I’m a hard-working man with rheumatoid arthritis. I recently fell and broke my prosthesis (left hand), which I need to live a normal life and to work. Now I’m facing an unexpected financial hardship, and I need 600 euros to cover the cost of my medical bills.

I’ve tried to get an advance on my salary from my employer and a loan from my bank, but I’m not eligible because I’m still new to my job. I’m only three months into my new role, and I’m not covered by the company’s medical insurance policy until I’ve been an employee for six months.

I’m willing to pay back the money in two installments: 300 euros in two weeks (November 1st) and 300 euros in six weeks (30th of November). I’m a responsible borrower, and I’m also a generous person. I will say this is definite not the norm for me but right now I feel I do not have a choice. My story: I got married in 1980 to a wonderful woman, the love of my life. All was great up until Dec of 2005 when my wife filed for a divorce. This came as a shock to me because I thought everything was going well, boy was I wrong and after 35 years of marriage, we were now divorced. No infidelity or abuse of any kind just some bad business decisions on my part that resulted in losing our home of 18 years. There is a whole story there but way too long to tell here, I’m sure. At any rate the divorce was really hard on me and our family, but I understood why and had to live with it. Fast forward 5 years and we decided to get back together even though I moved to another state for work, but I did tell my former spouse that I would only do it if I was able to buy her another house to which I did April of 2022. I really felt I owed her that because of losing her home the way I did. Again, it is a whole other story. My former spouse was a special needs asst for 30 years and retired a year and half ago and moved to the city where I purchased our new home. But now I am in jeopardy of losing this home also. I was able to buy this home because of the sales position I had with a local distribution company. For the last year that company has been slowly going away because of the bad dealings of the new owners owing multiple vendors and me not getting paid what I was when I bought the house. I started to get behind on all my bills including my house payment to which I was able to do a forbearance with the bank. My forbearance ended the beginning of this month, and I received a letter stating that I need to pay 6 payments I was behind ($13,000), or my home will go into foreclosure. During the forbearance I was making payments when I could, but it just got away from me. I was told that the bank will work with me to bring the account current, but it seems that is not true. Now I am concerned that once again I will lose my best friend because of this, maybe I won’t this time, but I definitely don’t want to lose this house that we have built into our home for our remaining years. Again, this is not something I am used to doing but I am at my wits end here. Please any help would be appreciated. Sincerely thank you… P.S. Bills and groceries money needed

Hello,

My husband is a truck driver. He’s the only provider at home since I’m disabled. My social security is $1100 a month which isn’t nearly enough to cover small bills. His work has been very sporadic and now his truck broke down. It’s going to be $2000 to fix it but we don’t have the money for it. Also, if he doesn’t work, he doesn’t get paid. Plea for Help to Rebuild My Life After Legal Struggles and Health Challenges

In February 2020, I lost my job due to a chronic illness which, in my opinion, did not hinder me from working. My employer had a medical assessment done, and on the basis of the medical board, I was relieved from my duty on medical grounds. I suffer from chronic voice loss, but I am glad to say that in the last year, I have regained my voice after 2 years of endless doctor and specialist visits, depleting all my savings. I did not receive any compensation from my employer as they advised that the company insurance policy I was covered under had rejected the employer’s claim thus leaving me without any financial assistance. Over the years I have depleted my savings on medical bills and legal fees, lost my car and ultimately my home. During this period, I not only relied on legal services but also made attempts to meet with the CEO of the company I was employed at, went to our Department of Labour, the ministerial department in the government overseeing my organization, the Department of Disability, met with my Insurance company to understand why my claim was rejected, and nothing and no one could come to my rescue. RESCUE A MEDICAL PRACTICE THAT HELP THE NEEDY

I have established a general medical practice that offer services during normal and after hours . I employ six people , all responsible bread winners of their families , among them : a widow with children , an adopted child and single parent .The prospect of the future look promising , the numbers of our new consultations have multiply exponentially in the past six months . The quarter of our patients are very needy and they are of different ethnicities . I see , every week , orphans , widows , retired teachers and nurses as well as immigrants and  I have to help a number of these patients for free .I work daily till late hours in the nights , 7/7 days a week .I find myself multitasking to avoid the cost of hiring a helping doctor or even a practice manager .With the free services ,I incur substantial losses on the consumables and drugs used during procedures like analgesics , anesthetics , other injectables and intra veinous infusions , orthopedics equipment .I have been many times unable to draw a salary for myself  to the point of incurring arrears on my children school fees ( my11 year old son and 9 years old daughter ) .I have, so far ,not been able to incorporate a dispensing unit in the practice . The feasibility study we conducted shows that this will significantly improve the practice revenue and sufficiently produce positive margin of income to cover all our liabilities and move us forward .I can not source funding from financial institutions because of our current loan of our medical equipment. Family Facing Eviction

Hello. I am a mother of 3 young children 9,6,&4. I am currently facing eviction if I don’t pay $3479 by 5:30 pm tomorrow (Friday, October 21st). I am having a hard time because everything is getting expensive, while wages are staying the same. My rent increased by $250 back in June and since then I have been struggling to pay it every month. I am currently attempting to build a business, however, while still working a full-time job and having young children (two of them are currently homeschooled) it’s tough to invest time into building it and managing the rest of my life. I try my best thought. I have yet to get clients but I know if I keep working at it, they will come.  Ideally, $7,227 would help because I could also pay November’s ($1436)rent and pay off a savings loan that I currently have. Homeless 19 year old with dogs

Hello, my name is Tracy Simon, and I want to start off by truly thanking the person or persons that take the time out to read this message, as this is coming straight from my heart.  I’m so appreciative to any and all help that is provided to me.

