Finally kicked him out!

Hi, thank you for reading this and hold onto your hats! Lol

I am 36, my son is 11 and my twin daughters are 5. We had been living with my twins father who in all honesty started acting different after I gave birth in 2020. At first he seemed great with my son and then it was as if he was jealous of him! And later on he did actually admit that there was some jealousy and he didn’t know why. The point here is, he’s never really been the father my kids deserve (especially for my son who was needing him most after I had the twins!) there’s so much it’s hard for me to boil it down to give you a good idea of our situation without keeping you forever reading. Me and my kids were already living in uncertain and highly unpredictable circumstances with this man and for many years I felt SO incredibly stuck financially because I wasn’t working anymore after I had the twins plus Covid had my son doing zoom school and you know the rest (I wasn’t an essential worker). My son’s father was forced out of the picture due to addiction and poor choices that led our judge to remove his in-person visitation until he took the court ordered hair follicle test back in Oct.2023 and still doesn’t have visitation back. Long story short, my now Ex (whom I will call A for privacy and ease) has been really hard on my son who does have A LOT of energy and has had issues being gentle with one of his sisters and listening (although I wish I would have known what I know now about kids and behavior but I just didn’t know back then). I now know that he was feeling unheard and unseen and hurting inside for his mama’s time and attention and A never helped me with the twins and just left my son instead of spent quality time with him and building a bond😭. Anyway, right before Thanksgiving A lost his cool on my son for the last time and I told him he needed to find another place to live! Meanwhile I just recently started a new business and have had to step back a little in dealing with all of this stuff going on at home and with court and my kids emotional wellbeing. The last thing we all need right this moment is to have to move right before Christmas because I can’t afford all of these bills by myself right now. A is already telling me he can’t afford to pay this rent and a whole other rent (even though we both know he can afford it in short term). Due to the fact that A grabbed my son by the shirt and ripped him off the couch and then slammed him against the wall while I was finishing my shower, I heard all the commotion and ran downstairs half dressed to protect my son and calm my daughters, luckily my son felt comfortable to share with his therapist and of course she has to report it. She said I have done everything I am supposed to in order to protect my kids and will help me get resources (but said that it takes a while, many months unfortunately). I need assistance ASAP, financially in order to keep this house and our utilities on as well as Christmas still coming this year! Monthly expenses are $4,590×3= $13,770 + whatever can be shared for my kids Christmas presents if possible. Almost $14,000 is already so much, I will do my best to find other resources for Christmas gifts. Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to read all of this, and take it in to consideration. Please know that I have grown immensely through all of this and found a great love for myself that was lacking before, which is definitely why I allowed toxic people into my life, well NO MORE! WE deserve WAY BETTER! And I will NEVER ever settle for anything less than what I deserve and my kids too! Take care! Happy holidays!💝
