I am asking help to cover my rent, as I have fallen behind, and fear eviction. I was involved in an accident last October. I was hit by an uninsured driver. My car was totaled by my insurance company. No injuries, thank God. However, I still had a loan out on my car, and the insurance payment did not cover the full amount. I also had the $1000 deductible that was on me. I was able to get another car, with a co signer, months later. Then last May my rent gets raised by $200 and a $75 late fee if it’s paid late. I now owe $3550 in rent. Let me tell you who I am. I’m a 64 year old female who lives alone. I work full time for $18.00 an hour . I have applied for other jobs, with no avail. I’m sure it’s my age. I have rent, car payments, insurance, credit card payments, and food to pay for out of my pay. It’s snowballed out of control since the car accident. I fear I will have no place to live soon. I’m a hard worker, and I never miss work . I’ve asked for raises, but it never happens. I am a complete mess, my anxiety is at a full blown level. Please, can anyone out there help me? Thank you
