Need help with my car

Hi, I really need help.

Im a single mum with 3 children and 2 foster children.

I bought my car 2 years ago second hand, it worked perfect, the best car I ever owned… a year later my car was taken off me by gunpoint…the police found it a week later…to get it back on the road I had to pay $2500…I ended up fixing it and everything was great..

Until 4 months ago, I took it to a mechanic, he charged me $1400 to change the coils and spark plugs… 4 days later while driving the car it stopped working in middle of highway..I had to get a tow truck to bring it home..and its been sitting at the front of my house ever since..

I really need help to raise the money to fix it…

In need of $5,000 to bring our daughters home

My wife and I live in Australia and we had the opportunity to send our daughters to university in North Carolina.  Our eldest daughter, Na’ilah, attends Winston Salem State University.  Na’ilah is studying Sports Science and plans on becoming a Physiotherapist.  She is in the second year of her program.  Our youngest daughter, Nyssa, attends Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.  Nyssa is studying Media and Communications and intends to become a producer or screen writer within the film industry.  In order to get international educational exposure, she applied for an exchange program, for a semester, at UNCW and was accepted in November 2023.  The semester started in January 2024 and ends May 2024.  Having both of our daughters in North Carolina at the same time and paying tuition and fees in USD, has taken a toll on our finances.  We are unable to apply for government student loan assistance as we are permanent residents and not Australian citizens.  Therefore, all education expenses are out of pocket.  In addition, we also have to contend with the conversion rate on our the money.  As a result, we don’t have enough money for plane tickets to bring our daughters back to Sydney.  We are in need of assistance in order to help defray this cost.  If you are able to assist, please do so via the link below.

Help for Mum before she is gone

I am asking for any help with paying for my mums hospital bills and a flight over to see her before she is no longer with us, she was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year ago and has been fighting so hard, she has been through chemotherapy and we thought she was doing so well but sadly it has not help and she has been given 3 months left, I have tried so hard to go see her but with her hospital bills needing to be paid and flight being so expensive I have to ask for help I can not ask help from family as I am the only family she has left. I have never done anything like this before and I am quite scared,

Let me first start with my wife who is an amazing human being and would do anything for anyone and never asked for anything in return. My partner and I live in Australia but her mum and dad live in Brazil, She looks after all of mum and dad’s financially as her mum is in need of constant care and has been put into a nursing home, She works in retail and does so many hours just trying to pay for everything and she is trying so hard to fly to Brazil so she can see her mum and dad before something happens to them, I help with anything I can.
Which is why I have come on here I am asking for help with what ever anyone can so I can fly my wife over to Brazil to see her parents and give them a hug and a kiss, I would also like to help with providing a little more support towards her mums nursing home fees and other hospital bills.

Need help paying education fees

Hello dear people of the internet,

As I read through the pleas of so many of the other good people on the site I think that my troubles are quite small in comparison. If you feel you need to give to anyone else here, than please do so. For a quick summary, I am in need of 5000 dollars to pay the remainder of my tuition by Friday, March 31st or I will be deported.

Currently I’m an immigrant in Australia studying Physics. I’m in my final semester of my Bachelors degree. I’m from Bhutan a developing country in the Himalayas. So far I’ve managed to fund my living and tuition fees,. I’ve worked both part time and cash jobs to make ends meet. However this term I’m short 5000 dollars due to having to help pay for my family’s debts. My father is a traditional painter and his business suffered from some losses during the COVID period and since then we’ve been struggling a little but now in my last semester we haven’t been able to keep up.

Due to my limited visa, it’s difficult to get accepted for any loans, which I had previously been using to help pay the fees in my earlier years. When I began to write this, I felt that my situation was truly dire. I don’t have any wealthy relatives or friends whom I can ask for help. I didn’t know who to turn to and I don’t really know all too much about this. I happened to come across this site from a recommendation by a friend.

In order to make a better pitch, I read through some of the other entrants and felt a tad humbled. I decided to write out a more honest pitch instead. I don’t stand to face anything more than the disappointment and heartbreak of my family, face the poor economic conditions of my home country while trying to pay back loans and debts accrued while pursuing this degree and a great deal of time and money wasted on a degree I’ll fail to complete at the last leg. Although I understand that this is not so bad in comparison to the range of suffering out there, to me it is still terrifying and leaves me with an awful feeling and a heaviness in my heart.

I recognise that my struggles might even be insignificant compared to some of the folks here, and that I’m perhaps a selfish human being for wishing to be helped here. I apologise for the rather mixed and haphazard request I’ve written up and thank you if you’ve spent the time reading it. Despite this I’ll be forever grateful to you if you’d help me in any way you might be able to.