I live as a single Mother/ Grandmother of my 2 precious grandkids, whom I love and adore very much.  My 28 year old daughter and 5 year old granddaughter live with me in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment.  I was originally living in my apartment by myself,  until both my daughters whom were living in their own apartment together had to leave suddenly due to not being able to afford paying their rent.  I didn’t have room for everyone, so my oldest daughter and granddaughter came with me.  My other daughter and my grandson went to stay with my Mother.  It was tight and not the most comfortable situation for my daughter and granddaughter living with me.  They had to result in sleeping in my living room on my sofa, basically turning that area into a bedroom/ play area for my granddaughter.  Things were getting cluttered and messy after some time, but we were trying to make the best of the situation.  My daughter was working, which was good, and she was helping me with some of the bills at that time.  My granddaughter was going to daycare, which was owned and operated by her other Grandmother. That was helpful to my daughter, as she didn’t have to worry about daycare expenses.  Everything was going ok for the most part, until she lost her job and wasn’t working, and is still unemployed currently.  That put the pressure on me to be put in a position of paying the rent, all the household bills, groceries, supporting my daughter/ granddaughter, and everything else by myself.  I was doing the best I could with paying the bills, even starting doing Uber Eats after working my full-time time job everyday.  The extra money from doing food deliveries was helpful to an extent, but it wasn’t quite enough.  I still got behind in paying rent, getting extentions for the electric bill, my car payment got behind, and I ended up not being able to afford paying my car insurance.  I knew I couldn’t let my car insurance lapse, due to needing it current  and active to allow me to continue doing Uber Eat deliveries.  I began to be stressed, overwhelmed and feeling overly tired from working my full-time job, doing Uber Eats,  and just trying to find any side hustles or gigs to make ends meet.  During this time was right after Covid hit, and the housing market including the rental market increased significantly.  My rent went from paying 1050.00 a month to now paying 1287.00 a month after 1 lease renewal.  I’m up for another lease renewal coming this November.  I’m trying not to renew a new lease again, as I know the rate will go up another 200.00- 250.00 increase.  I’ve applied for the House Choice Voucher Program- Section 8 through the local Housing Authority department and have been waiting since 2019 to receive my housing voucher.  This process of being on the waiting list and on hold, has been extremely duling and disappointing.  I don’t know why for the life of me, this state funded entity that’s supposed to be there to help those in need, would place people in contempt of eviction and becoming homeless before help is given to those that are seriously struggling to pay their rent.  With that being said, I’m in serious need of some financial help.  I’m now behind $2,141.39 in paying rent, in which i received a 3-day notice to pay or vacate the remises.  That’s including this month October’s rent plus all the late fees that’s been adding up from the past 4 months.  I would be so appreciative and highly grateful for $3000.00 to catch me up.  This would put me back at a comfortable place of paying the bills on time.  Hopefully, my daughter will be gainfully employed soon, and she will be able to get back on her feet to taking care of herself and her daughter.  That is my hope and prayer! 🙏🙏  Thank you!!❤️

Eviction Notice for the 29th of October

Hi, I appreciate you taking the time to read my story. I am in a situation where I have an eviction notice if I can get the rest of my rent with is about $1000. I used to have a roommate but one day he just decided to leave and not let me know. Now I can’t pay the rent on my own this month and I need some financial help. I do have a dog that I also have and would love to also keep a roof over her head too. It’s About To Be Dark Thanksgiving & Xmas!!

I never thought this was gonna be my story or ever see myself writing a help me please donation request!!! But this is life and these are the times that are among us. Yes I’m a single mother of 3….Yes I had a good paying job (keyword Had)….Yes I have a house (renting, don’t own)….But an unexpected change of February 2023, uprooted my life and sent me spiraling into survival mode.

My oldest son, great kid, did everything academically that I asked of him, last year of high school got him a Camaro (his dream car), he was coming on from work (he’s a server) and a man fell asleep at the wheel of his car from working a double and smashed into my son who was severely injured. So I had to take off of work on family leave, my company family leave last 3 months including any extensions. My son’s injuries surpassed 3 months of 4 surgeries and rehabilitation. So my leave exhausted and I can’t leave my son so the job terminated me. So I was living off my savings because we all know you can’t get unemployment if your terminated. I fought for unemployment through appeal & they denied me. Long story short savings have  depleted. I paid up my rent til after Xmas with the last of my savings but my utilities, are about to get turned off, electric/heating bill is out of this world, they said they wasn’t able to get someone to come read my meter and when they finally did they said I was on the wrong rate plan and my usual $700 bill (its light & heat together) is Now a whopping $9000, they gave me a $1000 a month payment plan but I just can’t do it, there’s no money coming in, I’m looking for another job but I can’t wait for that and next month I can’t afford the payment plan so we will be in the dark cuz I can’t borrow anymore, everyone is struggling and I can’t even pay people back so what’s the point. Assistance Needed

Been a tough year first I had a divorce then my car was crashed into and I find out that my credit union found fraud on my debit card and cancel it and then my insurance company tried to bill it and they couldn’t and then that my insurance expired which meant I would have to pay for the repairs on my car which was then a total of $8305 three months later I had another crash but this time it was my fault but again I had issues with my car insurance and they didn’t cover my car so now I have to pay for that repair out of my pocket and if I didn’t mention it I’m a lift driver without my car I couldn’t make any money then on top of that I had a heart attack when I got out of the hospital I found out my dog had cancer and I had to put him down my electric bill has gone from $143 a month to over $600 this is due to a flaw in the budget billing that my electric company has they depend on you using less electricity during some parts of the year and they were deferring $300 a month which by the end of the year I’d owe $3600 so they took that amount and divided it by 12 and then added it to the regular bill not to mention now I also have a hospital bill
