LOSING MY HOME CAN’T PAY MY MORTGAGE

Hi, my name is Agatha, I hail from Kerala (Aluva) – India. I am aged 54yrs (a widow with no children) my mother is 74years old she is also a widow. She hardly moves around with the support of a wheel chair and walker. We two are all alone at our home (my house is a small house with roof sheet 950sq.ft in 4,5cents of land which is mortgaged in Bank)

I have never asked for help like this, but I have nowhere else to turn at this point. I was doing fine for a long time…until about April of 2020. Also between that time, my only brother passed away due to brain demurrage. Between the unexpected death, I was unable to hold onto my job, unfortunately. Even I am sick since 2019… I am advised surgery for my spinal cord for which I need INR. 2.5 lakhs surgery cost alone also I need bed rest for 6 months. I cannot think about my surgery since I need to take care of my bedridden mom. I have no money to keep a home nurse. Now I am hardly moving around inside the house with the grace of God the almighty. Due to severe back pain and numbness I walk like a baby toddler walk.

I am in a horrible financial situation/ my credit cards are maxed out. I am not able to pay my monthly mortgage, pay my credit card bills, Bank notice worries me.  Where will I take my mother and go once my house is ceased by bank. (I can produce the bank notice upon request)

On Nov 2022 at the age of 22 I started the company named Auto Kings Motor Pte Ltd with the help of my best friend who was way older than me and as he was a man with wonderful plans and ideas and he came in as a partner.I started this company with all my lifetime savings.Everything was going well and I had a satisfaction with what I was doing even though I didn’t focus on the reaping of profits as it was never the intention. With just $100-$150 you can get a supercar joyride experiences for 30-45mins and for a day rental would be around $350/24hrs for a McLaren MP4-12C which is a wonderful deal and it was a success as people started recognizing the company. And once in 2023, we offered a chauffered drive for a wedding for both bride and groom on a Rolls-Royce Ghost for free as they were from a middle-class background and had a dream wedding plan and was short of funds and that’s when I thought okay this is on me. They hesitated but as I insisted they were filled with Joy. My heart was contented when I noticed them overflowing with happiness.

Hearing this lines from my grandparents since childhood it has always been a policy for me. I was a guy who doesn’t have parents since a month old new-born only to be raised by my grandparents with love and affection and with principles.

I didn’t know what to do and I was betrayed i felt so much of pain because all this years i have never thought of even a slightest harm to anyone but when a best friend of 7 years betrayed and left me in deep trouble hurt me so much and I was ordered to be made bankrupt as I couldn’t arrange the funds.

$1200 Burden Is Crushing Me from Achieving My Goal to Pursue Career in Education

Dear kind supporters, I am seeking your help to overcome a financial crisis that is severely affecting my mental well-being and my ability to focus on building a better future.

In 2019, I managed to get a student loan, tenure of 6 years, from a private lender after I submitted the acceptance letter without any collateral. The loan included a 6 months moratorium period. I graduated in April 2023 and with the help from one of my friends, I managed to secure an online data management job in May 2023. Moratorium period ended and I started paying EMIs from November. Everything was going as usual until July this year. I got laid off in July, 2024. With no income, I began crediting my loan account with my savings.
Since then I have actively sought various opportunities, including part-time delivery jobs, to potentially work as a STEM content writer, data manager, etc. but faced a heavily saturated job market with very little to no vacancies. For 2 weeks, I worked as delivery-guy, but the salary was brutally low and pay days were inconsistent in my area. I searched for 3 months, no luck. This financial setback forced me to rethink my career path and focus on long-term goals.

During my undergrad years, I discovered my passion for physics, a subject I find both fascinating and fulfilling. But due to other academic commitments and majoring in a different STEM field, I couldn’t dedicate myself to it fully. Given my circumstances, I’ve resolved to pursue this passion and work towards teaching physics and math at the BSc level. I believe I can excel as an educator on online/offline platforms with focused preparation.
In October, I committed to this plan and while addressing my financial situation, I though I must utilize all of my savings to at least minimize the Principal amount and the interest. That way I could bring everything down as the EMIs were pulling a lot from my savings. So with literally all my savings that I’ve been saving since University days, financial support from my parents and a few relatives, contribution from a very close friend and after selling quite a lot of my personal items, I managed to submit 80% of the amount. This led to the loan being restructured, leaving a remaining principal of approximately $1,200.

However with no savings left, I couldn’t meet the EMIs for November and December. These defaults have drastically impacted my credit score which is not the main thing. Most importantly, how would I pay the next EMIs? My parents, despite their limited means, have supported me as much as they could. I even attempted to secure a loan with collateral (a motorbike), but it was rejected due to its insufficient value, bad credit score and associated risks. My father’s offer to act as guarantor was also rejected given his retired service (job) status and his personal financial constraints.
Feeling overwhelmed and desperate, I have stopped asking my parents and relatives to reduce their burden and try to figure things out independently.

