Appendectomy

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am requesting help because my partner is very unwell. He had been complaining of fever and intense headaches for a while now but we thought it was just the volatile weather changes. The pain took a different turn last week which forced him to go to the hospital for check tests. He was diagnosed with Appendicitis and was told he needed urgent surgery to avoid any rupture, as this would cause the infection to spread to other organs, which is life threatening.

He cannot go to work at the moment and I am in between jobs, so cannot raise the required amount for surgery. I have just paid the rent and bills and we’re both in shock and confused on what to do. It all happened so fast and we have spent the whole week looking for help everywhere, because the Dr requested he comes in as fast as possible. He was programmed for Monday but he can’t go in due to lack of funds. We have to pay for the treatment. There’s no stable income to rely on at this time with both our situations.

I am reaching out with a heavy heart, seeking support during a challenging time for my family and me.

I reside in England with my husband and three young children, aged 6, 6, and 4. Our lives took a drastic turn in January 2017 when my husband experienced a vitreous eye hemorrhage. Since then, he has been undergoing continuous treatment due to recurring vein issues in his eye, which has left his vision severely blurred. These health challenges have also taken a toll on his mental well-being, leading to anxiety and panic attacks, exacerbated by mounting debts.

In the midst of these difficulties, I have been caring for our children, making it difficult for me to work until recently. With my younger son now in full-time school, I’ve been actively searching for employment to alleviate our financial burdens. Our living conditions add to our struggles. We reside in a small one-bedroom flat, which is woefully inadequate for our growing family. Despite being on a social housing waiting list for the past five years, we have yet to receive a suitable offer.

Adding to our heartache, my elder daughter from my previous marriage is living elsewhere due to our limited accommodations, and I deeply miss her presence in our home. The strain on our family’s mental health is becoming overwhelming.

Recently, I made a desperate attempt to improve our financial situation by taking on an online job. Regrettably, it turned out to be a scam, and I was deceived into taking loans from friends to meet the requirements of this fraudulent endeavor. I lost approximately £6000 in total, and I now find myself in significant debt. The individuals behind this scam are relentlessly demanding repayment, which I currently cannot afford. My bank account is already in the red by £600, and the situation is dire.

I am sharing this with you in the hope that you might consider extending your assistance to help me clear these debts. I have documented evidence of how I fell victim to this scam, and any support can provide would make an immense difference in our lives. My goal is to eventually provide a better environment for my autistic daughter, reunite our family, and lift the burden of debt that is currently crushing us.

Money needed to help make vital repairs to equestrian yard

Hello, thank you for reading my post.

My name is Lucy and I recently purchased a 12 horse livery yard which has been a lifelong dream of mine every since I was a child and I fell in love with nature and animals at a very early age.

Over the last 7 years, I have created an ecommerce business from nothing and have brought up 3 children during this time but my dream has always been to work with animals and children.

The purchase of the livery yard completed in August 2023 and the stables are in a very bad way due to age and storm damage which occurred recently.

I don’t have the cash to improve the stables and I am in the process of setting up a forest school/day care for young children from 6 months – 4 years and money is tight.

 

The Stables are in a bad state after years of neglect and lack of money and they won’t last another winter.

For someone to help me improve these stables would mean the absolute world to me and my family and the horses that live there.

My daughter is a Domestic abuse survivor

Hello. I’ve never asked for help in 71 years but feel now that I have to ‘bite the bullet’ , forget my pride in an attempt to help my daughter. She has just come out of a very bad 10 year relationship,  her ex was controlling and had a violent temper. I had no idea until she asked for help during a bad episode.  She is now safeguarded by the police and his court case is happening within next two months. The police have advised her to move home before the court case but unfortunately he left financial problems that my daughter wasn’t aware of. As her parents we have done everything we can, emotionally and financially but as we are pensioners the financial side is ending as our savings have almost gone. She works long hours but only just survives.

To move to a new home, where she will still be safeguarded, she will need financial help with regard to a deposit and one month’s rent.  This would be minimum £2,000. This is not possible for us nor can we seek loans due to being on state pension only.

Need Digital Hearing Aids

My name is James I’m 46 years old born with a severe hearing impairment.  I have a family with one son he’s aged 11.

My education is OK but I did struggle due to my hearing impairment. Hearing aids aren’t great neither are they any better nowadays. I did go to uni but didn’t quite make it due to my struggles.

