So I came on here to see if I can get help to get car fixed my younger daughter has acute asthma and the bus is a no when people are smoking fentanyl on it. She lost her 9 year old cousin last year to fentanyl a exposure. So we walk to get to where we need to go and with the weather changing to be cold it will suck to walk in the rain to get her to school it takes a hour to walk her to school and me to work. Divorced Single Father Struggling to Pay Rent.
Life for a single father of two daughters, one of whom has autism, has become a daily battle against mounting financial pressures. After my divorce, the burden of paying alimony and child support has been unrelenting, making it difficult to keep up with basic necessities. With only one income, now significantly reduced due to fewer hours at work, making ends meet has become nearly impossible.
Rent is $974 per month for a cramped one-bedroom apartment. The situation is so tight that I father has had to make the painful decision to sleep on the floor for the past year and a half, allowing his daughters to have the only room. The small space is just another reminder of how far I have fallen from the life I once knew. The constant struggle to provide for my daughters weighs heavily on me. With school starting, I worry about buying new clothes and supplies—expenses that seem insurmountable when every penny is stretched to its limit.
Finding a part-time job has been a frustrating challenge. Despite numerous applications and inquiries, nothing has materialized, leaving me feeling desperate and trapped. The reduced hours at his current job have only exacerbated the situation, with less income coming in and no prospects for additional work on the horizon. Every month is a tightrope walk, balancing rent, bills, and groceries, with little to no room for anything unexpected.
Food on the table is not always a certainty. There have been nights when I have gone without a proper meal to ensure that his daughters are fed. The guilt of not being able to provide enough for them gnaws on me daily. I know that my daughters deserve more—a stable home, enough food, and the small joys that other children take for granted, like new clothes for school. But the reality is that even these basic needs are hard to come by. The thought of failing them keeps him awake at night, staring at the ceiling from his makeshift bed on the floor.
My daughter with autism requires special care and attention, adding another layer of complexity to my already overwhelming life. The extra costs associated with her care further strain the limited budget, leaving even less for other essentials. Despite the challenges, I try to remain strong for my daughters, but the weight of it all is exhausting.
After crunching the numbers, I realize that to gain any sort of breathing room, I need at least two months’ rent saved up. This amount would allow him to catch up on other bills and buy the necessities my daughters need. But even as I dreams of that relief, I know that at this moment, anything would help. Any small bit of assistance could be the difference between sinking further into debt or keeping his head just above water.

Struggling to pay for immigration lawyer
Hello,
Everyone that is able to help me. I immigrant from Mexico I had my upsd and downs from time to time. But now it’s been exciting news for me and that’s is that I can be able to move on with my immigration status and get a green card. I know the process is not easy, I’ve also waited years for these. And now I have been talking to my immigration lawyer about my status and wait time. I thrill to know I can look forward in fixing my status here in americana and stop worrying about immigration and struggling to have a job and home. And also if able to complete this new process with immigration I can keep staying, keep a job, keep a home. But the bad thing for me is that since prices went up so high for immigrants to process and legal status in americana, and lawyer also charging so much, i need at least $12,000. It’s going to be impossible for me to keep up with payments unless I receive your help to make a difference in my life and be able to change my status and get what I been wanting for so long. I’m currently employed don’t get me wrong but with your help financially I could be able to pay the lawyer and USCIS for my new status green card and lift a big burden of my shoulders. Instead of dreaming and guessing what would it have been it could afford them. I want to make that dream come true. And help my self to a new change in my life look to a brighter tomorrow where I can be worried free.
Thank so much for your support 🙏 and I’m looking forward for a better tomorrow.

