I decided to drop everything and start studying to become an airline pilot 5 years ago. It’s been my dream to follow in my grandpa’s footsteps since I was very little but life circumstances kept me from doing this for 15 years.
Over the last five years I successfully achieved all of my pilot ratings, and became a flight instructor. I recently finished building the 1,500 hours of flight time needed to become an airline pilot and am currently in Dallas studying for my Airline Transport Pilot certificate. I already have a job with an airline that starts 6 weeks from now but I have run out of savings to survive until then. My family is very poor and I am the only one with any sort of education. I am doing this not only to realize my own dream but mostly to help my family.
I just need some help with rent and food for one month’s worth of expenses until I begin my new job. I am down to $150 in my account and don’t know how I will even make it to Day 1 of this job I have been training so hard for.
I am happy to send photos of my journey through email as proof of what I am doing. This has been a very long and difficult road (five years of very hard work, no vacation, no holidays) and I just need a small amount of help to make it to my job. Thank you kindly, any help is so much appreciated.
