A Humble Request for Support During a Difficult Time

Hello,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is [Your Name], and I’m reaching out today with a heartfelt and humble request for a bit of support during a challenging time in my life.

I’m a single individual working hard to make ends meet, living paycheck to paycheck. I earn $1,000 every two weeks, and while I am grateful to have steady employment, the rising costs of basic necessities—food, groceries, gas, and monthly bills—have made it incredibly difficult to keep up. Like many others, I’ve felt the heavy strain of inflation and the ever-climbing cost of living.

One of my biggest financial burdens is rent, which takes a full $1,000 out of my income each month. That alone consumes nearly half of what I earn. After rent, utilities, transportation, and food, there’s often nothing left over. I find myself constantly playing catch-up, and saving for emergencies or the future has become nearly impossible.

I’m not asking for a handout, but rather a helping hand. If you’re in a position to help, even in the smallest way, your generosity would go a long way in helping me regain some financial breathing room. It would allow me to start saving for the future—something I’ve not been able to do despite my best efforts. Your support would provide some much-needed relief and peace of mind.

If you feel called to contribute, you can send a donation directly through my PayPal at the following link:

Even a few dollars would make a difference. And if you’re unable to give, sharing this message with others would mean just as much. I appreciate your time in reading my message, and I’m thankful for any consideration you can give.

Thank you for your kindness and support—it truly means the world.

Warm regards,

Joe

Seeking Support After First-Time DWI – At Risk of Losing My Job

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support during one of the most difficult times in my life.

I’m currently at risk of losing my job due to my first DWI offense. It was a terrible mistake, and I take full responsibility for it. I’ve been doing everything I can to manage the legal and personal consequences—but financially, I’ve hit a wall.

To cover attorney fees, court costs, and related expenses, I need to raise $12,000. I’ve managed to gather $4,000 through savings and small loans, but I’m still short by $8,000.

I’m not looking for sympathy—I’m asking for a second chance. This moment doesn’t define me. I’m determined to make things right, keep my job, and move forward with more clarity and responsibility.

If you’re in a position to help, even a small amount would mean the world to me. Every bit truly helps. My Cash App is $nick270895.

Thank you for reading. Please consider sharing this with others who may be willing to lend a hand.

Requesting assistance to retire and take care of my disabled wife full time

Hello friend,

I lost my retirement savings when I invested in a local biotechnology company. I was an inexperienced investor and fell for the CEO’s hype.

My second mistake was accepting money from Hometap for a percentage of my homes equity. I now owe Hometap $120,000 as of today. My mortgage balance is $325,000 and the combined total is $445,000.

My wife has been through the medical ringer through her life and it is very difficult to manage her care when I need to work 60 to 80 hours per week. This is also not sustainable due to the fact that I and going to be full retirement age soon.

My wife has multiple health challenges. She spent weeks in the hospital at the OHSU campus and has forever changes to her most basic faculties.

I would greatly appreciate anyone who has the means and desire to help me take care of my wife full time.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I would be happy to give you more detail if you are interested.

Danny

Need Help to Pay for Medical & Dental Expenses

To Whom This May Concern,

I am 33 years old & am in need of some serious help. I sadly still live at home with my parents as I haven’t been able to move out due to financial hardships. I had a couple other jobs in the 2010s but have also went a lot of unemployed time where I have been unable to receive unemployment money. Also thanks to the pandemic I was living off of the government’s Stimulus checks which didn’t really get me far.

Back In January I lost my job unexpectedly. I was working at Ted Britt Ford and they were unable to keep me on board as my job I was doing got taken over by the computer. So I am in the process of looking for a new job but as most know the job market is not the best at the moment. I had a little bit of savings from that job but I am running out of it & could really use the help.

To help build my credit and to give me a little extra help I also opened up some basic credit cards but have been unable to pay them off due to me loosing my job.

This past year I also started going to my local dentist thanks to getting a little bit of dental insurance as I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 15 years. All though I do have the Affordable Care Act as we know dental and medical bills are very expensive these days. I would like to be able to go to a doctor as well as the dentist to get a much needed check up. If you pay me for this I will use this money for this purpose.

I’d greatly appreciate it if this money were gifted to me ASAP so I can make sure these expenses are taken care of.

Thank you

I don’t have a Paypal.me but I do have a Cash App $ayisahyusuf & Venmo @ayisah-yusuf

Heart In Need

Dear Kind & Giving People,

First, thank you for taking the time to read my story. I’m grateful for your time. My heart aches as I look at my financial despair. I’ve focused my life decisions on my two beautiful daughters while being a single Mom for many years. I don’t know where I went wrong.

