YOUNG HOME OWNER AND FATHER AT RISK OF LOSING EVERYTHING

I am a 31-year-old homeowner and a proud parent of five wonderful kids. Since birth, I have lived with Erb’s palsy in my right arm, which is a mild form of cerebral palsy. Unfortunately, I’m still in the process of getting approved for disability benefits, leaving me in a challenging situation.

I’ve owned my charming yet aging home for nearly seven years, and over that time, I’ve poured countless hours and resources into renovating it. The house, built in 1900, has its share of character and history, but the larger issues are starting to surface.

Currently, I receive a modest $500 monthly annuity, which will end in September 2025. This financial support is insufficient, resulting in a monthly deficit of $2,000. The burden of housing taxes, essential bills, and the cost of feeding my family has become increasingly overwhelming. I haven’t been able to pay my property taxes or water bill for over a year, as I struggle to keep the lights on, maintain heating during the cold months, and ensure my kids have what they need. On top of that, I try to provide a stable environment with Wi-Fi and a home phone for emergencies and entertainment.

The weight of these responsibilities is heavy, and the thought of giving up my home, where I’ve invested so much emotionally and financially, is heart-wrenching. I fear starting over in another place that could present the same or even worse problems.

Although I recently installed a brand-new furnace, my house feels like it’s trapped in an icebox. The windows are still the original ones from when the house was built, leaving us vulnerable to the biting winter cold. Additionally, due to unheated add-ons made by previous owners, my gas bill skyrockets as I crank the heat and rely on space heaters to keep us warm, which also leads to elevated electric bills.

I find myself at a crossroads, feeling desperate and in need of help to navigate this overwhelming situation. This situation has become incredibly overwhelming, but I am determined not to give up and sell my home after pouring so much effort and emotion into it. I fear starting over could lead to the same challenges. Though I have a new furnace, my house remains freezing because I lack the funds to upgrade the original windows, and due to unheated add-ons from previous owners, the gas bill is exorbitant. I find myself relying on space heaters, which only adds to the high electric bill. I urgently need assistance to turn this situation around.

Holiday Miracle

Hey everyone, with pain in my heart and embarrassment overall, I am asking you all for desperate help. I chose to keep my identity anonymous, to protect my children. Of course, if you reach out, I can provide you with docket number and Landlord information if you are more comfortable forwarding funds directly to them. I lost my husband and job last year and have been in arrears every month. I finally found a job and am making good money where I can afford my rent moving forward however, I have rent in arrears, and they were going to lock me out January 1st if I don’t pay 3 months of rent totaling $9297. I am willing to pay you back, I am not able to get a loan because I literally have all my cards in arrears. I do not qualify for any government help because they look at what you make on paper and because I just started working ” I make too much on paper” If someone could please help me. I can pay you back. If not, I have to leave from my home January 2nd with my 4 small children and our pets. Asking for a Christmas / New Years miracle. I can pay you back a certain amount as well with interest every two weeks. I just need help to buy myself some time, as I get back to work. I hope I will touch one of your hearts this holiday.

Please help, I am unable to work for health reasons.

I recently developed a health condition that makes me unable to work. I will be able to get by to a certain point with insurance. However, it will not be enough to cover all my bills. I don’t want to be put into a spot where I have to choose between a roof over my head and/or food and medications. Please I need help! Any amount of money will do. If I could get enough to pay of my debt completely (approximately $30,000) then I will be able to afford everything I need on the income alone from insurance. If I get to a point where I can pay it forward, I will do so. Thank you!

Threat of Eviction

I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, facing a significant challenge in my life. My fiancée is expecting our third child, and I am the sole provider for our growing family. While I am working diligently to support us, the financial strain of this unexpected pregnancy has been immense.

Despite my best efforts, I have fallen behind on my rent payments for the past three months. This situation is causing me tremendous anxiety, as the threat of eviction looms large. Losing our home would not only be devastating for me but also have a profound impact on my fiancée and our children.

I am deeply concerned about the well-being of my family and am actively seeking solutions to this critical situation. I am exploring all possible avenues, including:

 * Intensifying my job search: I am actively seeking higher-paying employment opportunities to increase my income.

 * Budgeting and cost-cutting measures: I am diligently reviewing my expenses and implementing strict budget cuts to minimize unnecessary spending.

 * Seeking assistance from community resources: I am exploring available resources such as local charities, government assistance programs, and housing counseling agencies.

I understand that this is a difficult time for many, and I am incredibly grateful for any support or guidance you may be able to offer. Even a small contribution would make a significant difference in my ability to keep my family housed and ensure a stable future for our child.

Thank you for your time, compassion, and understanding.”

