Need helping paying off debts

Hey, I’m working towards paying off debts but it’s been challenging. First I want to thank you all in advance for helping me. I really appreciate you all.

I have several loans and a credit card that I used to pay for school, books for classes, bills, food, etc during the pandemic 2020 when I was laid off because of the Covid shutdown.

Since then I’ve worked several jobs at a time to pay back these loans and credit card but life happen. I really want and pray to financially free of debt and to be able to breathe and enjoy life. Without worry of debts.

Thank you for taking out the time to read my story.

Need Help! Facing foreclosure soon.

Hello,

My name is Mr. Rogers and I’m married with 7 kids in the home from ages 4-17. Currently my family is facing a foreclosure on our mortgage. It all started a year ago when I got laid off from my full-time job and begin doing gig work like amazon and grocery deliveries to make ends meet. As a result I was able to keep food on the table and pay some small bills, but was getting behind on the mortgage. Today I’m happy to say that I have a new full time job and part time too. My attempt to catch up on my mortgage has been very challenging. I’ve managed to get close to being able to pay the reinstate fee, but is short $5000. I’m asking for help to save my family from being homeless this winter. I would greatly appreciate any amount right about now. Thank you and God bless.

INJURED – Back Rent and Car Repair HELP

I went through a monumental set back back in my life having to start with nothing and have climbed up out of homelessness into my own apartment.  I badly injured myself that has taken over 2 years to recover from and have started physical therapy the end of August.  My landlord has been patiently waiting for the amount I owe in back rent.  I cannot physically work yet.  I need $3,000 for back rent plus $1,000 for current rent and $3,000 to repair my car and get it registered.  It is parked with 2 flat tires that keep going flat after repair work at auto shop.  I need new set of tires for winter and  emission work and windshield to get my car to pass state inspection and get the registration and license plate for it so I have transportation to a job once I can work a job again.  I need $7,000 which will keep me from being evicted and being homeless and have transportation to get to work in the very cold snowy climate in Vermont in winter coming soon.

I had broken my leg and nearly ripped all of my ligaments on both knees.  I could not walk for a long time.  My apartment is upstairs and I was home bound because I could not go up and down stairs.  I am walking now but still have great difficulty with stairs.  I have a few more months of physical therapy and healing before I can return to a job.  I only receive food stamps and no other source of income.  It has been a struggle each month asking  for help with phone bill and car insurance paid by a disabled friend on very low income.  When I am healed, I can work again and support myself.

I just went through a terrible flood disaster in July in Vermont.  Everything  in front and back of my house washed away in the flood.  I am trying to hold on after having climbed my way up from nothing.   I have trained for good job when healed so am nearly back on my feet when I am recovered enough to start working if my financial need is met by caring people who can help me.