Managing OK, but wishing to Step Up and Flourish! Asking for Help not natural for me, I usually am the one giving.

I am OK with where I am at as my situation has arisen from the Covid Choice Point of Submission or Resistance to the Push for Forced Untested Medicines.  I chose to wait and keep myself free of the experiment as I have been a Natural Ways person for over two decades and although I respected others choice to participate, I lost my Job and my means to pay off my Loans and Credit Cards.  I have accepted I am in this position and have been coping OK with all the debt collectors calls and emails, however I am wishing to change my accommodation from sharing with my sister and her children to a place of my own now that I have finally secured a Permanent Part-Time position with the Bus Company I have been working casually for for the past 14 months.  It has been a long haul to get back on track after the Govt forced Mandates and subsequent employment loss of over 2 years.  I spent the last 3 years helping my sister by caring for her son whilst she worked, as a Nurse, in exchange for cheap accommodation with them.  They do not NEED my help anymore and so I would like to finally get my own life back and get back on track to Independence.  To do this I would need to raise Bond and a Months Rent in Advance plus removalist costs to move. A place that is all inclusive only 4kms from my work (bike riding distance) will be available soon and I will not have enough funds to jump on it in time but it is perfect.  I can even take my cats whom are my life, my loves, my everything.  If anyone can spare some funds to help me reclaim myself and get some personal space to Flourish and regain my Independence I would be so grateful.  But only if it doesn’t take away from your own needs, just those who can spare it without it being of harm.  My total debts are around $25K AUD, I am not asking anyone to pay those for me, but I would appreciate some help with getting into a Rental and Moving which will cost approx $5K AUD.  I am usually the one who gives and has trouble receiving so asking for help is a big shift in Self Worth for me, to believe I am worthy of being helped also.  My paypal me account is   paypal.me/Shizeekwa

Help funding Brain Cancer treatment

My best friend, John, has been diagnosed with a Stage 4 Glial Astrocytoma Tumour (Brain Cancer). It’s a rare form of aggressive brain cancer which currently has no cure. He is only 37 with two young girls (6 and 4).

On top of all the expenses of the many treatments, John and his wife are looking to move closer to the hospital and family as a support network. We are looking for donations to help this happen. I am writing to you with a heavy heart and hope in search of support during a particularly challenging period in my life. My name is Carla and I am a single mother of four wonderful children, currently living in QLD Australia. Unfortunately, four months ago, my partner left us due to having an affair and is now living with this woman in a different town. This abrupt change has left me in a dire financial situation.

Since my partner’s departure, I have been left to shoulder all household expenses, including rent, utilities, car, loan payment and the cost of food, clothes, school fees and sports fees for my children, on my own. To complicate matters further, I have not received any form of child support, which has made it exceedingly difficult to provide for my family’s basic needs. I am currently going through the system to gain child support from my children’s father, this however takes time. It is very heart breaking to know the father of my children can abandon his responsibilities as a father without a care in the world. My children are unaware of the actions their father has made and I am unable to bring myself to tell them as they love and respect their father. They are already dealing with the fact he has walked out on his family, so the last thing they need is more heartache.

I am employed full-time as a Duty manager working day and night shifts but my income is simply not enough to cover our living expenses and the debts that have accumulated over the past few months. I have made every effort to cut costs, manage our budget, and seek additional work, but the financial burden is overwhelming. I am now at a point where I must seek assistance to ensure that my children have a stable home, food to eat, and access to the necessities of life.

It is with a humble heart that I reach out for help. I am in need of rental assistance as I have fallen behind in payments and financial aid. Any support you can provide would be a lifeline for us during this difficult time. My rent is currently $600AUD per week and I am 1 month behind :( My landlord has been very helpful during this difficult time, however rent is still needing to be paid.

For some time now, I have been actively pursuing employment opportunities in the disability and elderly support sector. I have sought support from my family, but they too are facing their own financial challenges and, despite their best intentions, are unable to provide the help I need. Now, I find myself in the unfamiliar and humbling position of being the one in need of assistance.

Flip properties with me

My lifelong friend and I desperately want to flip houses and become self sufficient, not relying on government for payouts. Phill is a carpenter/ joiner by trade , I have interior design skills and am currently doing a real estate course . Unfortunately we do not have the capital to undegow our passion, but have so much incentive it’s really getting us down. Phill has found himself homeless , and I have been a victim of domestic violence so I had to leave my family home , loosing everything. I now live in a commission flat surrounded by drug atticts and people who are always trying to keep you down. If they see your getting ahead and actually are doing ok your car / property will be damaged or stolen. I have a 20 year old son who is being very negatively influenced, he has an intellectual disability and I am very concerned that if we can’t get out of here he will get no where in life.