Funds needed for car purchase – mother of two

Hello,

I lost my father in November. Unfortunately, his term life insurance expired at age 80, he was 84 when he passed. My family had to help cover funeral expenses. I’m now in need of a reliable vehicle and need money to help with the purchase. I would like to have about $5000 to pay cash for something or use it as a down payment on a vehicle. Any assistance that you are able to provide would be very helpful. Right now school is out for the holidays but school will reopen Jan 6th and my kids are involved in a number of school and church activities that I need to get them to, so I’m trying to purchase a vehicle asap. Thank you

Help me smile with pride

Last year was an all time stressful time. There was a lot going on which meant my life was on autopilot and filled with multitasking.

I took the day off to pick up my elderly dad who was released from the hospital after breaking his hip and needing back surgery. He needed lots of support so I was taking him to my home to stay with my family for a while. In two minutes of chaos my life changed.

I was helping my dad up the stairs, holding some of his belongings, my phone was ringing which took my attention away for a minute when my dad pulled on me unexpectedly and I fell face first onto the step in front of me.  I fractured bones in my face, my jaw and lost some teeth. My face does not look like me.

I have undergone the emergent procedures while racking up many medical bills but I want to work on improving my smile.

i am looking for financial help to pay off the rest of my medical bills so I can continue to support my family and elderly father. This would give me a lot of relief from stress AND allow me to save money to seek extensive dental work to make my smile look so much nicer.

I am seeking $25,000 to help me towards my goal and truly appreciate any help that can be given.

Injured man trying to work from home.

My name is James. I used to work a regular job but I was in a terrible car accident and now I have 3 metal plates in my right hip and two in my right arm.                        I just get a small check every month and its really hard to live on.

I started selling on Ebay. I look at websites that sell items at a discount. I buy what they sell and list it on Ebay. The problem is that I need to buy better products to sell.

I would also like to start my own website. A website that I could pay someone to design for me. I’m not sure how to do that.

When selling online I believe to be profitable I need at least 10 orders a day. I know that if I had better products that I would sell much more.

I thought about a loan but I get not enough money to pay it back.

I did learn a lot from selling over the years on Ebay.

I will need money for a postage meter and shipping supplies. a fax machine and advertising, especially if I start a website. Thank you.

I am seeking   Fifteen thousand, I believe that it would be a great help.

A Journey of Resilience: Seeking Support for a New Beginning

Life has been a relentless series of trials for me since 2016, but my love for my children and my determination to rebuild my life have kept me moving forward. Today, I am writing to ask for your support as I strive to create a stable home, pursue education, and build a better future for my youngest son and myself.

In 2016, I gave birth to my second son. What should have been a joyful time quickly turned into a battle with postpartum depression. A suicide attempt left me scarred but alive, determined to change. My relationship ended, and I moved in with my mother, bringing my two sons along. Yet, the environment was difficult, and I faced a lack of support that made my struggles with stress and financial instability unbearable.

Despite working two jobs, I was overwhelmed, and the only coping mechanism I knew was the one I fought hard to avoid—substance use. While I wanted to seek help, the logistics of being a single parent made it seem impossible. The tension at home escalated, and I eventually found myself homeless, living out of my car and working as an Uber driver.

COVID-19 brought more challenges, but also a glimmer of hope. My brother helped me secure a brief stay in a hotel, during which I met the man I would later marry. However, that relationship introduced new layers of trauma through domestic abuse. My youngest son was diagnosed with autism during this time, and I fought to provide him with the care and education he needed, even as I grappled with my own instability.

In 2022, my ex-husband’s abuse escalated to a near-fatal incident, leading to his incarceration. I sought refuge in rehabilitation again, hoping to reunite with my children. Tragically, my oldest son had grown distant, coping with his own struggles through substance use and gang involvement. His mental health deteriorated, leading to schizophrenia and multiple suicide attempts. Despite all my efforts, he passed away after his final attempt.

The pain of losing my son has been unbearable. It has also been a profound wake-up call about the devastating consequences of untreated mental health issues and the over-prescription of pharmaceuticals to minors. I am determined to honor his memory by creating a stable life for my youngest son and advocating for change in mental health and substance abuse treatment.

My vision is to go back to school and study psychology, with a focus on alternative and plant-based medicines. I want to spread awareness about the dangers of over-prescription and advocate for holistic approaches to mental health care. To do this, I need a foundation: a stable home, reliable transportation, and the resources to pursue my education.

I am humbly seeking financial support to achieve these goals. Your help would provide the means to secure housing, cover schooling costs, and ensure that my youngest son and I have the stability to heal and thrive. My journey has been marked by unimaginable pain, but it has also taught me resilience and the power of hope.