Bless you for helping me! paypal.me/Sparklingbluesaphire

Help us Buy Our 1st Home

Dear Donor,

My husband and I would first thank you for taking the time to read this and donating. We are asking for your help to achieve home ownership as at this time we can’t do it on our own. We have been trying to do everything necessary to be in a good position to achieve our dream of homeownership, but like Murphy’s law when something’s go wrong, it really goes wrong. We started the process by the end of 2020. We did the normal things such as pulling our credit reports, checked our finances with a professional to have an overall idea of our spending and where to cut back, and created a plan to improve our credit scores, save money and payoff credit cards. We both had relatively good jobs and thought that would be the next step for us. In 2021, I even started a small business which gave us extra income to achieve our goal faster. Everything was going well, until September of 2021. First, my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. The news alone was devastating but the worst part is that he lives overseas, and his insurance would not cover the treatment. The majority of my family that lives overseas and many communicated that they could not help with the treatment costs. My parents were already retired and living on a limited income, so after discussing it with my husband, we used the money we had saved to pay for the cost of the treatment. Then my grandmother fell down and broke her hip for which again we helped with hospital costs not covered by the insurance. Honestly I would do it again as they are my grandparents and it was the right thing to do. By November of 2021 my husband and I got COVID. It was full blown COVID and we spent about a month and a half out of work. Thank goodness that we had vacation time accumulated as both being so sick, we couldn’t work. So we had to used our credit cards just for a couple of weeks. When we finally were cleared in late December, my husband came back to work to a hostile environment. Apparently his boss was reprimanded because despite having four other people in the department, their work fell behind because my husband was out sick. It came to light that my husband completed at least 70% of the department’s workload. His boss started to add more work, impossible deadlines and made his work life a living hell. The situation went off for months even after involving HR. My husband was at the brink of insanity. My breaking point was when during a dental appointment, our dentist stated that my husband has grinded his teeth within a couple of months so severely that they would need to do crowns on all of his teeth costing $30k, which of course our dental insurance didn’t cover. I was so afraid on my husband’s mental state that I told him to quit his job. My salary alone could cover the main bills and with the extra income from my business, it would have been ok. We did some readjustments to our plan and knew we had to push back our goal a bit. We agreed that he would help me with the business instead of going for another job as I was not able to handle all myself to give him time to mentally recuperate. He agreed after one of our furry babies got sick and even after all the money we paid for treatment, we had to put her to sleep.
For three months after my husband quit his job, we did well. During those first three months, I also got a job offer for the same position with another company but of course better salary so I accepted it.  We felt that we were going to go back on track until one day, a person that used to be our friend asked me to borrow my car to visit her grandmother who was sick. This person said that her car was being repaired and offer to pay me some money for allowing her to use my car. I had started to work remotely for my new job so I didn’t see the harm. I had already taken my vehicle for service a couple of weeks prior and everything was in top shape so I agreed. She was late in returning my vehicle and when she did, I had to go an pick it up with a tow truck at her house. When I took the vehicle to the dealership, I was told that the transmission had gone bad and had to be replaced. I was besides myself when I heard that as my vehicle which I had purchased brand new five years prior was in excellent condition. Plus, I had my vehicle appraised close to $12k right after the last service (my husband and I were thinking of paying off the balance of $3k with some extra money that was going to come in and sell the car to use the money as a down payment). We didn’t have the money to do the repairs, the warranty had lapsed a month prior and a vehicle that I still owed money on was basically worthless. I was offered $500 to junk it. The so called friend refused to pay for the repairs as the mechanic indicated that he could not say for sure if this person did anything to it because my car has a cvt transmission and they just go bad. The dealership where I purchased and serviced my car would not pay for the repairs either. We looked for lawyers and no one wanted to take the case. So I paid off the vehicle, and after a lot of debate decided to do the repairs. I decided to take my vehicle to a reputable transmission shop. I was quoted $5,400 for part, labor and taxes. On top of that since my car is small, a new transmission is hard to come by. So I was set up with a company that would  allow me to make monthly payments. I reviewed the contract and signed it. After making payments for a couple of months, I requested a statement because the company had failed to provide one and I was having issues logging into their website. When I got the statement, I was in shock. This company was charging me $12k between the cost of repairs, interest and taxes. Their contract did not mention the interest as because the contract was considered a rent to own one, it didn’t have to list it.I fought this company until they agreed to settle. However, I ended up paying them $7k. After that it has been a series of events that kept pushing our goal far away. The last part that happened which it is the reason why I come to you for help is that our building was sold to a new owner. The new owner has now indicated that by January 1, our rent is going to increase to almost twice of what we pay now, and to be quite honest the apartment is not worth. It is a studio with approximately 400 sqft. We have been approved for a mortgage but what we lack is the down payment. Unfortunately we won’t have enough time to raise the money ourselves. If we can raise up to $20,000, it would help us tremendously.  We have no one else to turn to. Thank you again for reading this and for your contributions to achieve one of our dreams. You can send it via cashapp $ranOBBB1. Again thank you.

Aged out foster child needing housing assistance

Good day all! I hope all is well for whomever comes across this post.

