Hello. Thanks for reading this post. I’m Michael and I’m not really sure how to write this. I never thought I’d find myself in this position because it is incredibly difficult to lay your life bare and ask for help. Unfortunately like everyone else on here I never thought I’d be on a site like this asking for money. I am a proud, single father of a teenage daughter. She is amazing and it saddens me that she has to see her father continually struggle like this. Sadly, her mother is not consistently in her life and I am trying to play the role of both mother and father. All this while trying to run my small business. It is hard, really hard. My small business is my life long dream and the business has taken hits during this rough economy no matter how hard I work. This is causing me to fall behind financially. It seems like I take one step forward with the business and fall two steps backwards. The expenses of the business have gone up and the income from it has drastically decreased. I’m not ready to give up on my dream yet, but I need to make sure my daughter is taken care of. All of this has caused my depression to worsen and it seems the world is against me. It can make life a daily struggle for me but I continue to try. Right now I just try to take life day by day but it can be very difficult at times. So, here I am, asking for help. I just need help getting caught up on my bills. I’m behind on my rent, utilities, and struggling to buy groceries for my daughter and I. To some it may not seem like a lot but this money could change my and my daughter’s lives and put us on a better path moving forward. If I can get this money I can consistently provide for her. I could pay to help her sign up for driver’s education classes so she can get her license, I could buy her new clothes and school supplies. I believe that $7000 would help me and the business become financially stable.