With your support, I can turn my pain into purpose. I want to be a voice for those who feel unheard, to create a brighter future for my son, and to honor the memory of the son I lost by making a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you for considering my story and my request. Your generosity would mean the world to my family and me.

Sincerely,

Crystal

Divorce/Child Support/Living Expenses/Disability

To whom it may concern,
I am now a single dad, and I have been struggling since January to find steady work. I was fired due to the fact I was going through severe anxiety and depression leading up to and after the divorce that my ex-wife announced on Dec 26th 2023. I am in an apartment in Orlando, and have been barely able to make rent or make enough money to feed myself. When I do have money that isn’t going towards bills, I use it to feed my kids or invest in the business I’m building. I also recently saw a sleep doctor who told me I likely have narcolepsy due to the extreme stress and depression of the divorce, but I have not been able to officially make a sleep study appointment due to the fact I could no longer afford my health insurance, so I have no official diagnosis. However, it is greatly affecting my day-to-day life, and I am having trouble being able to focus on any work that I do have, no matter how hard I work to focus and stay awake during my episodes. I also have been told by the court since the divorce that I need to pay $1135 monthly in child support despite the fact I lost my job in January, which like I said, I don’t have a regular job (even though I’ve been applying like crazy), So I am barely able to make rent or utility payments. If this goes on much longer I will end up homeless, and my kids won’t have a place to go to see their dad on a regular basis, which I see as extremely important, as they have been through so much with their narcissistic mom. Any help would be very appreciated and God Bless!

Severe Financial Hardship

First, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read about my situation. Secondly, this is a very hard ask. I am an independent contractor, and my income is based on clientele. I am an esthetician, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. I am no stranger to working. Unfortunately, my finances/savings have been depleted, and my bank account is in the negative, which is scary and embarrassing. I have an upcoming phone and health insurance monthly premium payment coming due. I also need to replace the grinding brakes on my vehicle. It is not a fancy vehicle. She is quite old, but it got me where I needed to be. I have medical co-payments due at the time of service for a couple of doctor appointments. Each co-payment is $20. It seems to be a small amount, but it is huge when you don’t have it. It seems as if everything happened at once, leaving me blindsided. I am in need of $471.38. I thank you again for your time and consideration. Be well

Seeking Support After Job Loss and Scam Devastation-Anything will help

I never imagined I would find myself in this position, but I am reaching out for help after experiencing a series of devastating events that have left me struggling to make ends meet.

Right before the holidays, my position was unexpectedly eliminated, leaving me without an income and facing the harsh reality of supporting myself with close to nothing. The timing could not have been worse, as it has left me scrambling to cover essential expenses like rent, car payments, and food.

In my desperation to secure a new role, I fell victim to a sophisticated “pig butchering” scam. It began with what appeared to be a promising opportunity on LinkedIn. Trusting the process, I engaged with what I thought was a legitimate job lead. Tragically, this turned out to be an elaborate scheme that robbed me of nearly all my savings. The financial and emotional toll of this betrayal has been overwhelming.

I am actively searching for new opportunities in leadership roles such as Vice President, Senior Vice President of Operations, or Chief Operating Officer, where I can bring my extensive experience in transformational leadership, operations management, and business growth to make a meaningful impact. However, as anyone who has faced an unexpected job loss knows, the process of finding the right position takes time—a resource I am quickly running out of.

I am humbly asking for your help to bridge this gap. Whether it’s assistance with basic necessities like rent, car payments, and food, or a connection to a potential job opportunity, any support would mean the world to me. My goal is to regain stability and rebuild after these unforeseen setbacks.

If you can help financially, it would provide immediate relief during this incredibly challenging time. If you know of opportunities in my field in the southern California area or can provide guidance on the job market, it could pave the way for me to rebuild my career.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for any assistance you can offer. Your kindness could make all the difference in helping me turn this difficult chapter around and move forward with hope and determination.

Will it end this year?

2024 has been THE year!  My wife and I are teachers.  Earlier this year (June) my wife had to have her neck fused.  Then, hurricane season arrived.  Milton decided to take our roof.  Still waiting for it to be repaired.  Then, my back went haywire.  Instead of spending Christmas with family, we spent it at home alone.  I am currently recovering from an L4-S1 fusion.  Needless to say, 2024 keeps on giving.  Now we are preparing to repair our AC unit as it went out.

We had other minor things throughout the year as well that have basically wiped us out.  And, now, being off for the next 8 to 12 weeks, short term just isn’t going to cover it.

I’m asking for help to reach $10,000.  This will take care of not only the AC reapair and my surgery bills,  but will also keep us afloat until I return to teaching my kiddos again.  Anything is greatly appreciated.

My cashapp link is $FloofyFL.

Thank you for your support!