I can no longer provide the life they deserve due to years of struggling with mental & emotional issues and little to no support from their father as we separated when my daughters were 8 and 3 years old.

We lived a simple yet great life to me. At the time being able to afford a modest house, a simple vacation every few years and food. Now I’m left to pay the entire cost of my home, vehicle and all expenses for my children. I work a modest paying job full time and have my entire life. I always tried to maintain a stable life for myself and my children. I’ve switched jobs a couple times, reaching for more financial independence with NO results. All the while, being told NO when asking for help from my children’s father.

The cost of food, utilities and housing expenses alone, drains my bank account every month and puts me in the negative. I’ve been using credit cards to get by and pay bills for years. I haven’t been able to afford food for a long time so I’ve put groceries on credit cards, causing great debt. I pay my mortgage alone and cannot mentally take switching jobs again in an attempt to reach for more money.

Every life decision I’ve made has been based around securing financial stability for my children and I STILL don’t have anything for their future.

I feel ashamed and desperate, but hope that someone has been where I AM, and may have something in their heart to give. I’m asking for any monetary donation you can make. Please help if you are able to. If not, please send love and healing to my family and hope I can find a way out of this financial hardship.

I am grateful and thankful you took the time to read my story.

LOVE ALWAYS

Asking for help for medical bills

I’m a 59 year old with Lupus and had to retire from nursing because of it 2 years ago. I have been in and out of the hospital since 2022. The hospital gave me a discount for financial assistance but I am left with a remainder of $3764.09.  I’m in desperate need for it or any parts of it. I am behind in my regular bills trying to keep up and I am without family to ask for help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please help me, disabled, and my senior pets find permanent sanctuary housing

Hello — I’m Justin.

I am a 58-year-old disabled guy, a title that carries with it not just my age or identity, but the rich tapestry of experiences that have lead me to this moment in my life. For many years, I have been living with a severe chronic neurological headache condition that makes my reality in an urban environment both challenging and fraught with medical and emotional pitfalls. It has not been an easy journey, marked as it has been by years of uncertainty regarding my housing situation, the frequent distress stemming from medical emergencies related to noise and other environmental sensitivities, and the challenges of surviving on a limited, meager long-term disability income for over a decade. I have always been resilient, but now, I find myself reaching out for assistance in a way that feels both vulnerable but absolutely necessary. I’m afraid we will end up homeless given rising costs of living for rent, food, etc.

My dream is to purchase a modest eco-home situated in a serene rural setting. I envision a tranquil, off-grid-ready sanctuary that not only helps me to age more peacefully but also allows me to do so alongside my three cherished senior rescue dogs – among them is a devoted blind diabetic miniature schnauzer who requires daily insulin injections, special dietary needs, and diligent round-the-clock care. Providing this nurturing environment is crucial for both my well-being and that of my beloved pets. An animal rescue sanctuary too, for senior and or disabled dogs I’m thinking.

Recently, I discovered a property in Douglas City, CA, nestled next to the breathtaking Trinity National Forest. This lush location boasts nature’s serene beauty and encompasses nearly everything I need to ensure a stable life:

  • Expanses of tranquil, wooded land where I can explore the wonders of nature, breathe fresh air, and find solace.
  • A set-up for solar energy, a backup generator, a well, a septic system, and a wood stove; amenities essential for an off-grid lifestyle.
  • A garage and dedicated fencing that provide a secure environment for my dogs to roam and play safely.
  • All of this enveloped in serenity, silence, and that precious space we all need to breathe and thrive.

Although the property is mostly move-in ready, it still requires some important repairs and enhancements to guarantee its long-term sustainability and comfort. My aspiration is to raise sufficient funds not only for the crucial home purchase but also to prepay 3 to 5 years of property taxes, insurance, and essential maintenance.

With this newfound security, I could finally experience the rest I’ve long been denied due to the lingering fears of eviction or homelessness, stemming from my fixed long-term disability income. Additionally, with the rising exorbitant cost of living across the United States, this stability is more vital than ever.

Upon reaching the age of 62 in just a few short years, I anticipate qualifying for a reverse mortgage. This financial avenue could provide me with supplementary income in retirement while ensuring the home will pass back to the lender upon my death. To me, this represents a fitting and dignified exit strategy, especially since I have no heirs to take responsibility for the home after I am gone.

I want to clarify that I am not running a business nor am I offering various perks or services. Instead, I am simply appealing for help — to co-create a life deeply rooted in tranquility, safety, and a sense of stewardship.

