Well you know that saying that goes when it rains it pours. Well it feels like a Tsunami happened to me. I just haven’t yet been taken completely out. I’m a college student who is doing everything they can to possibly pay for their classes out of pocket. I’m actually taking my education seriously. I have a passion for people. I try to help them any way I can. Thats why I’m studying Psychology so I can help what people can’t see, what’s inside of themselves. I was diagnosed with stage two cervical cancer and it felt like my life was a joke, I was beyond devastated . I’m still young so I was forced to dramatically change my life when I was just starting to get on my feet and enjoy life. I had no choice but to quit my job because the side effects of the radiation made me so sick and tired that I couldn’t work for months. I recently got a new job which is good but because I was struggling to find work for so long, I’m struggling. I recently renewed my lease in my apartment. I have been living here for three years. This time when I renewed my lease my rent went up and my leasing office didn’t tell me that was going to happen when I went to my leasing office to renew my lease. I’m a part time uber driver and I actually love it. I love to meet new people, hear their stories and meet new positive people. unfortunately I’m still not making enough money. Right now my life feels so frustrating. I’m in college studying Psychology and Business because that is one of my passions. I’m trying to get my welding certification so that I can make more money to pay for school more easily. I am here humbly typing this message out today in hopes that there is someone out there who can help me in the deepest and most helpful way. Discovering financial freedom and balance.
I grew up with lower middle class parents who raised 4 children (I am the youngest of them). While they did give us a roof over our head and the best care they could what they did not educate us on was the importance of having finances in order, credit score importance, nor did we have any savings to have a head start in life. They were both factory workers living paycheck to paycheck doing their best. I was the first of their kids to get accepted and attend college which I am very proud of. However, this was done without anyone else’s financial support. Now that I am out on my own in the adult world I find myself drowning in debt. Student loans, credit cards to stay afloat, payday loans at times just to be able to eat for the week. I am in complete despair bringing me to this very page I am using to connect with others on that may have the means to literally change my life. I am not someone who is irresponsible or who would not be able to manage money outside of debt. I am someone in debt trying to make a better life for myself and my future family when I have one to be able to provide more than what my parents were able to. To do better for my family, myself, and give back to the world. But with the amount of student debt I have I am never able to even get at an even level to breathe nonetheless save for my future. I am grippingly trapped by this debt.
It was even harder when COVID shut down to keep up with this debt. Last year I worked 5 jobs working nonstop to try to get ahead and all that did was get me burnt out. I was and am fried from trying to get above this debt at this point. I am doing everything I can with every resource available to get this sorted. Including reaching out here to you today.
Currently my total debt is near $50,000 and this is after I have spent some years paying down what I have been able to up to this point. I am here begging whoever has the open eyes and heart to help to PLEASE HELP. You have no idea how much this would change my life to be able to get passed this debt and start fresh. I’m requesting $20,000 so I can pay off my credit cards, and a loan on my 401k .
I’ve looked for loans however the monthly payments are too high.
The program I’m in now will erase all my credit cards through a law firm , the problem is they want to dispute my creditor’s and I don’t make any payments this will put my accounts in default and in collections dropping my credit score even more than it is now.
The only reason I got so behind was to help my mom after she had lost her husband, at that point I was working knights which pays more at my place of work, walking to work 45 mins got tiresome quickly so I moved closer to work a 20 min walk or less. Then transferring to the day shit for health reasons lowered my pay. And the rent too the new place kept me from paying off credit cards, while making minimum payment are keeping all accounts in good standards, I made the mistake of getting to many cards too many payments and now can’t afford all payments and bills and rent.
My primary goal is to pay off all creditors keeping accounts in good standards bring my credit score back up to 700 points and stop using the cards on a regular basis, the idea of getting more cards was to capitalize on the overall amount on the cards but this has been a fullish financial decision but a lessons learned the hard way.
This program Im in is not a good idea but hopefully only temporary solution, tell I can find the funds needed to get me out of the mess I created.
I have tried to advance at work for a pay raise but this can not happen because of my mental condition which effects the memory and recall, I have had to deal with this since the age of 3 when missed diagnosed slowing down the brain activity during growth, I’m now 45 of age and learned to adapt. I have not cashed in on any of the benefits I’ve been told I should be getting during the testing and diagnosed with a type of dementia. This has also kept me from driving, so finding a better paying job is limited to distance.
I am able to work full time at Walmart, 10 years now, very few coworkers know about this disability, IV been able to shield it from others,
I’m still looking forward to doing the work I’ve been trained for in apartment maintenance however that was a long time ago in a different state and a lot has changed over the years in that field of work.

Losing our home
I am writing today with a mixture of shame and desperation as I consider how to compose this humble request for assistance at a challenging time for my family.
Simply put, we find ourselves faced with some difficult choices, facing homelessness in 2024.
