I’m a young girl from a small rural area who was raised by a single mother who had nothing much but love.We lost our father back in 2010 and our mother did all she could for me and my 2 younger siblings till year 2020 when she had a stroke that left her disabled (left side not working) I had to jungle between school, nursing her and taking care of my younger siblings.As difficult as it was seeing her alive no matter her condition gave me hope that one day things will get better. Unfortunately she passed on in 2022 and a huge part of me died with her, I had to mother my younger siblings till this day.

Saying it’s difficult is an understatement. I’m trying, I’ve been trying with little I got from piece jobs that I last had 2years back. It’s hard😭 I’m pleading with anyone who can donate no matter how small it is I’ll highly appreciate and it will go a long way.

Struggling Mother of Two

Good day.I am a Zimbabwean mother of two seeking assistance to improve my life.I had been with the father of children for 12 yrs in a common law relationship when he decided to marry another woman legally leaving me and the children to suffer.As it is we can barely feed.I am a teacher by profession but struggling to find a job in South Africa as we relocated from Zimbabwe hoping for a better future.Now my wish is to migrate to the UK or USA but the challenge is cash to process required documents.Have been applying for visa sponsorship without luck.Am now planning to relocate via Nursing apprenticeship but still I need cash for flight,medical exam,police clearance etc…which amounts to around £10000 .The USA option is also not viable considering I need $18 000 to apply for the EB3 visa.I am asking for financial help from well wishers.I believe I have potential because I have received interview invitations after sending my cv only to be turned down once I inform them am not physically in the USA.Am willing to be loaned money to pay back once I settle down.Thank you for your help in advance.

Desde 2018, la ONG DE GRACIA RECIBISTEIS es más que un refugio para madres solteras y niños huérfanos. Ha sido un faro de luz en la oscuridad para aquellos que no tienen a dónde ir, un espacio donde no solo se encuentra consuelo y apoyo, sino también una oportunidad para cambiar sus vidas para siempre. A lo largo de estos años, hemos contado con el apoyo de muchas personas de buen corazón que han entendido la importancia de elevar esta parte más vulnerable de la sociedad. Tenemos registros de nuestras actividades, de las donaciones que hemos recibido y de las visitas de figuras importantes que han recorrido nuestras instalaciones, conmovidos por el impacto que estamos causando.

Pero hay una realidad que nos duele profundamente: no tenemos suficientes patrocinadores para cubrir todos los gastos del Centro. Desafortunadamente, muchos de nuestros estudiantes continúan enfrentando la incertidumbre de un mañana desconocido. Sabemos que aprender un oficio es mucho mejor que vivir en dependencia de otros. Por eso, a pesar de todas las dificultades, hemos matriculado a más de 1.000 alumnos. Cada niño, cada madre, representa una historia de lucha, de superación y de esperanza. Y lo hacemos, a pesar de todo, porque creemos firmemente que el conocimiento es la herramienta más poderosa para cambiar sus vidas.

Hoy nos enfrentamos a un reto aún mayor: necesitamos renovar uno de los edificios de la escuela, pero nos faltan meses de recursos, sillas para los alumnos, pizarras y tantas otras herramientas básicas que hacen posible la educación. A pesar de estos desafíos, continuamos ofreciendo inscripción gratuita porque sabemos que no podemos dar la espalda a quienes más nos necesitan.

HELP ME TO KEEP MY HOME

I have been living in this house for ten years after I got divorced from my late husband in 2005, who left me and my one son with nothing, giving all his money to his family (brothers and sisters). After my divorce I have been renting from place to place and stayed in five different places from 2006 to 2014.  I decided to buy a house for us in 2014 staying there for ten years now. I retired recently with no pension/provident fund whatsoever because I worked for an NPO. My life just changed overnight as I was sitting with a problem and could not afford to pay my mortgage bond. I am now in arrears with $3500 and a full balance of $14000. I cannot afford to pay anymore, and the bank wants their money and threatened to put my property on auction by October 2024. I am devastated and don’t know what to do anymore. I was searching the internet for help and found your page. If I should lose my home, I will have nowhere to go and is desparately in need of help.  I recently started doing online work from home for an income but with no success, still waiting on companies to pay me. It’s been a long winter

Six months ago I packed up my son and cat and moved cross country from a very bad nasty situation to start a new life. Truth be told it was the best decision I could have  ever made for us. And in so, I’m asking your help please.