Over 60, recently widowed and about to lose our home
Hi all you happy helpful people!
I’m sure my story is like that of so many others. The only thing that makes mine unique is that is happening to me, here and now.
My 66 year old husband passed away last year. He was a proud Marine and a retired police officer. He was a great guy and very good at his chosen profession. After he retired from his department, he held some other jobs related to law enforcement, usually in some type of training or as a contracted security escort for valuable shipments.
When he passed away, our whole family was shocked. He had been struggling with some health issues, but had always come out on top, he was one tough and stubborn guy and I miss him every day.
After he died, I began to see the extent of all the things he ignored, avoided and didn’t tell me about. He had no will. He had no life insurance, final expenses insurance, savings, investments, IRA or any other kind of financial provisions set up for me. To be quite honest, after I survived two trips to death’s door from Legionnaires Pneumonia 10+ years ago, and becoming disabled due to it, I always expected to die before him. He also chose to not have a portion of his retirement set aside for me to collect once a month. I do receive Survivor’s Benefits, but Social Security doesn’t go far these days. Thankfully I was able to be covered by Medicaid and receive food assistance. I am beyond grateful for those things,
Which brings me to today. I found out two months ago that not only had he not been paying our home’s property taxes but that the property had been sold in a tax auction BEFORE he died. One of the several things he kept from me. Don’t bother asking why, I’ve had to set aside that question since understanding it doesn’t change my circumstances and I’m tired of making myself crazy over it. I’ve been given the opportunity to redeem the property, and have been doing all I can to reach the goal of $18,846.00 by September 9, 2024. I had to pay the attorney representing the person that bought the property in order to obtain a release or the right to pay the back taxes and keep the home I’ve known for thirty years. That payment was for $2,668.00 and was not applicable to the back taxes amount.
Today I found out the amount I need to pay is $33,000.00 +. Being disabled, I can’t work anymore, and because my life was spent staying home, raising kids, caring for my bedridden mother-in-law in our home and being a supportive law enforcement wife, I never worked enough to qualify for Social Security Disability.
My special needs son and I are facing the prospect of having no home. I know that based on the income I receive I won’t be able to stay in this home forever, but I don’t have the means right now to move. I’m hoping that I might be able to eventually find my way back to my home state from Southern Maryland so I can at least be near most of my family.
The next few days I am planning on visiting some organizations locally that have programs to help older people stay in their homes. I don’t know what all help they may offer or provide, but I want to exhaust all my options.
My goal is to raise the $30,000.00 + to pay the back taxes. I’ve got almost $16,000.00 from selling anything with any value, including most all of my jewelry, which I absolutely do not mind one bit. I’d rather have a roof over my head than be sad over not having a cute necklace, bracelet or ring.
I pray that there may be someone out there that would feel compelled to help me keep my home at least long enough to settle my husband’s estate. Once I split the estate proceeds between myself and my husband’s three biological children, I can relocate. Please help me find a way to stay in my home a little longer. The sad thing about being a family caretaker or volunteer, those jobs don’t pay and you earn no benefits other than knowing you’ve done a good thing by helping others.
Thank you for considering me,

Single Mom in Desperate Situation
I am a single mother of a special needs daughter. I have not been able to work all summer because of her needs. I am getting things under control, and I am looking for work. I did start an Amazon job, but my car was repossessed. I am also looking at eviction on the 19th of this month. I am desperate and do not want to start compromising safety and body for money. Please help us! I need $ 1800 not to be evicted and $ 3,000 to get my car back.
I am not worried about the car as much about the housing! I would rather have my home. Please help us. I am so scared. I am looking for work as well that is within walking distance from my house. My daughter needs to feel secure and I am not sure how else I can keep myself together. I am trying all avenues for help. I got denied emergency help because the local welfare office computer broke down and they didn’t have my paperwork (even though I turned it in online 2 weeks prior).
I am trying to trust that God has this in control. I hope that someone can help me, please. My daughter deserves it.