Why is this happening? A simple request from our landlord, who has informed us that they wish to sell the flat we live in. The problem we face, after years of paying market rents, supporting the children and now with living cost increases, is that all of our savings are long gone.
Now that current rents have climbed beyond what we pay at present, it is uncertain how we will continue to afford to live near the kids’ school and our support circle.
After a lot of thought, research and seeking advice from friends and professionals it makes better sense for our future security to try to buy our own home. However, with rent the way it is now we have no hope of rebuilding our savings to help buy even the cheapest home for all of us.
That’s why I am reaching out to any kind souls who can aid us with the financial “leg up” needed to raise a deposit to help achieve our dream and secure a new home for my family.
On a basic family sized house, we have been advised that at least £35,000 would be needed to secure a mortgage repayment that matches our current monthly rent. To me that sum looks like a mountain I will never be able to climb. The figure is a lot to ask for, especially when there is nothing material for the givers in return apart from heartfelt honest thanks and gratitude.
As one friend put it, £35,000 is a lot to ask from one person, but 35000 people donating a spare £1 is nothing by comparison.
It is a good cause, you would be helping to provide security for a family who cannot realistically provide it for themselves, despite working hard and living as cheaply as they can.
Time is short however, we have only until spring next year and then we will be obliged to leave our home.
Any contribution would represent a positive step towards achieving financial stability and guaranteeing the safety and comfort of our family. Any financial assistance, regardless of the amount, would be profoundly appreciated and go towards making a significant impact on our lives.

Hello my name is Terry I am 63 years old on SSDI . I broke my neck back in 1983 when I dove into Lake Lanier in Gainesville Ga ! I was 23 at the time . I grew up near the lake a I was crazy about the water . I enjoyed skiing and scuba diving . I dove 3 feet off the water I heatbthe bottom of the lake . I cracked. C5 C6 and chursed C7 in on my spinel cord ! I stood up walked out if the water with my head pushed down and laying on my rite shoulder . I told my 2 friends to take me to the hospital . I was sent to the VA hospital in Decator Ga . The pain was severe. Some how by the grace of God the surgeon did a fusion from my hip to my neck to re build the verabra in my neck between my shoulder blades . 49 dsys in the hospital and I w as able to stand up and walk again . My life had changed I walked around with a halo that held my head up to allow the fusion to heal ! After 12 months I was able to stray back to work . I was a welder and a Iron worker ! I worked in Atalanta building buildings and welding . 1986 I was walking across a building that a company who had set the Joist that supported the tin that supported the roof of the building set the bar joist off the center mark where the joists woukd support the roof I stepped on to the unsupported tin and I fell 25 feet landing on the concrete below. I landed on my rite hip and my rite hand . I dislocated the bones in my wrist and busted my hip ! I went through more surgery ! When I was able to return to work . My wife decided she wanted a divorce . The divorce sent me into a cocaine addiction ! I was able tonover cone the addiction in 2000 . After getting. Busted in 1999 . I took a job in South Ga and was a way from where my addiction was . I went to work and focused on the jobs we where doing and never looked back at the addiction that had destroyed my life and put me and everyone in and around me through the. Hell a addiction puts someone and the people that cared about the person who is addicted . My life had been full of lies pain guilt and self hate that I had as a life that I had lived through ! I was put on probation For 4 years and I stayed clean . I had a. Daughter with a woman in 1997 ! And she called me up and told me she wanted me to have our child who was age 3 ! I went and got my daughter and was hell bent on taking care of my daughter . I worked seven dsys a week but I had a baby sitter who watched my daughter and was a blessing to me and my child. Courtney is my daughter . I worked through out the 23 years after getting of the cocaine. Courtney moved out of my home at 17.5 she had some misdirected anger toward me is what her counselor had told me because of her mother pushing her put of her life at age 3 . She went back to live with her mother and 30 dsys later moved In with her boy friend his brother and daddy . My mind was blown . I had never met the boy friend . Courtney had been going to her mother’s and had been seeing this dude for 2 5 years behind my back. I had talked to Courtney about her dating and I wanted to meet the boy before she went out with him so I woukd know what and who my daughter was going out with ! Courtney would tell me she was not interested in boys at this time in her life . That she wanted to get her education and a job started before she found herself a man to spend her life with ! She knew that was what i wamted to hear . I was in Washington state working when I got a phone call and Courtney told me she was dating a guy for the passed 2 years when she was going ronher mothers telling me she was baby sitting her sisters kids. I told her to just go level with her mother seance that is who is determining her life for her ! My life has had so many ups and downs it has truly been hard to hang on after all the set backs I have faced. 2018 . I was diagnosed with Hip C and I was treated at the VA in Decatur Ga . Once again they saved my life ! I went on SSDI after working through out my life after. The broke neck . I an confused as to why I am still here on thus earth after surviving all I gave been through. Today I have a house I have bought and I have more bills than I can pay with the SSDI check I recivee each month ! Hello everyone. It was hard for me to come here, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I am in URGENT need of assistance because I’ve reached my absolute limit at this point..