I’m writing this today because I am in desperate need of help in my current situation, as hard as it is for me to admit.

I’ve been in foster care for my entire childhood after my mother passed not too long after I was born and my father put me up for adoption when I was still very young. Since the age of 4, I’ve been through multiple foster homes, faced all kinds of abuse and neglect, and have suffered homelessness at several points during my early teenage years. However, through it all, I maintained hope. Hope that one day I would be able to free myself from this pain and heal out of the trauma that’s been following me for over a decade now. And I’m very close

I’ve managed to graduate from high-school and I currently take online computer science courses. I also work when I’m not in classes. However I’ve been aged out of the foster care system and there’s no further housing assistance program that they offer, which is leaving me homeless at the current moment. I still go to work and attend classes at a nearby cafe, trying to make the best of my current situation. I do not have any family that I know of, nor any friends I can turn to, so I’m left with little options. I am not asking for much, just simply $1000 for a room. Anything and everything helps.

Thanks and bless you all!

Urgent Financial Hardship – Inability to Pay Rent

Hi,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing this with a heavy heart to tell you about my current financial situation, which has left me unable to meet my most basic financial obligations, including my rent of $2,500.

Over the past few months, I have faced some challenges which greatly weighs me down, unexpected medical expenses, job loss, inability to pay my rent, which have significantly impacted my income. Despite my best efforts to budget and find work, , my financial condition has reached a point where I am extremely broke, and I find myself unable to afford even the necessities.

I understand the importance and responsibility of paying rent, and it deeply distresses me to be in this position. I value the home I have here . My intention is not to avoid my obligations, but rather to seek assistance during this incredibly challenging time.

I am actively searching for a new job and exploring assistance programs, and I am hopeful that my situation will improve in the coming months. In the meantime, I am asking if there might be any way i could address my rent payments. I just want to pay my rent so i can have a place to sleep.

I am more than willing to provide any documentation or further information you may require to verify my current situation. Once I am in a better financial position, I am committed to addressing any arrears.

I appreciate your understanding during this difficult period in my life.

Thank you for your consideration and understanding.

Warm regards,

odemijie osemudiamen.

Battling the Storm: A Struggle of Sacrifice, and Resilience

the year 2020, my stepdad, John, injured his arm at work. It was a devastating blow for him, not just physically but also emotionally. He had always been the breadwinner of the family, and now he felt like he had let my mom down.

As the days went by, John’s physical pain turned into a deep depression. Unable to cope with his feelings of failure, he turned to alcohol as a means of escape. He drowned his sorrows day after day, until one fateful morning when he woke my mom up and pleaded to be taken to the hospital. He realized that something was seriously wrong with him.

Panicked, my mom immediately called for an ambulance. When she left the hospital that night, John seemed fine and responsive, giving her hope that things would be okay. He promised to call her the next day around noon, but when she tried to reach him, his phone was off. Frantic, my mom called the hospital, only to be informed that she needed to go there immediately.

When my mom arrived at the hospital, she was devastated to find John unresponsive. The doctors informed her that he had suffered brain damage and was now in a coma. The next month became a blur of fear and uncertainty as we watched helplessly, hoping for a miracle.

During this time, I became acutely aware of her financial situation. My mom relied on social security for income, and it was barely enough to cover her basic needs. Determined to make sure she wouldn’t have to worry about finances, I made a bold decision. I decided to buy a house for both of us, even though I knew nothing about the process.

Working with a realtor, I emphasized that I needed a home that required minimal work. We closed on a house that seemed promising, but my naivety soon caught up with me. The insurance company refused to cover the home because it needed a new roof, which the realtor had failed to disclose. The repairs would cost nearly $10,000. As if that wasn’t enough, the chimney was also deteriorating and sinking, requiring an additional $5,000.

With my limited knowledge of escrow, I found myself in a financial nightmare. In 2022, I lost my job and struggled to find something comparable. My escrow payments skyrocketed to nearly $1,000 a month, making it nearly impossible to keep up with the mortgage. I fell behind on payments, managed to catch up briefly, but the increasing escrow kept pushing me further into debt.