Need help with medical bill
Hi –
I never thought I’d be in a situation of asking for help financially, but back I am on a limited income with Social Security and am unable to pay for a medication prescribed to me back in February of this year when I got COVID and went to the Emergency Room one night sick as a dog. After waiting hours to be seen, I was told I had COVID and was given a 30 day supply of medication. I took the medication immediately before leaving the hospital. About a month later, I received a bill from the hospital telling me I owed them $3211.01 for the medication. I was shocked since my medication is usually covered under my insurance. But the problem came when I found out they didn’t use my insurance card to cover it. They filled the script from their own pharmacy. I’ve been on the phone every month for the past 6 months with the hospital telling them I can’t afford it on my income, but I still continue getting a bill every month with interest accruing. Now I owe over $3400.00. They have told me I could make payments, but my income doesn’t allow the extra expense, and the interest that keeps accruing would eat into any payment I’d make. So here I am, asking for help to pay this off. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give. God bless. Thank you. My PayPal account is PayPal.me/MarciaLDePaula.
Rise Above Circumstances
Hello, I am reaching out for help with unforeseen circumstances, I moved to Hemet, CA to help my family with my Aunt who was ill and suddenly passed away,, in the process of assisting with helping my car broke down had towed to the dealer where I had to pay over 9.000 dollars to receive it back which I did not have which led to a lien sale being made on my car after the dealer had it over six months, to add to that I also got a job in Hemet, that unbeknown to me, had financial issues as well that left me not being paid for over 3 months so I am I would say temporarily stuck. I am looking for assistance in getting myself another car. After my Aunt passed that led to the house being sold and everyone going their separate ways with me still in a city that I am not from with no home to stay in hotels always one from being on the streets so if you could help I want to get another car to get where I need to be. Sincerely yours Darold
Full of Hope
Hello, my name is Terri and I hope this finds you in God’s grace.
Let me tell you a little about myself so you can get to know me a little first. I am 50, turning 51 on Sept. 17th. I grew up in Orange County, California with 7 brothers and sisters, and loving parents. Unfortunately, tragedy struck out family, several times. Despite my parents amazing efforts at providing the epitomy of a rounded childhood, 7 of us got into drugs and such. Even worse, I started burying my siblings at the age of 15. I now have 1 sister left.
Mind you, I had a 3.8 gpa at a prestigious and private Catholic high school, Mater Dei, as well as kept a part time job at a flower shop. All while partaking in elicit drugs in my free time. I was supposed to attend Cal Poly Pomona as I can do math in my sleep, but got scared at the last minute and choked, basically. I have great potential, just lacked faith in myself until just recently.
At the age of 19 I became a single mom, then fell into criminal activity with less than honorable people at the age of 25, earning myself a trip to prison. Followed by 6 more trips to state prison, and one trip to federal prison, all behind drugs. Drugs and my lack of hope. It wasn’t long before I got used to my chaotic and destructive lifestyle, believing that was my reality, forever. I put emphasis on destructive. I took so many risks, I couldn’t begin to tell you how far I went with testing the waters.
During my federal bid I completed 9 months of in-house, trauma based treatment where I addressed positive behavior skills, communication skills, and problem solving. It was a tough but very impactful program where I was eventually given responsibility of managing other members participation in daily meetings, and facilitated different sober events. I also became Servsafe certified, and ACT workkeys platinum certified while there. I am very proud of my participation and acheivements in this time. I was released just last November.
I have been working since release at local restaurant as a server, acquired a studio apt. and a used vehicle. Unfortunately my vehicle needs a new transmission, and my intentions are to do more than just serve food for the rest of my life. I should mention that financial stability is one of my biggest stressors that can lead my to backslide.
I am capable of so much more in this life, I really am. If I had financial cushion to not have to work 40-50 hrs a week I would explore more long term options available to me, which would undoubtedly require schooling/certifications of some sort. I want to explore my options,as I am very smart and diligent when my mind is set, as well as versatile. I have absolute confidence in my excellent work ethic as well. At this moment, my thoughts are on becoming a drug/alcohol counselor, and/or mentor, which require certification as well as peer support classes. A step further would be to own and operate a sober living home for women, which would require business/management classes.
Most of all, I just want to have a chance to meet my full potential in life. I want to see how far I was meant to go!
Either way, I do appreciate the time you took to read this, and your consideration. Below is my PayPal link, should you see fit to contribute to my aspirations.

Struggling Mom – Determined to Create Generational Wealth
I am a 45 year old mother of three beautiful children. I suffered from severe postpartum depression for years until I decided to go to school for my Masters degree, a decision that saved my life. As a single mother I had no choice but to live on students loans which further plunged me into debt. $200k in loans later, I am a college professor living check-to-check with a dream to own a home to reverse the cycle of financial struggle for my children. I am asking for $15k to pay bills and improve my credit score to purchase a home, which will afford me the financial mobility necessary to build wealth to pass on to my children. Anything you can contribute will get me one step closer to my vision. Please know that I am deeply grateful.

Urgent Assistance Requested for Narcissistic Trauma Victim
Dear Friends,
I am both humbled and personally embarrassed to share my painful story with you, however, I find myself in a dire place. My name is Michael B and I am a faithful servant of God. As a matter of background, I have had two long careers – first as a 30-year law enforcement professional (medically retired due to critical gunshot injury and 27 ensuing surgeries) in Houston, Texas, and second as a university professor teaching young students in Criminal Justice. I am now 67 years of age and find myself in an urgent financial bind. The reasons follow.
I was widowed in 2011 due to the loss of my wife’s battle with breast cancer. We spent all of our life’s savings on cancer treatments, therapies and drug trials. I live on my meager police pension, and very small Social Security benefits (small because I am in a pension system). I remained single and alone until 2022 when I remarried. I had prayed for many years for God to provide me with a good Christian wife. We were married for a little more than two years. Little did I realize that she was wearing a mask to hide the fact that she was a covert narcissist. Over the past 8 months, her true cruel nature began to surface. I learned of her many lies, deceit, cheating and stealing my money. On July 31, 2024, my wife secretly filed for divorce, all the while telling me that she would agree to seek counseling and to save our marriage. She simply left while I slept in the middle of the night with no discussion or any semblance of closure. I am an emotional wreck and her actions and treatment of me leave me feeling like a broken man. I am now what is referred to as a victim of narcissistic abuse. I was never previously aware of the depth and level of emotional trauma associated with the narcissist.
Yes, she actually stole my money and now I am in urgent need to get over the initial month or two to find solutions to pay my mortgage, utilities and the day to day bills. I simply have limited funds now and cannot afford to lose my home. Due to my disability, I have limited options. Therefore, I humbly ask for any financial assistance from you generous, kind, and understanding individuals that I have faith are in this world. I will thank you in advance, and leave you with my genuine promise that when I am in a better position, I will pay it forward – perhaps to another victim of narcissistic abuse.
Blessing to All,
Michael

