Urgent need for help.

To my well wishers. My name is Paxina Shajanika Moatswi I am 33 years old. I am working as a registered nurse. I recently got married last year and my husband and I have two kids.

My husband and I got married in September 2023, few weeks after our wedding my mother in law fell ill and she had to undergo surgery which left us with no choice than to take another loan on top of what we had taken for the wedding, we both had to take loans each for the money to be enough as a result our take home salaries were very low and not enough to pay any bills, I was a student at Texila University doing public health, I had to drop out because we could no longer afford to pay for school fees.

In the long run, we created debts that we are failing to settle, we had to live off from asking from people promising to pay them back when things got back to normal, things are getting harder by day, our landlord is threatening to evict us out of the house if we do not settle rent three months in arreas.

We are being threatened by some of the people we owe as I type this.
Our second child is 11months who is on formula as I have to work, we are failing to buy his milk, diapers and even wipes, my employer has also verbally warned me because I am not as competent as I used to be.

To top it all up, my grandmother is not well and needs medical attention, my husband and I cannot afford that, all we can do is sit and pray for God’s miracle.
I am really not one to ask for money from people but this situation forced me to literally beg for money from people to a point I have exhausted all options and this is my last hope, I tried my best to summarize my story/stories as it is a lot.

I therefore plead with any well wisher that will read my letter and assist me with $10,000 so that I can pay off my small loans and debts and also start a business that will help boost our finances as we wait to clear bank loans.

Please send the money to;

paxinashajanika@gmail.com is my email address thank you🙏.

Helplessly Hoping to find kind souls to help me save my home and kids. I promise to pay it forward!

My name is Sharen, and I find myself reaching out to you today with a heart heavy with both gratitude and desperation. I would have never thought I would have been in such a position. Ive always found it hard to ask for help ;-(

Life has a curious way of testing our strength, and at this moment, my strength is being pushed to its limits. I am a single mother of four beautiful children, and my journey has taken an unexpected turn that I never could have anticipated.

Iam completely broke finding myself in a position of selling whatever I have to survive. My business is on its last leg, I’ve tried applying for jobs but my age doesn’t help me much.

As the sole provider for my family, I have faced numerous challenges, and while I have always done my best to navigate the turbulent waters of life, I find myself now standing on the precipice of a crisis that threatens everything I hold dear.

A series of unforeseen events has led me into a web of debts that has become increasingly difficult to untangle. The weight of financial strain is bearing down on me, and the walls of security around my home are slowly closing in. I am at a crossroads where the possibility of bankruptcy and losing our home looms ominously.

The thought of uprooting my children from the only place they’ve ever known is a heavy burden to bear. The echoes of their laughter in these walls, the memories we’ve woven into the fabric of this home – it’s not just a structure, but a sanctuary for my family. The idea of losing it is a heart-wrenching prospect that keeps me awake at night.

It is with great humility that I turn to you, our extended community, for support. I am reaching out to request your assistance in navigating these stormy seas. Your kindness and generosity could make a world of difference in preserving the stability and security that my children deserve.

I understand that times are tough for many, and every dollar is hard-earned. Your consideration, no matter the amount, will be a beacon of hope for my family. I am not just asking for financial support; I am asking for the chance to secure a future where my children can continue to grow, learn, and thrive.

I believe in the power of community, and I am hopeful that together, we can weather this storm. Your support will not only impact our lives but will be a testament to the strength that lies in unity and compassion.

If you find it in your heart to contribute, please donate towards my family. Your generosity will not be forgotten, and I will be forever grateful for the lifeline you extend to us during this challenging time. I promise when times get better I will pay it forward!

Help our friend Nerina in her battle against cancer

Make a difference in the life of a South African child.

Greetings friends, and supporters,

My name is Kahlil Malik Muhammad and I am an American national living in South Africa, for the last 20 years. This is my 32nd year of teaching mathematics and I am making a difference in lives of children via my South African nonprofit foundation.

OMI Foundation NPC is pleased to announce our plan to help South African students, this academic year, with supplementary mathematics instruction.  Each school will have access to our mathematics lessons on a weekly basis.

Our plan is to help 4 classes of 20 students for 45 minutes, daily, per session. This opportunity allows us to help 80 students per session, at one school, and 160 students per day, except on Friday where we shall help 80.  We have scheduled 9 sessions per week.  A total of 720 students will benefit from our courses.