Desperate to make ends meet, I took on odd jobs during the day and worked as a doordasher and process server in the evenings. Despite my best efforts, I fell behind on my mortgage payments again. The stress of potentially losing our home weighed heavily on me, but I couldn’t burden my mom, who was already dealing with her own health issues.

With my credit ruined and no viable options, I felt trapped. Selling the house seemed pointless, as the cost of renting in Chattanooga was just as high, if not higher. I didn’t want to uproot my mom and risk leaving her homeless. Every day is becoming a constant struggle, and I feel like I am drowning in a sea of financial despair.

In this moment of desperation, any form of assistance, no matter how small, would be a lifeline. Having the repairs done would let me get a cheaper insurance premium. I just want to keep our home and ensure my mom’s well-being. The weight of our situation is overwhelming, but I refused to give up on finding a solution. https://www.paypal.me/ncmadewell

Cancer Survivor Requesting Help With Medical Bills

Greetings!

My name is Arlene, and I am a 65-year-old two-time breast cancer survivor. I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and underwent surgery and radiation therapy. Thankfully, I went into remission. However, in 2022, my cancer returned. I underwent two more surgeries, and I am currently in remission once again.

I am grateful for my life and for the second chance I have been given. However, the cost of my medical treatment has been a significant financial burden. I am currently on a fixed income and am struggling to pay my medical bills.

I am writing to you today to ask for your help. I am raising money to pay for my medical bills and to focus on my recovery. Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated.

I know that there are many worthy causes out there, and I appreciate you taking the time to consider my request. Here is a little bit more about my story:

I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. I was devastated, but I was determined to fight. I underwent surgery and radiation, and I went into remission.

For the next 12 years, I lived a full and healthy life. I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends, and I was active in my community and church.

However, in 2022, my cancer returned. I was shocked and scared, but I knew that I had to fight again. I underwent two more surgeries, and I am currently in remission once again.

I am so grateful for the doctors and nurses who have cared for me. I am also grateful for the support of my family and friends.

However, the cost of my medical treatment has been a significant financial burden. I am currently on a fixed income and am unable to afford to pay my medical bills, which totalled more than $15,000.

I am asking for your help to pay for my medical bills and to focus on my recovery. I want to be able to enjoy my life without having to worry about my finances.

Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Heartfelt thanks in advance for your donation to: paypal.me/InsideMyCandle or CASHAPP: $divine6017

Finding Hope During Hardship

I hope this message finds you well and in high spirits.

I want to reach out to you today with a request that is both humbling and essential. I am not one to easily ask for help, but I have exhausted all other options, and I currently find myself in a situation where I need assistance.

Life has a way of presenting unexpected challenges and over the past year, circumstances beyond my control have led to a financial crisis that I am struggling to overcome. The hardship started when suddenly my father in law passed away and just 9 months after his death we found my brother in law dead also. This emotional toll leads to increased stress and health-related issues and I end up without a job.  A series of medical emergencies, my mother in law got sick and then both of my parents got sick. They both live out of state and I had to travel to assist with their care. When back from taking care of my parents my husband had an emergency surgery that left him unable to work for the following 6 months.

These unexpected events  have caused a temporary disruption in my ability to meet financial obligations on time. In these trying times, I find myself in a situation where I simply need to catch up on my bills to maintain a sense of stability and security for my family and me. Rest assured, I am not seeking assistance for extravagant expenses but rather to bridge the gap caused by this unexpected financial strain. By bringing my bills up to date, I hope to regain control over my finances, avoid mounting late fees, and ensure that the essentials like housing, utilities, and groceries are consistently covered. The  goal is to get as close as possible to  $5,500.  Your support in helping me achieve this goal would be a tremendous relief, allowing me to focus on rebuilding my financial stability and providing a better future for my loved ones.

Your kindness and understanding during this challenging period are deeply appreciated.
