On December 1, 2019, I lost my husband to cancer. He was diagnosed in 2016 and had surgery the same year. He started with radiation and chemotherapy treatment but it was too strong for him. he stopped working and continued the treatments. I was working two jobs to support my family. I maxed out my savings, and 401k to care for my family. There is nothing left. On December 1st, 2019, my husband was not breathing properly so I rushed him to the emergency room where he was admitted that night. I didn’t know that would be the last time I would see my husband. One of the doctors came to tell me they tried to resuscitate him but not working. so, my husband died. He left me with little children. my son was 4 years old and my daughter 1 year old. It has been very hard for me and my children ever since my husband died. I worked for a private agency as a credential officer for 10 years and also had a side hustle as a hairdresser. The private agency laid off 5 employees because they said they were streamlining the budget. I was laid off. I am now a hairdresser trying to make it each day for me and my children. My husband did not have any insurance protection for me and my children so it has been very hard. I am seeking financial assistance of any amount to help me and my children stand on our feet.
