This is the first time I’ve requested public assistance of any sort, so it does admittedly make me nervous. I am currently paying off my grad student loan debt and would like to request any help that people can spare. I have tried to tackle this debt for many years and have successfully chipped away at a large sum but it is not enough to relieve the stress of having this debt looming over me.
I am a single-income earner that has spent a lot of time helping family, friends, and strangers in need throughout the years, so have not always focused on my own debt, and that is definitely a choice that I made. I am working to live a debt free life so that I can actually enjoy it, and my student loan debt is something that at times prevents me from doing so. I worked very hard to pay off my car and credit card debts this year, but would love the opportunity to save more money for my future with some assistance of any kind. I would love to spend more time traveling the world, cooking, and enjoying the hard work and dedication that I put into my daily life. I also thoroughly enjoy helping others, so also would like to free up more of my income to continue my community efforts. I appreciate any help I may receive and would love to send personalized thank you notes (and other handmade gifts) as an expression of gratitude to anyone that donates.