You see, I come from a family that I’ve had to take care of for just about my entire life.. The main cause for this were my 2 disabled brothers with autism. Ever since I was about 14 or 15, I had to really step up to the plate when it came to them since my father left. My blindsided mother struggled very much, as she now had to care for all 4 of us by herself while dealing with her own health challenges as well. The situation took a huge toll on our family as a whole. With that in mind, I knew that I had to be the one to make up for the difference, so I pretty much became the main support beam because I didn’t wanna see my mother & brothers suffer. As I result, I had to completely sacrifice my life since then just to keep the balance in my family, & it still goes on even to this very day (I’m 30 now) since my mother still can’t afford help for my brothers..
On top of all this, I’m also helping to support a close friend of mine who has been struggling since Covid, so that’s put even more financial pressure on me.. I currently work a back-breaking, part time job that gets me nowhere.. It’s the only job that I can afford to work though since I have no car & it’s close by. Between this job & caregiving for my brothers, I usually have very little energy to give to anything else.. I tried online school for a bit, but couldn’t keep it up due the daily burdens & distractions of my family. I now owe school loans as well..
The very fact that all this effort I’ve been putting in over the years still isn’t enough is beyond depressing… Looking back, I often feel vastly cheated out of life since I completely gave up mine & missed out on so much that I wanted, such as Love & personal projects that I wanted to accomplish.. I did what I had to do for my family & all, but I still believe that I deserve a chance at life too. Why God would put such a burden on me? I honestly don’t know, but it’s often driven me to point where I start contemplating suicide, which saddens me deeply..
Although I’ve managed doing it all this time, I’m now at my breaking point & my soul is tired.. That’s why I’m here reaching out to the internet. I’ve had to constantly be everyone else’s savior all throughout my life, both inside & outside of family.. I have been struggling so much in regards to asking for some assistance with the current situation I a dealing with in my life now. No matter how humiliated, violated, less than smart, alone, sad and depressed I feel at this very moment; I heard a voice while I was sleeping, that urged me to get on this website and explain why I am in this horrible situation.
I am a single mother with a son in his first semester of college. I work a full time job, but needed to earn some extra money, because everything falls on me. About three weeks ago, an advertisement was sent to my cell phone in regards to earning extra money and that’s when my entire life was turned upside down!! The advertisement stated that this company will pay people (me) to advertise the company’s energy drink product on my car via getting it wrapped by a car wrap specialist. I called myself doing my due diligence by researching the company online. Sure enough, it was a legitimate company selling various energy drink products, so I responded to the advertisement. Two weeks go by and then I get a message from Ryan Smith (Auto Wrap Campaign Manager) stating that the company is sending me a package in the mail explaining the process and how to start earning money after getting my car wrapped.
I received my package with instructions on what I have to do in order to start making some extra money. Everything still seemed legit from the name of the company on the packaging, the instruction letter and the cashier’s check in my name (yes, every time I think about this situation, I feel horrible and truly less than smart for allowing myself to fall victim to this fraud scam). The Cashier’s Check was to cover me getting both of my car doors wrapped with the energy drink logo (I pay the Car Wrap Specialist) and my first week’s pay from the 12 week campaign this advertisement was for. I actually spoke to Ryan on the phone several times, which assisted with me still believing that this advertisement car wrap campaign was real.
Needless to say, I fell for what my mom said to me a long time ago….if something seems to be too good to be true, don’t believe that it is!! I didn’t realize that I was being scammed, because I was desperately trying to earn some much needed extra money for me and my son and now I have a bank account that is largely overdrawn by almost $6,000. I am truly embarrassed to even say that in this plea. I did report this fraudulent scam to my banking institution and I also filed a police report. Unfortunately for me, I know neither will be able to get the money back.
When I stated above how this entire ordeal has turned my life upside down; I meant every word! I have been praying to God for some guidance during this time and beyond. My faith is strong and I have learned a valuable life lesson during this ordeal. I have to just pray and wait on God always!! If I don’t pray and ask for guidance first, there is always a chance that I will get burned just like I did in the above situation.

Help my friend avoid being homeless
I am trying to raise $1,500 -$2,000 to pay for an extended stay hotel for a disabled friend. I am not able to house him in my own home and have already paid to keep him in the hotel for a week.

I am an immigrant who came from a Caribbean island to the states on my own to have a better life.
Since recently, Life has gotten be down a bit. Working Pay check to pay check, not being able to save a dime because of all the bills I have to pay on a monthly basis, which includes rent, utilities, food, credit card bill and also 2 loans that I have been paying for the past year. I also, help my mother back home in Jamaica the best I can financially.
I have been in the states for over 5 years and never gotten the chance to save for a car , which would benefit me so much…but I am not able to do that until I am able to pay off my 2 loans and credit card bill.
