Hello~
My name is Anastasia and I am a Russian/Ukrainian immigrant who moved to the US. My family is big, I currently have 3 siblings, not including me. I am the eldest (22), and I have 2 brothers (20 and 3), and another sister (12).
My parents moved and left everything behind to give me and my siblings the future that they believed we deserved, with no war and no conflicts. They worked extremely hard and sacrificed their health and their comfort for us, and I just wish to repay it.
I worked very hard and got my Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of Florida. I graduated debt-free, working full-time and earning my residency scholarship. I came back home, desiring to help my parents.
I work as a pharmacy technician and as a waitress, I also tutor on the side, saving money for my school. I also take care of my siblings and care for my mom, as my dad is pretty absent from the household and does not help. Same with my brother- he dropped out of high school and does not bother to help.
My mom, who worked as a lawyer her whole life in Russia, now works in Papa John’s flipping pizzas due to the lack of English. She currently has a back injury, multiple broken discs, and herniations, she comes back home in pain every day. It hurts me physically and emotionally to see her like this.
I already got accepted into UF pharmacy school, and I already managed to save halfway, but any dollar counts, and I am asking for your help to kickstart my future so I can help my mom and make it easy for her.
I love her very much, my younger siblings rely on me, the bills are stacking up, and my mom and I are losing it trying to cover it all. She wants me to graduate debt-free, and I only need another 20k$ to cover my school, which would allow me to fully focus on the house and helping my family.
God bless you for any money you can donate, I will pray for your health and the kindness that you bestowed me and my mom. Please use this link to donate.
