I live in Asheville NC and the hurricane destroyed everything around me, my home, my car and generally everything in sight. I have four dogs, my husband and me living in our home.
We really need help recovering from the hurricane. Fema did nothing. I applied on Oct 2 I turned in all paperwork and called many many times. Still nothing to help us.no explanation of why they have t contacted us in any way either. They strongly suggested I apply for a small business loan.
, I went blind a couple of years ago and had to have cataract surgery and since that time I havent been able to work. My husband is disabled and waiting on disability to approve him. I have always worked, we have always worked, so not having a steady stream of income has been hard enough without the hurricane to destroy us even further. I have been teaching myself precious metal recovery and have slowly collected knowledge and supplies to start a recovery and refining business along with building my greenhouse to grow plants to supplement our income. Once we
had made it to the point of start up business Helene decided she wanted my supplies more than me so she swept them away. Literally.
Please help me to help myself. There are a lot of things I need the money for but most of all to better myself and give us a
chance to build a business that is solid and will continue to
thrive here in our home and environment
