Help My Aunt — A Mom in Crisis
My aunt is a hardworking nurse who has spent her entire life caring for others. Since she was a child, she has carried a powerful gift from God — a calling to help, heal, and serve.
She recently moved across the country from Washington State to take a nursing contract in Delaware, but the contract was unexpectedly canceled. Without warning, she lost the opportunity she had prepared for and suddenly found herself without stable housing.
Right now, she is in Massachusetts with her daughters, and they are sleeping in their rental car with their cat and dog. She has no money for housing, food, daily essentials, gas, or pet care. Every day is a struggle to keep her girls warm, fed, and safe.
She has secured a new nursing contract, but she cannot begin until she has basic stability. Her daughters also need plane fare to Tucson, Arizona, so they can come stay with my mom while their mom works to get back on her feet, if we are able to make that happen.