My son has Asperger’s and that makes things difficult sometimes because he’s different from your regular kid. This break has helped him come out of his shell. I see him smile these days and that makes it all worth it.

So here we are in this new town and things are super tough right now as we don’t know anybody and have no family.

I have fallen behind on all my payments and rental. The collectors are now threatening to repo and take legal action. Food and essentials are nearly finished and I’m at a loss of what next steps to take. Our cat has not had food since yesterday and I’m freaking out. She’s such a loving soul, been purring and giving me loves thinking I’m about to haul out a new bag of food. It’s hectic. I tried giving her ground beef but she won’t eat it.

I had to sell my laptop two months ago which was the worst thing to ever happen as I normally freelance on Upwork. I am using my sons PC now which is old but it still does the job. Only thing is I don’t have any money to buy more connects which are necessary to bid for jobs on the platform. It’s essential that I get more connects like yesterday to find work.

Im feeling in over my head. $7000 in debt and freaking out a bit. But I do know a new contract can fix this mess.

All I need is some food and connects for Upwork to find a new contact and sort things out.

  • Hello, I am a single mother and sole carer of my  Autistic 7 year old daughter.  Just a little bit of background for your understanding.  My Daughter was diagnosed with Autism at the age of three, she is non verbal but has full physical ability. She is currently in a special needs school In Ghana Accra and she is doing very well and has made enormous amounts of progression since joining the school a year ago. We are living in an apartment which I was able to work and save for the years rent. Unfortunately my mother who used to help me with my daughter in order for me to work full time became extremely ill December 2023. Since then I have had to manage single handidly reducing me to less work hours as I could now only work whilst my daughter was in school. With my mother no longer able to assist me as she has to put her health as priority. The hours has only allowed me to provide enough for food and bills and transport to and from school.  Without the support of my mother I was unable to work the hours needed to save enough for my next years rent. Here in Ghana we have to pay rent yearly and I simply do not have enough saved to renew my tenancy or move to new accommodation.  So I have come here today as i am in need of £6000  to pay for another years rent here in Ghana to secure a home for my daughter for another year. My yearly  rent in my currency is about 114000ghc which is equivalent to about £6000. I need help to secure this accommodation so I can continue to work to support myself and keep working and my daughter can continue her schooling without any disruption. My tenancy is up end of September and I have exhausted all options and tried to get help from whomever I know but unfortunately I have not been successful.  I came across this website whilst on YouTube looking for ways I could possibly raise this money in less than a month and I came across the recommendations for this website. So I am here to see if I will be fortunate enough to receive help via this method. Seeking funds to start uber driving and keep us going

Good day

I am currently unemployed and live at home with an elderly parent and baby brother. I often do online jobs, but they do not come easy or don’t pay much at all. I’m asking for funding so I can fix up our car and start as an uber driver. I have the required driver’s licence to transport passengers and received my police clearance certificate. Our car has been standing around for months, so it needs a new car battery, tyres, licence disc and a wire that was cut.

Urgent need for assistance

I am a man that is 34 years old age residing in South Africa, although I am Zimbabwean by origin. I have an urgent need I need assistance with which is my mortgage amongst other loans I took during my business dealings. Those loans made me to rush my family from the previous place we were staying as loan sharks were coming after their money.

 

I just got a mortgage which started repayments in February this year, and My business has been low. I am in Road construction and plant hire, although I do not own any plant I work as a broker, brokering between end user and owner of plant.
