just want to say firstly thank you for taking the time to help people along their journeys of hardship . Im sure it’s a beautiful feeling to positively impact someone’s life and knowing that a person has a second chance or help because of you . I am not here to beg but to ask you to help me so I in turn can help myself and my family .I just had a baby boy his name is Matteo .I’m 28 years old and this is my first and only child after believing I was infertile for years and I must say it’s a surprise and adjustment. He came out prematurely and this whole process has been kind of  feeling like the twilight zone for me. Around 6 months of pregnancy I had complications leaving me unable to work and packing that on with staying at the hospital an additional month while baby was in nicu and bringing a premature baby out . I lost my house the landlord did not empathize with my situation at all which I understand it’s his property And my personal problems don’t concern him other then me paying rent. With being an Adult and in life we all have obligations and responsibilities no matter what is going on and I understand that. Im embarrassed and upset with myself  because Honestly me and my baby are going from house to house I don’t even have enough to get a hotel so me and my baby can have some type of space or privacy and peace . The shelters are all full . It’s cold outside and I’m getting worried about me and the baby current situation not everyone can handle a baby crying or just having babies around especially if it’s not there’s or are not mentally prepared to adjust lifestyle and routines that comes with having baby’s around. The bottom line is I know my son needs a safe clean environment to develop properly . Singel Mother needs to save home from foreclosure a christmas mirical

Hi, my name is Mary, and I need assistance to save my home from foreclosure. I have been trying to save my home for so long, but it has been impossible. I have spent so much money on lawyers(plural), and no one has been able to assist me. I spent the past 5 years paying my mortgage through bankruptcy. After 5 years, we offered the bank a short pay, and they accepted, but COVID-19 hit, and everything was at a standstill. The loan refinance process was moving so slowly, and finally, when the approval came through, the bank said no. They said it took too long.   My lawyers at the time didn’t fight and didn’t even want to go in front of the judge to plead our case. All these years, all I have heard from them is no. Hi my name is Andi and I bought my homestead a year and a half ago. I never in a million years thought I would be able to make this life happen for myself it’s a dream come true. I was able to rescue 2 beautiful horses-in my cover photo from Kill pens- and rehabilitated them to health. I have also rescued 2 donkeys as well. I have 5 goats and about 40 chickens. I’ve been so blessed to be here in this beautiful part of Texas. However, in the past six months my finances have taken a horrible turn. Helping a friend in need

I have a good friend who is a mom of three teens. She is currently struggling to pay her bills due to going through a nasty divorce and custody battle with her narcissistic ex. He is doing everything he can to cost her as much money as possible until she will finally give up and give him everything he wants because she has nothing left. Add to that, her father passed away just three months ago in another state, and she is having to deal with handling his estate that is deeply in debt and requires her to travel back and forth between her current state and where her father lived once to twice a month.

I myself am recently retired and living on a limited income. I want to help her so much but am just so limited in the help I can provide her. She doesn’t have a lot of support, though she has tried reaching out for help from various sources and been ignored or denied. She absolutely hates having to ask anyone for any help (which is part of why I am asking for this instead of her). I gave her what limited amount I could afford just so she could provide something to her kids for the holidays. My heart breaks knowing all her struggles, especially financial, that I can’t help her out.

Christmas Miracle

Hello!

I’m not really sure how to go about this, so I may be all over the place. I’ll try to keep it straight to the point.

The amount I’m asking for is $600,000. Now I know that’s a lot but it’s for several reasons. I had to have a used engine put in my car and that really set me back pretty bad. The stroke didn’t help either.

The first reason is to buy the home from one of my clients. The money for the home will go to his church. He’s now in a nursing home, but it states in his will that the church gets the house when he dies. We of course don’t know when that will happen, so his POA talked to the church, and they don’t want the house and would just sell it for the money. So, his POA talked to me and gave me an amount of $95,000.

Now, I would be buying it “as is”. The house was my client’s parents’ house. So, it needs updating throughout the whole house. I’m not sure how much that’s going to cost, but I’m guessing around $60,000.

The house isn’t fancy. Just a small 3-bedroom house.  There’s a bedroom on the main floor which is perfect for me. I had a stroke Nov. 11th, 2023. I can’t sleep flat, so I’ve been sleeping on the couch with a wedge. I’m also terrified now to sleep upstairs. So, having a bedroom on the main floor would help me out a lot.

For the rest, I’m just going to put the amount and a brief reason, or this could turn into a novel.

 

$80,000 – To my ex-brother-in-law Steve. For quite a number of years he’s been helping me out and I have never been able to pay any of it back. He even took out a $5,000 loan to help pay for the engine of my car.

$6,000 – adjustable bed for the reason stated above.

$7,000 – Credit card I had to max out and a small loan for the engine.

$9,000 – To buy my youngest daughter’s car from her dad. He’s a long story in                        itself. Basically, he threw a hissy fit about an issue with our daughter                        and came over and trailered her car, turned off her phone and threw                          out all of her stuff in her bedroom. Just another reason why he’s an ex.

$45,000 – To finish paying off my school loans.

$9,500 – Finish paying off my car loan.

$5,000 – Misc bills, tires for both cars and money I owe to several people.

$20,000 – To go towards my business. I don’t have the means to really advertise.                      Right now, it’s by word of mouth. I would also like to get stock in to                          help my clients right away. I’m a manicurist and massage therapist. I                        specialize in foot care. Especially people with problem toenails.  I also                      need to update my footbath. It’s chipping and peeling away. It has                              that fake wood look. I’d like to get the fiberglass one. Much easier to                          clean and sanitize.

I would like to take my 3 kids to Disney. We all need a good vacation. I have no idea how much that would cost.

The rest will get put into a savings or some CDs in case something would come up with the house, cars or business. I don’t know how to do the investing thing so I feel this would be the best for me.

I’m 51 years old. I’ll be 52 in Jan. I really could use a fresh start. This would take a lot of stress off of me, so I don’t have another stroke or have a heart attack. I just need someone to believe in me. I know I would have a much better life (mental and health wise) with a clean slate. I don’t want to keep worrying where I’m going to get money to put gas in the car or food when there’s nothing left on the food card.

I was raised by my grandma (my mom’s mom). My mom left when I was 3 years old. Haven’t seen her since and I have no idea who my dad is. Growing up wasn’t easy. Got teased a lot because of not having parents. My grandma had me tell people that they died in a car accident. My closest friends know the truth and so do my kids. I have 4 but 3 living. My oldest is 31 (son), 2nd passed at birth. He would have been 20 this year. Then I have 2 daughters, 19 and 17. I also have 2 dogs and a cat.

Sorry, went off track a little my kids and animals.

I also grew up in low-income apartments. (And I’m back in the place for the 3rd time in my life.) My grandma got food stamps, badger care and AFDC. To this day I’m still on state aid. I hate it and want to get off of it for good. It’s very embarrassing. The way things are, I just can’t get off of it. I’ve even worked 2 jobs to make ends meet and still can’t get enough income coming in. Since the stroke, I only have my business to bring in some income and I just started doing it again back in April. So, I’m really hurting for some help.

Being able to start over and start 2025 with a fresh start would really mean a lot. I asked God for a miracle. 1 min later I got a text about the house. I really believe this is my miracle! The text was the start of it. The rest is up to me to ask for help. So here I am asking for help.

I would really like the money to be delivered to me personally. Get a long tight hug and a kiss on the forehead and telling me everything is going to be ok. But I know that can’t happen. So much has happened in my life, that hug and kiss on the forehead would mean a lot to me and also needed.
