My name is Faye! I am a nursing student attending Valparaiso University. I am currently in my second year of my BSN program with the intent of continuing on to the DNP program. One step at a time though. I am doing very well currently with my grades and I am enjoying the program. It is challenging and at times overwhelming but I am ever encouraged to keep pushing forward. I am employed part-time and it honestly isn’t a ‘bad’ job if there is such a thing, it just does not pay very well but they work around my schedule which allows me time to focus on my studies. I have applied and received Financial Aid from FAFSA and what i have left to cover is around $21,000 ( 7,000 per year). I do not have a specific goal of money to raise from donations but i am appreciative of anything given. Donations will be used directly for tuition. I am very excited to be on this journey and I being taught by some pretty amazing Nursing professionals ( i love my professors!) and if i could become half as good of a nurse as they are I will undoubtedly make a difference and that it my ultimate goal, to make a difference.