I humbly appeal for your financial assistance. This pending principal has become a huge obstacle, draining my mental energy and focus. My thoughts are consumed with fears of financial consequences after 1 more month of skipping EMI that will push me to a Non-performing asset making things even worse, debts owed to those who helped me the best they could and the looming impact on my future. I cannot focus on my studies which are crucial for achieving my career goals.

I’ve made mistakes, like failing to prepare for financial sustainability during university and delaying my focus on a long-term plan. I’ve learned my lesson the hard way. Time is slipping away and I can’t afford to waste any more of it. I hope you understand.

I’ve always considered myself quite savvy and intelligent. Thinking nobody could easily pull the wool over my eyes. Regrettably they have and in the most calculated spectacular fashion. Unfairly also using their 3 children as part of the evil and dreadfully cruel manipulation.

During the latter part of 2021, my housemate arranged for a builder to quote for refurbishment work on a villa I’d purchased with my inheritance. After meeting Daniel, we were both more than happy he was the perfect guy. A very friendly, no nonsense approach and straight talking handyman who explained everything along the way. He had a lovely wife and a young family too and soon we all became good friends.

Initially, all was happy in camp and the work was progressing rather well. Admittedly as time went by, further necessary work needed became apparent. But after a full explanation being validated by Daniel, I agreed with his recommendation. After all, this was the last property I wanted to live in until my progressive lung disease finally claimed my life. Retiring to a sunnier climate with much better air quality had to be what the good doctor ordered for sure. Plus physically, I could tell my body was already really starting to feel the benefits.

Daniel and my housemate then appeared to be developing a rather different relationship than before. Any interaction between them was now terribly giggly, somewhat secretive and sometimes openly extremely flirtatious too. To be honest, I had my concerns because I didn’t want this to be disruptive to the work. But in reality, I was becoming very concerned how this would develop and what effect it could have on his family. Then out the blue, I was clearly made aware by Daniel one day, that my housemate was eagerly engaging in conversations with a few local men on Tinder while spending hours of time up in her room.

Progressively and quite rapidly, things then went out of control. Emily had developed an all consuming obsession with Daniel. Texting him excessively all through the day and also the night. The time was of no consequence and could be at any hour. Plus a lot of her messages were quite sexual and very graphic too. I only know this, as Daniel decided to share some of them with me in confidence. Her relationship with me turned somewhat sour and she also started to show worrying aggression in my direction too.

Then the bomb went off. After returning from a trip out together in his car. There was clearly a bad atmosphere between Emily and Daniel. Later I’d discover she’d made unwanted sexual advances towards him and he’d rebuffed her. This wasn’t really surprising to me as I felt he’d encouraged it with the outrageous flirting between them. By now, his wife was aware of all the text conversations and the whole situation was a real mess. Emily’s focus needed to be distracted and that had to happen fast to benefit everyone.

Shortly after this, she met a Nigerian guy called Santos off Tinder. A relationship developed but her infatuation with Daniel didn’t subside. The excessive text messages persisted and she turned very volatile towards me. Daniel and his wife Vanessa, expressed concern over my welfare and Emily’s intentions towards me. The stress of everything had created a flare up in my lung condition as well and I hadn’t felt well for weeks on end. It was suggested I move to another villa Daniel had bought as a fixer upper. This would give me time to recover and alleviate any threat towards me. So I did agree to the idea and moved out for a few weeks.

During this period, concerns for Emily’s behaviour grew increasingly. It was apparent she’d developed some worrying mental health issues which in my opinion required specialist treatment. Between myself, Daniel and Vanessa we considered it beneficial for her to return to the UK. It was decided that Daniel would discuss this with her and suggest the idea. With quite considerable reluctance and financial incentive she finally agreed.

Unknowingly at the time, this was a calculated and very manipulative plan compiled by Daniel, Vanessa and his other associates. I’d been singled out and targeted by a group of scammers. Emily needed to go because they knew I held all the purse strings. With her out the way, they could gang up on me. This they achieved by having an insider at my bank. Associates of his moved into the villa across the road from me. At house parties, other scammers would put up a great pretence and be exceptionally friendly. Even their parents were in on it. The whole thing was a real family concern, including their kids.

To cut a long story short, I’ve lost everything at the hands of these vile people. My home, all my finances and all my belongings too. I considered them good friends and got to know the family, well in excess of 2 years. So they played the very long game with me. They took me under their wing and made me feel an important and welcome friend. My own family has been broken up as a consequence. I lived alone with my 3 cats and 2 dogs but for quite obvious reasons found myself in considerable debt with my rent. Luckily a friend has given myself and the cats a roof over my head. But my 2 dogs have been in kennels with an extended friend ever since and I miss them dreadfully every single day. I just need the opportunity to rebuild my life and my priority is to have us all living back together once again.

