Hello all,
I never thought I would have to do this. Plead for help based on the information I am about to give here.
One of my best friends passed away from a very unexpected suicide on 12/7. He was the general manager of the hotel that I was staying at. He completely mismanaged our stay though and once he passed, we were given a bill of over $5,000. It was a special setup that he gave the amount for which was much less than he was forced to charge later on. He never told us about it though. He never knew how to tell us and bring it up. He had all of these dark mental health issues and a serious alcohol problem. I walked in on him and passed away and it was the worst thing I have ever experienced. We left the place because we could not bear to be there any longer. We were staying on the same floor when I found his body. Even though we are not staying there, we are still owing the money. The hotel’s owner had no clue about all of his problems and secrets. Of course, neither did any of us. We stayed there and counseled him in late-night sessions for almost the entire year we were there. We tried so hard to push him toward help but it was always up to him.
If more information is needed on this, I will share it. It is very hard to talk about it and I am sorry if some of it seems sporadic. We were left with this bill for $5,000 and did not know what to do. We want to purchase a house in a few months and cannot afford to have a personal loan put on our credit history. We need to pay this and move forward for our mental health and benefit. If anyone is willing to fund the $5,000, gift it, anything. If there is a need to pay it back, I will agree to pay it back. I may be able to do that at a decent time. If someone could just use the link below to donate even a portion, that would be so incredibly helpful. We are in dire need of assistance on this. I am so grateful to any and everyone who would be moved to help us in this situation.
