Fallen on hard times

Hi,I’m a 39yr old single mum my husband passed on in 2011. I recently lost my job in July because my work permit had expired. I’m a Zimbabwean and i was working in South Africa. I applied for another work permit last year in April and I’m still waiting for it to be processed.
Losing my job has made life very difficult for me and my two kids. I’m struggling to put food on the table and pay rent. To make matters worse my son is going to high school next year he needs uniforms and fees. At the moment I’m unemployed and efforts I made  in finding another job are all in vain. It’s not easy to find a job without a work permit in South Africa. I have resorted to selling fresh chips and russian sausages but I don’t make much since people don’t have money, SA’s economy is fast deteriorating. Going back to my home country- Zimbabwe is just not an option because there are no jobs there and the unemployment rate is 80% as a result most graduates are just sitting at home.
I need help with my son’s education who is going to high school next year. Any kind of assistance or any amount of money will be very much appreciated.

STRUGGLING TO PAY MY MORTGAGE LOAN

I am requesting for a $40,000.00 donation to clear off my mortgage loan for my only house and the bank is already threatening to repossess it. I am having  sleepless nights because of this debt.  In 2019 I lost my job but went into  catering business which was doing well at the time

Unfortunately things went bad since the Covid-19 pandemic and as a result, I have not been able to service my mortgage loan accordingly and this lead to an accumulation of arrears to the total of $7000.00 plus the monthly installment  of $600.  In November 2021,  I received a letter from the Bank demanding a payment of $7600  within 14days. I didn’t have this amount of money but managed to raise $1000 and requested to be given a grace period pending  an outcome of an Act amendment which was still being debated in Parliament, An Act to assist unemployed struggling people. Indeed the amendment of the Act/Law was endorsed last year October 2022 but unfortunately it was said that the Act did not cover me since I became unemployed in 2019 and that it will only apply to those who would become unemployed from October 2022 going forward.

Still last year November 2022, I received a summons  from the Bank Sheriff now demanding payment of  all arears plus the whole Balance to the total amount of P533,000.00 equivalent to almost $50,000.00 within 21days, failing which they were repossessing my only house

I went and negotiated again with borrowed $1200.00 and made an agreement by faith to continue paying $1200.00 every month covering both the arrears and installments.

I have been struggling with the $1200.00 every month from last year, it hasn’t been easy. For the past three months it has been so much  difficult that I ended up borrowing from relatives and friends just to make sure I meet the agreement. As I speak my business collapsed  and I am seriously in debts  not knowing where this month’s(November 2023) payment will come from. I believe and trust God that I will get help from this site.

I defaulted last month October and now they are demanding payment of the total balance of arrears which has now reduced from $7000.00 to $1500.00 plus this month’s installment  of $600. Giving us a total of $2100.00  which has to be paid before end if this month November 2023.

Finish off building project

Good day
I would like your assistance with some funds to finish off my building project.
I had started off my building with the loan I got from the bank. My plan was to build and then rent out the building to pay off the debt I had acquired with the rental income. The funds I got from the bank were not enough and the building was left incomplete, at this moment I am left with a debt that I am struggling to pay.

I would like to ask anyone who is willing to help me to please help with anything they are willing to offer. The estimated amount required to finish the project is $10000 but I am willing to take anything that will contribute towards the project.

Please use my PayPal link below and thank you for taking your time to read my story

A Plea for Compassion Supporting a Striving Single Mother

Iam Botchiwe, a Malawian woman of resilience and strength, a single mother who is the embodiment of tenacity and the human spirit’s ability to overcome adversity. Despite facing significant financial hardships, I continue to relentlessly pursue an education for myself and my daughter, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to our future.

As an extraordinary woman, I am currently juggling multiple roles as a student, a mother, and a worker, all in a bid to secure a better future for myself and my daughter. However, the financial burden of tuition fees and housing expenses is casting a long shadow over our dreams.

As a single mother, I have faced challenging circumstances with grace and strength. Despite the immense pressure, I have not let my situation deter me from my path. I am currently pursuing my degree at Mzuzu University while also ensuring my daughter receives the best education possible. But the cost of tuition for both me and my daughter is a significant hurdle that we are struggling to overcome. In addition, I also take care of my sister, who had a car accident and broke her leg and hand.

The reality of our living situation is concerning. The burden of rent is a constant strain on our limited resources, leaving us in a precarious position where we are always one unexpected expense away from potential homelessness.

I really need your help. “I am not looking for handouts, but a hand-up. A chance to change our circumstances, to provide for my daughter, to secure our future.”

There are several ways you can extend your support to us:

Financial Aid: Monetary donations towards Botchiwe’s tuition fees and my daughter’s would be immensely helpful. This will alleviate the financial stress we are currently under and allow us to focus more effectively on our studies. The financial aid can reach us through botchiwe@gmail.com ( Payoneer) or botchiwe03@gmail.com ( Paypal).

Housing Assistance: If anyone is able to offer assistance in securing a permanent residence, it would provide a tremendous sense of stability and security for me and my daughter. Alternatively, contributions towards a down payment for a house would be incredibly beneficial.