It’s taken a lot for me to do this and ask for assistance from people. I’ve never been in this situation before and it’s exceptionally difficult for me. Having always been so self sufficient and totally independent with savings in the bank. Regretfully, not anymore and being completely broke doesn’t sit comfortably with someone like me. It will take some time and a lot of effort to get back to any sort of normality. I’m 30 years old man who is from South Korea.

I grew up with a personality called feminine (From a spiritual perspective, we call it ‘Devine feminine’) according to conservative social wisdom.

I used to dance in front of my school teacher and friends since I was young, and I like to draw, and I was very active and creative student.

But maybe because of my feminine personality and behavior, my school days were not smooth.

When I was in 6th grade in elementary school, it was time to go home after all the classes, but I couldn’t see my shoes pocket, so I asked my homeroom teacher for help.

 

I’m writing this now, but I’m crying lol.

 

I don’t remember how long it’s been, but the teacher came into the classroom with a wet shoes pocket. Then, my teacher called the students who kept bothering me and told me to stay in the classroom after class, and after classes, teacher finally found a person who threw my shoes pocket into the toilet.

 

Also, I had the experience of getting spit on my face during PE when I was in middle school, and that’s when I felt humiliated for the first time.

 

I didn’t participate in P.E. class often on purpose because I was afraid that my friends would tease me for not being good at sports, and as a result, my physical education grades and athletic ability were really weak compared to my peers.

 

One day, when I took off my clothes to wash my school uniform at home and gave it to my mother, she was angry, saying, “What is this behind your clothes, who scribbled it?”

 

It was so hard because there were many strong friends who bullied me like this.

 

I had a friend(who is a girl) who has been bullied, and I started being bullied because I was close to her, and the level of bullying increased, and I was so afraid of school and even thought of suicide. Now that I think about it, the school days that I was alienated seem to affect my great anxiety now.

 

In addition, my father is a police officer who used to show scenes of fighting with my mother, not love, and only hurt me with violence.

When I was in my second year of college (about 20 years old), I had a task to make a magazine using Adobe Illustrator as a major in digital fashion design.

I often stayed up all night working on the slow computer I got from my uncle, and I was almost exhausted when I went to school.

 

Then one day I came into my room to see if my mother was playing a game with the door closed and got mad out of the blue. So I told her I was doing homework on my computer because of my assignment, but she got mad thinking she couldn’t communicate with me anymore. Then she came in with a long stick in the living room and tried to hit me.

 

And when I screamed and rebelled, she bring her husband, my father.

 

Now I’m telling you, the memory of this time was so shocking to me and I didn’t remember the order before and after because what I’m writing now might not exactly match the situation at the time.

 

I hit my head several times on the desk in front of my mother because I couldn’t bear it. Soon after, red blood flowed from my head, and I was so overwhelmed with extreme anxiety that I couldn’t stop crying like a severely ill patient.

 

Then my mother cried and hugged me, saying she was sorry, but I can’t remember if this was before and after I was severely scolded by my father.

 

What I’m trying to say now is the biggest thing I’ve ever been scolded by my father in my life, and I remember being scolded for doing something similar to what I just said.

 

My mother taught couldn’t communicate with me, so she brought my father and he suddenly hit me, and I was thrown on the floor, rolled, and was so scared that I peed without realizing it.

 

Unconsciously, I’m preparing for a school fashion show in a state of anxiety that remains too much of a trauma, and I’m starting to feel very uncomfortable and weird with the feeling that I’m not what I used to be, like the screws are missing.

 

At the same time, I’ve almost completely lost interest in what I had before, to the point where I can’t remember what I like.

 

 Having focused almost exclusively on academics without playing, I initially tied for fourth place out of 100 and received a scholarship, but then my grades gradually dropped.

 

From this point on, I began to feel completely disconnected from the world, and I began to live a life that seemed to be separate from my ego.

 

Not only did I grasp the flow of the world, but I was also not interested in my favorite artist, Lady Gaga and my idol Alexander McQueen.

 

I joined the army with all these anxieties and fears, and as expected, my military life was very difficult.

 

After three challenges, I worked as an auxiliary police officers through an 11:1 competition ratio, blocking various protests, and working for traffic safety, as well as security at embassies like United States, China, and Japan.

Then, I got a job as a salesperson at a direct-run Fila store, worked for a year and a half, collected my severance pay, and went to Lochcarron, Scotland, which was engraved on a scarf given by my grandfather, and traveled to Europe to see Alexander McQueen’s documentary film in London.

 

I didn’t get a job as a designer at the time because sales were easy and fast to enter, and I didn’t want to work in a design room in Korea full of copies.

 

After that, I originally wanted to work as a designer, which was my dream, but I couldn’t find anywhere I wanted to go, and I applied because I wanted to work at Alexander McQueen’s store, but I had no experience in luxury sales, so it was difficult to get a job.

 

That was 2019, when I met my boyfriend, who had lived in Russia, while playing games. Now that I think about it, I think I and he were in a relationship that was intertwined with Karma.
