I am a single mother working hard to create a more stable and independent life for myself and my daughter. I am asking for help raising $15,000 to assist me with securing a place of our own, obtaining reliable transportation, and continuing to grow the small business I have been building in hopes of creating an additional source of income for my family.
Right now, my daughter and I do not have a home of our own. We are staying with family, and while I am grateful that we have somewhere to stay, my biggest goal is to provide my daughter with a stable home where she can have her own space and where we can finally establish a household of our own. I am actively trying to improve our circumstances, but the upfront costs of moving—including a security deposit, first month’s rent, household necessities, and other expenses—make it extremely difficult to get ahead while also handling everyday responsibilities.
Transportation is another major challenge for me. I currently do not have my own vehicle, which makes balancing work, my daughter’s school schedule, appointments, errands, and other responsibilities much more difficult and expensive. Having reliable transportation would give me greater flexibility in finding and maintaining employment, caring for my daughter, and handling the responsibilities that come with being a parent.
I am also building my small business, LuvliStudio, an online shop that I hope can eventually provide another dependable stream of income for my family. I have already put time, effort, creativity, and resources into getting the business started. I am not expecting success overnight, but I believe that with consistency, proper marketing, quality products, and time, I can continue growing it into something meaningful. A portion of the assistance I receive would help me invest responsibly in the business while I continue pursuing stable employment and financial independence.
My $15,000 goal would primarily help with the costs of moving into stable housing, obtaining dependable transportation, essential household and moving expenses, and a smaller portion toward marketing and growing LuvliStudio. This would not simply be spending money—it would give me breathing room to establish the basic foundation my daughter and I need while I continue working toward supporting us independently.