When I left uni I worked at my dad’s place for a month doing solicitor searches for a water company. It was good. Then I went to try other jobs my dad was made redundant. So I followed him he went into teaching and he managed to get me into teaching. So I taught IT at college aimed at 14 to 19 year old students.

It was stressful and difficult for me. So I decided to leave, tried market research met alot of people all over the country asking for everyone’s opinions for the surveys. After a few years of knocking doors in all the weather’s for peanut crap money I was made redundant without a job.

Struggled to find work for nearly a year eventually got into bus driving. I’ve been on the buses for nearly 10 years.

Now it’s time to move on I need a new approach in life better lifestyle and more money to enjoy all the things I’ve missed out on.

A Place to Call Home

Hello my name is Lisa and I am a single person based in the UK. I live in an apartment block in East London.

Like everyone I have been affected by the energy crisis but in recent times this has now hit me hard and I find myself in a living situation that is spiralling out of control with household bills I can no longer afford. Currently the amount in debt is £3,500.00 and yet to go up with another £1,000.00 to be added by the end of the year, and this will continue on a quarterly basis.

The service charges and utility bills have increased by 80% in the past year and I have to pay these bills to a housing management company that is similar to a mafia (whatever they charge it has to be paid as is stated in the lease). It doesn’t matter how negligent the management company has been by spending the money on service fees and contractors, it is still demanded and without payment they have sent letters of threats of legal action and eviction.

I am in between a rock and a hard place, unable to pay the bills with no support offered and also unable to move house for a fresh start without the unscrupulous housing management company, which is turning into a highly stressful situation. Even with a full time job, unfortunately my salary hasn’t doubled so living here has now become unsustainable and if I stay here I will face eviction with nowhere to go.

Legally I do not have much of a leg to stand on and of course even if I considered taking on a multi million housing agency in a court, this of course would cost even more money with legal fees. I am now looking to find a new home, somewhere that doesn’t have these insane bills and fees that apartments sadly have. For a new home I would require a deposit of at least £20,000.

Help to Begin My Life Anew

Hi my name is Abayomi, this might sound silly but I need money to leave my mom’s house, I am currently working as a tasker to make money but it is slow and I recently got a job bit o just got it and I have not been paid yet, it is also a warehouse job so the pay isn’t good. LAST HOPE

I’m a young woman who has worked all her life. This is no sob story and im not looking for sympathy but empathy. I won’t make this statement long and this is quite embarrassing for me to admit but i need help.

I lost everything after the passing of my parents during covid. I lost my Job and our home since i couldn’t keep up with the payments. i had just finished university and been actively looking for employment but to no avail.

it’s been really hard getting back on my feet. my parent’s funeral bills are £20,000. I also have a health condition that requires £2,000 every month for treatment. Im an only child, and there’s no one to help me. My parents family don’t want to help and have become oblivious to this whole ordeal. I have requested for a payment plan and been asked to pay for my parent’s bodies to be stored until payment is made so I took out a loan of £5,000 for this. I’ve been working odd shifts here and there but not enough to even make a dent and merely surviving. I’ve also been sofa surfing from friends.

I have tried charities and been left on a waiting list for over 2 years. I am really struggling to keep afloat, my health is deteriorating and have suicidal thoughts every day but i can’t allow myself to give up. I’ve sold everything i owned, including my car to meet these payments.

As i write this, im very upset and at wits end. i don’t want to be a burden to anyone and if you’ve come this far in my story, i am truly moved and would appreciate your help. I need a total of £40,000 but any amount would be greatly appreciated.

So here is a brief description on what happened to me-

I had signed up to a company called Venus Crypto, it was supposedly a crypto investment site where the company trades for you, and you can reinvest for a higher % of income, so I invested and everything was going good until I apprently hit a limit where I had to pay to withdraw my cash, so speaking with the online agent they told me I need to deposit $3000 in worth of crypto to claim the rest of my earnings, in total I had invested about $8500 only for them to ask me to deposit more, so to shorten the storey it was all fake so I would send crypto that they could take from me, that was all my saving I had, I had to cancel a holiday for me and my partner with our children aged 6 and 8. I’m probably not the only person this happend to also these people must have got away with thousands maybe millions as it all looked legit, it also was registered with companies house.