Employment Opportunities: Iam seeking remote employment to better manage my responsibilities. If anyone has knowledge of suitable job opportunities, it could be a significant step towards financial independence for us.

Business Capital: I have expressed interest in starting my own business as a long-term solution to my financial challenges. If you are in a position to offer capital, mentorship, or resources, it would be a game-changer.

In these challenging times, I beg all well-wishers to come to our rescue by offering your support in any way that you can to help us build a secure future for myself and my daughter. Remember, every bit of help counts.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

As a self-employed IT Technician, it has been a very difficult last 3 years for me and my family. Because the refurbish cell phone screens was booming in south Africa, I went and get the loan from the bank  and went to China in 2018 to  buy LCD’s refurbish equipment. And because of the 2019 pandemic I couldn’t use the machines and they become outdated as The iPhone LCD technology changed. so from then I have been sitting with useless Machines that I still need to pay the loan that I got from the bank

Because of this situation I have been unable to pay my Children’s school fees for more than two years and arrears on my home for a year. As Parent we are committed to providing a stable and nurturing environment for our children, and ensuring they receive a good education . However, due to the circumstances we are facing, we are struggling to meet these financial obligations

Any assistance you could provide, whether it’s a one -time donation or a short-term loan, would make a significant difference in our lives. we will be immensely grateful for your support during this difficult time. this money will help me buy new equipment and pay my depts. and restore my dignity as a patriarch of the family. The amount that we need as a family is around $30.000

I have attached the letter that I received from my Land Lord and they want me to fully pay the arrears otherwise I will lose the house and this need to be done before 30 November 2023. And I can tell you that I do not know what to do right now

we do understand that these are challenging times for everyone, and we do not make this request lightly. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to our family, and it would help secure a brighter future for our children

Thank you so much for taking your time to consider our request. We appreciate your support and understanding

Sincerely, Luc Mantsounga

Single Mom of Three Kids Abandoned by Father

Hello Good People,

Iam writing to seek help and support from kind and helpful individuals. I am a single mother of three children a girl aged 12 years, a boy aged 4yrs and a girl of 2yrs after separating with their father because of emotional abuse. I have been their primary caretaker from that time and are struggling to cater for every one of their expenses starting from rent, food, education and medical bills. I lost my job in 2021 as a result of being pregnant with my last born girl and since then I have been struggling to cater for their needs with no help at all from their father. My eldest daughter goes to school but without full school requirements but it hurts to see my son who is 4yrs old not starting school due to lack of tuition.

I have searched for jobs but to no avail including starting  up a small bakery and snacks business to have some income for my children to live by but it collapsed due to cash flow and huge debt payments. I have to cater for monthly bills/payments amounting to $1,500 but are in debt and literally broken down.

Iam a very hardworking, intelligent and purposeful lady with numerous ideas for business but lack startup capital for working. I would be very glad to have support from all helpful individuals and organisatons who can support me to cater for my children’s needs but most of all assist me with startup capital of $45,000 to steer my initiatives in the right direction so it can help me fulfill my family’s needs in the long run.

Thank you for your kindness in advance.

I URGENTLY NEED FINANCIAL HELP

Dear donor.

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Tunde Odugbesan, and today, I must gather the courage to share my story with you, seeking your compassionate assistance in a time of great need.

Life is relentless, and it often bestows its challenges upon those who least expect them. I am writing to you now, humbly asking for financial support, as my family and I find ourselves facing a profound struggle that we cannot overcome alone. It is with great vulnerability and an open heart that I share our heartfelt plea with you.

Just a few years ago, our lives were filled with joy and promise. We were a stable and happy family, navigating life’s twists and turns with optimism and determination. However, fate had different plans for us. Our lives took a different direction after COVID-19 struck the whole world. We were still leaving fine during COVID-19. Not really affected that much, that we could still help others in need.

The story began to change just after June 1st 2020. We partially resumed work and the business was completely down and all the savings had already been exhausted. And the next thing is to downsize, cancel all the car and business insurance as we could no longer afford them as it were. We laid off a few staff as we could no longer pay salary simply because there was no income enough to pay for the office rent, let alone for the other fixed running expenditure. The children school fees became an issue.

We were able to survive through 2020 until 2021. We started by selling our a few belonging in the second quarter of 2021. We sold our cars and we got a smaller one. We later started selling a few equipment as the storage rent began to accumulate because of the equipment that were taken to the rented storage due to the office space downsize. We eventually sold our house in May 2022, just to be able to pay some huge outstanding debts, and we invested the remaining in order to get back to our feet. Unfortunately, we lost the whole capital in the investment.

On the 9th day of June, 2022, I was hijacked by 3 gunmen around 6:30pm – 7pm. It was indeed a tragic experience that l would never pray my enemy should experience. My two phones were taken. My bank cards taken and the little money l have in my accounts were withdrawn, both from personal and business account. Which l reported at the nearby Police Station after l was dropped around 11pm and l got a case number for that too.

On the 22nd day of same month, just a day to clock 2 weeks, the other smaller car l was driving was stolen just in front of a house around 7:30pm – 8pm. The incident too was reported at the nearest Police Station and a case number was issued. I had my sport bag, iPad, my passport and so many other docs in the card as at the time the incident happened. I can actually go on and on and on.

