My name is Savannah and I am a 37 year old single mother of 3 amazing young boys; Jamison(16) Kason(15) and Audrik(11). I am a licensed Cosmetologist in North Carolina and I have loved my career for almost 18 years. I am very passionate about my work and love nothing more than to make people feel great about themselves. Over the years, I have been blessed with amazing clients and I strive to do my best work on each and every one of them. As we all have experienced hardships throughout our lives, at this time, I am coming here to ask for not only financial assistance but also your prayers. Just recently, I have found the strength, through lots of prayer and thought, to walk away from an extremely unhealthy, toxic relationship. For the last 4 years, I have been mentally and emotionally abused by a man who said he loved us. My children, his children(17 and 19 year old girls) and I have been fed so many lies, broken promises and were told to wait until he made it and we would all be fine. I was tired of the lies, the broken promises, excuses, narcissism and gaslighting a long time ago, but I had to figure out the safest and easiest way to ask him to leave without him hurting us further. Due to his carelessness, unfortunately he left us with a huge financial mess. He took the vehicle that I was driving daily to get my children to and from school and all of their sporting events. I am not able to afford a reliable vehicle(or any vehicle) at this time, I’m struggling to pay my bills and I definitely don’t have anything extra to buy my children anything for Christmas this year. I have a wonderful support system from my family friends, but unfortunately none of them are able to financially help me at this time. To hear my children tell me they are proud of me for protecting them means everything to me. I want to be able to help them feel safe in a reliable vehicle and they deserve to wake up on Christmas morning with gifts. I do work hard, full time from a salon space in my home and before he took the car, I was delivering for Ubereats and Spark driver for Walmart. I can no longer do my deliveries and its been such a huge struggle to keep up with everything. My parents divorced after almost 30 years of marriage just before Covid hit and they moved to different states and I no longer have family close to help me transport my children to and from their activities. I was working in a salon when Covid hit, but unfortunately was laid off in 2021. I decided to make a small salon in my home so that I could have the flexibility for my children and their schedules. I love being able to be a part of my childrens sports and school activities. I’m not one to ask for help but this is my only hope for a new beginning and a great Christmas for my children. Please help me provide a fresh start for my 3 amazing boys! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to hear my cry for help and for contributing any way that you can.