Your compassionate and generous donation will support me in the following impactful ways:

  • Acquiring the home (or a comparable property), enabling me to secure a foundational place (approximately $400,000).
  • Conducting necessary repairs and upgrades such as roofing, insulation, and fencing to protect and enhance our quality of life.
  • Prepaying for property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for a period of 3 to 5 years, providing earnest peace of mind.
  • Providing a lasting haven for myself and my beloved dogs, ensuring we share this sanctuary together.

This is a singular request, a last-ditch effort to achieve peace and security for myself and my aging, beloved pets.

If you are unable to give, I kindly ask that you consider sharing this story — a single share has the potential to transform my life remarkably.

I can receive funds via bitcoin at my decidedly empty bitcoin wallet address below:

You can send bitcoin (BTC) even if you don’t do or have crypto bitcoin accounts by using Cash App with these instructions at this link

Thank you, truly from the depths of my heart.

Trying to Keep My Family Afloat – Please Help

Hello,

I never thought I’d find myself writing something like this, but life has brought us to a place where we have no choice but to ask for help.

Before COVID, I worked full-time as a dialysis technician. It was a meaningful job that I was proud of—but like many others, I lost that job during the pandemic. Since then, I’ve been trying to rebuild. After months of applying to jobs, I received an email from a life insurance agency and saw an opportunity to start fresh. I began working as a life insurance agent in September 2024.

What I didn’t realize is how difficult it would be to get started in this field. It takes time to build a client base and earn commissions. I’m learning and improving every day, but we’re falling behind faster than I can catch up.

To make things harder, my husband—who has always been our main source of support—is now dealing with serious physical health issues that prevent him from working. He has always carried us, and now he’s counting on me. It breaks my heart to feel like I’m letting him down, even though I’m doing everything I can.

Right now, we are:

Behind on our mortgage payments

At risk of having our electricity shut off

Unable to afford tags for one of our cars, while the other is close to breaking down

Struggling to pay for groceries and basic necessities

About to lose our phone service, which I rely on to work and connect with clients

We are doing everything possible to stay afloat, but we’re running out of time and options. I’m not asking for a handout—I’m just asking for a chance to get through this rough patch so I can continue building my business and support my family the way they deserve.

If you’re able to help, even a small amount would make a world of difference to us. Thank you for taking the time to read my story—and for caring enough to consider helping.

With sincere gratitude,

Ashley

Trying to Stay Afloat After Losing My Job – Anything Helps Right Now

Hi everyone,

This isn’t an easy thing for me to write, but I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for help.

A few months ago, I was unexpectedly let go from my job. It was a position that aligned with my degree and something I had worked incredibly hard to land. I poured my energy into that role, only to find myself unemployed through no fault of my own. Since then, life has felt like a nonstop uphill battle.

I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat. I’ve been Ubering nearly every day, taking whatever odd jobs I can find—from dog walking to helping people move. I’ve even applied to jobs outside of my field, including restaurant work and retail, just to have something steady. In fact, I’ve applied to over a hundred jobs, and I can prove it. I’ve tailored my resume, written countless cover letters, and followed up every chance I got. But despite all the effort, nothing has landed yet.

The biggest weight on me right now is my student loans. I’ve fallen behind, and the pressure is getting heavier by the day. I’m not someone who shirks responsibility—I know these are my loans, my obligations. But life has thrown me off course, and now I’m just trying to catch up before things spiral even more. Right now, I’m about $3,000 behind. That amount would help me get current on my payments, keep collectors off my back, and give me just enough breathing room to keep applying to jobs without my life collapsing around me.

I’m not asking for luxury—just a little help getting my head above water. Anything you can give would mean the world to me. And if you can’t donate, just sharing this would help more than you know.

I truly believe I’ll get back on my feet soon. I just need a little help to make it through this stretch. Thank you for reading, and thank you for caring.

Please help save my home

Hello, I am a member of the Army National guard for 21 years now, I was on active guard orders that were supposed to be long term, after 4 years funding for my position was cut and had been quickly left jobless for about a month, I got back into the construction business, but do not make anywhere close to what I was on orders. With house loan, vehicle loan, child support from previous marriage I just can’t make it. I do make enough now to keep up if I was caught up but got too far behind to recover. My home is in foreclosure process at about 13,000 dollars behind and I’m about 3,000 dollars behind on child support of which I just received paperwork for contempt of court hearing in May. My electric is about to be shut off for about 1,200 dollars. I am seriously at a crossroad with no idea how to fix my situation. I worked so hard to get this house 4 years ago and have made it my family home where several great memories have been made. I just feel like the good Lord keeps testing me and I just continue to try to find a way to get back on my feet again. I am super embarrassed and defeated to even do this, but I have to do something, I have to try every avenue to be the man of the house and save everything for my family. Any help would be eternally grateful and forever thankful for your generosity to help save someone’s life.