Our morning session will be from 7:50 AM -11:00 AM, Monday – Friday and our afternoon session will be from 12:10 PM – 3:20 PM, Monday – Thursday during normal school hours.

OMI Foundation will teach the fundamental elements of both pre-algebra and algebra, in the beginning, and advanced algebra as we progress throughout the year. South African students battle with mathematics and this subject is the lowest performing in the country, after the national exam, each year.

Many of my students have unemployed parents and some of them live in shanty towns, commonly called “squatter camps” in South Africa, with no running water or electricity.  On average, these students seldom have access to school supplies, commonly called stationery. Each of my students will be supplied with pencils, pens, calculators, math sets, and paper by our program so that we may function, effectively, without distraction.

The goal of our class assignments, quizzes, tests, and exams is 100% pass and we shall revise the material until our students are able to achieve said results. No student shall advance without mastery of the respective topic.

The cost per student is $62.50 for the academic year, which is $1,250.00 per class or $5,000.00, per class, for the full academic year.  OMI Foundation NPC, we issue a Section 18A receipt for tax credit for South African donors.

We need your assistance to help us make a difference in the lives of a South African children, as we have done for the last 12 years. Students, classes, or schools may be sponsored.  At the request of the donor, monthly progress may be shared in terms of progress.

By the end of 2019, OMI Foundation had given more than $125,000.00 USD to students, teachers, and schools.

Our efforts have shaped the lives of young people who have become accountants, actuaries, engineers, lawyers, medical doctors, and pilots.  We wish to continue helping young South Africans turn into formidable leaders.

Please give a donation, today, and help us prepare a young person for a better future.

Fallen on hard times

Hi,I’m a 39yr old single mum my husband passed on in 2011. I recently lost my job in July because my work permit had expired. I’m a Zimbabwean and i was working in South Africa. I applied for another work permit last year in April and I’m still waiting for it to be processed.
Losing my job has made life very difficult for me and my two kids. I’m struggling to put food on the table and pay rent. To make matters worse my son is going to high school next year he needs uniforms and fees. At the moment I’m unemployed and efforts I made  in finding another job are all in vain. It’s not easy to find a job without a work permit in South Africa. I have resorted to selling fresh chips and russian sausages but I don’t make much since people don’t have money, SA’s economy is fast deteriorating. Going back to my home country- Zimbabwe is just not an option because there are no jobs there and the unemployment rate is 80% as a result most graduates are just sitting at home.
I need help with my son’s education who is going to high school next year. Any kind of assistance or any amount of money will be very much appreciated.

STRUGGLING TO PAY MY MORTGAGE LOAN

I am requesting for a $40,000.00 donation to clear off my mortgage loan for my only house and the bank is already threatening to repossess it. I am having  sleepless nights because of this debt.  In 2019 I lost my job but went into  catering business which was doing well at the time

Unfortunately things went bad since the Covid-19 pandemic and as a result, I have not been able to service my mortgage loan accordingly and this lead to an accumulation of arrears to the total of $7000.00 plus the monthly installment  of $600.  In November 2021,  I received a letter from the Bank demanding a payment of $7600  within 14days. I didn’t have this amount of money but managed to raise $1000 and requested to be given a grace period pending  an outcome of an Act amendment which was still being debated in Parliament, An Act to assist unemployed struggling people. Indeed the amendment of the Act/Law was endorsed last year October 2022 but unfortunately it was said that the Act did not cover me since I became unemployed in 2019 and that it will only apply to those who would become unemployed from October 2022 going forward.

Still last year November 2022, I received a summons  from the Bank Sheriff now demanding payment of  all arears plus the whole Balance to the total amount of P533,000.00 equivalent to almost $50,000.00 within 21days, failing which they were repossessing my only house

I went and negotiated again with borrowed $1200.00 and made an agreement by faith to continue paying $1200.00 every month covering both the arrears and installments.

I have been struggling with the $1200.00 every month from last year, it hasn’t been easy. For the past three months it has been so much  difficult that I ended up borrowing from relatives and friends just to make sure I meet the agreement. As I speak my business collapsed  and I am seriously in debts  not knowing where this month’s(November 2023) payment will come from. I believe and trust God that I will get help from this site.