REBUILDING FAMILY BUSINESS
Hello, I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart but also with hope. For 18 years, I have dedicated my life to building a business that provides custom domestic designed and manufactured products to the beverage industry. My family and I have poured our hearts, time, and savings into this venture, and for many years, it was a source of pride and a means of providing for our family. However, due to unexpected circumstances beyond our control, our business has temporarily slowed down to the point that this has left us in a difficult financial position, struggling to make ends meet and to provide for our family. The impact has been devastating, not just financially but emotionally as well. We have always been a hard-working family, believing that perseverance and dedication would see us through any challenge. But now, we find ourselves in a situation we never imagined we would be in—asking for help. We are not giving up on our business. We know that with a little help, we can get it back on its feet. The industry demand is still there, our customers have expressed their desire to continue working with us, our products are custom designed and typically it takes 90 days to get paid due to the nature of the business. We design the products, manufacture the products and that can take 2 months, and that is the problem, we have.gaps with our revenue. All our products are made in the USA and outsourced to a number of domestic manufacturers. These businesses too need orders from us to continue and we like to share and partner with other small businesses when we have the work. We need temporary financial support to cover essential expenses like mortgage, utilities, and food for our family while we restructure and revive our business. Any amount you can contribute would go a long way in helping us weather this storm. Your generosity will provide us with the stability we need to focus on rebuilding our business and ensuring its long-term success. We are committed to repaying this kindness by helping others in similar situations once we are back on our feet. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering our plea and for any support you can provide. Your kindness means more than words can express.

I REFUSE TO BE HOMELESS
My husband told me he wanted a divorce after 22 years. The reason I asked “I interrupted him”! I had no idea what I was up against or who I was married to. (I still don’t). I didn’t realize until after that I was a victim of every for of abuse. I’m also 100% suffering from RSD and PTSD.(abandonment) Apparently that doesn’t mean much to Ouachita Parish, Monroe Louisiana or to anyone in Louisiana. All I can say is I was a good wife and great mother. I only regret that I was able to see that my husband was living a double life. I had no idea until I started researching him looking for answers to why and who has caused this. Come to find out not only was he in the oil/gas trade he was also in real estate/land development. I can only say wow. I can’t tell you how many aliases he has or addresses. It’s insane. I have worked tirelessly trying to get to the bottom of it. I have shared this with my attorneys that have thrown me under the bus. I can’t understand why and how they are able to do what they have done and just withdraw with the judges signature. I have been made to sign a property settlement without anything. He has all the retirement, checking accounts and property. I have nothing. I begged my attorney to please go to trial. She said I would lose and would end up writing him a big check. She said she would withdraw if I didn’t sign it. She also said if I found properties or anything that was not listed then that would make the settlement null and void. Well I did and she withdrew. The attorney before her withdrew three days before a hearing that I wasn’t notified of and she didn’t turn in my master list. I just found out she is a life long friend and graduated high school with my ex. I have a court date next month for my ex to sale my home. This is a man that was living with his ex girlfriend in South Carolina and listed the address on our taxes. (While we were married)! He has townhouses and apartments that he conveniently said he sold. While we were married. This man ruined my credit and laughed about it. I gave every penny for over 22 years to our account just to be on food stamps and Medicaid now. It’s horrible. I need help I don’t have family and I’m so tired of people being so ugly just because people are struggling. I can’t understand how I can start a marriage out with $11,000 and now 20 years later have nothing. He has paid off these people. I don’t understand how anyone can finalize a property settlement without turning in financials!!! I need help saving my home. He never had a key. I’ve lived here 6 years and I’m trying to get my home in my name before the court date. I also need a private investigator to prove what I am saying is true and bonafide. I hope this helps and y’all can understand.