Since then, our lives have never been the same. Whatever income made is just to be able to put food on the table, buy fuel to transport the children to school and pick them up. We could no more afford to pay fro the school fee. My wife is not really making any contribution as her business is completely not making much that to afford the rent.

I am currently not driving any car as my car has been faulty and l couldn’t afford to repair it as we speak.

With tearful eyes, I recount the painful sacrifices we have made to ensure our children receives the care they need. We have virtually sold all we could, depleted our savings, and applied for loans, all to sustain the fragile hope of getting back to our feet. Yet, even with our tireless efforts, financial ruin looms over our heads like a dark cloud.

In the midst of these distressing circumstances, we remain resilient and refuse to let despair settle over us. However, we find ourselves at an impasse, where our indomitable spirit alone cannot bridge the gap between the cost of the expenses that go down on a monthly basis. It is in this moment of desperation that we turn to you, extending an earnest plea for financial support.

We pray that you can find it in your heart to help us navigate through this storm, to provide a glimmer of light amidst our overwhelming darkness. Your generosity would not only alleviate our immediate financial burdens but also restore our belief in the inherent kindness and compassion that exists within humanity.

Every dollar, every small act of kindness, brings us closer to a renewed sense of hope. Your involvement could help save a life, uplift a family, and inspire a community. We believe, with unfaltering conviction, that together, we can overcome this trial and reclaim our lives. At this junction, apart from other all that we are going through, our 3 children might not be allowed to resume next year with their co learners as we are owing a huge amount which need to be paid as a matter of urgency. Even if we have to change their school to a public school which we intend to do by the way. We still have to pay for the outstanding fees in order for us to get letter of transfer from their present school to public school.

The total amount needed to settle my children’s school fees, including other debts, is approximately $25,000.00 – $30,000.00

If you wish to contact me with further questions or any proof, please email me here:

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We sincerely hope that you can find it within your means to help us in our time of need. May your generosity serve as a beacon of hope to families such as ours, reminding us all that compassion and empathy can truly transform lives.

With utmost gratitude and warm regards,

Tunde Odugbesan

Doctor

Greetings.

I am a newly qualified foundation medical doctor based in Africa, Zambia. Am so glad to have learned about this page and I couldn’t believe there are good and kind hearted people out there who are willing to offer a helping hand to someone who feels like giving up in life due to financial challenges. As I write like this have been moving to and from looking for financial help to settle my debt. The dilemma am in is that money lenders are so exploitative and can really squeeze everything out of you till you drop. I have been trying to come out of debt for the past 5 years but the more I try the more I am going down deep into debt to the point where I owe nothing in my life. My only car I use to take kids to school and household good are in the verge of being repossessed by shylocks. All this while my life has been borrowing money from this lenders to pay the the other lender till now that I can’t manage to pay any of them anymore. Street money lenders down here charge interest of 50% to be paid in 30days in addition you have to pledge your car household electric appliances and others. Once you default they pounce on your items, a thing so painful and very difficult to explain to the children. I am a newly qualified foundation medical doctor who studied locally and began on self sponsorship. Due to university expenses and extended family expenses which I couldn’t avoid as a bread winner of the family each semester I began going into debt. I borrowed from the bank and other fair private till I couldn’t afford a formal loan on my pay. I still had tuition fees to pay family to take care of, hence I had no choice but borrow again and again just to survive. Each day life was becoming even more unbearable, facing challenges to pay rent pay for water bills and others unless I borrow. Am really so relieved to have stumbled accidentally on this page. My total is for the car and household good stand at $2500 this excludes the debt I have at the banks which is US $8000 with a monthly deduction of US$300 for 72 months now remaining with about 50+ months. I’m lobbying for financial help of US$2500 or any amount to help claim back my car and household goods so that I can have peace of mind am undergoing so much stress at the moment so much stress. Yet I have to offer quality health care to my patients pretending all is well with me. Please help I’ll be forever indebted and oneday I’ll be part of the good hearted people of this group to offer a helping hand to other people. My PayPal email is wamundilaf@gmail.com. Thank you for finding time to read through.

Relocation package

I am Nawanga Dorren, a nurse and mother of  a 9year old and a 4year old from Uganda. I and my husband have been processing our ( l and the two children ) UK visa application to join him as dependents and thank God the UK visa immigration office approved them.

My husband is a hardworking person, being a college teacher with his outstanding achievements he won a scholarship from the UK Government to study at the University of Northumbria of which he joined in September 2022. This came as a golden opportunity for us to start our dream of relocating.

I have practiced Nursing in Uganda for over 6years in private health facilities and been paid peanut ( equivalent to 150USD) per month putting me in a position to have no savings. Am passionate about nursing and looking forward to serving as a health care provider in the UK.

We have exhausted our resources with visa application process and left with no money to book flight tickets,  find accomodation for 4, buy essentials in the house, winter clothing and food.

We are due to travel this November and I am requesting for financial help of 15,000 USD to make our relocation dream come true. Thankyou for your consideration.
