Hello, my name is Didi, and I am a single mother of an 11-year-old girl and a four-month-old boy. I’m also a survivor of domestic violence. I decided to choose myself and my children and I left but when I did, I left everything I had, my car, my home and all our possessions but I have what is important, my children. I have been working on getting us back on our feet, but it’s been hard and all the money I get goes right back into surviving. So here I am looking for some help. I need enough money to get a place for me and my children to live. I am in need of the first month’s rent and deposit and that is around $3000. If I can just get a little help to get into a home, I can sustain that and then I can make it on my own. It’s just getting started. I just want to give my children the life that they deserve and the mother that they deserve. I can only hope that I can get some help to start our lives again.