Seeking Help to Escape a Dangerous Situation – Any Support is Deeply Appreciated

Hi everyone, my name is Autumn, and I’m a 51 year old woman living in Austin Tx. I’m reaching out with a humble, heartfelt request for any financial assistance – cash, a reliable used vehicle, or connections to resources that could help me escape a controlling and emotionally unhealthy relationship.

I’ve been in a 25-year marriage that has become increasingly toxic and emotionally abusive. While I remained hopeful for many years, things worsened drastically after our children -now grown and living on their own- left home. None of them are in a position to help financially, though they care deeply. After they moved out, we relocated from Houston to Georgetown, separating me even further from my kids, who still live back in Houston. That’s when things really took a turn for the worse. I’m now threatened on a near-daily basis with being thrown out onto the streets, and my phone is often turned off as a form of punishment and control. I endure constant verbal abuse and name calling. I’ve been intentionally kept financially dependent, with limited or no access to money or transportation, which has made it incredibly difficult to leave and start fresh.

I currently do not have a vehicle, and my financial situation is grossly limited. This makes it hard to get to job interviews, secure housing, or even get basic necessities. I am asking for any support to help me transition into a safer environment – even a small contribution would mean so much.

That said, I’m more than willing to work or repay any help I receive. I am a capable and dependable person with real skills and a strong work ethic. Here’s what I can offer:

  • Expert organizer – I can organize anything from closets to entire homes.
  • Childcare – I’ve raised four amazing kids and love working with children.
  • Personal assistant tasks – I’m efficient, reliable, and have excellent phone and communication skills.
  • Animal care – I’m a true animal lover and currently have two cats.

Any contribution – big or small – will make a huge difference in my life. I’m not only asking for financial help; I’m asking for a chance to rebuild my life and create a future where I feel safe, strong, and independent again.

If you would like to donate, to help me get back on my feet, I have two options for payment:

  • PayPal: PayPal.me/Catmama13
  • Zelle: You can send directly to my phone number linked to my account (message me for details)

If you can’t donate, please share my story. Your support means the world to me. I truly believe in the power of community, and with your help, I can finally escape this situation and start fresh.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Autumn

From Independent to In Need: A Lifelong Fighter Asking for a Hand

Hello,

My name is Niko, and I’ve always been someone who believed in hard work, self-reliance, and building a life I could be proud of. I never imagined I’d be in a position where I needed to ask for help. But here I am—because life had other plans.

My story starts early. When I was just one year old, my father died suddenly at 28 from a massive heart attack. My mother was left alone with three young children and some Social Security survivor benefits. When I was five, she remarried—but unfortunately, the man she married was violent and cruel. From a very young age, I knew I could only depend on myself. At 17, I left home and moved to New York City in 1987 to make my own way.

And I did. I built a life I was proud of. I worked hard—sometimes two jobs at once—and created a sense of security for myself. But there were two things I didn’t factor in: my health, and a global pandemic.

In 2006, I was prescribed a life-saving medication. It was originally a small tablet that dissolved under my tongue and worked beautifully. But six years ago, the manufacturer changed the formula to a dissolvable strip—like those Listerine breath strips. Over time, something devastating happened: my teeth began to decay and fall out. The connection wasn’t obvious at first, and I carried so much shame, believing it was somehow my fault.

Eventually, I learned I wasn’t alone—there is now a class-action lawsuit related to this medication. While it brought some relief to know I wasn’t to blame, that didn’t fix my teeth.

Meanwhile, the pandemic hit. I work in the restaurant industry and didn’t work for nearly three years. I maxed out my credit cards and took out a small loan just to pay for painful extractions and basic dentures. The dentures are loose and don’t fit well. The bottom set doesn’t work at all anymore, and I can only wear the top piece—which is also ill-fitting. Eating, speaking, smiling—it’s all affected. I wear a mask everywhere, not because of COVID, but because of the deep embarrassment I feel.

Now that restaurants have reopened, I’m working again—but earning 30% less than I was pre-pandemic. I’m applying for other jobs, but at every interview, the mask is a question. I’ve tried explaining, but I’ve never been called back. I understand—who wants to hire a server without teeth, even if they wear a mask?

All I need is $18,000. This will cover the cost of proper dental implants and restore both my health and my dignity. I’ve done everything I can on my own—but this time, I need help.

If you can give anything, even a little, I will be forever grateful. And when I’m back on my feet—and I will be—I promise to pay it forward. I will come back to this very site and help someone else who’s scared and struggling, just like I am now.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring.

With love and hope,
Niko
