My name is Momar Ba, a devoted husband and father to five wonderful children aged 17, 14, 9 (twins), and 8. Originally from Ivory Coast and raised in Senegal, I arrived in the United States in 2002, driven by the pursuit of the American dream. From 2007 to 2011, I pursued nursing studies at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio. However, in 2010, while preparing immigration documents to reunite my wife and two eldest children with me, I faced significant financial and time constraints. Balancing part-time work with rigorous clinical studies led to academic setbacks, causing me to halt my education.
In November 2012, my family joined me, and I took on two jobs to secure suitable housing beyond our initial small studio. My wife, limited by language barriers and lack of formal education, contributes by occasionally offering hairdressing services. Currently, I am employed as a Level 2 Operator at Swagelok.

Despite our combined efforts, managing the mortgage, daily expenses, and credit card debts has made it nearly impossible to address my outstanding student loan, which now totals approximately $66,604.80, including $14,238 in unpaid accrued interest as of January 19, 2015.
Our children express a deep desire to visit our homeland, a wish we are unable to fulfill due to our financial constraints. With the ongoing challenges of inflation and rising living costs, we find ourselves in a difficult situation. We humbly seek your generosity to help us overcome this financial hurdle, allowing us to stabilize our finances and provide better opportunities for our children.