I defaulted last month October and now they are demanding payment of the total balance of arrears which has now reduced from $7000.00 to $1500.00 plus this month’s installment  of $600. Giving us a total of $2100.00  which has to be paid before end if this month November 2023.

I would like to ask anyone who is willing to help me to please help with anything they are willing to offer. The estimated amount required to finish the project is $10000 but I am willing to take anything that will contribute towards the project.

A Plea for Compassion Supporting a Striving Single Mother

Iam Botchiwe, a Malawian woman of resilience and strength, a single mother who is the embodiment of tenacity and the human spirit’s ability to overcome adversity. Despite facing significant financial hardships, I continue to relentlessly pursue an education for myself and my daughter, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to our future.

As an extraordinary woman, I am currently juggling multiple roles as a student, a mother, and a worker, all in a bid to secure a better future for myself and my daughter. However, the financial burden of tuition fees and housing expenses is casting a long shadow over our dreams.

As a single mother, I have faced challenging circumstances with grace and strength. Despite the immense pressure, I have not let my situation deter me from my path. I am currently pursuing my degree at Mzuzu University while also ensuring my daughter receives the best education possible. But the cost of tuition for both me and my daughter is a significant hurdle that we are struggling to overcome. In addition, I also take care of my sister, who had a car accident and broke her leg and hand.

The reality of our living situation is concerning. The burden of rent is a constant strain on our limited resources, leaving us in a precarious position where we are always one unexpected expense away from potential homelessness.

I really need your help. “I am not looking for handouts, but a hand-up. A chance to change our circumstances, to provide for my daughter, to secure our future.”

There are several ways you can extend your support to us:

Financial Aid: Monetary donations towards Botchiwe’s tuition fees and my daughter’s would be immensely helpful. This will alleviate the financial stress we are currently under and allow us to focus more effectively on our studies. The financial aid can reach us through botchiwe@gmail.com ( Payoneer) or botchiwe03@gmail.com ( Paypal).

Housing Assistance: If anyone is able to offer assistance in securing a permanent residence, it would provide a tremendous sense of stability and security for me and my daughter. Alternatively, contributions towards a down payment for a house would be incredibly beneficial.

Employment Opportunities: Iam seeking remote employment to better manage my responsibilities. If anyone has knowledge of suitable job opportunities, it could be a significant step towards financial independence for us.

Business Capital: I have expressed interest in starting my own business as a long-term solution to my financial challenges. If you are in a position to offer capital, mentorship, or resources, it would be a game-changer.

In these challenging times, I beg all well-wishers to come to our rescue by offering your support in any way that you can to help us build a secure future for myself and my daughter. Remember, every bit of help counts.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Eviction Notice

Dear Good people

I hope this message finds you well. I am Luc Mantsounga from South Africa and I am writing to you with a humble request for financial assistance. Our family is currently facing a challenging situation, and we find ourselves in need of help to cover our home and our children’s school fees.

As a self-employed IT Technician, it has been a very difficult last 3 years for me and my family. Because the refurbish cell phone screens was booming in south Africa, I went and get the loan from the bank  and went to China in 2018 to  buy LCD’s refurbish equipment. And because of the 2019 pandemic I couldn’t use the machines and they become outdated as The iPhone LCD technology changed. so from then I have been sitting with useless Machines that I still need to pay the loan that I got from the bank

Because of this situation I have been unable to pay my Children’s school fees for more than two years and arrears on my home for a year. As Parent we are committed to providing a stable and nurturing environment for our children, and ensuring they receive a good education . However, due to the circumstances we are facing, we are struggling to meet these financial obligations

Any assistance you could provide, whether it’s a one -time donation or a short-term loan, would make a significant difference in our lives. we will be immensely grateful for your support during this difficult time. this money will help me buy new equipment and pay my depts. and restore my dignity as a patriarch of the family. The amount that we need as a family is around $30.000

I have attached the letter that I received from my Land Lord and they want me to fully pay the arrears otherwise I will lose the house and this need to be done before 30 November 2023. And I can tell you that I do not know what to do right now

we do understand that these are challenging times for everyone, and we do not make this request lightly. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to our family, and it would help secure a brighter future for our children

Thank you so much for taking your time to consider our request. We appreciate your support and understanding

Sincerely, Luc Mantsounga
