Dear friends and compassionate supporters,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a humble request for assistance during an incredibly challenging time in our lives. Well, the past few years honestly. Since the close of the pandemic.
The rapid deaths in the family started in October of 2021, with my girlfriends nephew John. A young adult in his second year at Texas Tech University, trying to find his way in life while developing a drug addiction. He went to meet his maker on the 14th of October ’21 after his heart stopped from an overdose of ketamine. His mother stroked his hair with his head in her lap for hours before leaving his room, that last night they spoke. He spent most of the conversation appologising for “who he’d become” in the years previous to his passing.
Next was Elizabeth’s Father In-law, who developed rapid onset dementia. Previous to losing his mind & memories, he squandered all the families retirement nest egg to a shady investor that took them for it all. Then he deteriorated while the soon to be widow has no idea how to pay for or access all of the accounts for bills he took care of.
And finally, just 1 months ago, our world was shattered when my beloved girlfriend, my soulmate & best friend, Elizabeth passed away suddenly due to a devastating brain aneurysm while at work. Her loss has left an immense void in our hearts, and it’s been an incredibly difficult period for both me and her family, especially her daughter, Marie.
She just graduated collage in May and also procured a position at the County Clearks Office, just around the corner from where her mother was also working, with the County.
In the midst of mourning, we are now facing the very real risk of losing our family home, the place filled with precious memories that we shared. The financial strain caused by medical bills, funeral expenses, and the loss of her income has put us in a precarious situation. We’re at risk of losing the place that has provided stability and comfort to our family.
I am reaching out to you, our friends, family, and community, with a heartfelt plea. We need your support to raise $175,000 in a weeks time to save our home from foreclosure. in the past couple years before her passing we had finachal struggles and had just brought the mortgage current again, a few months before her passing. So the standard ‘Grace’ period of 90-120 days delinquent isn’t available to clients, twice in the same calender year. Additionally the HOA is behind & we are doing good to just keep the lights on at this point. Thank Goodness Summer is over & Fall is finally here.
Your generosity will not only help us secure a roof over our heads but also provide some stability and security during this incredibly trying time.
This donation would make a huge difference in our lives and help us preserve the place that holds our cherished memories. If you are unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing our story with your network. Your kindness and support mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering supporting our cause. Your generosity will help us move forward with hope and healing, knowing that we have a community of caring individuals standing by our side.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Jacob C.
